GEMINI NEW MOON MAY 30, 2022

The New Moon today May 30, 2022 was direct at 7:30 a.m. It is not in aspect from any other transiting planetary position. This suggests that the full energy of this conjunction between the Sun and Moon is unharnessed. However, within each personal natal chart other natal positions will have an impact on the positioning of the New Moon. This is especially true for the conjunction and opposition that is within 3 degrees of the Gemini Moon at 9°. Other major aspects (including the square, trine, and sextile) also play roles in the energies of the New Moon.

 

Remember the natal chart always tells the unfolding story and transits will activate the energies in place in the birth chart. The New Moon suggests beginning of a new cycle. It is a time for change and to reflect on the past and any mistakes or wrong turns you may have taken. Change often takes hold so it is important to set new goals which are realistic and have the potential to manifest. Your intensions lead to solidification and the potential can lead to achievement if the necessary effort is given.

 

These new beginning can speak of relationships although caution should be taken especially with Gemini tending to move too quickly without proper consideration. It can also have to do with personal projects or occupation. It can speak of spiritual involvement and the practice of meditation and reflection.

 

Gemini has to do with open communication and intellectual pursuits. This can involve schooling, teaching, reading and conversation on a great many topics. This can be an inward experience and a time of contemplation and reflection. With the New Moon in the sign of Gemini (a mutable air sign) open conversation and clear dialogue with others is highlighted. T Jupiter @ 3° and Mars@ 4° Aries are in conjunction with one another. This conjunction although not part of the New Moon’s configuration can have an impact if it activates a planetary influence or angle in your chart suggesting that there may be a real push to advance with a general feeling of optimism helping facilitate action which may be required during this lunar phase.

TRANSITS FOR THOSE WITH THEIR SUN IN GEMINI Part Two

On May 20, 2022, we looked at Sun in Gemini or strong characteristic within the birth chart linked with Gemini.

 

On Wednesday, May 25, we focused on some of the influences affecting those with their Sun in Gemini or strong characteristics tied to the Ascendant or other placements in the sign of Gemini. We will, of course, have to find the placements by degree of each planet or angle involved to get a clear picture of how these energies will affect the chart.

 

Today we will continue this focus as there are many planets affecting Gemini currently.

 

As mentioned in our last post Mercury moves into the Sign of Gemini on or about June 14, 2022 and Venus will move into the same sign on or about June 24. Mars then moves into Gemini on August 21.  As you can see those with the Sun or planets and angles in the sign of Gemini will be powerfully exposed to these energies. Conjunctions shape energies, so you will have to take into consideration what the blended energies will suggest and the houses involved, as these are the areas of life involved.

 

T Mars moves into the sign of Gemini on August 21 and remains until March 23, 2023, due to its retrograde motion. Mars is about energy and drive and often suggests advancement or aggressive push to reach what is being sought out. Eg If this conjunction takes place in the 2nd house finances and security issues may be present. If the 9th is involved you may feel the desire for long distance travel, or to learn more about life’s philosophies or religious matters.

 

T Jupiter moves into the sign of Aries on June 11 making a sextile to placements in Gemini suggesting that opportunities may be present. Growth and expansion may be highlighted. Eg This may involve groups, organizations and friends if the 11^th house is involved or if the 3rd is involved perhaps this speaks of speaking engagements, or if the 9th continued education

 

T Saturn is in the sign of Aquarius and remains there until March 2023 making a trine to this positioning perhaps suggesting building a more solid structure in your life that endures the test of time especially if this involves the 10th or 4th houses. Perhaps this has to do with your health and your working environment or co-workers especially so if the 6th house is involved.

 

Once again, these energies are positive in many cases but what we do with the energies provide is what sets life in motion. In many cases if we just sit back and do nothing very little unfolds. It is always in our best interest to take advantage of the energies suggested by the transits in place.

ENVISION A VIBRANT, HIGH ENERGY MOTHER EARTH

Is it not time to raise our joined consciousness and focus attention on a positive direction?

 

Our world and I specify “Our World” (both Mother earth and all the inhabitants sharing her bounty) appears to be under duress.

Mercury (ruled by Gemini) will be influencing our Gemini friends until July 5. Mercury has to do with the mind & communication and at this time will be highlighted. Eg If the influence has to do with the 10th house then the area of occupation, goals, aspirations and life status will be involved. If the 5th is involved then the area of children, romantic involvement and the sheer enjoyment of life will be touched.

 

T Venus will move into Cancer on July 19 so from June 24 to July 18 it moves through Mercury. Venus has to do with love, affection and financial conditions. In some cases, it speaks of a young woman or important female. Eg if the conjunction occurred in the 4th house there could be fortunate changes within the home front or family members. If through the 1st house this will be very personal in nature and you may find love or receive financial improvement especially if the Sun, Jupiter and natal Venus are involved.

TEACHERS OPEN DOORS

 There are several learning tools at our disposal. One tool is our openness to allow others to guide us and another is experiences. We meet many different individuals in life, and they impart their own special information with us. These individuals are teachers or guides in their own right. Some guides can be met through meditation.

 

Although these teachers and guides can open doors and share their awareness, we must make our own decision on if, when, and how we allow this to happen. We are never forced to move in any direction, although there are times when it seems this is the case. Life will present us with choices and events, and we can feel as though we are at their mercy. If this is the case, we are being pushed in a particular direction to observe and learn the lessons we need at that time.

 

There are teachers among us. Some help us simply by being and acting without even having knowledge of what they have sent our way. Children are a perfect example of teachers who provide great inspiration. They share all that they know including their love without hesitation or compensation. They do this quite naturally, never thinking of what might come their way because of these actions. They simply act from the heart. They are teachers in the highest degree.

 

At what point do some individuals decide to make their love conditional or use it as a bargaining tool?

 

Each one of us are teachers and guides. The best teachers are the ones that lead by example. Ensure that your example is a good one.

 

Our guides come in many shapes and forms, but they are always ready to assist if we are willing to ask for their help. We may not always like the answers we get, as sometimes the truth can be difficult to face; but these truths can shed light in dark corners of our being that we do not like to face.

SUN IN GEMINI

The Sun moves into the sign of Gemini on May 20/21, 2022 depending on where you live.

 

Those that have the Sun in Gemini, the Ascendant in Gemini and/or planets located in the third house will have some of the following characteristics, but if you fall into these categories and you find that some of these qualities do not resonate with you, there will be other stronger or mitigating factors in the birth chart that moderate some of these traits.

 

Gemini is the natural ruler of the 3^rd house and is a mutable sign. Those with strong Gemini in their birth charts are versatile and adaptable and find it easy to move from one topic or event to another. They enjoy being on the move and love change and variety in their lives. It takes a lot to keep a typical Gemini entertained for an extended periods of time. If you are trying to find something that stimulates their attention, you will need to activate their busy minds with things that interest them.

 

Geminians love to explore different facets of life. They are adventurous and easily stimulated but many have a short attention span. They need stimuli and variety in life, or they become bored. Geminians are busy people and love to stay on the go. Travel and education are areas of life that hold their attention and you can enjoy your time with them when on vacations and sharing learned knowledge.

You will not have a chance to become bored and can spend much of a conversation listening to what they have to say about information on most any subject. Gemini individuals are intellectual and love conversations on many levels.

THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED OVER

We cannot put into words the emotions felt when we lose a loved one. Even if death follows a lengthy illness, we are never prepared. We are not sure how to deal with the energies and emotions that accompany death. We desperately search for answers and even point fingers as we need someone to blame for our loss, but this is just part of the normal grieving process.

 

How do we move forward?

 

How do we let go of our physical connection with these souls?

 

It can be extremely difficult to adjust to the new norm after a death of a loved one. We struggle to keep them as close to our hearts as possible.

 

Memories are for remembering and to be cherished, but they are just that, memories. We are meant to grieve our losses but we are also meant to live now in this moment.

 

Grief is a very personal experience. Ensure, however, that you have someone to talk to. Expressing your feelings is very important.

 

Those that have passed on do not want us to suffer nor to hold on. They would want us to fulfill our requirements in our own personal journey.

 

People bless our lives by sharing a day, a year, or a lifetime with us. Choose to celebrate the time that was share.

 

Death is not the end. It is more the beginning of true energy. When we have graduated from the school of life, we too will pass from the limitations of our physical experience. In the meantime, we have work to do. We have much to learn and to experience. The experiences and knowledge that we gain over our lifetime is not just for us. We teach by example and help others with their life lessons.

 

While we are here, live in the moment and enjoy those that surround us. We cannot see our thoughts or the air that we breathe, but that does not mean that these do not exist. Those that have left their earthly bodies still walk beside us even though we cannot see them.

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT NATAL JUPITER

Currently Uranus is in the sign of Taurus and has been since March, 2019. It will eventually permanently move into Gemini in April, 2026.

 

Uranus is known as the awakener and stirs activity into areas of life that not only need stimulation but a new direction. Uranus’ action is often abrupt and unexpected; therefore, it often causes unforeseen events to manifest

 

If, for example, you have Uranus moving over the MC you could expect changes in your occupation, your status in life and your aspirations.

 

When Uranus is in Taurus, it sometimes pushes you into uncharted territory and suggests that you move forward in new adventures although Taurus does not enjoy change. This could involve many areas of life, and much will depend on where Uranus is transiting in your chart and which house Uranus is in within the birth chart. This will provide you with some valuable information about where you could expect a desire to break free and to move in new directions. Eg if Uranus were transiting through the 1^st  house and in the natal chart it is located in the 7^th house, the potential for a new relationship or breaking away from an old one which no longer fits your evolution path as an individual has potential to unfold.

 

Uranus conjunct Jupiter is often considered an excellent aspect because of the fortunate nature of Jupiter. In many cases the initial contact could bring possibilities for expansion. Eg This may be in financial terms (2^nd house) or through opportunities for expansion within the working environment (10^th). The initial contact could bring sudden unexpected opportunities where you could move in new directions and quite often experience extensive changes. This could take place through your own initiative, or it could come from outside influences. Regardless of how these changes take place you can be sure that they are meant to move you in an intended direction which will become clearer as time passes.

 

Jupiter expands and when linked with Uranus could bring new vision and opportunities to break down barriers that have stood in the way of progress. If these changes are necessary, you may now make change happen, but if you do not take action something may come along that propels you in the direction you are meant to go. Jupiter usually brings good luck and opportunities, so these changes are usually beneficial. Sometimes Uranus brings about sudden change and as quickly as it comes into your life, the individual or circumstance creating the change will leave. It is best not to count on things remaining the same. The only thing which is consistent in life is change. With Uranus you can always count on the unexpected.

 

This is also a freedom aspect and Jupiter can promote travel and with Uranus involved, there may be unexpected journeys. You may experience foreign cultures and travel to lands that you have never visited before this conjunction. You will experience new horizons that can lead to enlightenment on some level. Jupiter’s energy suggests religion and mystical knowledge, and this may be where you put your energies during this conjunction. You may be open to new and exciting experiences linked with mysticism and the occult.

 

This is an opportunistic conjunction, and you should use it to your advantage. Experience life in the moment gaining insight into the workings of the universe as a whole and your place within it.

This is your special moment, for every moment is a special moment.

 

We have come into this life to experience all that life has to offer - to experience life’s moments, special or challenging.

 

It is our time to investigate and uncover all the hidden gems. Seek out all that is... each unique characteristics that create us as an individual.

 

The best person we can be already exists. Allow this person to shine but we must acknowledge that we are this person. We can let go of the characteristics we feel we must possess to please others and allow the true self to surface. For some of us, it takes a long time to create this comfort levels. TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT NATAL MERCURY

Its energies currently work well to build on our mystical practices. Neptune is the planet of mystical insight, spiritual enlightenment and psychic perception.

 

At present, many are experiencing a mystical unfolding that they have not experienced previously. Much of what is taking place could be attributed to the alignment of Neptune in Pisces, it’s rulership. It will remain in its own sign until 2025, so we have ample time to unravel its subconscious undertones.

 

Neptune is also known as the planet of illusion. It is important to keep at least one foot on the ground, although imagination sparks many wondrous insights. Find a balance between the two as you can be led astray during Neptune in Pisces or by its influence in your birth chart. Much will depend on what aspects Neptune will be making in your natal chart as well as what house it is transiting.

 

When conjuncting Mercury, the mental processing may be linked to spiritual unfolding. Mercury, the planet of the mind, needs stimulation to become reflective and it takes on the energies of anything that touches it. Those with Mercury in Pisces in the birth chart are likely interconnected to the higher consciousness currently in our world and they will know that there is more to life than work, sleep eat. Many are of a higher conscious mind but some can be led astray by their imagination, although for most of these individuals the desire for something deeper is a major part of their lives. It is important to remain open and this is particularly so for those under this influence.

 

This is the time to become acquainted with your higher self and to find ways to connect to your loved ones that have passed over.

LUNAR ECLIPSE MAY 16, 2022

The Sun and Moon are in opposition on May 16 at 12:11 a.m. EDT creating a Lunar Eclipse at 25 degrees Scorpio.

10:27 pm, Sun, May 15 - Partial Eclipse begins-Partial moon eclipse starts - moon is getting red.

11:29 pm, Sun, May 15 - Total Eclipse begins-Total moon eclipse starts - completely red moon.

12:11 am, Mon, May 16 - Maximum Eclipse-Moon is closest to the center of the shadow.

12:53 am, Mon, May 16 - Total Eclipse ends

1:55 am, Mon, May 16 - Partial Eclipse ends

2:50 am, Mon, May 16 - Penumbral Eclipse ends

 

Back to Astrology….For those that have planets or angles close to 25 degree Scorpio by conjunction or opposition this will be a powerful supernatural related eclipse. The potential for mystical related events and inner reflection are high. Since Scorpio is a water sign and emotions are tied to water signs, this can be an emotionally impactful period remaining strong for about one month and potentially lasting up to a year.

 

Scorpio is also a very sensual sign and can indicate an emotionally intense period connected with sexual encounters. This is a rather dramatic and intense period where sensitivity is highlighted. There can be potential for conflict, disagreements and disputes as well as control issues. There could be an explosive element although the energies are softened by the trines from Neptune and Mars which are both conjunct in the sign of Pisces. Pluto is sextile in Capricorn.

 

The Conjunction of Mars and Neptune often produces some insight into mystical experience and a push for deeper understanding of spiritual pursuits. There is often a strong drive to open doors that might otherwise be closed.

 

This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse creates a time for release of Karma due to the influence of the Moon conjunct the South Node. Karmic obligations are now in motion and can be healed with the help of Neptune and Mars. There may be some control issues and the desire to strongarm life’s events that have been stifling progress. The culmination point may be from mid-May to mid-June. Pluto will add a regenerating aspect to this period and in many cases, what was set in motion will now be reaching fruition.

 

Saturn squaring this Lunar Eclipse will add a dimension of hard work. It will likely not be an easy period although with the proper insight and intuitive feedback which is highlighted you can make steps towards alignment that needs to be set in place. It will likely be an intense time when emotional concerns or events will unfold. Use these energies to equip yourself with what you need from a spiritual perspective and align with what is required of you.

What can we do for ourselves that might lift us from the heaviness that we sometimes feel?

TRANSITING SATURN SQUARE NATAL JUPITER

As a bit of a background, Saturn in retrograde often works different than most other planets when in retrograde. Normally the planetary energies are withheld during retrograde, while Saturn (who’s energy is normally restricted) is quite the opposite. Some consider its retrograde energies like the energies of Jupiter. Saturn’s energies, which are normally withdrawn, are now softened. When Saturn is direct in motion, its energies are restrictive and disciplinarian and the urge to make deliberate plans of action are restricted and stifled.

 

T. Saturn makes things difficult especially when in direct motion and a square to Jupiter often denotes a time when plans are thwarted and very limited. If you want to achieve while this square is in place, you will have to work diligently and will likely feel limited with your progress. Saturn will test your resolve and will require a review of how your life is progressing, especially in areas related to business ventures and finances. Your career options may also be under focus and people in authority will be watching your every move. Be sure you do not skip any steps. Taking on too many projects is never suggested when Saturn is involved and most certainly not when Jupiter and Saturn are in square with one another.

 

Saturn & Jupiter were in conjunction at the start of the pandemic about 2 years ago which we discussed in previous posts. Although we did not know about the virus specifically indicators were in place that we would be experiencing a challenging period. A Square will bring issues out into the open and expose challenging conditions to intense scrutiny and observation. Your resolve will be tested and if you did not look at it from every angle and make sure that everything was completed according to the best set of standards, you may have to cut your losses and begin anew. In seven years, things will once again be tested as Saturn will then be making an opposition to your Jupiter and if things are not working now, it is wise to just begin again using an alternate means if the initial plan did not work. Oppositions often suggest that other people are involved in the equation.

 

During the square, Jupiter, which is all about expansion and freedom of movement, will be harnessed and tested. The desire to move out into new directions does not sit well with Saturn and you will be wise to make sure that before you move ahead you take the necessary measures. If not you will be stifled and held back in your objectives during this aspect. Obstruction and agitation, along with anxiety, may all be part of the process, but the end result if you make sure that you crossed all the “T”s and dotted all the “I”s should be worth the effort. The foundation that you build during this time will stand the test of time and be built on solid ground.

 

It is often suggested that you wait until this transit is over before you make alternate plans or begin new projects. There will be far less obstructions and fewer obstacles to overcome.

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT NATAL MERCURY

 The first planet we are looking at today is Mercury, the planet of the mind. Mercury needs to be stimulated by other planetary energies or important angles in the chart to become active. On its own, Mercury is considered neutral. Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo.

 

Secondly, Uranus is considered a planet of action and often brings change, sometimes disruptive. This change is usually required as it creates room for something new. Uranus is impulsive, erratic and unconventional in its behaviour. It often brings a fresh start to an otherwise stale condition.

 

When active through conjunction, Uranus brings emphasis to what it touches and creates activities often put into motion on the days when it is most direct. It is used as a timing factor and although its energies can be felt for as much as 5 degrees approaching, it intensifies immensely as it draws near to becoming direct.

 

When Uranus is in conjunction with Mercury, the mind is stimulated and new concepts, often original and sometimes different from anything experienced before, can come to life. Communicating these ideas will play a significant role in whether they get off the ground. Inaction is not suggested and the need to be open and share information is advisable. Often a by-product of these blended energies is a shift towards altering another person’s perspective, pushing them into something new and stimulating (although if in Aries, the energies can be usually very personal in nature). Uranus has to do with technology, science and mathematics and is also correlated with Astrology. Often these areas are part of the unfolding story.

 

Uranus also asks that we become open to anything new during this time. As a result, those that are fixed will need to become more flexible. Uranus is currently in Taurus (May 2022), and Taurus does not like to reach out to new horizons. Taurus wants stability and structure. Making mistakes is uncommon because of the need for things to be reliable and steadfast. Not taking the time required to think things through can be a result of the impact of Uranus, as it can be quite impulsive. Cultivate patience and learn how to persevere through potential setbacks especially if Saturn is somehow connected.

 

T Saturn is currently square to Sun in Taurus @ 20-25 degrees and will be causing a great deal of push and pull for those affected although this will not apply to those with their Sun conjunct Uranus which currently is 14-15 degrees. From August to December Sun in Taurus around 18-20 degrees will have these energies strong in their chart. T Saturn will provide a degree of caution and perhaps even the fear of failure, while Uranus and Mercury will push towards action. Take the time needed to ensure that what you are trying to accomplish has a chance to succeed and then move forward. If you happen to fall short of your objectives, do not hesitate to pick up the pieces and begin again.

 

This is a time to reach out beyond boundaries and setting sail for something new, that, with proper insight, has the chance to succeed.
