LIBRA FULL MOON 2026

A Full Moon, as many of you are aware, is the culmination of goals or energy put in place some six months ago when we had our New Moon in the same sign.  This Full Moon is in the sign of Libra, the sign of the scales, is linked to relationships of significance in this life.  April 2, the Libra Full Moon will at 12° degrees.

 

During this full moon, using an orb of no more than 3° degrees, it will form a Square to the planet Jupiter which is at 15° degrees in the sign of Cancer.

 

Since Cancer and Libra are both signs that have to do with family and the relationships with them, this is likely tied to members of our family if the Full Moon is making contact in our Astrology chart.  For example, this can include your parents, your spouse and/or your children, if the fifth house is part of the picture. It will affect your relationship with co-workers if the sixth house is involved, and with friends if the eleventh house is part of the picture. 

 

Cancer (Jupiter’s current sign) is an emotionally driven sign, and Libra (the Moon’s current sign) wants to create peace, balance and fairness including justice when necessary.  If there are wrongdoings, the feelings will run deep. If there has been injustice, there is a need to rectify the situation.  All comes out in the wash as they say. You have to put things into the washing machine before they can come out clean. The residue of the dirt that might have surfaced needs to be cleared away.

 

This will most likely, as mentioned, be about relationships.  With Jupiter being part of the process and having been in place for some time, things or these energies will likely have reached a peak. Although the situations are heightened, because of the influence of the great benefactor, Jupiter, you should be able to work things out for the best, if you do what must be done to make things right.

 

Libra suggests you use diplomacy and bring about the balance that is required.  Be the judge but try not to make too many judgements.  Libra always looks at both sides of the situation and will work hard on either side of the coin to bring about favorable outcomes. 

 

There is potential here, but it will take work. Square aspects force you into action, because you want resolution.  Do your best. If it is personal, practice forgiveness. If it is not personal, do not take on the energies of others. It serves no purpose other than to create anxiety to be emotionally involved in something that is not yours to own. 

 

This Libra Full Moon 2026 will certainly involve relationships and emotions will be amplified.  Find peace, balance, fairness and even justice where necessary.

LIBRA FULL MOON, 2025

A Full Moon signifies the conclusion or harvest time of seeds we planted in the garden of life some six months ago when we had the New Moon in the same sign. What began then is now completing its course, and the fruits of our labors are revealed to us.  These results or culmination points are directly related to the amount of energy we put forth to reach our goals.

 

This Full Moon is in the sign of Libra at 23°.  Libra often has to do with relationships and the need for balance and harmony associated with people that are important to us.  Partnership is often what this speaks to and the house in your chart this Full Moon is found in will indicate the area of life involved.

 

The astrological houses (12 all together) ruled by signs on the cusps and occupied by planets will have a huge impact on how this energy plays out.  For example, if the eighth house is involved or highlighted then shared resources are part of the picture.  If the fourth house is involved, the home and family will be active agents during this phase.  If there are planets that are either primarily in Conjunction or in Opposition to this placement and only out by no more than 3°, they are influences in the unfolding story.  It will also be important to see how these planets are configured within the framework of the Natal chart.

 

A Full Moon always has the Moon and Sun in opposition to one another.  In this case, the Sun is Conjunct tightly with Chiron, known as the wounded healer.  Chiron’s Natal position in the Birth chart often depicts an area where you are good at healing others but not so good at healing yourself.  When Conjunct the Sun, it indicates that your goals, aspirations and path in life need healing at this point in time. 

 

This can also speak of the Husband or Father, and it suggests that some harmonizing is necessary to achieve the healing that needs to unfold, and a balancing act will likely be part of the process.  You may want to be diplomatic at this time and avoid any confrontations if possible.  Work within the realms of peace and gentleness but say what must be said.  This has been in place for some time now. Time will tell how you have made out in these endeavors. 

 

In summary, the Libra Full Moon 2025 represents the harvest of something you have been working towards over the past 6 months likely involving relationships, balance and harmony. Enjoy your rewards.

Full Moon Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Libra

We will be experiencing a Full Moon Penumbral Lunar Eclipse on March 25 at 5° in the sign of Libra at 3 a.m. EDT.  This is a precise alignment of the Sun, the Earth and the Moon in that order, where the earth obscures the Sun creating periods of darkness for those that are influenced by this alignment. 

Because it is in the sign of Libra, there is a degree of peace and a soothing energy which often surrounds us during this event.  This is a time to bring harmony and balance into anything that we have not yet brought to the surface in our lives. This can be emotional issues and it is time to look within even when what surfaces may not be overly pleasant. We must see things as they are and face these parts/issues to deal with them.  Some of this may stem from our past and anything that has been left behind and is currently unresolved will now surface into our conscious self.

We can become more self-aware of our lives and its circumstances, and this applies particularly to relationships, hopefully finding a balancing point where we can reflect on what has been unsaid and now needs to be spoken.  You must be honest but at the same time remember that others may not have that strength. 

This Eclipse may activate current transits or progressions that have been in place in our personal charts, and it will be important to find meaning behind what these charts indicate.  The house placement of the Eclipse will speak in terms of the area of life involved. If it activates any other significators in the chart, you will have to carefully evaluate what this might mean.  It is time to assess life’s conditions and reflect and then take action to eliminate any current issues left unresolved in order to move ahead in your life’s journey.

This can be an important period in life, and it would be wise to use these energies to advance and remove what no longer needs to be in place.  Always use the energies in their ultimate best expression and take into consideration the effect that your actions will have on others.
