BE MERCIFULLY KIND

What does it costs to be compassionate and merciful to others particularly to those who are dealing with issues in their life? 

It does not matter what they might be experiencing or even their reactions to our gentle contributions, we cannot judge as we are not walking in their shoes.  We will never fully understand what it is they are experiencing.

It is always easy to assist or stand with someone struggling when they are appreciative and show their gratitude for our efforts.  It is not so easy to show compassion to those that lash out due to their circumstance but a compassionate approach is still best. 

Should we not always try to match up with our soul’s nature response, not a human one?

Every individual no matter what their circumstances needs love.  I have heard it said that it is hardest to love someone when they need your love the most.

Those that have been pushed to their limits, physically, emotionally or otherwise can react aggressively. Constant physical or emotional pain can eat away at patience.

In the face of adversity. be merciful.  Be thankful that you are on the outside looking in. 

Can we conjure up enough compassion to stand by these individuals and provide that ear or shoulder that they might need?

Be mercifully kind…..a living angel on earth.

MOON’S NODES, Part II

We are continuing our post from January 28, 2019.  As mentioned there are two Nodes in Astrology being the North and South Nodes.  In the previous post we spoke of the energies of the Nodes and their meanings.  Today we will dig a little deeper and look at examples on how the energies would work.

When a transiting planet conjuncts the North Node and if for example it were Uranus, this may be a time when you should follow the desire to break free from any type of restriction that has held you back or stopped you from achieving what the North Node’s energies are suggesting.  Because of the transiting Uranus influence, this may happen on the spur of the moment and without warning.  It may push you in a direction that requires immediate decision making and the desire for something new and enterprising especially if the North Node were in the sign of Aries for example.

If Uranus were transiting your South Node, this would suggest that it is not the time to do these things and that you should weigh things out before making any commitment to change and follow a new life direction.  It may be a warning that sudden decision making might hamper you later in life.  Rash decision making would not be recommended.  What you should do would be to take time to ponder your actions before making any moves regardless of the desire or urge to move ahead in a new direction.  

You always have to check the house that your North Node or South Node are in to give you further information about what areas of life are involved.  You should also check which house your natal Uranus is in to add to the underlying information being provided to you through your birth chart (with this example of transiting Uranus making an aspect).

With the example of Uranus making contact to the South Node, if you take the time suggested (and remember the South Node has similarities to Saturn’s actions) you can make informed decisions rather than jumping, which is what Uranus would want from you in our example. 

The North Node and Uranus however, would suggest that you take that giant step forward and move towards the intended direction, as the North Node is similar in its action to Jupiter and usually provides good fortune and positive outcomes.  

Of course, you always need to look at the overall picture of what is happening in your chart before making any life changing decisions.  Rash decisions are seldom a good idea.

These examples for the North and South Node should help with a better understanding of how these energies would work.

ARE YOU GIVING IT YOUR BEST?

It is important to stand by our convictions and to live listening to our hearts. 

There are always choices for us to make along our journey yet there is a purpose to fulfill and changing this ultimate purpose, we believe is virtually impossible.  This important issue forms the overall lesson we are meant to learn. 

Adjustments to the journey are constant and often we do not recognize the path before us.  We make amendments and do what we feel is best.

It IS important to follow what we feel is best and to do our best as we continue forward.  We are human but we cannot use that as an excuse to be lazy or lackadaisical.  We can and will make slip-ups along the road, but we can always pick ourselves up and continue on. 

What others think of our path and our life’s expression is of no concern to us as that is a reflection of their opinion not a reflection of who we are.  Of course, we must never injure others in any way intentionally.   Our effort and what we think of ourselves is what is of utmost importance, however.

 

During self-evaluation, it is important to recognize when ego is unleashing its negative or egotistic opinion.  This again is not us.  We are sparks of the source.  We should never identify with ego’s ranting.  If we see something within that does not suit who we feel we are, we do not call it our own.  Recognize it only as a learned tool and then release it. 

Our belief structure and our expectations form our response reality.  If we refocus our thoughts, we change our course and this can be done at any given moment.  The shift can be permanent and extremely positive. 

Life will always have its trials and tribulations (because we are here to learn).  We can learn from anything that comes our way with the right attitude and once learned move forward.

MOON’S NODES, Part I

There are two Nodes in Astrology, the North and the South Nodes. 

The North Node is tied to your life’s direction and the purpose behind this existence. 

The South Node speaks about a past life significant to this life and/or an area of life that is comfortable because it is familiar to us.  Although the South Node is not the path you are to follow in this life, it does not suggest that you should steer clear of the South Node’s impact in your life, as you can use the gained knowledge from the previous incarnation to help you with your current journey.  I know some individuals do not believe in past lives so think of the South Node as the talents that come natural to us.

We have come into this life to follow the path set out by the North Node and its energies are defined by the sign, house placement, and aspects from other planets or angles to the Nodes.

The South Node supplies us with valuable information that we have brought with us which we can utilize in this life.  These are the things or information, as mentioned, that just simply come very natural to us.  Falling back into the South Node’s energies indicated by its sign and house position may feel comfortable, but we have come to fulfill the purpose of the North Node position.  Throughout our life we will find that events push us in the direction of our North Node energies.

The planetary links to the North Node along with any angles (our Ascendant, the MC, the IC, and the DC) that might be tied to the North Node are something that we need to bring forward in this life and learn to use them to our advantage.  The North Node is said to have similarities to the Sun and Jupiter while the South Node has connections to Saturn.

The planets and the aspects that link up to these two Nodes should be treated in the same manner as any other planetary energy in the natal chart.  The planetary energies tie in with the Nodes and emphasize what these energies are about, which includes the angles.  

For example, Mars tied to the South Node may indicate that in a previous life we were a fighter or someone with a vile temper, or a leader who governed through dictatorship or force.  The North Node tied to Mars may suggest similar conditions and that in this life we are to pursue our objectives with vigor and use our inherent strength to accomplish what we have set out to do.  Mars would provide us the push to address what the sign and house position of the North Node suggests.  However, any forceful or aggressive attempts at power are not suggested.

COMPOSITE CHARTS EXPLORED

A Composite Chart is an Astrology chart of two individuals.  These charts can be prepared for any two people; however, most people commissioning these charts are couples in a marital or personal relationship. 

Composite Charts are prepared in a similar manner as a natal chart but the Composite chart uses midpoints.  The midpoints of each planet and angle from both charts are used to create a new chart.  It is imperative that each person has accurate birth information.  Many websites offer a free service to do the mathematics involved to calculate the midpoint. 

Midpoints are the half the exact distance between two planet.  Composite charts, for example, take the Sun location from both peoples’ chart, calculate the distance between both Sun locations and then divide that distance by two.  With this calculation, the shortest distance between the planets is used (less than 180 degrees apart from one another).

When preparing a Composite Charts, the midpoints are always calculated with the same planets, luminaries and angles.  So the midpoint would be calculated between the two Suns, the two Moons, the two Mercury planets and so on.  This extends into the midpoint of the two Ascendants as well as the two Midheavens, for example.

Once these are all calculated, there will be a new chart (Composite Chart) created from the exact midpoints of all the planets and the Ascendant and Midheaven. 

It should be noted that transits can also be used in the Composite chart.

Composite Charts will define the relationship between two people and is interpreted as a natal chart, using the aspects between the planets and angles, the houses and so forth. 

If, for example, Mercury in the composite chart has a lot of challenging aspect to it, (an opposition from the Moon, a square from Mars, a square from Pluto, a square from Uranus and a conjunction to Saturn), we would expect that these two individuals would have challenging conditions linked to communication especially if the third house was involved.  There could be challenges connected with aggressive dialogue causing arguments and disagreements.  One or the other could feel emotionally distant from the other or they could have difficulty getting their point across.  This goes a lot deeper but with this little bit of information, it is apparent the aspects between planets is similar to aspects between natal planets.  The only variation being that deciphering the information in the Composite chart is relative to two people and their relationship instead of only one individual.

As mentioned, transits can be incorporated into this chart and the transits would tell the story of what is taking place currently in the relationship of these two people.  Much can be learned by the study of a Composite chart including which energies are at work, how long the energies might influence the relationship and what areas of life are involved. 

A Composite Chart is a chart within itself, but speaks about the energies between the two people involved.

MAGICAL JOURNEY

Where life will actually take us is known by the few.  For the many of us that wonder where that path will take us, it is an adventurous dream that is manifested daily in our lives.  We navigate onward and meanders the rocky shores and gentle plains of our lives.

NO RETROGRADE PLANETS IN AN ASTROLOGY CHART

The energies of a planets in retrograde in an Astrology chart tend to make us look inward.  Those with several retrogrades in their chart (and the magic number seems to be 5) tend to be introverted, even subdued and much to themselves.  The energies have difficulties working their way to the surface and are stifled.  It takes great effort to bring the energies to the surface and make the necessary adjustments to challenge these so-called deficiencies.  Personally this Astrologer does not believe in deficiencies.  I tend to look at it as harnessed energy waiting for the opportune moment to be released.

Those people without retrogrades in their birth charts are in the minority.  It is said that roughly seven percent of people have this phenomena.  It is believed that the energies of all the planets are released and given free reign and allowed to flow freely.  This in turn can create an individual who may lack patience and they often avoid using a cautious approach.  The waiting game is not part of their nature and they much prefer to move things along.

There is usually great energy behind these individuals and they work tirelessly towards the achievements of their objectives in life.  They have strong willpower and are persistent in their efforts to succeed.  They move forward similar to Aries often advancing with little afterthought, if any, and they rarely disbelieve in their own abilities. As a result, they are normally quite successful. 

Some individuals without retrograde planets in their chart do fall from time to time; however, this will not stop them from getting back up and moving ahead again.  Their determination is steadfast and they rely on no one for approval or even assistance.   They believe in their own abilities and also stand behind their failures for they are valuable lessons.  These lessons are not cause for alarm.  “Let’s just start again and see what happens” could be their motto.   “If it does not work this time, perhaps it will the next time”, or “I will just need to make some minor adjustments” would be statements you would hear from these individuals.

They are self-reliant and self-determined.  These traits can make them great entrepreneurs.  They are willing to take the plunge and often without much reserve. 

Most of these individuals would prefer to work alone.  This, however, can make them somewhat aloof and even distant as they unconsciously withdraw into themselves.  They may even feel misinterpreted and wrongly judged by others, because of this loner type mentality.  But this is only in extreme cases and it is wise to take into consideration the whole chart before coming to any conclusions.  There are many things in the chart that can offset some of these characteristics, but moving forward and going it alone is quite common for someone without retrograde planets in their natal chart.

DESTINY’S GATEWAY

A single lifetime on earth, in the broad scheme of things, is a very short period.  It can feel that much shorter depending on when and if we actually wake up and start paying attention to life, rather than just drifting along ignoring the moment.  Once we begin to focus on the moment, life’s experience becomes more relevant and has much more meaning and purpose. 

When asleep, we flit from day to day with little recognition of what is happening.  We fail to understand that that emptiness within can only be filled with awareness and presence.  We point the finger at others and fail to realize that we build our moments, and our tomorrows from our expectations and focus . 

When we awaken, we know and understand that we build our tomorrows by our thought processes and will only experience limitations in life if these are part of our expectations.  Our concentrated thoughts refocus our pathway.

Many individuals believe that the many lessons we are meant to learn throughout this life have already been determined.  Whether it is predetermined or changes as we change our direction throughout life is irrelevant.  No matter what is true, we have choices on how we react to each and every event we experience.  We have a choice on how we respond to that individual that held the door for us, to that driver that cuts us off, to the stoppage of traffic on the highway, to our house being broken into, to the loss of our spouse, and the list goes on.  These do not have to be only negative experiences.  The same holds true for what we term “beneficiary” experiences as well.  (Is there a non-beneficiary experience?)

Could we have stopped the accident on the highway or the death of our loved one?.....undoubtedly not.  Do we have a part in the process of how we appreciate and enjoy our life?......without a doubt!

If we believe or consider the possibility that we are constantly building our tomorrows by what we do today and by our expectations, then is it possible that as we mold our journey it will flex as we build? 

Even though we are positive, we will still experience hard lessons in life.  These are part of our journey.  Our reaction to the lessons is what is important. 

Is it not possible for us to go through these life experiences (lessons) and our part in the process is to learn from them and then carry on?  Perhaps this is part of destiny’s gateway!  Are we to learn not to take everything so personally? 

Should we be “owning” everything that happens.  We were taught the law of gravity in school.  Are we suppose to think that we own this theory or learn from it and move forward? 

We are meant to experience but not own.  These are not personal.  They do not define us – they teach us.

We and only we make the decisions.  We choose what we wish to believe and what response we will have throughout our journey.   It is always in our hands even when we do not believe it is. 

Perhaps all we need to do is watch life flow, be the spectator of all of the events, learn from them and move forward without stress, fearless and free.  You will need to decide and then watch what builds from that decision.

STATIONARY RETROGRADE AND STATIONARY DIRECT

When a planet is transiting through the Zodiac, the planets from Mercury to Pluto have cycles known as retrograde and direct motion.  The Sun and the Moon never go into retrograde motion. 

The Planets, at times, appear to slow down.  They then appear to stop their forward motion.  During this apparent stoppage of motion, it is known as stationary retrograde.  The planet will remain in this stationary position for a few days duration, depending on the planet in question.  After the planet moves into retrograde motion (appears to be moving backwards) and then completes its retrograde cycle, it once again begins to slow down and then appear to come to a stop.  This is termed stationary direct in Astrology.  The length of time a planet is in stationary direct also depends on the planet involved.  The outer planets remain in their stationing position longer than the inner planets.  Once again the planets begin to appear to move in a forward motion.

There has been controversy concerning the meaning of stationary positions in the natal chart.  Some Astrologers, including this Astrologer, share the concept through experience that the stationary direct as well as the stationary retrograde have a very powerful influence on a person’s life when found in the natal chart.

It has been noted that an individual with a planet in a stationary position in the birth chart will have emphasizes on the defining energies of the planet involved.  There is also influence from the sign that the planet is in and the house placement as well. 

Some Astrologers, through studies, have found that the stationary planet can be one of the most powerful influences in the birth chart and that the energies of this planet will rule much of the activity that will be released.  At some point in the person’s life, these energies and the influence of the planet will become very significant.  The energies of the stationary planet have been linked to the defining purpose of the individual’s life. 

This Astrologer believes that if there are other signatures within the birth chart that point in the same direction and imply something very similar that the matters concerned with the planet involved will be heightened and experienced as a significant inner or outer expression.

It has been suggested that someone with a stationary retrograde planet in the birth chart will at some point experience the energies related to the planet involved within the area of life the house dictates as well as the energies of the sign it falls under. 

The individual with the stationary retrograde will only discover this after some time of inner reflection as well as many life experiences that will lead to an awakening of sorts depending on the planet and its placement.  This may take time as well as much self-study or thought-provoking experiences before it is finally released.  This is similar to a retrograde planet in the birth chart as it suggests that there is some inner reflection required before action can be taken.

The stationary direct individual has a different experience although the process is the same.  The stationary direct influence depends on the sign the stationary planet is in and the house placement as well.  However, the stationary direct individual has a much easier time unleashing the energies associated with the planet and its placement.  Things seem to work much easier and in a more outward expression.  The motivating factor that facilitates the desired information or acknowledgement and understanding can be released at a much early stage in life or under less restrictive conditions.  Stationary direct works in a much similar manner as does a planet once it goes direct.

The energies released and the influence of the planet involved is still of primary importance, but the direct stationary energies seem to come through in a much easier manner than the energies of the retrograde stationary planet.

SUN IN AQUARIUS 2019

The Sun moves into the sign of Aquarius on January 20 just before midnight this year (2019). 

Those individuals with their Sun in Aquarius will be experiencing their solar return as the Sun moves through the sign of Aquarius.  This is an annual chart prepared for the exact time the Sun returns to its birth placement by degree in your personal chart.  The Solar return chart reads similar to a natal chart, but it deals specifically with the current year from birthday to birthday.  We will discuss solar returns in a post at a later date.

For those with their Sun in Aquarius or to a lesser degree those with their Sun in the eleventh house, there is an interest or concern for humanity.  These individuals can be farsighted, eccentric in their approach and are ahead of their time.  Aquarius individuals march to the beat of a different drum than most.  Some Aquarians have been labeled odd, and they tend to gravitate to intellectuals individuals. 

Aquarius is an air sign and as a result, Aquarians are interested in communication and the sharing of information.  They could be considered bohemian and unique in their approach to life, are interested in finding the truth and need a certain amount of freedom.  They tend to gravitate to groups of people who are like minded and many are interested in what could be called the unusual. 

“Don’t fence me in” could be their motto and many Aquarians walk their own walk and do not fit in well with most others.  People will find an Aquarian interesting to converse. 

Tthe individuals under this Sun sign are seldom considered overly emotional.  (A review of the rest of the chart would have to be undertaken as there could be other influences diluting this energy).  Depending on the placement of the Moon, many Aquarians have difficulties releasing emotion and some will find them rather cold in their emotional “expression”.

Many Aquarians are uncomfortable with one to one relationships and their focus lies much more in groups or in their concern for humanity as a whole.  Their approach to life is to push people out of complacency by spreading their knowledge to the world.  Many individuals, however, do not understand Aquarians, because generally they are ahead of their time.

Aquarius is a fixed sign and it is hard to sway them from their beliefs.  Once they make up their mind on a path to take, they rarely shift.  They are willing to walk their own path, but will also try to promote that path, ( although for those that are in touch with their own unique path to follow, the Aquarius individual will not persist on pushing them in their direction). 

Aquarians have the good or wellbeing of others in mind, but may go about trying to push others to see their approach in a very direct manner.  Those that are born under a softer, more gentle sign may find this approach somewhat invasive (and perhaps somewhat out there, depending on their particular mind frame and belief structures).

Aquarius individuals make good Astrologers, computer technicians and inventors.  Some could be good at teaching science based courses and some would do well as counselors.  They make good friends although they are not overly compassionate, at least on the surface.  If someone were to cross an Aquarian, they can let go of this hurt and move ahead, but the hurt may internally last for a while. 

Aquarians are not known for being discreet and their direct honest approach is not always what others are ready to hear. 

Most Aquarians will follow their path once they figure out what their path might be and some Aquarians may wish to leave something of themselves behind, a legacy if you will, when their time in this physical realm is complete.

The beginner's course is a nine class course starting Monday, April 1, 2019 through to June 10, 2019.

The Level II Astrology course is a ten class course starting Tuesday, April 2, 2019  and running through to June 11, 2019.  This class also begins at 7 p.m and runs for 2.5 hours in length.

FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE JANUARY 20/21 2019

We will be experiencing a Full Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse on January 20/21, 2019 depending on where you will be. 

The Full Moon is at 0 degrees of Leo.  The Penumbral eclipse begins at 9:36 p.m. EST on January 20, 2019; the partial at 10:34 p.m. EST, the total eclipse beings at 11:41 p.m. EST, the total begins at 11:41 p.m. EST, the maximum is at 12:12 a.m. EST January 21, 2019 and the total eclipse ends at 12:43 a.m.  The partial eclipse ends at 1:50 a.m. EST and the Penumbral ends at 2:48 a.m. EST January 21, 2019 according to “todocanada.ca” 

A Lunar Eclipses usually last 3-4 hours and this particular Lunar Eclipse will last a little over 5 hours.  The influence of the energies of an eclipse is equivalent in months to the actual hours it lasts.  Accordingly, the energies of this Lunar Eclipse should be felt for a little over 5 months. 

As we have mentioned many times in the past, Full Moon’s energies deal with the end results of matters which began at the New Moon phase in the same sign (six months previous).  Under the Full Moon energies is a perfect time to reap the rewards for our efforts.  If we are not ready to harvest, than we can use this opportunity to surveys or review our efforts and nurturing we have put into the seeds we planted.  Do you need to fertilize the efforts a little more or weed out some clutter from life to help us get to our harvest?

Eclipses’ energies will initiate action and create change to anything that has gone dormant or stale or is considered outdated.  Many people are complacent when it comes to making change and breaking away from anything regardless of how intrusive it maybe.  These energies are required to help us move along and bring us out of our complacency.

If you have put little to no energy into your goals, this is what you will reap.  If you need to make changes, make the commitment needed to see your project or goal to harvest.  It is never suggested that you jump into change carelessly, however.  Take time and do your due diligence.

For this Full Moon eclipse (and any other event for that matter), we have to take into consideration what sign the moon falls in, which in this case is Leo.  Leo often speaks of ego related activities, sometimes in a negative manner, sometimes in a positive manner.  Leo wants control of situations and needs control.  Taking charge might be part of what this eclipse is about.  This could apply to your occupation, perhaps issues with management especially if tied to Saturn or the MC.  It could also speak in terms of relationship issues if tied to the fifth house or seventh house.  Much depends on where this eclipse (0 degree Leo) falls in your personal chart.  You also have to have a conjunction or opposition that falls within four degrees of this placement for the Full Moon energies to have a more powerful effect on you.

In older times and even today, many people fear eclipses.  These luminary events have a bad reputation.  This is largely due to the push for change.  As mentioned there is a need to push ahead and many individuals resist changes or adjustments to their lives. 

Eclipses’ energies often force change upon us; hence their reputation.  These changes and new directions are necessary;

Sometimes these changes only need to be a change of attitude or belief structure especially if connected to Mercury.  Much will depend on which planets and house are involved.  As you can imagine there is a huge difference if you have Saturn as a major influence compared to if you have Jupiter as a major influence.  This also applies to the houses involved.  Much will also depend on your reaction to these changes, as we always have control over how we respond to any given situation.  If we choose to respond in a positive open way, the changes will happen gracefully and flow; however, if we choose to fight the changes, the experience will be less than pleasant.

If change is coming your way, have courage and know that it is has been set in motion for your best interests.  We can always work our way through challenges and lessons.  No challenging condition lasts forever and with life, we will always experience change.   We can resist and create stress or we can accept and allow the lesson to be learned so that we can carry on with more knowledge and experience to make the future easier.

REKINDLING OLD FRIENDSHIPS

It is quite amazing when a friend from your past surprises you by dropping in for a visit, calling you or sending you an unexpected message.  Friends from the past have a special bond.  These friends are from a time long since passed, and they shared special memories and events that few in the present are aware of.

It is similar to taking a walk down an old country road where there is no traffic.  The trees and foliage seem to be untouched by the present world.  It is a page from the past brought back to life……rekindling an old feeling of comfort and a sense of joy.

If you are lucky enough to have someone come back into your life, do not let that special moment pass you by.  Seize the moment to reminisce and share memories.  Most likely you will be able to resume that old friendship and pick up right where it was left off.

It does not matter how long you go between meetings.  The feelings for a special friendship never fade away.  This is the magnificence of a special relationship and these meetings rekindle that special bond.  Indeed, special are the words and understandings forged and shared.

We are not suggesting trying to return to the past or to try to live there for the past is gone.  Life continues but it can be special to recall those memories and share them with someone who shared them with you. 

Do not waste your time on things that are not important.  Enjoy and grow from your life’s experiences. 

Quite often, it is refreshing to sit with an old familiar friend to review the wonders of life and to create new memories.

MIDPOINTS

In Astrology, there are a total of 78 midpoints.  Midpoints are the central location of two planetary bodies as well as the nodes, the Ascendant and the Midheaven.  Using natal Jupiter at 8 degrees 43 minutes Aries and the Sun at 1 degree 3 minutes Aquarius as an example, the midpoint would be 4 degrees 53 minutes Pisces. 

We always use the shortest distance between the two points.  In other words, if you go from 1 degree 3 minutes Aquarius to 8 degrees 43 minutes Aries in a clockwise direction you have 67 degrees 40 minutes.  If you go the other way (counter-clockwise) you will have 292 degrees 20 minutes.  You will note that the shorter route in this case is clockwise.  In other examples, it may be counter-clockwise. 

It is not necessary for you to personally calculate the mathematics as there are many computer programs or websites which can do this for you such as Astrodienst.  Astrodienst take into consideration all the planets from the Sun to Pluto, Chiron and the North Node.  The rest you would have to calculate on your own or through another site.

When you have found the shortest distance between the two planets or points or nodes, you divide this in half and this will be your midpoint.  So the midpoint in our example would be 33 degrees and 50 minutes, which will be at 4 degrees 53 minutes Pisces.

Once you have determined the midpoint of any two positions and as mentioned there are 78 midpoints, you will find a degree, minute and sign for all of these locations in the birth chart. 

Midpoints bring together the energies associated with the two planets involved, although you also have to take into consideration the strength associated with the planets involved and discuss what that might look like.  Our example of the Sun and Jupiter together would promote activities related to the goals and objectives associated with the life’s path of the individual having the chart prepared.  This could be translated into their enthusiasm towards life and what it offers through teaching related to philosophy and spirituality.  This individual may want to pursue this through the appreciation of others because of the feeling that they just cannot fail and perhaps that luck seems to follow them around.  This could also lead to a feeling that they might be better than others and they may feel superior in some way.  Ego might be enhanced. 

Since the Sun also speaks of our vitality and Jupiter promotes growth and expansion, it could suggest that there is positivity to reaching greater performance through efforts or being in general good health.

As we all have a midpoint between the Sun and Jupiter which would obviously be different for many of us unless the placement is identical in our charts, this central position would have to touch a planet or node or angle to add to this theme.  We all understand what the sextile between these two energies might look like, as well as any other aspect.  When we put a planet at the midpoint of this position it adds to the overall influence when being set off by transits or progressions.  Even if there is not a planet at the midpoint, we can use a three degree orb of influence at the midpoint and a transit or progression will set off these two planets or points, plus any aspects between them in the birth chart.

You can always look at the combined energies and obtain a free flowing expression and a challenging expression, but much depends on the aspect between the two energies or angles in the birth chart, as well as the energies associated with the two planets involved. 

For example, there would be a huge difference between a connection between Jupiter and Saturn as opposed to Mars and Venus.  If the energies go together well and the aspect between the two is positive then the potential for an affirmative release is heightened and vise-versa.  There is also a huge difference between the energies associated with trines and sextiles compared to the energies of squares and oppositions.
