NEW MOON GEMINI JUNE 3, 2019

We are experiencing a New Moon in the sign of Gemini on Monday, June 3, 2019, at 6:02 am EDT.  This New Moon has its placement at 12 degrees in Gemini.  Those individuals with natal planets particularly tied to this placement by conjunction or opposition will find that the areas of life affected (determined by the houses position) will become active with this influence. 

New Moons are suggestive of the energies conducive to new beginning or fresh starts.  With this specific New Moon, it is a time to push ahead with intellectual projects such as continued schooling and educational pursuits due to the Gemini influence.  There is an intellectual curiosity linked to this New Moon’s position and advancement or a push in this area can produce viable and constructive outcomes.  The key is to stay with the plan and not allow yourself to sway in your focus even if you become bored with the slow although likely steady developments.

There are no major aspects in transit affecting this position of the New Moon and the only minor aspect is a semi-sextile from transiting Mars.  Semi-sextiles suggest being in the right place at the right time and Mars is all about drive and ambition.  Mars is in Cancer at 12 degrees and the nurturing connection to Cancer can be quite evident with this combination.  The mind is agile, adaptable and changeable.  When linked with Mars in the sign of Cancer, the need to take care of those we love is high.  We might apply this energy through mental stimulation and an applied effort to raise the emotional state of someone close to us.  There is an intellectual connection with how we might go about accomplishing this.  We can apply energy and drive to this focus, and with consistency, help the individual in question rise above any issues that they may be experiencing.

This may be tied to a family member perhaps a masculine child or parent and may also include housing or home-care and a protective urge with an “instinctive” action on your part.  This may be a time when you search for alternative housing for a family member in need and an analytical nature should be applied.  Look for a place that offers support from a mental perspective as well as any physical needs.  This is especially true if the fourth house is involved and may also be tied in with your children if for example the fifth house is involved.

Signing agreements or making plans for educational pursuits, as mentioned, may also be part of the process and if the natal positioning of planets are tied to this New Moon favourably then this might be a good time to make plans for furthering your education especially if the ninth house is part of the picture. 

Early education tied to your children may also be part of the picture if the third house is involved. 

As you can see, the house position is very important.

As in the case of all New Moons, this is a time to push ahead with plans and formulate action, especially so with Mars tied into the equation.

MOTION AHEAD

Is it time to regain your momentum? 

Is it time to abandon thoughts that no longer serve a real and positive purpose? 

Are you lost within philosophies that amplify and focus on discord?  Do these not only serves to stifles your growth and leaves you with a heavy heart? 

Each one of us has the ability to step out of these conditions and to experience happiness and peace.  We deserve every ounce of happiness that we allow ourselves to experience.  Why limit this experience? 

By releasing any form of belief structure that holds us back, we can then allow happiness.  Happiness is an inside job.

It is time to recognize that we ARE the architects of our own destiny. 

We can let go of anything that holds us back.  We can let go of any thought that cultivates sadness and shame.  We can let go of any thought that suggests that we will not succeed or are not entitled to succeed. 

We truly hold the key to our destiny.  If we are not on the path that we would like to see ourselves on, we can change our focus and change our journey.  

We can accept the possibility that we deserve happiness.  Happiness is meant to be a part of our journey.  It is not the destination.

We are perfect in every aspect, for perfection is found within each and every one of us.  We are only held back by our perceptions and beliefs.  It is within our power to move in any direction, to take life and to mould it into whatever we want.  Simply believe...with all of our hearts and our minds.  Live as thought our desires are already in place.

We can start small to build our confidence.  Begin with something that we believe “might” be attainable, and then we can set our sights on it and make it happen. 

Next we can change our attitude from “might” to “undoubtedly”.  Over time and by applying this focus and these values, we will observe a shift and understand that we actually are in control of manifesting within our life. 

We will experience turning points and we will also have to push beyond past doubts.  By making the decision that we will only focus on positive affirmations and positive results, we will create positive outcomes.  This does not mean that life will not present challenges, but if our focus is on the positive, we will see these challenges as building blocks not stumbling blocks. 

We are at the creation of our experience through our focus, every step of the way.  Our focus IS IN OUR CONTROL.  We can set our focus and evaluate our progress, not from where we have been, but from the wonderful potential that lies ahead.

THE PROGRESSED MOON AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE

The progressed Moon moves just over one degree per month and moves through a sign in approximately 2 ½ years.   The progressed Moon moves through the entire Zodiac at approximately the same rate as Saturn and makes its return in approximately 29 years give or take a year either end to its natal position.  The progressed moon return therefore has a profound impact on the Saturn return period. 

The progressed Moon makes aspects throughout the whole chart while in the same house for its 2 ½ year stay and will affect each and every planet and angle for a three month period when it makes contact.  Again, its influence is powerful and quite influential. 

The progressed Moon travelling through the Zodiac will be influential when it is within a degree of being direct with any planet or angle in the chart.  The conjunction, square and opposition are the most marked for change and restlessness, and these can often be relied on to create activity in an individual’s life.  The conjunction is especially powerful as it intensifies the planetary energies as well as the house placement.  The house placement will be the area of life that will be affected and the planet or point in the chart being activated will be experienced through the energies connected with that particular planetary energy.

It is seldom that, when the progressed Moon ties in with the Midheaven, the career is not affected as well as the home and family.  When it ties in with the Ascendant, activity often takes place on a very personal level and many individuals with this influence in their progressed chart will also be addressing relationship influences. 

With the Sun involved in contact to the progressed Moon, it is often the perfect time to take advantage of opportunities to move ahead in your life’s pursuits especially when the progressed Moon is in positive aspect to the Sun. 

The progressed Moon is often used as a timer for events of significance and nearly always suggests that the particular house position’s area of life will be affected.  Often fluctuations occur and if, for example, the progressed Moon makes an aspect to Venus in the second house, it is quite possible that your finances will be affected.  With Pluto, for example, in the second house making an aspect with the progressed Moon not only are the finances subject to fluctuation but this individual may experience dynamic changes.  These changes that take place are often permanent or have a lasting effect.  Security issues would also be part of the process with the progressed Moon making aspects to planets in the second house.

The progressed Moon is an emotional indicator and if the planet or angle being affected has several stressful aspects to it in the birth chart, more tumultuous and sensitive conditions can be expected than if the planet in question were well aspected. 

The birth chart is a blueprint of your life.  It will be an indicator of lifelong challenging conditions or positive influences that will be rectified over time.  Some indicators can remain a challenge for many years or work in a positive manner for the individual in question each time they become activated through transit or progression. 

Our natal char is our signature and any planet or angle’s energies, regardless of how challenging the condition in the birth chart, can be rectified or challenged and turned around over time.  We are not saddled with difficulties on a permanent basis.  The challenging aspects in the natal chart are put in place for us to overcome and to learn and gain strength from.

The progressed Moon does not have the same impact that the natal Moon has unless other major transits or progressions are in effect at the same time.  The angular house cusps also play an important role when aspected by the progressed Moon, as angular house cusps are indicative of action areas in the chart.  These angular house cusps apply to natal placement as well as progressed placements. 

Changing conditions are often very apparent when the progressed Moon activates an angular house cusp.  The angular house cusps are the Ascendant or AC or ASC, the Midheaven or MC, the fourth house cusp or IC, and the seventh house cusp or DC.

LET LIFE LEAD

It is important to put our energies into constructive outlets and to build a solid foundation in life.  There are times when life directs us to push forward and there are times when life directs us to stay put and contemplate new ideas. 

If we follow these leads, we find that we are less prone to struggles.  We are being led by a higher force that is familiar with our needs and knows what is best for every situation at hand.

Sometimes the directions are very straight forward and then again sometimes the directions are more subtle in their expression.  If we are tuned into the energies and we allow awareness to bloom, we will not misconstrue these subtle nudges.  Much depends on how open we are to the information being received. 

We do, however, always have a choice, as the learning process is always in our hands.  We might do well to listen to the advice when it comes our way, however.  The lessons are learned much more easily when we adhere to the energies.  Most times it is best to allow life to lead but there still will be choices to be made even with this allowance.

When life seems to dictate, there is undoubtedly a valid reason.  Perhaps if left to our own decisions, we may have taken a more challenging route or perhaps we may have made a choice that would hinder our intended progress.  We are rarely at the mercy of life, but when we feel as though we are, perhaps it is best to take a back seat and see where life takes us.

It is important to value all options before deciding on any course of action.  Pay heed and resist resistance when a route seems inevitable. 

To fight our lessons serves only one purpose and that is to make the lesson a hard one. 

Our intuition, when allowed to develop, seldom will lead us astray.  Life will take us where we need to go to learn the lessons required.  The path of lease restriction allows life and its energies to flow.

Be positive and visualize dreams.  This will lay the foundation to assist in laying out a clear vision of the route required.  Today is in our hands and today is all we required.  If we open to the energies that guide, we will not have to question the route we are taking.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE OPPOSITION NATAL MOON

If you have your natal Moon in the sign of Virgo, transiting Neptune could be in opposition to this position, depending on the degree of your Moon. 

Oppositions often involve other people and the Moon has a huge influence on your emotional makeup and your reaction to life’s events.  During this phase, you will have to be aware that you could be highly influenced by others, perhaps by deception or you may have a difficult time seeing through a veil of uncertainty.  Neptune tends to make life’s issues rather cloudy.

As mentioned, the Moon has a significant influence on our emotions.  During this phase, if you have this aspect in your chart, you may find that you are experiencing odd or unusual mood swings.  People seem to affect you even if you are not aware of it.  If you find that you moods suddenly shift for no apparent reason, check to see who is in your surroundings and what is transpiring in their life currently.  You may be taking on their energies on a subconscious level.

Your intuition may be somewhat off and although Neptune can inspire great intuitive insights and clairvoyant abilities, you would be wise to have someone who knows you well offer their insight before you make any sudden adjustments to your life.  If your world’s view is obscured and uncertain, understand that this could be due to the influence of Neptune, and life should become clearer over time as this aspect moves away from being an influence in your chart.

Your inner feelings may not be too accurate during this aspect, and you may be reading things incorrectly.  Again, it is best to ask others for their opinion, but make sure that they are reliable and trustworthy. 

If this energy is affecting a love relationship, you may find that you are having trouble seeing your mate with clarity, even if you feel you are.  You may be putting them on a pedestal and not seeing them for who they actually are.  Eventually you may be disappointed to find out that they are only human after all.

The home and family may also need some attention as these are areas ruled by the Moon especially if the Moon is in the fourth house, if Neptune is currently transiting through the fourth house or if your natal Moon rules the fourth house. 

If the fifth house is highlighted, perhaps this energy may involve your children or your lover.  Your creativity might be heightened if the fifth is highlighted. 

If the sixth house is highlighted, take care of your health and make sure you are eating correctly and exercising appropriately.  Health can be affected because of what is taking place in your life.  Mental confusion is often an off-shoot of this aspect and can create energies that make it hard to diagnose illnesses.  There would have to be other factors in your chart suggesting something similar with your health as well.  You need at least three indicators in your chart suggesting something similar to each other to have an actual influence in your life.

Make sure you are looking at life from a positive perspective, as Moon in Virgo has a tendency to over-analyze everything and tear apart even the best of conditions. 

Always focus on the positive in life as you draw similar energies into your life as those energies you are concentrating on.  Although this may be a troublesome transit for some, you can learn a great deal about your intuitive insight and how the mind operates.  The greatest lessons come from the most challenging conditions.  Use the energies in positive ways to enhance your spiritual understanding and intuitive insight.

HOW DO WE REACT TO CERTAIN WORDS OR ACTIONS?

We have heard much talk lately concerning negative treatment. 

Imagine that you have just been mistreated, perhaps physically, mentally or emotionally.  As a result, you are not only hurt but you are also angry and many may even want revenge.  How do you deal with this?  What is your react - in thought and in action?

Throughout life, I am sure you have heard the statement “Two wrongs do not make a right”.  Do we just sit by idly and let negative action slide? 

This may not be the first time you have been victimized by this individual.  Last time, you may have done absolutely nothing and just let the actions slide.  Is this why it has happened again?  Perhaps your lack of action has made it easier for this individual to repeat their actions. 

YOU ARE NEVER responsible for someone else’s actions.

If you are suffering physical abuse, take action to protect yourself.  Whether this individual is your partner, friend, acquaintance or stranger, it is time to reassess your relationship with this individual. 

No one has the right to harm you intentionally.  If you live in fear because of this individual, seek assistance.  Love yourself enough to ensure you are safe and can be happy. 

If you are suffering from emotional or mental abuse, the same response is warranted.

There are certainly times in life when someone will speak hurtful words (without intent) and may not even be aware of the pain they have inflicted as a result of their actions or words.  Sometimes in anger, we can say things that are exaggerated and hurtful.  Apologizing and talking through these events most often has a positive response. 

Each of us has emotional triggers that no one else may be aware of.  Talking will uncovers unresolved issues that may have nothing to do with the individual that triggered the current emotional reaction. 

Even if hurtful words were intentional, talking it through can get to the bottom of why these were expressed.  It is better to resolve issues in their tracks than to let them fester and become bigger than they really are.  When something festers, it grows.

Forgiveness is a wonderful response for your own physical and mental health.  Do not live under the dark cloud of someone else’s actions or words.  These are things that you cannot control and are not yours to own.  They are a reflection of the individual that acted or spoke them, not you. 

On the other side of the coin, if you are the one that caused the hurt, remember it takes a strong person to admit they were wrong even if it happened in the heat of an argument.  Admit your words or actions and apologize.  Your remorse will go a long way to heal the recipient of your words but most of all, you will benefit from your own apology as well.  Even if the words that were spoken had a flavour of truth, it is not wrong to apologize for striking out at someone. 

If you feel the desire for vengeance and really want to get even, recognize that although you might actually feel temporary relief after seeking your revenge, it IS temporary.  Buddha has been quoted as saying “Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned”.

You WILL heal if you choose to let go and not own the actions or words of someone else.  Forgiveness is a giant step forward in healing.  There have been some very meaningful relationships formed through these types of interactions.

Let love be your guide.  Come from a place of love and peace for self and for all others.  If you truly look for this, it can easily be found because this is your true identity.

TRANSITING JUPITER CONJUNCT NATAL VENUS

Jupiter is known as the great benefactor and often bestows good luck, good fortune and expansion into everything it touches.  When connected to the planet Venus, the planet of love and romance, it often brings good fortune into this area of life.  It offers a peaceful time, and you may find that your lover or your friends brings out the best in you.  You feel comfortable and your mannerisms are gentle and very loving.

If you are in a new relationship, this could be when the relationship will grow to new depths and this aspect will offer not only love and excitement but also enough space so that you can make a choice as to when you want to be together and when you prefer to be by yourself.  In a new relationship, which may have a lot to offer, you may find that you want to spend more time together; however, you probably will not feel tied down under the influence of these energies.  You find that you both give the other enough space and freedom to be yourselves, especially if Uranus is somehow connected to this conjunction.

This is a great time for social gatherings, and you may find that you wish to share your life with more people during this aspect’s influence.  Party going in wide open spaces may be very appealing especially when connected to nature. 

Watch for becoming too lavish as Jupiter has no boundaries.  Also watch for overspending as when this transit is finished, you may find that you went overboard. 

You may also be tempted to travel to lush and beautiful surroundings at this time.  Foreign culture may be very exciting to you and you may even meet someone while abroad.

Self-indulgence on some level is likely. Be careful not to overdo things.  Many will gain weight during this time as food seems very tasty, especially if somehow this is connected to your Ascendant. 

As you can see, you will enjoy life on many levels.  You want to be around beauty and anything gruff and abrasive does not suit you during this time.  Move away from these.  You are meant to enjoy yourself and share your life with those that matter to you most, especially when this aspect is present in your chart.

HINTS ON CONNECTING WITH YOUR GUIDES, PART II

We are continuing our post on meditation and connecting with our guides from May 16, 2019.

We cannot stress how important it is to stay open to the possibility that each one of us can get to experience great meditations.   All too often people listen to their ego and they come to believe that they could not possibly have a meaningful contact with their guides and higher self.  Ego may suggest that we are not evolved enough or not spiritual enough or simply not able.  Any thoughts that say it can’t be done are ego generated.  Everyone has the ability; it is a natural born ability for each and every one of us. 

When attempting to contact a higher source, we can create the feeling that we are waiting for someone to knock on the door or for someone to walk in.  We should know they are coming and that we are waiting on them to enter or make themselves known to us.  This anticipation opens the door and allows the energies to enter our awareness.

Many of our guides operate on slightly different frequencies.  Some may have a difficult time communicating, while others are quite adept at communication.  Once we open the door, they enter freely and easier. 

Be God centred and call in those who are highly evolved.  Do not hesitate to make this requirement known.  Ask for the pure of heart and for guidance that will further our pure evolution.  Above all else, do not let fear (ego generated) to enter into the experience.  Fear will slam the door closed and halt everything.  Do not align with ego and its fear-based focus.  Our ego is not who we are and we should not identify with it.

It may take time but eventually we will begin to recognize when our guides are in our presence.  It can be a feeling, it may be a message, a taste, a smell, a knowing.  Their energies can often be felt once we are able to recognize them.  Many people ignore the signs as they do not recognize this communication as such and the messages pass them by.

These experiences are called super-natural.  Think of these words and we will understand that it is a normal, natural process that we over evolution have dismissed.  As children, we were told that we should stop our imagination, our exploration, our innocence, our openness.  Now as adults, we yearn for that childlike openness and awareness.  Allow that door to reopen to our natural perception.

We can connect with our angels, our guides, our higher self and our family members that have passed over simply by realizing and accepting that they are with us.  Persevere and if we are persistent and open we will experience and receive the messages.

We will find what we are looking for if we are open to the subtle energies, for those that come calling are gentle, compassionate and loving souls.  These guides stand by us and are always ready to assist us any time we ask.

SUN IN GEMINI - MAY 21, 2019

The Sun moves from a fixed earth sign, Taurus, into the mutable air sign, Gemini late on May 21, 2019.

There is quite a difference between these two signs.  Taurus is about reliability and structure as well as a gradual push toward material achievement.  Gemini, on the other hand, is spontaneous and adaptable.  They are usually changeable and are open to learning often through life experiences. 

While Taurus can be fixated in its opinions and what might be referred to as surefooted and stubborn, Gemini can be open to suggestion and versatile when it comes to having an opinion on almost any matter whether it is considered important or not. 

As you can imagine, anyone who is cusping from Taurus to Gemini would likely live their life as if they were two separate beings.

Gemini wants to learn to build knowledge and to be well spoken.  Conversation is extremely important to anyone with a strong Gemini influence in their chart.  They have a lot to share and are most likely better at talking than they are at listening. 

Gemini is willing to take chances and lives in the moment.  They need excitement perhaps not as much as your typical Leo, but life has to have an imaginative quality and be an adventure.  Gemini’s personality is changeable, moody, excitable, mentally stimulating and wide open to what life has to offer.  Gemini individuals would benefit from learning to finish what they set out to do and to not allow themselves to become bored if they are not being stimulated on some level.

Gemini is inquisitive and able to mould themselves to shift to any given situations.  They are even open to confrontation, unless it gets physical.  They certainly enjoy a good debate and they don’t have to be right.  In most cases, ego will not get in the way of learning. 

Gemini individuals are ruled by the planet Mercury, the planet of the mind and many are considered intellectuals.  Mercury however will need to be well placed in the natal chart and not have too many challenging aspects to it.  Even with challenging aspects to Mercury though, Gemini will find a way to work things out.

At present, Jupiter is in Sagittarius which is in opposition to many of those with their Sun in the sign of Gemini.  You will have to check the ephemeris to see if your Sun will be in opposition to Jupiter this year.  Jupiter remains in the sign of Sagittarius for most of the year moving into Capricorn towards the end of 2019.  Jupiter, although it is in what is considered a challenging aspect to the Sun, actually works well in this position.  Jupiter tends to expand on things, bring good luck and sometimes easy flow.  There are exceptions, however, but growth on some level is often associated with Jupiter.

The Sun has to do with our goals in life and also our most inner self.  Jupiter in this position may expand or bring forth feelings of opportunity for advancement.  It may also expand on your inner awareness.

FULL MOON SCORPIO - MAY 18, 2019

We will be experiencing the harvesting energies of a Full Moon in Scorpio on May 18, 2019 at 5:11 p.m. EDT.

For longer range plans and motivations set in place some 6 months ago under the energies of the New Moon in Scorpio look for end results now.  The Full Moon’s energies are conducive to reaping the rewards from all of your efforts made to this point.

For shorter range objectives, look back to the last New Moon was in Taurus on May 4. 

Under this current Full Moon both of these previous “planting” periods that would have been taken advantage of can now reaching the final stages of development (if you have put the necessary work into your goals that you set). 

With a Full Moon at 27 degrees Scorpio, this is a powerful connection with potentially deep-seated ramifications.  This is a very emotional placement and also likely a very sensual and driven placement as well.  If you have planets located close to this degree (up to 3-4 degrees separation) and either in conjunction, opposition or to a lesser degree square, trine and sextile to this placement (see www.holmastrology.com for information on these aspects), this Full Moon will be affecting your natal planetary placements.  Be sure to look at the position of the Full Moon by house position as this will be the area of life that is being activated and then have a look at the aspects to the natal planetary positions (house position, aspect and planetary energy) as this will give you further insight.

This is a very high-strung energy where the emotions are high, and you can expect a certain degree of volatility with this placement. 

This can be a sensual positioning with strong sexual drives linked to the emotions which, to say the least, run deep.  It is a mysterious connection where secrets may come to the surface or at least be brought to the surface for those involved and then hopefully appropriately dealt with.  The connection is also likely tied to the mystical or occult.  Delving deep into these profound subjects with an analytical eye on self is highly suggested, even if you have nothing touching this position. 

Self-reflection is never a bad idea, although honesty is a general requirement for all essential information to be revealed.  If you don’t like what you see, you can make changes and if you like what you see, adhere to what is exemplified.

There is also a connection to the planet Mercury.  The Moon will be making an opposition to Mercury in Taurus at 24 degrees.  Mercury, the planet of the mind and communication, is suggesting that although Scorpio is rather subdued and internalized, you need to communicate to receive more information and collaboration with what you are coming to terms with. 

Mercury in the sign Taurus wants to take a rational approach to what is surfacing and Scorpio, which is the Moon’s placement, is all about emotions.  As a result, it is important to rationalize emotional impacts and sensitivity to the sub-conscious can be quite the challenge.  Oppositions usually suggest that other people are involved in the equation and this is, in part, why you should take into consideration open and honest communication with others.

HINTS ON CONNECTING WITH YOUR GUIDES, PART I

Neither our family members who have passed over nor our guides are ever very far away.  They are with us frequently especially in times of need. 

Our guides can change over time as they are there to help us during specific times in our lives and when their specific energies and expertise match our area of required growth at the time.  Many guides can come and go but there can be specific guides that are with us throughout our life time.

For those wanting to enjoy a clear connection with their guides, meditation is an invaluable tool. 

For those that have never meditated before, to help get started, there are guided meditations available through many online sources, and you will undoubtedly find at least one or more that will work well for you.  Our particular personal vibration will fit certain procedures or methods more than some others.  We can keep trying difference methods until we find one that works best or resonates with us. 

Do not expect some over-the-top experience.  The connection is very subtle at least in the early stages.  It is like a muscle.  It takes practice and experience to get consistently proficient at clearing our mind.

Alternatively, we can meditate without guidance and simply use the sounds of nature or complete silence in our meditation practice. 

Some meditation experiences are simple silence and peace.  Do not underestimate this experience.  It is a wonderful one.  This is an ideal method to reduce the chatter and rejuvenate the soul, mind and body.  This mediation can certainly brings us strength and courage during trying times.  To quiet the mind also helps us to de-stress.

Meditation practices are a tool to clearing the stress and chaos of life.  This can be an invaluable practice to opening up to our guides.

There are certainly times when we are connecting yet we are completely unaware of the subtle communications.  This lack of awareness often deters some of us from continuing our practice as we feel as though we are getting nowhere or that our progress is stifled. 

Watch for ego interference.  Ego will tell us that we are never ready for this connection.  Rest assured that we are always ready and we would not even be attempting to connect if we were not.

Some meditations allow the subtle voice within to provide us with helpful information.  This quite voice does not operate the same way that our speech does.   We may catch our minds repeating the message offered by our guides because this information does not come through on normal channels.  Some people’s experiences are that the words received from spirit/guides/higher self are not actually in the form of normal spoken words as the message is received instantaneously.  The message received does not take the normal time for the information to be processes such as when we are listening to oral conversation.  It is as though everything is said in an instant and comprehension is complete and clear also within the instant that the information is provided to us.  It is as though a whole sentence or even a paragraph is said instantaneously, all at once and this is foreign to the physical mind so our mind repeats the words.

Experiment with different ways of meditation over the next several days and we will continue our look a connecting with our guides on May 21, 2019.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE SQUARE NATAL VENUS

Transiting Neptune has a veil of uncertainty attached to its energies.  Neptune especially in challenging aspect has some vagueness to it.  It can make things very unclear or uncertain and can leave us in a bit of a fog. 

Neptune’s energies suggest that we go beneath the surface and uncover the truth of the situation or life conditions which are in front of us. 

Neptune in transit has a psychic or intuitive flavour to it; and in many cases, if we listen closely, we get information that is relayed to us through the unconscious or our sub-conscious mind.  Neptune is closely tied to mysticism and spirituality and as we lift that veil of uncertainty, we are guided by forces greater than our mere mortal energies.

Venus on the other hand has to do with love and affection and is sometimes tied to the finances.  It can also refer to a young female or women in general, but if linked in some way either through transit or natal aspect to Mars, it often has to do with sexual alignment and love connections. 

The house positions involved will give greater detail into what area of life is involved and as usual, check the natal placement of Neptune and the aspects that natal Venus makes in the birth chart. 

If this connection between transiting Neptune and natal Venus is tied to relationships of significance as indicated by those things we have suggested you check in your chart, then there may be some confusion or idealism in this relationship.  It may be best to have input by close reliable friends and family as you may not be getting the whole picture or your mind may be playing games with you. 

If, for example, transiting Neptune or Venus is tied to the fifth house this may indicate that a romantic relationship is what this aspect is speaking about.  If this is tied to the seventh house then the marriage may be going through some challenging conditions. 

Square aspects, however, can be quite aggravating and often force us into action.  As we maneuver our way through the obstacles, we eventually uncover the truth and see things as they are.  Sometimes we will not get the full picture until Neptune passes out of orb which is at about 2 degrees past being direct.  If Neptune goes into retrograde and passes over the same position again then there is further work yet to come, but in most cases the first direct alignment is usually the most powerful.

Many individuals reading this post may feel somewhat dismayed by what the story is suggesting.  However, it should be noted that all aspects over time have favourable conclusions.  One way or another, the truth is revealed and the veil is removed, and we continue moving in our guided direction.  There are no mistakes along the way even if after the fact we find out that what appeared to be the wrong direction in the moment is actually the best route we could have travelled.  It may not be a pleasant experience but it was what was needed to learn the lesson at hand or to move through to our needed final outcome. 

All conditions are favourable on some level regardless of aspect configuration and they are meant to be.  All lessons are for our greater good, even if it does not look or feel that way during the experience.  We learn from life and many times we don’t clearly understand the “why” behind events.  The outcome may not seem favourable at the time, but the lesson learned is what was important.

THE RIVER OF LIFE

No matter what our expectations may be, life is always on track. 

This journey is not always a smooth ride.  After exhausting efforts to paddle up stream and getting nowhere, we hopefully at some point allow the boat of life to turn around and flow with the current.  By doing so, we allow our faith in the process to take over.  The current of the water (energies of life) is set in motion to guide and assist us throughout our journey.  Our expectations and attitude can make the ride rather rough or these expectations and our attitude can make the journey enjoyable.  More often than not, we do not recognize that we have this choice.

We can certainly make adjustments along the way but we will never conquer the current by trying to paddle up stream.  Our focus and our attitude towards the journey are what guide our boat. 

If we are unhappy with our journey, we have to examine why we feel that way.  What expectations have we put in place? 

What lesson do we need to learn to continue downstream smoothly? 

Nothing within the river is there to hinder our journey.  The rocks are not there for our convenience or detriment.  They just are.  If we run into one, maybe it was time to stop and utilize the rock as an anchor to take time to appreciate the view. 

When we come to a “Y” in the river, we can take either route.  Both will lead us to the ocean.  One route may have more rapids than the other but once we have committed to which direction we are going, there is no turning back or we would be paddling against the current again. 

We can’t place the blame for the current in our river of life on anyone or anything.  The route with the rapids may be more of a struggle but the lessons learned to navigate safely are invaluable. 

Life has many choices and paths to follow.  There are many avenues of expression along the river of life.  We cannot wish the obstacle to be gone but we can certainly learn to maneuver around them or use them to our advantage.    

Remain focused throughout all of life’s experiences.  Stay true to yourself and do what must be done.  Never take the lessons being taught to be a personal provocation. 

It is also important to understand that allowing is not a form of giving in or giving up.  Letting go and giving up are two very different choices. 

You have what it takes to overcome whatever comes between you and contentment (usually your attitude). 

If you get stranded as most of us do from time to time, do not be afraid to reach for the life lines thrown to you.  Remember, we are not alone in this journey.
