TRANSITING SATURN CONJUNCT THE MIDHEAVEN

This transit marks a culmination period directly related to occupational achievements in life.  With this aspect, many find that they are now embarking on a turning point in their development which was started about 14 years ago when Saturn was in opposition to this position.  Whatever you started then has now reached a stage where your efforts to this point will either start to pay off or fall short.  What efforts did you put forth?  Much depends on how you prepared for this time and if you were dedicated to putting in the necessary effort and energy into your work, it will undoubtedly now provide you with dividends.  On the other hand, if you did not prepare properly or if you did things in halfway measures, taking short cuts to achieve what you set out to do, you may not reap many rewards.

This can be a very productive time in your life.  It is also suggested that you will be called to duty and your obligations will need to be fulfilled or you may not see the results you would like to see.  The time you spent in preparation and the push you have applied will be indicative of the route you must now walk.  This transit requires hard work and the beginning of this period may be quite challenging to get things going, but with perseverance and a steady, persistent effort, it will work out quite well for you.

Regardless of how things turn out, make sure that you take responsibilities for what you have been doing up to this point in time and also for where this productive time will take you.  Although this conjunction only takes place every 29 years, you can move forward with these objectives now and in seven years time, you will once again have the opportunity to advance your project.  However, the emphasis is now and this is a time when you reap what you sow.

Moving forward in reaching your objectives is suggested and picking yourself up from what you might call failure is also highly advised.  If you fall short of reaching your objectives make sure you learn from your previous actions and take life by the horns and begin once again.  This time around utilize the experience you have gained and a frame of mind that will only add to the potential down the road.  It is never too late to start again.  Keeping a positive attitude is always recommended.

This is a productive time in your life where you move forward with new responsibilities and duties that not only apply to your occupation, but also signifies a starting point in the visualization of your goals in life.  A slow but steady rise often follows this initial starting point.  Make sure you look to see how Saturn and the Midheaven are positioned and aspected in your birth chart as this will provide you with information on what you are capable of doing in this life.  Even if these positions are under hard aspect, you can still accomplish you goals.  This only means that you will have to work harder to achieve your success.  With the challenging aspects, the rewards can be quite significant as long as you do not jump or miss any steps along the way.

THE GIFT OF GIVING

As we live our day to day lives, how can we fulfill our own personal needs of filling our hearts with loving warmth?  What can we do for ourselves that might lift us from the heaviness that sometimes surround us?  Does the holiday season that is fast approaching add to this heaviness? 

Many of us spend much time wondering around searching for the perfect gifts for those we love with the hopes that the perfect gift will bring them joy.  It certainly is a special time of year for most of us and although the news has been gloomy as of late, we can fill ourselves with the spirit of various celebrations - Bodhi Day, Advent, Christmas, Pancha Ganapati, Hanukkah, Yalda, Newtonmas, life in general and the list goes on.

Every day should be a time of joy and a time of giving.  We should focus on this rather than spend another minute caught up in what seems to be the endless bombardment of negativity and sorrow.  Do not own the hopelessness and share in the light of giving.  Giving is not just for others.  Be sure to give to yourself, to give to yourself something of meaning whether it be a quiet moment for self reflection or a day of pampering in other ways.  Reward yourself for who you are and recognizing your efforts.

It is a time of giving (and we are not referring to material “things”).  It is a time for love.  It is a time for spending quality time with those that matter most in your life.  It is a time to gather together and share in our blessings and to recognizing all life has to offer.  Share your abounding love and recognize the love that surrounds you.  Find that special place within.  Share your life.  It is a time for all of this and so much more; not because it is a special time of year but because this moment is now, because today is today.  The same will hold true for tomorrow and the day that follows.  Make each and every day a special day to celebrate.

LOVE'S RADIATING LIGHT

Seek not from the outside what can easily be found within. 

Open the door to love’s emotional perception through visualization and awareness.  It is ever present within...always available and waiting to be utilized. 

Love radiates from self on a purely instinctual level.  It does not grow from the intellect although the intellect needs to understand that it is present.  Love is a living breathing energy that radiates outward once acknowledged within.  It’s nature is ever seeking expansion.  We naturally radiate love unless we have trained ourselves otherwise.

It is available to and for everyone.  It can be experienced at any level of understanding.  Even the most intrusive individuals can share love and although many may feel as though they misplace love, it is always available and accessible if we believe in it.  Our personal pursuits, our quests are tied to love and although it seems as though it is blemished through our actions in life, true love is always pure and forgiving.

To experience love, we must look within.  If our world appears to be lacking in love, we are not accepting its existence within.  If we open ourselves to self love and believe that we are worthy no matter what ego may argue, we will know and experience the beauty of love.  No one is denied its existence without their personal consent.  Love’s availability is the same for an infant as it is for the elderly regardless of how we have lived our lives.

Find that loving light within that shines forever brighter.  It is calling you.  It is always willing to reveal and share itself naturally.  It is your inner light, your core.  Love radiates to the furthest reaches of life’s experience, if we allow.

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT NATAL JUPITER

Uranus is in the sign of Aries and has been in this sign since 2011.  It will remain in Aries until March of 2019.  The planet Uranus is known as the awakener and stirs activity into areas of life that not only need stimulation but also need a new direction.  Uranus’ action is often abrupt and comes at you in directions that you might not expect; therefore, it often causes unforeseen events to manifest.  If, for example, you have Uranus moving over the MC you could expect changes in the area of your occupation, your status in life and your aspirations.

When Uranus is in Aries, it sometimes pushes you into uncharted territory and suggests that you move forward in new adventures.  This could involve many areas of life and much will depend on where Uranus it transiting in your chart and also which house it is found in the birth chart.  This will provide you with some information about where you could expect a desire to break free and to move in new directions.  If for example Uranus was transiting through the first house and in the natal chart it is located in the seventh house, the potential for a new relationship or breaking away from an old one which no longer fits into your evolution as an individual is possible.

Uranus conjunct Jupiter is often considered an excellent aspect because of the fortunate nature of Jupiter.  In many cases the initial contact could bring possibilities for expansion.  This may be in financial terms or through opportunities for expansion within the working environment.  The initial contact could bring sudden unexpected opportunities where you could move in new directions and quite often experience extensive changes in your life.  This could take place through your own initiative or it could come from outside influences.  Regardless of how these changes take place you can be sure that they are meant to move you in an intended direction which will be clearer as time passes.

Jupiter expands and when linked with Uranus could bring new vision and opportunities to break down barriers that have stood in the way of progress in your life up until this point in time.  If these changes are necessary, you often have the opportunity to make them happen but if you do not take action to make these changes, something may come along that propels you in the direction you are meant to go.  Jupiter usually brings good luck and opportunities so these changes are usually beneficial over the long haul, at least those that remain in place.  Sometimes Uranus brings about sudden change and as quickly as it comes into your life, the individual or circumstance creating the change will leave.  Sometimes it is best not to count on things remaining the same.  The only thin consistent in life is change.  With Uranus you can always count on and expect the unexpected.

This is also a freedom aspect and Jupiter can promote travel and with Uranus involved, there may be unexpected journeys.  You may experience foreign cultures and travel to lands that you have never visited before during the conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus.  One thing is for sure, you will experience new horizons that will often lead to enlightenment on some level.  Jupiter’s energy reflects religion and mystical knowledge and this may be where you put your energies during this conjunction.  You may be open to new and exciting experiences linked with mysticism and the occult.

This is a very opportunistic conjunction and you should use it to your advantage and experience life during the moment to gain an understanding and insight into the working of the universe as a whole and your place in it.

Our Dreams

With mind, heart and arms wide open, create your dreams.  Envision the dreams as if they were already in place.  Examine every facet of these dreams.  Do they have true value?  Would they be deemed important for this life?  Will you find solace in their fulfillment?

Set your dreams on those matters that will help you grow as an individual and will foster some type of growth on a spiritual or overall level of understanding.  Your dreams do not have to be selfless but many selfless dreams always benefit the dreamer in some way. 

Do not be overly judgmental of your decisions and do not let ego interfere with your quest. 

With each dream, build a solid foundation that you can build on either today or at some later time.  Most dreams or quest will succeed if they are honorable in their nature.  Every dream should build character and in some way they will test us as an individual. 

We are capable of creating anything if we put our heart into our dreams or goals and if we are flexible and if we persevere. 

All dreams worth dreaming originate in the heart and are driven with passion.  Follow through on your dreams.  Manifest your dreams and create your own ever evolving story by recognizing and focusing your intentions.

PROGRESSED SUN CONJUNCT THE NATAL ASCENDANT

The Sun, whether it is the natal or progressed Sun, speaks of your vitality, energy and your ability to recuperate.  It also deals with the ego, ambition and governs the success you are able to attain in life.  The Sun also is representative of the Father and other male authority figures prominent in your life.

The progressed Sun moves one degree per year and over a period of your lifetime will not move too far from its original position at birth.  It will make semi-sextile to the natal Sun at 30, the semi-square at 45 and the sextile at 60.  For those lucky enough to live into their nineties, they will experience the square at age 90.  It will also make many aspects throughout your lifetime to other planetary placements in the birth chart, including the ascendant.  In order for it to reach the ascendant, the natal Sun must be within 90 degrees of the ascendant (11^th -12^th house) at birth to make any connections to this very significant placement.

The effects of the Progressed Sun on your ascendant would be a three year aspect and the middle year is the most significant as this will be when it becomes direct and 0 degrees in separation to this placement.  This conjunction can produce both challenging conditions and easy reinforcing life conditions that will aid you in moving forward in life.  This is partly due to the transits that will make contact to this placement over this period of time.

When a conjunction occurs there are often potential opportunities for advancement in the profession.  At times people in authority will aid the individual in achieving their goals and will become a motivating factor.  In some cases these opportunities come to the father.  In a woman’s chart, this is often a time of marriage or engagement and opportunities for meeting up with a suitable suitor are enhanced, especially if the Vertex is involved or Venus and Jupiter.  The health is usually good when the conjunction has easy aspects from transits affecting it.  The goals that this individual is trying to achieve have a greater chance for success.

If, however, this conjunction is receiving challenging aspects from other planets in transit, especially outer planets, the chances for success are greatly diminished or this individual will have to work very hard in order to achieve the same level of success that the easy flow aspects would create.   Much of what transforms depends on which planet is transiting the conjunction and its house placement as well as its house placement natally.  We can also look to the house it rules in the natal chart to get more information as to how events may unfold and what areas of life will be involved.  There may also be difficulties in the health of this individual although we would have to look at the overall condition of the natal ascendant and Sun as well as any planets in the twelfth house, known as the house of ingrained health issues, if poorly aspected.

When the progressed Sun advances towards the ascendant we may feel a draw to make changes to our life that would enhance our world.  Some will make changes to their appearance while some become involved in exercise routines that enhance the body.  Paying close attention to our well-being is always recommended and especially so when this conjunction is (again if we were born with the Sun in the 11^th or 12^th house) about to take hold in our life.
