BLUE MOON OCTOBER 31, 2020

 We will be experiencing a Blue Moon (rare second full moon on the month) in the sign of Taurus on October 31, 2020 at 10:49 a.m. EDT.  This Full Moon’s sign is (Taurus) a very stable and reliable sign, indicative of security and steadiness especially related to earthly matters.  This would include the financial institutions, building and maintenance, the structures that have been put in place to create composure and reliability in worldly matters.  Taurus can be counted on to create stability and structure, working towards a slow and steady approach to goals that will stand the test of time. 

 

The Full Moon is at 8 degrees Taurus.  Transiting Uranus on this date will be conjunct the Full Moon out only by 8 minutes.  This is considered a very powerful and tight conjunction and Uranus is known for its erratic behavior.  Uranus has to do with the need to break free of any form of restrictions and pushes ahead to make sudden and often unexpected changes towards reform and new horizons.  Uranus is not at home in the sign of Taurus and is in its Fall when it comes to dignities in Astrology.  Here is a link with a little more information on the dignities  www.holmastrology.blogspot.com/2014/04/exaltation-detriment-and-fall.html

 

This means that Uranus in the sign of Taurus is a place where you have to work harder to overcome Taurus tendencies.  The reliability of Taurus and the unpredictable behavior of Uranus are at odds with one another.  Over time disruption to the norm can be expected although over the long haul and although different from what we are accustomed to, this change will be what is required.

 

Disruption to the economy is currently a world matters.  Some form of rebellion and upheaval can also be forecasted, but over time this new foundation is what will be required in order to move in the proper direction putting us back on a more enlightened path.

 

A Full Moon’s energies speak of the culmination of events that have taken place during the New Moon cycle some six months ago.  What was begun when the New Moon was in Taurus will now be at its finishing point and the harvest of what was begun at that time now reaches fruition. 

 

On a personal level check to see which houses are involved as the Sun and Moon are in opposition although the Full Moon is more indicative of the Lunar placement.  This will be the area of life that is personally affected at this time and you can expect changes to take place, particularly so if you have planets making conjunctions or oppositions along with squares and to a lesser degree trines and sextiles to this placement (Taurus 8 degrees).

DO NOT LOSE TRACK OF WHO YOU ARE

We have been told that some individuals are finding it hard to stay in touch with their identity during stressful times. 

 

You will never lose track of who you are, but you might find you feel you are off track from time to time.

 

There will be times when we lose track but with a little nudge, we are reminded of not only who we are but what our path in life truly is.  These two go hand in hand.

ARE THERE ASTROLOGY SIGNS THAT ARE MORE EVOLVED?

 It has been brought to our attention that there is a general misconception about the evolutionary state of some Astrology signs. 

 

Is one Astrology sign more evolved than the next?    

 

We have also been asked by individuals who believe in the potential of reincarnation if our spiritual being (the sum of what we are) follows any type of pattern as to which Astrology sun signs a soul would be born under in each lifetime?

 

In this Astrologer’s opinion (and I would appreciate further input from other Astrologers) there are no particular signs that hold a higher evolutionary path.  This is not to say that an evolved Pisces or Sagittarius or even Aquarius might not seem more evolved spiritually during this incarnation than for example an unevolved Scorpio, or ego-oriented Aries.  As suggested by this statement each sign carries with it a wide range of evolutionary characteristics and an evolved Aries could easily surpass an unevolved or even evolved Pisces if the Aries’ focus is on evolutionary development.

 

Some believe that we come into this life with a particular purpose and the North Node, our Sun Sign and Ascendant play a significant role in indicating this particular path.  The other planetary positions add to this process and aid us in our evolutionary quest.  Each individual has chosen a path found within the planetary energies regardless of the timeframe to teach them or activate some tool that can lead to the clearest path in resolving or identifying what that soul is in search of. 

 

The soul may choose to come back in what may appear to be a complete state that lacks spiritual development and what appears to be a very primal stage but this state may be exactly what is needed to accomplish what this specific individual needs to experience to develop and grow.   This does not mean that they are unevolved in a spiritual sense, only that it appears as though they are lacking development in this specific lifetime.

 

There are also those that appear evolved in this quest and are doing their part to assist others in their evolution.  These very participatory individuals may be far less evolved than the previous individual just discussed. 

 

As human beings, we undoubtedly do not understand what soul evolution truly is.  We have a preconceived notion of what we believe.  Some individuals seem to have reached this state of enlightenment in this life, but we are really at the mercy of our own beliefs and truly have limited knowledge to base our judgments on.

 

Is the ability to love unconditionally an indicator of true development? 

 

We all have our gifts and we are all meant to share them with others.  What I have not learned, you may be completely understanding but what my soul has learned, you may just be beginning.  We are all evolved souls on some level.

 

Some people believe that there are many stages of evolution within each Astrological sign.  

 

It is currently believed that many evolved souls have come back at this time to help with the transition taking place in our world and although they may have moved ahead easier or bolted forward in an evolutionary way by choosing a different life, they have chosen to return at this point in time as there is essential work to be done.

 

On some level, we are all participating in this evolution.  We are the forerunners in this specific stage in human evolution as a whole and have been set in motion to activate the growth now require.

 

Is there an evolved sign of the zodiac? 

 

I will leave that for you to decide.  We can focus on our own development and ensure we are doing what we need to do to grow within our own evolutionary story.

WHAT ARE OUR OPTIONS?

When you feel backed into a corner and it feels as though there are no options available, that is often when something comes along unexpectedly, out of the blue, and offers a different path. 

 

When this unexpected option surfaces, you ask yourself why you never thought of this before.  You may realize that you were so wrapped up in the surrounding conditions that you were blind to new ways of looking at things.  It happens when we get caught up in life’s circumstances, especially when our options seem limited. 

 

Where did this new option come from? 

 

If you can’t figure this out just let it go.  It is not that important to find the reasoning behind how and what took place; but now, suddenly, you have options and different paths to take if you choose to.  Things seem to change in an instant and your whole outlook goes through a transformation.

 

When things seemed to be at their bleakest, we are forced to let to.  We can become so entwined in what we are facing that we are blind to anything else.  We must be able to separate ourselves from events and look at situations from a different perspective and the door to new opportunities opens.

 

Do not allow negativity to have rule over life.  There are always options.  You just have to be open to them.  In the worst of conditions, circumstances can magically turn themselves around. 

 

Enjoy life’s ride no matter how rough and know that something rewarding is just around the next corner.

MOON’S NODES, Part II

We are continuing our post from October 23, 2020.

 

As mentioned in our previous post, there are two Moon’s Nodes in Astrology, the North Node and the South Node.  In the previous post, we touched on the energies of the Nodes and their meanings. Today we will dig a little deeper and look at examples on how the energies would work.

 

When a transiting planet conjuncts the North Node and if for example, it were Uranus, this may be a time when you should follow the desire to break free from any type of restriction that has held you back or stopped you from achieving what the North Node’s energies are suggesting. Because of the transiting Uranus’ influence, this may happen on the spur of the moment and without warning. It may push you in a direction that requires immediate decision-making and the desire for something new and innovative especially if the North Node were in the sign of Aries for example.

 

If Uranus were transiting your South Node, this would suggest that it is not the time to do these things and that you should weigh out all consequences before making any commitment to change and taking a new life direction. It may be a warning that sudden decisions might hamper you later in life. Rash decision making would not be recommended under this example. This example is suggesting  that you time to ponder your actions before making any moves regardless of the desire or urge to move ahead in a new direction.

 

You always have to check the house that your North Node and South Node are located in to give you further information about what areas of life are involved. You should also check which house your natal Uranus is in to add to the underlying information being provided to you through your birth chart (with this example of transiting Uranus making an aspect).

 

With the example of Uranus making contact with the South Node, if you take the time suggested (and remember the South Node has similarities to Saturn’s actions) you can make informed decisions rather than jumping, which is what Uranus would want from you in our example.

 

The North Node and Uranus however, would suggest that you take that giant step forward and move towards the intended direction, as the North Node is similar in its action to Jupiter and usually provides good fortune and positive outcomes.

 

Of course, you always need to look at the overall picture of what is happening in your chart before making any life-changing decisions. Rash decisions are seldom a good idea.

MOON'S NODES - Part I

There are two Moon’s Nodes in Astrology, the North Node and the South Node.

 

The North Node is tied to your life’s direction and the purpose behind this existence.

 

The South Node speaks about a past life significant to this life and/or an area of life that is comfortable because it is natural or familiar to us. Although the South Node is not the path you are to follow in this life, it does not suggest that you should steer clear of the South Node’s impact in your life, as you can use the gained knowledge from the previous incarnation to help you with your current journey. I know some individuals do not believe in past lives so think of the South Node as the talents that come natural to you.

 

We have come into this life to follow the path set out by the North Node and its energies are defined by the sign, house placement, and aspects from other planets or angles to the Nodes.

 

The South Node supplies us with valuable information that we have brought with us which we can utilize in this life. These are the things or information, as mentioned, that just simply come very natural to us. Falling back into the South Node’s energies indicated by its sign and house position may feel comfortable, but we have come to fulfill the purpose of the North Node position. Throughout our life, we will find that events push us in the direction of our North Node energies.

 

The planetary links to the North Node along with any angles (our Ascendant, the MC, the IC, and the DC) that might be tied to the North Node are something that we need to bring forward in this life and learn to use these energies to our advantage. The North Node is said to have similarities to the Sun and Jupiter while the South Node has connections to Saturn.

 

The planets and the aspects that link up to these two Nodes should be treated in the same manner as any other planetary energy in the natal chart. The planetary energies tie in with the Nodes and emphasize what these energies are about, which includes the angles as mentioned earlier.

 

For example, Mars tied to the South Node may indicate that in a previous life we were a fighter or someone with a vile temper, or a leader who governed through dictatorship or force. The North Node tied to Mars may suggest similar conditions and that in this life we are to pursue our objectives with vigor and use our inherent strength to accomplish what we have set out to do. Mars would provide us with the push to address what the sign and house position of the North Node suggests. However, any forceful or aggressive attempts at power are not suggested.

BROTHERS AND SISTER OF OUR WORLD

 It might be a productive idea to raise our shared consciousness and focus our attention in one direction.  Our world would be my choice, and I specify “Our World”, because this is one thing we all have in common.  Our world and its inhabitants all seem to currently be under duress.  Our world and each and every one of its inhabitants need some assistance for recovery. 

 

Our hope is to have as many people from all walks of life in as many countries as possible to join as one in the name of love and healing. 

 

We would like to set this joint effort up regardless of where you live, so that the energies come together.

 

We can utilize this time to share love, love that surrounds us even when we cannot feel it.  It does not matter how we spread this message of love, as long as we share it.

 

What better focus or intent than to make our world a better place for every living creature and to recognize this as important. 

 

Focus your attention not towards healing as this implies or places your focus on a state of the opposite of wellbeing.   We want to focus on a world that is healed, not a faltering one.  We ask that you think in terms of everything that we think needs doing is already done.  This will bring more of the same.  This brings light and love to everyone and everything that is part of our earthly journey.

SUN TRANSITS INTO THE SIGN OF SCORPIO, OCTOBER 22, 2020

On October 22, 2020, the Sun moves into the sign of Scorpio.  Scorpio is a fixed, water sign and it is ruled by the planet Pluto, and co-ruled by Mars.  As mentioned, Scorpio is a fixed sign suggesting that once a Scorpio individual makes up their mind about something, they will not be swayed.  There is a certain amount of power and intensity in the average Scorpio although they are often quiet and subdued.  Scorpio is a water sign suggesting that although the emotions are generally kept under wraps, they are very deep and highly emotional, even explosive under the right conditions.

 

There is a great interest in life’s hidden matters, and this includes any mystery, anything that lies beneath the surface and many Scorpio individuals find the occult and spiritual realms fascinating.  They are truth seekers and will stop at nothing when digging below the surface to find what they are looking for. 

 

These individuals are quite secretive and there is always something within that they are unwilling to share.  Some are interested in what could be termed taboo.  Sex, death and the afterlife hold great appeal for them.

 

They are ruled by the planet Pluto and Pluto provides great recuperative abilities.  Pluto rules the underworld and is often found quite active in charts during times of death and aggression. 

 

Many Scorpio individual have great strength and endurance.  These individuals want answers and will stop at nothing and often can depend on their innate abilities linked to the psychic realm and subconscious.

 

Transiting Pluto and Saturn are currently in the sign of Capricorn making a sextile to those with their Sun in Scorpio in the later degrees.  Pluto transforms and regenerates and adds intensity and when connected to the Sun in Scorpio individual, (such as currently) will change the course of life’s path offering opportunities to build towards something of significance but only after these Scorpio individuals leave behind what no longer serves them. 

 

Pluto always puts an end to things as something new needs to begin.  In most cases, there are no halfway measures.  It is all or nothing.  By December 2020, Saturn moves into the sign Aquarius and forms a square to those with their Sun in Scorpio in the early degrees.  This is a much more challenging position than when Saturn makes a sextile.

 

Transiting Neptune is in Pisces trine to those with their Sun in Scorpio in the mid to late degrees of Scorpio.  Neptune is located currently (October 2020) at 18 degrees Pisces and remains between 18-23 degrees into 2022.  This trine aspect suggests that the potential for spiritual insight and potential visitations from the other side would have a much easier flowing than normal.  Those with this aspect should open the door, if so inclined, and seek out the truth behind the mysteries of life.

 

Use these energies, Scorpio, to help gain insight into yourself and other worldly things during these connections.  Be ready for transformations and those experiencing the Saturn contact, be prepared for a testing period.
