HOLD ON TO GRIEF

When we lose someone close to us, it can be hard to move forward. Our “normal” no longer exists. The calendar days may pass by, but the emotional pain can remain. There is no right way or length of time to grieve but there can be emotionally healthier choices to be made.

 

Some will show no signs of grief possibly from denial or avoidance while others can be frozen in grief.  Some hold on to grief and the pain they are experiencing because it makes them feel as though, somehow, they are staying close to their lost loved one.

 

Grieving is not a linear process and can be just as much physical as it is emotional.  Be gentle with yourself and allow yourself to mourn your loss. 

 

The mourning process is a time to feel and process our loss but to also adjust to our new “normal” which moves forward without the physical presence of our lost loved one.  The five steps of grief are denial (hope), anger (pointing blame), bargaining (you can’t change places), depression (processing the loss) and acceptance (moving forward in a new way).  The lines between these stages are not defined and can be blurred regularly.

 

Some individuals can become stuck in any stage of grief. It is hard to be rational when we are engulfed in grief.  We can find ourselves asking questions such as, “Was it something I did?”, “What could I have done to change things?”, “Someone is to blame?”, “Why am I being punished?”, “Why wasn’t it me?” and the list goes on.

 

Some may push their pain on to others as they do not want to suffer alone, consciously or unconsciously. They take their anger out on the ones they love the most or put up walls to keep others away.

 

It’s hard to realize, in our depression, that those around us are also affected. We can be very hard on the ones we love the most. They too are grieving their own loss too. Their loss may be connected to your loved one directly or it may be their having to watch you suffering and your loss of participation in their lives. 

 

Most times, there are no specific reasons for what happens in life.  We can be sideswiped by events.  These experiences can seem very unfair.  On the other hand, we may be expecting the loss, knowing that it is coming but when it actually happens, you are not prepared though you thought you would be.

 

Accept that we cannot change the past, but we can certainly learn from the experiences.

 

No matter what the circumstances around the event, we must make our way through the grieving process. Take the time you need to experience and process but do not live in the past.  Live in the moment.

 

It is sad to let go and move forward without those you have created this life with. Do not hold on to grief. How wonderful that you have had the opportunity to enjoy and experience life with them, no matter what that length of time may have been.  Celebrate what they shared with you. Thank them for the journey you shared but continue with yours moving forward, in their honour.  Would they not want this?

NEPTUNE SEXTILE NATAL ASCENDANT

When Transiting Neptune is sextile your natal Ascendant, it is also making a trine to your natal Descendant.  This suggests that there are opportunities for self-examination which can bring about major changes to how you represent yourself. At the same time, it can bring about opportunities and likely easy flow when it comes to relationships that are an important part of your life, especially your partner and any business partnership that you currently have. 

 

The transformations that are taking hold with these important people will be quite favorable, partly because you now can bring to the surface anything that has been hidden or has not been seen clearly in the past.  You are more open to hidden agendas, and your intuition is heightened.  You can now deal more openly because you instinctively understand things on a clearer level.  You are also much more sensitive to what others are feeling and can trust the voice within for guidance, for helping others and yourself because you want to nurture.

The psychic realms and spiritual awareness now become more evident.  You can become more involved in these areas, and under this aspect, many do.  The door is now open to such avenues.

 

Because the Ascendant plays a big role in health, this is the time to take greater care of your body.  Exercise and proper eating habits should be practiced.  Under this aspect, it is the time to make changes to your body if your body requires healthy changes.  Looking after yourself might come more easily.

IT’S SPRING

On March 20, 2026, at 10:46 a.m. EDT, we will experience the Spring vernal equinox (Ostara). The Spring equinox is when the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are equal lengths--the balance of light and dark.

 

Spring brings with it the promise of a fresh start and renewal. Our world and our lives begin to shed their wintery blanket and light shines forth.

 

Eventually, sprouts will begin to push their way through the soil, trees will bud, the grass will green, snowflakes transform to raindrops and there is the promise of flowers, colour, new life, etc. 

 

Even without the telltale signs of nature, we know in our heart renewal is coming. Beyond these internal feeling, in a more intangible way, we see the change in the shadows, we feel it in the air, we hear it in nature and smell it in the wind, if we take the time to focus on these things.

 

Along with this new life springing forth in nature, there is the ability to have fresh starts in our own lives. Follow the example of nature. This is a time of renewed vigor, an awakening if you will. This can draw us nearer to the promise of warmth and sunshine in our hearts and souls, not just in nature. We can mirror and utilize the energy brought on through the change of the season to stimulate and push us in our pursuits, new or old.

 

A new beginning is at hand with the promise of personal growth depending on the seeds we now sow.

 

This is the time to renew our motivation, to push ahead and find outlets that can help us renew our commitment to ourselves for further growth, expansion, and evolution.

 

Springs seems to afford us the energy to move ahead more willingly in our endeavors, particularly those that we had allowed (as we should) to sleep during the winter.

 

We have hopefully done our shadow work over the winter, looking into our own personal shadows to understand self more clearly.  Now we can shine our light brightly in these corners due to our understanding.  Replace the darkness with light and hope.

 

This renewed vigor can propel us into new-found areas that may not have been available throughout the winter. It is truly up to us what we plan to do with this energy and whether we utilize it or whether we allow it to slip on by.

 

Mirror the season and take advantage of the energies at hand. Move ahead into the new. Reach beyond any limits. Step out of the shadows. The only thing holding us back is us. We are our own motivation or our own stagnation. Growth and advancement are a choice.

 

What can be accomplished with these energies? Nature is offering us something fresh and new to focus on. Nature is providing us with hope and renewal. It’s Spring! Plant seeds of promise and nurture them!

CREATE PEACE

We ask ourselves, “Can waging war deter aggression?”

 

If we look back in history, often aggression worsens conditions in many ways. 

 

What is the physical, emotional, mental and material cost of war for both sides?

 

Without concentrating on these losses already mentioned, generational grudges, hatred and further violence are usually the aftermath of war. 

 

Attacks on foreign soil and retaliation will increase, and if finance is high on your radar, worldwide trade and commerce will suffer.

 

All possibilities must be weighed out and in some cases no matter what we do to create peace, peace seems to evade us. 

 

We all have our limits, and we all must make choices. 

 

No one can truly speak personally for you.

JUPITER SQUARE NATAL URANUS

Transiting Jupiter while in transit has an 11 to12 year cycle to return to its original position in the natal chart.  Its cycle for major aspects are:

12 years for the Conjunction,

3 years and 9 years for the Square,

6 years for the Opposition,

4 years and 8 years for the Trine, and

2 years and 10 years for the Sextile. 

 

These numbers are rounded off due to retrograde and the direct motion of Jupiter meandering through the Zodiac. These timing frequencies are tied to the time after its natal position awakening, (the natal chart configuration). 

The Square to Uranus during Jupiter’s transit always suggests challenging conditions and the learning of valuable lessons often attached to belief structures that have been built over time.  When transiting Jupiter makes a square to natal Uranus, the conditions surrounding this aspect are challenging but at the same time, brings valuable awareness. 

 

Because of this awareness which can lead to change, we learn precious lessons that can assist in our journey.  We may look at our life structures through the belief systems we have adhered to and make changes.  We often alter our perception and realign our beliefs in a much more structured manner, although unique in its expression and often brought on through unexpected life events. These changes point us in a new direction that is more suitable for our evolutionary path.

 

Uranus, because of its unpredictability and sudden awarenesses coming to our attention, can bring results that are unprecedented and uplifting after some challenging conditions.  In some cases, our religious views alter, our perception of life is challenged and then a shift takes place, affecting our philosophic ideologies. New doors are opened. 

 

The Natal position of Uranus by house and sign position will provide guidance as to how this unfolds and what area of life is involved.  Jupiter’s transiting position by house and sign will also add great insight into the potential of what is unfolding in a rather dynamic way at this time. 

 

With transiting Jupiter square natal Uranus, you likely will not look back to how you viewed your life as your new awareness is more integrating and puts you in a place more suitable for now, although tough to handle during the process.
