TRANSFORMING

Changes are coming. You feel it. It is not by chance either.

Change would not present itself unless you were ready to take that step. You are moving from obscurity to a workable and sustainable bright path. This is not only your realization, but others are also seeing this change in you.

SUN IN CANCER 2022 TRANSITS

From July 6 through to July 20, 2022 T Mercury will be moving through the sign of Cancer and then from July 19 to August 11 Venus will also transit through Cancer. Cancerians will be experiencing these energies through out this period intensifying as these planets’ conjunct their natal Sun.

 

All conjunctions merge with the energies of the planets involved so with Mercury and the Sun goals, aspirations and life’s path will likely undergo some alignment during this time. Cancerians may feel they have a good idea of what and when to push ahead with plans and their life’s path seems to be moving in that direction.

 

What they undertake now may prove to be a positive step which in some cases may prove to be financially feasible or may add to their resources. Pushing ahead might work in their favour especially if other planets in the natal chart and transits suggest the same. Confirm which house is involved with the conjunction as this will define the area of life affected.

 

Venus can speak of finances which is why we suggested that resources were part of the energies. Venus and the Sun merging often have very favourable outcomes. This conjunction (or trine or sextile) is energies we wait for.

 

Venus may also speak of love, affection and socializing. Perhaps this tie in with these energies. Mercury stimulates the mind and often is associated with activity related to communication while Venus can represent love and perhaps the potential for a love affair to grow or an existing one to become enhanced.

 

T Pluto is in opposition to those with the Sun in Cancer in the later degrees. Oppositions can be difficult and often speak of other people being involved causing some disruption to the flow of things.

THIS LIFE’S FINAL DOOR

The ego expresses itself on many levels and there are several ways of looking at this companion or “master” force. Identifying with the ego is of paramount concern as it can take you places that both create concrete results or entangled concepts that are anything but effective in their nature or for your growth. As you walk with your ego, watch for identifying with the voice that says you are better than others, deserve more than others.

FATE AND OUR OWN FREE WILL

Some questioned free will vs fate and what influence and choices we have in life.

 

What is your definition of “Free will”?

 

Many believe that free will plays little to no part in what road life takes us down. Has destiny simply laid out the path and events and we are now pawns in the game of life?

 

Ponder this thought: “we were intelligible energy prior to this incarnation”. Imagine that we understood the many different paths we could take on this earthly plain to activate lessons for our spiritual growth. Imagine choosing your current life’s path. Imagine reviewing potential experiences to fulfill our spiritual needs through our physical existence so that we would learn and grow through significant physical and mental experiences.

 

If this were the case, we have taken personal control of our destiny. If we planned the lessons in life then nothing is by chance. If this is the case, life is pre-destined and fated, but we chose these fates. There would never be mistakes. We are human, without doubt, and may sway us off the intended course at times but these alternative paths may only serve to slow us down on our journey, but ultimately, we still end up at the chosen end.

 

Past, present and future are earthly terms and in reality, they all exist simultaneously; therefore, an alternate route that brings us to the same place, matters little.

 

If we understand our part in the process, we also take responsibility for our lives. This removes all blame. Taking responsibility is imperative. We predestined our fate. This puts life in a completely different perspective.

 

We cannot sit back and not to participate in our lives. We must still do our part. Free will is determined by the course of action or attitude we take in the moment. Free will rests in our reaction to life’s events and our attitude toward these events and to those around us.

 

Life offers challenging conditions and even tragic events, but our response and our mental attitude is always a choice. Accept responsibility, even when life seems unfair. Know that life is moving exactly as it should…. always on path……always on course.

SUN IN CANCER JUNE 21, 2022

Today June 21, 2022, the Sun moved from the mutable, air sign of Gemini into the cardinal water sign of Cancer. If you were to read our last post of Gemini, you will note that there is quite a difference between Gemini and Cancer. Gemini is a changeable, studious, and communicative sign while Cancer is a highly sensitive, not overly changeable (although from an emotional level they can certainly shift quite easily). Gemini seeks to gather information from an intellectual perspective while Cancer seeks to gain information through an emotional perspective and from intuition.

 

Cancerians are deep and reflective. As mentioned they are very intuitive, feeling their way through life. They are gentle beings with a need for a quiet place where they can recharge their emotional batteries. They usually do not do well with adversity, and many enjoy cooking or are home bodies. They can be overly protective especially of their children, family in general and the close family of friends.

 

Due to their extreme sensitivity, they often hide their feelings which a Cancerian may feel is their weakness (hidden in their protective shell). Only those that show sensitivity and can be trusted will be allowed to penetrate the Cancer shell of protection. This is not to say that Cancerians are weak; far from it. They are defenders of the underdog and will fight relentlessly if need be, but also prefer not to get involved in aggressive situations.

 

If there are other indicators in the natal chart, like the Grand Water Trine or many planets in the water houses (4,8 and 12) these individuals can be sensitive enough to pick up vibrations from others and many are considered quite psychic or at the very least intuitive. Their perception is keen. They love to mother others and would do well in any field of caring for others, such as nurses, caregivers, or counselors. Cancerians make good counselors providing they do not allow themselves to take on the energies of those that they are working with.

 

As a side note, as with any sign, cancer traits can be softened by other strong influences in the chart. Eg someone with Sun in Cancer, Moon, Mars & Saturn in Capricorn, Mercury, Venus and Rising sign in Leo would express themselves with a lot of fortitude and would want others to know of their existence. It is always important to look at the full chart. Our Sun in Cancer is a general definition of Cancerian traits.

MERCURY RULER OF GEMINI (& VIRGO)

Before we move out of the sign of Gemini, we thought it appropriate to look at the ruling Planet of Gemini (Virgo as well), Mercury.

Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and is never more than 28° away from the Sun. Due to their proximity, some people are born with these two bodies in conjunction. A conjunction is defined as two planets being within 8 to 10 ° from one another. There is also an aspect called the Cazimi (17 minutes separation or less between the planets) which is a powerful expression of the conjunction with Mercury and the Sun. When this occurs between Mercury and the Sun, the energies of both planets are greatly intensified.

Mercury is the planet of the mind and rules our intellectual abilities and enhances the thought process. Mercury although considered dormant unless activated will enhance and add its energies to whatever it touches in the horoscope. It affects the thinking process greatly. Mercury’s sign and the aspects to it from other planets and positions in the natal chart defines how the mind operates.

Mercury in the birth chart determines how we make sense of our lives and the world around us. It controls the way we communicate on a day-to-day basis. It is our mental statement to the world and our sense of humor. It also rules quickness of thought. There is a huge difference between someone with Mercury in Aries, which could be defined as quick responsive thinking, to someone with Mercury in Capricorn, which could be described as slow methodical thinking.

Some are born with Mercury in retrograde motion (Mercury appearing to be moving backwards in the sky) and when Mercury goes retrograde through transit and touches off the natal retrograde Mercury, or other planets in the birth chart, the mind may slow down and may even struggle depending on the relationship to other planetary forces within the horoscope. Retrograde is usually a time when these individuals should be careful and perhaps even put off signing important documents and making vital life decisions.

Mercury retrograde at birth is often characterized as an introverted mind where things are thought over carefully before making decisions.

Communication is the key phrase related to the planet Mercury.

The intellect is stimulated by the planet Mercury and those with Mercury prominent in their birth chart will have defined intellectual pursuits. Much will depend on which sign Mercury is in and how it is being aspected in the birth chart. Please note that a challenged Mercury in the birth chart can be rectified and bring assistance as we learn from life’s experiences on how to deal with our own personal thinking process.

ARE WE SO DIFFERENT?

Are you one of those individuals that know somehow you are different?

TRANSITING PLUTO TRINE THE MOON

T Pluto stays in the later degrees of Capricorn until March 2023 but does not move permanently into Aquarius until 2024. Pluto moves from 26° forward over this period making a trine to those with their Moon in the late degrees of Taurus and Virgo.

 

Capricorn, Virgo and Taurus form the earth modality and often speaks in terms of reliability, structural formation, sensitivity tied to practicality and alignment with material achievement. Pluto the planet of transformation and regeneration in trine to the Moon in these placements often speaks of change or evolution regarding emotional involvement and sensitivity around material concerns.

 

This position often fosters a reliable, steadfast, and constructive element to our emotional experience which can be defined by the house placement of the natal Moon and the current transiting position of Pluto in the chart.

 

There may be some power struggles or alignment taking place where your sensitivities and compassionate nature is involved. WINDOWS OF OPPORTUNITY

Take advantage of the moments when the metaphorical window of opportunities opens. It is what we do with these opportunities that either curtail or expand our connectedness. There seems to be specific times when the gateway to spirituality is open and mystical unfolding is unleashed in leaps and bounds.

FULL MOON JUNE 14, 2022

On June 14, 2022 @ 7:51 a.m. EDT, we will experience a Super Strawberry Full Moon @ 23° Sagittarius.

 

This Full Moon’s energies are culminative of what began 6 months ago when the New Moon was in Sagittarius. What was started then is now reaching fruition and the effort and action taken will be reflected into the area of life indicated by the house where the Full Moon is located (house placement of 23° Sagittarius) in our personal chart.

 

Look to see if this lunar aspect is playing an important role in your life in your birth chart. Confirm if there are any conjunctions or oppositions to this placement. The squares, sextiles and trines also have a part if formed, but the conjunction and opposition have the strongest impacts. Any planets or angles must be within three degrees of this placement to have an impact.

 

A Full Moon in Sagittarius can be linked to life’s philosophies, broadening life’s view and opening doors to spirituality. This can be a time for adventure; perhaps you have been planning a trip or holiday; now is the time for it to unfold. The outdoors and wide-open spaces are appealing now and you seek freedom and peace through aligning with nature. THE MEANING OF GIVING

TRANSITING JUPITER CONJUNCT THE MOON IN ARIES

The conjunction between T Jupiter and the Moon when in force marks a time of positive energy emotionally. Jupiter expands on things and adds positivity with nurturing and compassion. We, when influenced by this aspect, truly want to help others, especially those that might be struggling and feel that no one cares. We can give much of ourselves to others without diminishing our self, or without feeling empty. In contrast, we may find that giving without measure in return provides us with the emotional support that we may feel we need. This could come in the form of help from others through religious pursuits or spirituality. We will find that the assistance we seek is easily found.

 

Since we are speaking of the energies of Jupiter aligned with the Moon, we must also take into consideration the sign it will be transiting through. Jupiter moved into the sign of Aries currently, remaining in Aries until the end of October when it returns to Pisces through retrograde motion, returning to Aries December 21 and staying there until May 17, 2023.

 

Those with their Moon in Aries have a reigning need (defined by Noel Tyle) of being number one. Since the Moon rules our emotions, those with this position strong in their charts have a need to fulfill their own personal wishes from an emotional perspective. Depending on other factors in the chart, many with this placement may be driven to find what they search for from an emotionally bound life. Aries wants what they want and, in many cases, will strive very hard to achieve. They will step on others to achieve this, but this may be because their emotions are so tied to their needs. This is not to say that the typical Aries Moon individual is selfish although some can identify with this but to satisfy others emotionally, they must first look after their own needs.

 

The Moon deals with our domestic situation including the home environment, friends and family. We may feel very generous under the aspect and provide others with what they need. We may find that we are especially drawn to those close to us, and we will invite them into our homes and share ourselves with them more than we might at other times. Jupiter brings good luck and we will be quite willing to share whatever comes our way. Some may take advantage of our generosity so we must watch for becoming too extreme in our giving. TRANSITING NEPTUNE SQUARE NATAL MARS

T Neptune has to do with our mystical alignment, inspiration, music or arts talents, illusion, illusive perception, the desire to be aligned with the oneness of spirit, selflessness and giving without measure. Mars has to do with aggressive action, pursuit, daring adventures, force, and the need to advance and can lead to arguments, heated discussions, violence, and force.

 

These two energies combined by the square aspect (90°) indicates struggle to view life objectively. Confusion can result and clear vision is needed. Any action may be hindered, and inaction is part of the picture. This may be caused by worry, anxiety, fear, deception, and undefined paths.

 

Mars is about drive and in some cases sexual drive and combined with Neptune can lead to misconceptions about strong sexual connections or romantic involvement at times based on the sexual encounter. The square always indicates obstacles and hurtles to move through but due to the nature of the square, the irritation or need to push your way through adversity is strong enough that people will look for ways to alleviate the obstruction. Neptune’s desire to escape may hinder progress however.

 

Much depends on the houses involved. Confirm which house or houses T Neptune is and will move through and the placement of N Mars’ and N Neptune’s positions. The square that T Neptune is making will affect the natal picture of your Mars. It will also be making aspects to other areas of your chart because of Mars’ position and aspect configurations in the birth chart.

 

Action may be hindered and advancement held back. The clarity of the situation may be vague. It would be best to wait for this transit to pass before taking important steps. However as mentioned the energies of the square often push us into action on some level. Be sure that the action taken is not one of escape, such as drugs or alcohol abuse.

TRANSITING JUPITER CONJUNCT NATAL VENUS

Jupiter is known as the great benefactor and often bestows good luck, fortune, and expansion onto everything it touches. When connected to the planet Venus by conjunction, the planet of love and romance, it often brings good fortune into this area of life.

 

During this aspect, the energies offer a peaceful time, and you may find that your lover or your friends brings out the best in you. You feel comfortable and your mannerisms are gentle and very loving. There is often a general feeling of camaraderie and the desire for social interaction.

 

During this aspect would be a great time for social gatherings, and you may find that you wish to share your life with more people. Party-going in wide open spaces may be very appealing especially when connected to nature.

OPTIONS

 It would appear often we have to be backed into a corner before we recognize an alternative route, or unexpectedly, out of the blue, an alternative route comes to light. We can feel lost and without direction before we have this recognition, and we openly accept the new course of action as we feel as though there are no other choices.

 

When the choice has been made, we do not understand why we never thought of that alternative earlier. This makes us realize that we were so consumed by our surrounding conditions that we were blind to new ways of looking and thinking. This is an easy habit to slip into and one we need to guard against.

 

Why did the new choice come to light?

 

Really, the answer to this is not important. It is only important to recognize our habits and to work to changing them. Nonetheless, no matter why we have changed our focus, we now have new options and different paths to take if we choose. Things seem to change in an instant and our outlook goes through just as great transformation as our options.

 

Things often seemed to reach a bleak point, and then we release control because we feel there was no other alternative. Once we have released, recognized, and moved forward with this new choice suddenly everything changes. We sometimes must look at things from a different perspective and then new doors will open.

 

Do NOT “allow” negativity to enter the equation. There are always options. Sometimes that option is simply to let go of control. Whatever the options, we must be open to them. In the worst conditions, things can magically turn around. Do not become dismayed. These are events; they are not a reflection of you.
