TRANSITING URANUS TRINE THE MOON

This aspect signifies a great time to make changes to your emotional outlook on life.  If you have been caught up in emotional trauma, this transit is all about changes and your ability to break free of these tight holds from the past.  Since the Moon deals primarily with your emotions, this is a great place to start.  As you begin viewing your emotional life from a new perspective, you will notice that the environment around you also starts to adjust.

One thing is for certain, change can be counted on when Uranus is involved.  As mentioned earlier, this could relate to your emotional makeup, the emotional settings in your life, the home front and also emotional security.   The impact of Uranus can be felt as much as 5 degrees approaching and 2 degrees separating.  Trines are usually positive in their nature although Uranus is unpredictable so anything can happen.  If challenging conditions are apparent, the trine will speed up the process.  Be open to the “new” and know that change comes when we are ready for it.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF FAMILY

Do not underestimate the importance of family and close acquaintance, especially family members that have maintained a close bonds.  They are important on the day to day level but they are also important on a reincarnation, karmic and spiritual growth level.  For those of us that acknowledge reincarnation, we believe that our family members and close friends have chosen once again to return into our lives and play a role in it with us.  Our marriage partner, children, parents and siblings hold particular relevance in our lives.  The simple fact that they have chosen to come back into our lives indicates this significance. 

It is a true honour to share this existence with these individuals.  We flock together with the same group consciousness intentionally to play significant roles in each other’s lives.  Your partner may have been a close friend, a sibling, a parent or possibly an adversary in your previous encounter. 

Those relationships that are exceedingly challenging also have karmic implications that the parties involved have come to resolve.  As a result, it is important to realize that you should deal with the challenges at hand and create a resolution to whatever problems that may exist.  These are important lessons that have been cast into our lives to be resolve.  Talking openly about conflicts or complications within relationships serve to open the lines of communication for resolution of current and past life issues.  Both parties need to do their part and discuss the issues in order to find resolution, otherwise the karmic dept is still left unpaid. 

There are circumstances where one individual in a partner seems to suffer.  Could this be unresolved karma played out? 

Are the scales being balances or are future karmic issues being created?

Should we not always ensure that our actions stem from good intention and that our choices are made from the heart?  If you have worked to resolve issues and the other individual involved is not, could the lesson be to let go of the connection?

Ties with close friends and family are extremely important.  They are significant in our spiritual development.  How we treat others has momentous implications. 

We have chosen to come together once again to assist, learn from and appreciate the love that is co-created in these relationships.  They can facilitate growth on some level.  They can promote love and compassion.

Recognize the importance of each relationship in your life.  Gain in understanding through the challenges that you may have to endure.  Recognize and acknowledge those individuals that have brought love and peace in abundance to your life. 

Take life’s lessons as they come.  Build your karma in this life and the next through love and appreciation for one another.

THE HEALTHY SKEPTIC

Life’s circumstances are forever remolding us and presently us with new and different information.  If we are open, we are forever awakening to new ideas and concepts.  It is healthy, however, to question the validity of information received, although we should always keep the doors for new knowledge open.  Closing the door to potential is not indicative to learning and leaves all further development unavailable.  We should never, however, blindly accept all information tossed our way.  The healthy skeptic should be alive and inquisitive.

Questioning is partially the mind’s interference and just simply relying on faith to open the door is not an easy step to take for many of us.  There are of course the select few that have that ingrained faith that so many of us are trying to maintain.  They have faith in our higher sources, our higher self and in their gut reaction and know that they can rely completely on these. 

Most times for those of us that live in our earthly minds, belief structures based on past experiences are the motivating factor as to whether we choose to accept or choose to deny information that comes our way.  Much of our interference can be related to ego.  It is there to protect us, when necessary from those that would take advantage of us.  Ego, however, can distort its importance to maintain its control over any new course of action we may consider.

As we venture deeper into the unknown, we begin to uncover some of our deeper, hidden personal facets.  We begin to recognize safety barriers we have put in place and our own personal fears we have developed.  With a deeper look, we can recognize that these blocks are often related to the ego as well as the programming we have received in our developing years.  Our past is questioned and the ego’s stronghold is threatened.  Letting go of ego interference can be very difficult.  Releasing all that we have been told in the past as “fact” can be unnerving but we now realize that it is essential for future growth.

As we break from these chains of the past and of ego, we venture into the unknown as children.  What is ahead will be filled with adventure and it is exciting to begin this new journey.  We are children knocking at the door of a new found awakening where ego has no place and offers little.  We may still question but we begin to acknowledge that there really is something beyond what is accepted as the “norm”. 

This is where faith begins to awaken and we make our way beyond the bondage that has held us back for so long.  We venture forth not knowing what lies ahead and in careful anticipation of locating a part of our being and spiritual makeup that has been locked away up until now.

Questioning as we venture forward is a healthy approach.  You would not walk out on the ice without knowing its depth for support. 

Step forth on your journey with questions but also be open, inquisitive and filled with love and faith in all that is.

TECHNIQUES IN FORECASTING AN ASTROLOGY CHART

As we become familiar with the basics in astrology, such as the signs, houses and aspects, we begin to get a firm foundation.  The birth chart is a precise tool to assist in delineating the character traits of a particular individual.  There are many variations found in a natal chart and this is what sets each of us apart and makes us so unique in our personalities.

Once we get a clear picture of what makes a person with an Aries Sun and a Capricorn Moon different from someone with an Aquarius Sun and a Cancer Moon (only part of the process) we can move on to understanding upcoming transits and progressions.  These tools are used in Astrology to decipher what potential future events or areas of life will be affected by the passing of the planetary giants in our solar system.

We have to take into consideration all the planets but pay particular attention to the outer planets, especially Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.  Any inner planets that are in retrograde motion for a prolonged period of time however should also have our attention.  The inner planets move very quickly through the zodiac and under most conditions, these transits do not overly affect us and usually only impact us for quite a very short periods of time.

The outer planets and retrograde planets passing over sensitive points in our birth chart, particularly the Ascendant and the Midheaven can have profound effects on our lives and often point towards turning points or significant life events that can alter our perception or instigate action that changes our perceptions and sometimes point towards alterations in our lives. 

The most powerful transit is a transiting planet conjuncting a natal sensitive point or planetary body.  The energies of the planet and points merge and become one.  Under most conditions, the life circumstances intensify what these energies are linking together and the areas of life influenced will be reflected by the areas where these planets are located in the birth chart.  The houses are areas of life and the transiting planet will intensify these points and may produce profound life altering effects especially when several transiting planets are saying something similar in the chart.

The outer planets can be within their orb of influence for up to two to three years depending on when and how frequently they go into retrograde motion and when they become direct again.  The first impact when a transiting planet makes an important aspect to another planet and makes a direct aspect to a natal point or planet will be the strongest.  An example of this might be Saturn conjunction Mars at 15 degree of Aries.  Both planets become direct when the transiting planet is exactly 15 degrees Aries.  This applies to squares, a 90 degree aspect, the opposition, a 180 degree aspect and also the other major aspects--the trine, sextile as well as the minor aspects-- the semi-sextile, the semi-square and so forth.  The major aspects are more significant than the minor aspects, and the challenging aspects usually promote transitional in our lives.

There are several progressed aspects that are also important in determining factors in a birth chart and the potential for change in a person’s life.  We will look at the progressions at a later date.  Progressions are more of an internally influence in their nature.  Astrologers use the progressed Moon, transiting Mars as well as the transiting Sun and transiting Uranus as timers, as they often produce a push that activates the energies of the outer planets and often signifies an event or culmination producing internal insight.

This is but a brief description on how to delineate potential life events as well as the timing as to when these events may unfold.  The area of life affected will be described by the houses involved in the transit or progression, as well as the natal placement of the transiting planets by aspect and house placement. 

With this post, we are only touching on information and this will only offers a little insight into understanding how to decipher potential events in the future.

SYNCHRONICITIES

Have you ever been through a traumatic life event and wondered how life could ever come together again and have meaning? 

How often have you been through transformations like a marriage breakup, critical health concerns, a family member’s death?  Have you ever felt as though these events were needed to produce some required changes to your life?  Events such as these undoubtedly created changes in life’s direction, or hopefully a change in attitude about life.

We often know that these life events were meant to be, as they seem to have changed our direction and opened up doors for us that were closed before. 

During trials and tribulations, it is hard not to get caught up in negative responses as we are experiencing these events.  Sometimes while experiencing these events we struggle to find anything positive, but given time to relax and reflect, we often uncover greater meanings to these events.

We can get overly caught up in life events and we are not just suggesting events we view as negative.  Many times life also provides us with transformation through the meeting of important people that seem to come our way just when we need them the most.  Sometimes we are fortunate enough to meet someone who will enter our lives and remain a steady companion and comfort for years to come.  Other times these individuals are only with us for short periods of time, but leave lasting impression on us.  Sometimes these individuals come in the form of siblings or parents and often they come in the form of partners such as spouses which with work these relationships can last a lifetime.

When these events or people come into our lives it is quite amazing how life seems to shift.  Synchronicities occur and we are steered in directions that at first seem so foreign to our minds but so comfortable to our hearts.  With time, these events or “co-incidences” manifest events specific to the current requirements in our lives.  We should never dismiss any events as unimportant and should fully appreciate these synchronicities.  Wonderful life changing events or people who orchestrate them can appear out of nowhere to push us forward on our intended path.

Some say that it was by chance, or it was just one of those things.  Some call it coincidence, but some recognize the synchronicities for what they truly are.  We are on a chosen course from which we may stray from time to time but we always find our way back.  All things happen for a reason.

Life is an intentional path.  Grab hold of your little piece of destiny and stay in tune to the true meaning behind these events.  Nothing is by chance.  Everything has its purpose and each person we meet has their specific place in our lives as we do theirs.

Enjoy each moment without judgement.  Pay heed to the lessons being offered but most of all, do not forget to live!

HOW ARE YOUR CHOICES AFFECTING YOU?

Are you stuck on trying to maintain what used to be?  Are you having a difficult time moving forward in a new direction?  Has your life changed so significantly that it no longer feels like your own? 

It is certainly true that life does take unexpected turns and we have to learn the art of adapting to these conditions.  As challenging as it may seem, these new found circumstances are put in place for us to learn from and adjust to.

We are not at the mercy of life, even though at times it may feel that we are.  Life does seem to carry us off our anticipated route from time to time.  We need to acknowledge that these twists and turns are actually in place for a reason.  There is always a purpose behind any action or event.  We simply have to adjust to these new sets of conditions and accept the new journey.

This might sound easy but without faith in the process, acceptance can be a very difficult task. 

We are resilient and even when faced with adversity, we can adapt and grow regardless of the obstacles.  We can adjust to life’s conditions unless we fight the process.  This decision IS in our hands.  The choice we have is to mentally accept and build from what is at hand, or mentally challenge things that are out of our hands?  If you choose growth and happiness, your choice has already been made.

Our choices are not at the mercy of life.  We should focus our attention on the new things entering into our lives.  Look at the deeper meanings behind each event.  In most cases, the lessons are obvious but in some cases, we will have to dig a little deeper to find the “why” behind the way life is unfolding.  Sometimes no matter how much we search, we may not be able to uncover or comprehend the true lesson through our human thought process.

Patience is often a repercussion, and we learn this valuable lesson frequently in life.  We are naturally restless and inquisitive.  We usually want answers immediately and sometimes it just does not happen that way.  In these times, it is best to just wait and see.  Watch as the amazing process of life unfolds right in front of us.  Life is miraculous and mysterious-- always intriguing.   With faith, let life lead and acknowledge that it always works out for the best, regardless of our preconceived notions.  We just have to have the vision to see life and its events as they truly are.

Sometimes life can appear tainted, and events and our path appear unclear.  When there seems to be no appropriate resolution at hand, you just might have to wait for an answer or sign to point you in the right direction.  Asking for assistance from the higher sources or seeking professional support in times of need is not only appropriate but advised. 

Sometimes we just need a tender hand or the right words to push us in the correct direction.  We can ask for direction, but do not expect others to make the decisions for us.  We are always the one that makes the final decision.  The ultimate decision is ours.  We have whatever resources are required at hand.  Life always opens up to us when the time is right.  Have faith.  Seek the positive in all things.  Know that life unfolds exactly as it should.

Sun in Cancer

The Sun moves into the sign of Cancer today, June 22, this year.  Anyone with their Sun in this position, strong planetary influences in the fourth house, Sun in the fourth house and the rising sign in Cancer should resonate with this post.

The Sun Sign represents who we are on the inside and, among other things, has to do with our identity and the way we assimilate into our earthly existence.  The Ascendant or rising sign is an expression of who we are on the outside and how others see us.  Keeping this in mind and understanding the difference between the Ascendant and the Sun personalities.  Anyone with strong Cancer tendencies feels their way through life.  They may not rationalize everything as Virgo might or philosophize about life as a Sagittarius might.  They are attached to the emotions and use their sensitivity to process life’s events.

As children, they are usually very helpful, wishing to please and sensitive to their environment.  Much harm can be caused to their development if there is strife within the family unit or in the home environment when they are children.  They need loving tenderness and should be allowed to explore their great sensitivity at an early age and not be shut down for their emotional makeup.  This teaches them to understand their own emotional temperament and will assist them as they mature into themselves over time. 

If there are any psychic tendencies at a young age, these tendencies should be reinforced.  Cancer children should be allowed to explore this side of their nature rather than being forced to shut them down and told that what they feel is not real.  

Cancer individuals are very attached to the home environment and will go out of their way to make it a pleasing retreat, where they can extend their nurturing charisma and provide warmth and comfort for those that matter to them.  They also need this place to recharge their emotional batteries and ready self for another day of emotional experiences.  Their home is where they feel safe and comfortable.  Cancerians enjoys entertaining and love to prepare a special meal.  The home environment is extremely important and any strife will not go unnoticed.

The sensitivity that is so inherent within this group of unique individuals can become their greatest asset as time passes if encouraged or become their weakest element if self-expression is hindered. 

Anyone with strong Cancer tendencies should open the door to their sensitivity and allow their Cancer tendencies.  Cancer individuals need to find their personal expression for this very sensitive sign.

Healing From the Spirit

Although many people use alternative healing modalities, there are still many who are uncomfortable or do not understand these alternative practices.  The majority of healing practices are carried out with the help of physicians who prescribe drugs that have positive effects on the symptoms of our ailments. 

Many with serious illness reap the rewards of these drugs through prolong life as well as being able to cope more easily with pain, be it physical or mental pain.  It should be pointed out however that much of our healing takes place on a subconscious level as well.  We must believe that we will recover in order for recovery to take place.  This belief can be as simple as faith in your physician.

Cancer was once known as the dreaded disease and when we were diagnosed with this illness, it was almost always a certain death sentence.  Modern medicine has come a long way since the early days and has certainly saved many lives and prolonged many more. 

There are also alternate healing methods available to us, such as positive thinking.  Our attitude is proven to have profound effects on those with serious illnesses, including cancer.  Another examples of healing modalities is Reiki.  Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the Reiki practitioner channels energy into the patient by means of touch or laying of hands to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being by doing so.  Other examples are stone therapy, EFT, homeopathy, yoga and the list goes on.  Some of these modalities have been with us for several thousand years and still hold a significant place in our world.  We must first heal the spirit in order to heal the body.

As we mature into our life and begin to understand the power of the mind, we learn to channel our energies into more wholesome, positive avenues of expression.  Many have come to terms with the understanding that we create our world through our thought process and belief structure.  The strength of this manifestation unfolds as we continue our path towards attaining full understanding and practice in our daily lives.

 

We learn to focus our attention on positive affirmations and practice a more deliberate mental focus the more we practice these techniques.   We are learning our art and we are unfolding as the healing takes place.  Positive reinforcement and following peaceful practices, such as meditation, have not only opened up channels to the metaphysical and psychic realms, but also spreads to and is reflected in our physical bodies.

It is with wonder that we think about the future of mankind as we practices these modalities.  Where will our future brothers and sisters be in one hundred years from now?  How much of our healing practice will advance during that time?  How will medicine be altered because of these practices? What will the future hold?

Life is an ongoing story, unfolding each and every minute.  It is ever expanding our consciousness and allowing us to uncover our hidden talents and abilities that have been waiting to be discovered.  Listen to the little voice within and follow its guidance.  Where will it takes us?

Transiting Uranus Aspecting Natal Pluto Part II

We continue our post from June 16 concerning transiting Uranus aspecting natal Pluto.  We left off discussing the square and will continue from there.

This is a growth aspect and along with the transformations and uprooting of information that takes place, many will go through drama that changes their lives forever.  Once you cross that line of resistance there is usually no turning back.  Change on some level is underway and it is best to allow the seeds of change to manifest in your life.  The road to change is not always an easy one, but is a required route to follow to ensure growth.

Oppositions usually involve other people and may indicate divorce or challenging conditions within the framework of a relationship.  This could also involve partnership in business or aggressive interaction with people in authority positions.  This might be our parents on some level of interaction or other people that come into your life during this period of transmutation.  This aspect could indicate the termination of an elder’s life as this opposition usually comes later in life.

Adapting to any life conditions reflected by these various aspects is usually quite difficult although the trine is easier and allows for more flow into the events taking hold in your life.  These changes however are necessary and the desire to break free and start anew is quite common under these conditions.  Often because of the quick and unexpected nature of Uranus and these transpiring events, we are not even allowed time for preparation and the events happen in the spur of the moment.

This could also be a time when one should be careful in operating any motorized vehicle and although this could be a dangerous combination, there would have to be other indicators in the chart to point in this direction of an accident.  Being cautious and taking your time while operating a motorized vehicle is suggested during the highest influence of these planetary energies. (Within one degree of being exact)

The understanding and knowledge gained during these periods of transformation are second to none and this is a period when you should be open to anything new coming into your life.  This could include becoming involved with groups of people with like-minded attitudes to life. 

The occult and mystical practices are often quite apparent during these influences and often doors open where they were previously closed.  This could be an enlightening period and the exchange of information can be highly inspirational.  Stay open to anything new coming into your life at this time.  This trine, square or opposition does not happen more than once in your life so take heed to the valuable lessons being sent your way.  Stay open to instruction and be prepared for something new to enter and enlighten your life.

WHO ARE YOU?

When you show your face to the world, remove the mask of who others think you should be.  A masked appearance does not validate the true you and although you may feel that the pleasing you is how you should present yourself to others, the real you flows much more naturally.

 

Some individuals feel that they should act accordingly to those that surround them and change their demeanour to suit the occasion.  You are who you are, and the best person you could possibly be is the genuine you.  As we age, we slowly become more comfortable with the true person we show to the world.  Nothing is fictitious and we radiate that which is perfectly genuine and this should not alter.

When you openly present yourself, there are no pretenses, and you emit a comfortable aura that others easily pick up on.  You will be confident and nothing has to be hidden or altered.  You are who you are and this is who you are supposed to be.   You are not a conjured up image that constantly wavers to fit the occasion.  Being the true you provide a great sense of assuredness that cannot be found by role playing other personalities.

You are all of the wonderful characteristics that you allow yourself to be, and you only need to recognize this within yourself.  All the qualities that you wish you were are already a part of you.  You are constantly tweaking these characteristics and ultimately you will be exactly who you want it to be. 

Any trait that offends you or makes you uncomfortable is not the true internal you.  You recognize these characteristics and just let them go.  Holding on to negative impressions of self only facilitates inner turmoil.  If you do not own these characteristics, they are not a part of you and you can simply let them go. 

If you choose to identify with positive characteristics, you build on the positive.  What you believe and focus on becomes your reality.  Why would we not want to focus on the positive? 

The real loving you is the most positive individual you could possibly be.  There is no limit to the wonderful qualities you possess.  The only limits you have on life are the ones you place on yourself.  Release the limitations you put in place to move forward with the realization of who you genuinely are.

Transiting Uranus Aspecting Natal Pluto Part I

Transiting Uranus moved into the sign of Aries without going retrograde again in March of 2011.  It will remain in Aries until May of 2018.  Uranus stays in one sign for approximately 7 years and has a total cycle of 84 years until it returns to its natal position.  Uranus has an orb (or influence) of about 5 degrees when approaching.  Its dissipating influence, after it has passed being direct, affects us until it is about 2-3 degree past the separating angle or planet.  Although its influence lasts this long, it often takes a year or two to understand the ramifications of what its full affects were when it was making the last aspect.

Uranus has a strong desire to influence some important change in your life and this could amount to a total life change of direction or a desire to break free of restrictions that have stood in your way for some time.  Pluto deals with uncovering truths and going beneath the surface and then fostering transformation on many levels of influence. 

We will look at the various aspects possible between these two planets.

When deciphering the trine between transiting Uranus and natal Pluto, it is important to take into consideration the nature of the aspect (the trine suggests easy, unobstructed flow of energies), the houses that transiting Uranus is moving through, the house it occupies in the birth chart, the house natal Pluto is located in and the cusp which is ruled by Uranus (Aquarius).  These areas will all come into play when deciphering the potential desire for freedom, the transformations taking hold and the areas of life involved.

Uranus trine Pluto is suggestive of coming to terms with a clearer and more precise understanding of your true inner nature.  Uranus and Pluto are both planetary energies linked to higher learning and the unfolding of a comprehensive understanding in the areas of life that are dictated by the house placements involved.  Pluto along with Uranus will insist that you have an honest look at your life and how you have been living it.  You will then be able to reach viable conclusions and come to terms with what needs adjusting.  This process is often quite painful and many people will try to alleviate these conditions by turning their backs on what needs to take place.  These self-examinations are needed in order to achieve a greater understanding of the conditions in your life and what needs transformation and should not be ignored.

These pressing matters are not easy to ignore and also should not be, as a confrontation is at hand.  Without that confrontation, there can be no conscious evolution which is what this process is all about.  It may deal with levels of understanding where religious doctrines or belief structures will undergo changes in order to facilitate a new direction in life on some level of expression.  The trine moves things along and offers a relative easy confrontational period where a resolution can be reached without too much difficulty.

Honesty with our selves is of utmost importance for we cannot escape the truth and the inevitable usually occurs on some level or another.  

The square on the other hand works under much more challenging conditions than a trine.  The square usually suggests an ending of sorts before a new beginning can occur.  Pluto is all about the rising up of something that has come from a place of deep internal reflection and is now ready to come to the surface with new light and a knowledge that may not have been present before this aspect took hold.  Inaction is not advised as, consciously or not, this is a time for reflection, investigation and then movement in directions that are not always apparent, especially in the beginning of the process.

Venturing into the Unknown

Venturing into the unknown is often a difficult move for most of us.  Our minds tend to go down roads that bring forth bothersome outlooks for situation that could be exciting and progressive.  In general, when we are experiencing stages in our lives that have no foreseeable guaranteed outcome, we are unsettled which in turn can push us to self-reflect and possibly create alternative routes for life ahead.

Even these changes we make can create more mental anguish.  We are creatures of habit and for most change can be frightening.  We must remind ourselves, however, that change although stressful can maximize the positive potentials available to us.  We make choices along the way and must challenge our mind’s interference.  Without change, we can be avoiding the most potentially fruitful outcomes possible in our lives.

Initially change can be difficult especially when we allow our minds to wander and we lose focus of our objectives.  Recognize this for what it is as it is generated from our ego.  Ego can lead us astray and completely stifle our progress if we allow it to.

Focusing on the deeper level “why” of every event and ask for guidance for this will often lead to uncovering challenges that we need to confront within ourselves.  What is it that life is trying to teach us and what can we do to reach the outcome that is necessary.  Often the answer is right in front of us, but we are unwilling to see it in its clearest form. 

We try to disassociate ourselves from change.  Perhaps the changes that are necessary are difficult to accept.  Perhaps we simply need to change our focus and view our lives in a different manner.  Attitude is often the first change required.  While this is often the initial stage of the experience, we may have to challenge parts of ourselves and come to terms with issues that are buried within that need to surface or be faced.  These may stem from childhood experiences or some traumatic life experience that is still somehow holding us in its grip.

Realizing and accepting ego’s interference often removes obstacles and once we note ego’s intentions, we can alter our focus and attitude.  We then can move in a different direction without fear.  We always choose which road to follow, whether it is conscious or subconscious.  Sometimes letting go of fear of potential outcomes is the best route to take.  “Letting go and letting God” is often the best route.  We do have to own our attitude and our outlook however.

Move through these changes with the anticipation of truth and growth.  Stay open to suggestion coming through from other channels.  There is always assistance available with our choices.  We are never at the mercy of life.  Attitude and belief structure dictate much of what will take place.  Stay open!  Remain positive and know that you are never alone in your quest for truth and clarity.

Shedding Light with Astrology

Early Influences

The circumstances of our lives when we were young usually have a major influence on whom we are as we age.  Our parents and the love we received have a huge impact on the way we present ourselves late in life.  If we felt neglected in our early years, it would not be uncommon for us to feel as though we are not worthy of love now or perhaps that love is missing in our lives now.  We could actually now have difficulty expressing love to self and others.

If we were appreciated and given praise for our achievements in our early years, we are far more likely to be self-assured, self-confident and able to move forward in life with enthusiasm.  We believe in ourselves. Because of this, in many cases, those that received support on many levels are the ones that seem to make much more progress in life.

There are exceptions to this however.  There are still individuals that struggle even though they were provided with much support in their formative years and there are those that forge ahead and excel in life although they were provided with very little reinforcement in their early years.  This suggests that our concepts or beliefs also play a part in how we move forward in our lives regardless of the influences in our early lives.  At the very least, we are able to move beyond these influences through effort and work.

There are many who feel at the mercy of life and believe that they are just pawns in the process.  These individuals glide along life’s path offering little resistance to what they call fate.  They feel as though life creates all that they experience and that they can do little to change things as they are dictated to by circumstances.

There are also those that will fight for what they believe in throughout their lives and will not let life’s circumstances get them down.  They push forward with conviction even under the harshest of conditions and do not let those conditions control their reaction to life.  These are the people who are motivated in life.  We can learn much from their example. 

We are only victims of circumstances if we so allow.  We are continually offered opportunities to take life by the horns.  The secret is to recognize these opportunities.  We do not have to lie dormant nor do we have to fear involvement. 

Our early influences can affect us, if we care to carry these events forward emotionally, but we can shake away the chains of the past to make any necessary changes for our current path.  It does takes some courage to move forward but it only stands to reason that if others can push through these barriers, we too can also find it within ourselves to do the same.

It just might be time to push through these past influences that have stood in our way.  It just might be time to change our belief structures and release any challenging conditions that are based on mental focus.  It just might be time to begin a new with strength and resolve that can be found within. 

Take whatever steps are necessary but most of all believe in self.  Fear nothing but fear itself.  Fear is your greatest enemy if fed but certainly surmountable if challenged.

Ages 34 to 38 in Astrology

This post pertains to those of you that are between the ages of 34-38.  If you are over these ages, how did this period affect you?  For those of you that are younger, here is a little insight for you.

At roughly 36, we all experience the third Jupiter return (it takes approximately 12 years to complete a cycle) as well as Saturn square to itself natally.  These returns bring a period into our lives that inspire a growth spurt.  Whether this opportunity encourages growth on a spiritual level or a material level, or both will be reflected in the natal position of Jupiter and Saturn in your chart.  For example, there could be material growth (second house energies) occupational growth (tenth house) or spiritual growth (twelfth house) to name just a few.

You are provided with opportunities to review your life and the belief structures that you have taken on for yourself.  This is a period when you are able to improve your attitudes towards life.  In general, you will learn more about yourself and how you fit into the world around you.  Often times there are transformations that take place in your life’s path during this period.  These transformations are in direct correlation with whatever mature outlook you have developing throughout the years.

There is a pronounced sense of freedom and new beginnings taking place in your life that offer opportunities where you believe you have vested rights and can now comfortably move into your future.  You are developing a stronger sense of self-confidence and are beginning to understand that your life is in your hands.  There is a revitalisation taking place where you are now able to review your fundamental beliefs and move forward with more confidence than before.  There is a new sense of direction and it comes from deep within your core.  You are beginning to understand that the best educator in your life’s journey comes from within.

During this same time frame, you have the Saturn transit affecting you as well.  This is a very organizational transit and it is as vital as Jupiter’s energies are ever-expanding.  Saturn keeps things in prospective.  Saturn requires you to set parameters and boundaries on a new found freedom.  Saturn helps to unify and merge these new found optimistic attitudes and self-knowledge, offering some restraint so that you have the opportunity to find your true potential without going beyond your limits.  The conflicts often accompanied with these two opposing forces are arbitrated directly by you.  There is very little outside influence.  You and you alone are in control.

Choose Your Thoughts Wisely

If we allow ourselves a few moments to reflect on who we are, what do you see?  How does this vision fit into your perceived notions of who you are? 

Take note of who you “think” you are.  Now disassociate yourself from any preconceived notions that lead to a negative approach or to what others have suggested that you are.  Focus on your true personality.  We become magnified reflections of what we choose to identify with.  We slowly materialize our perceptions and make them part of our identity.  We can be misled by notions of negativity and identify with these notions.  Once we do this, we believe these qualities to be a part of who we are.

We are in a constant state of “becoming” and what we believe to be facets of our identity only gather in strength if we choose to identify with them.  If there is something in our makeup that clearly misrepresents who we want to be, we can make a conscious choice as to whether we will allow it to manifest in physical and mental terms.  We are in control.  We are not at the mercy of any given characteristic, unless of course, we believe that we have no control of what transpires in your life, both internally and externally.

Who you are right now, at this moment, is a formulated concept of what you believe makes up the true you.  You have manufactured this identity and it is your identification with these ideas that makes them real.  I may use the term “identify” over and over again, but if we understand that our identification is what makes it so, we will understand why I use this term so frequently.  This repetition will make us aware of the control we have over situations in our lives and the manifestation of who we are becoming.

If there is something within ourselves that does not sit well within our vision of self, we can let it go.  We can stop believing that it is part of us as we do not have to own it.  We, individually, are the only persons that make anything in life truth, including our identification with concepts of all kinds.  We manifest our reality through our beliefs over time.  What we are and who we are is reflective of the beliefs we have fostered over time.

There is a saying “we become who we associate with” and we are told early in life to pick our friends wisely.   We can take this a giant step forward by saying “we become who we believe we are” and we should choose our thoughts wisely. 

Our focus expands our reality.  Channel your focus on positive attributes and watch this focus materialize.  It is a choice.

Look within and find the beauty that lies there.  Hold on to these qualities.  Let go of anything that does not resonate from your core and release yourself from its grip.  Manifest your own creations on a conscious level.

Ages 54 - 57 in Astrology

Anyone between the ages of 54-57 are now entering the stage of maturity and the ignorance of youth has faded.  You are beginning to see yourself as an integrated whole and no longer just as an extension of others.  You are becoming more clear of who you are as an individual and are comfortable enough that what others think is not that important anymore.  You are who you are and that is just fine.

This is a stage when you are more concerned about life itself than trying to living up to other people’s expectations.  You are forming relationships that make you whole.  You have come to a point where you basically know yourself and are liberated with this knowledge.  Relationships still have a place in your heart, some even deeper than anything experienced previously, but you can rid yourself of unwanted or draining relationships if this is what you need to do.  This is not to say that you have become cold or uncaring; quite the opposite.  You are beginning to understand what it is that you need and will form more meaningful relationships in order to build on this.

This period is all about self-fulfillment and self-honesty.  If you have been working well within these boundaries and living your life through generosity and love, you are well on your way to a more rewarding and a satisfying life.  You are on your way to the second Saturn return and you undoubtedly remember your first Saturn return around the age of 30, when you experienced life’s events to the fullest and matured immensely after going through a period of transformation on many levels.

There are several astrological factors that are in affect during this time period.  You will be experiencing the second progressed lunar return, which in short speaks of emotionally coming of age.  You will also be going through the Uranus trine Uranus transit, which is usually accompanied with excitement and the beginning of something new.  Neptune is also in trine to its natal position, helping you gain a more realistic point of view on where your life is heading.  For many, Pluto is also making a trine to its natal position which could be termed as a transformational life period when we taps into our true core.  You are also going through the third nodal return at this time which is directed towards a reorientation within and a clearer focus on life’s direction.

These astrological transformations taking place during this time frame usually signify a deep transformations taking place on many different levels.  Explaining these fluctuations is basically impossible to put into words in such a short post, but you now have an idea why life is going through changes on so many levels.

Enjoy the transformations taking place in your life and prepare for the next major transition to unfold as you enter the last few years of your fifties.  This marks the beginning of the second Saturn return. Many at this age will experience huge transformations.  Some contemplate retirement while others begin something new.  One thing is for certain, this will be a fruitful time and everything begins to materialize and gather momentum as you move towards this second Saturn return.

This is a high point in life and you are entering into what many call “the awakening of self” period in life.  Stay tuned to the higher frequencies that exist in life and enjoy your unfolding.
