ASTROLOGICAL BASICS ARE ESSENTIAL

Sometimes it is good to have a bit of a re-freshener with the basics of Astrology.  The fundamentals are essential and need to be practiced even with the most advanced techniques.  In the field of Astrology, we will always be a student.  It is important to recognize that we will NEVER know all that there is to know about Astrology. 

As an Astrologer, it is essential to always be open to and welcome continued education because, as mentioned, we will be a permanent student.

The sign and house positioning of planets and significant angles (MC, ASC, DC, IC) are the most relevant in determining the areas of life (houses) and the relevant signature traits (signs) inherent with a chart.  Always look to these positions and placements to get a clear picture of the energies in the chart.  House placements and Sign positioning emphasis containing such as a Stellium will be greatly enhanced.

The Sun, the Moon and the Ascendant are determining factors in the individual’s expression and these also speak of the character traits of an individual.  A Stellium, for example, in the sign of Leo or an emphasis in the fifth house ruled be Leo, will significantly change the character of someone with a Virgo or Capricorn Sun for example.  This is a perfect example of why some people do not fit the description of their Sun sign character traits (and for the simple fact there is so much more involved in an Astrology chart than just the Sun sign).

Tight aspects between Planets or Angles have a profound impact on the energies of the planets or angles that are being aspected.  For example, using the Leo signature again, it will be very difficult for the Sun in Leo to have the usual flair and ego consciousness if there is a square from let’s say the Moon and Saturn.  It would take hard work to bring to the forefront the emotional response of the typical Leo and its release of energy due to the square from Saturn (restrictions) and the Moon (emotions).  This individual would have to work very hard to express themselves emotionally in comparison to say someone with a Leo Sun with a conjunction from Mercury, Jupiter and Venus or a rising sign of Leo.

Angles or aspects from other planets help determine how challenged or with what ease an individual has in releasing the energies from that planet.  The energies are also influenced greatly by the energies of other planets.  For example, a Sun in Leo individual with a conjunction to Uranus in Leo would also be somewhat eccentric in their expression and have a very unique character.  With a Pluto conjunction this individual would express themselves in a more dynamic manner and have great power in their self-expression.  This could point to leadership abilities being enhanced, but could also indicate a domineering individual.

Astrological configurations, as well as an emphasis on an aspect or a lack of an aspect, will also have a profound effect on the individual’s life journey.  A person with a Grand Square will have many more challenging conditions in life than someone with a Grand Trine.  The Grand Square individual will have opposing factors within their life’s mission but can use these energies to propel them forward in life once these energies are harnessed. 

The Grand Trine individual will have a greater ease in obtaining benefits than that of other individuals, but may also become complacent and sit back far too much when they should be pushing themselves forward.

These are a few examples of the factors which must be considered when deciphering a natal chart   Although they may seem rudimentary, they are significant and should never be overlooked when delineating an individual’s Astrology chart.

BELIEVE IN YOUR ABILITIES

It is important to realize and accept what you make great contributions to the world around you.  This is not to stroke your ego.  It is necessary to recognize because your part is important, and you should never underestimate what you are here to do.  In your opinion, it might seem insignificant and you might underestimate what you consider are your redeeming qualities.  Understand that this is “your” perspective and this perspective can be distorted.  Others undoubtedly view your capabilities on a totally different level than you may.

When you render your innate qualities and talents as useless and/or insignificant, you sell yourself short.  You may even be blocking the ultimate achievements you are here to fulfill.  The abilities of any early development are often dwarfed compared to the final outpouring after practice and nurturing of these talents.  It is important, therefore, to not sell yourself short as you will stagnate your progress in its infancy and could even halt any further possibilities for the future.  Selling yourself short serves no positive purpose but it will certainly slow down the progress and hinders the real value of your story.

Believing in yourself and your abilities, regardless of what they are, activates your evolution.  In most cases, we move forward in small steady steps but each step brings us one step closer to our individual purpose.  We have a special purpose to fulfill.... our own unique part to play in the unfolding story we call life. 

We do not know for sure where our abilities and talents are going to take us nor do we know the extent of the importance our role is in other’s lives.  Our role could be as important as parenting and guiding a child to their success.  What will their influence be on society?  In many cases what you have instilled in the minds of the young will live on in their lives and play an important role in their future.

Your occupation, your personal delivery and your attitude plays important roles in the lives of those you touch in your everyday affairs.  Do not undermine the importance of this.  Know that what you say and do touches many lives.  It is not by chance that we meet the people we do in life.  It is not by chance that we face each specific event experienced in life, although it is important not to get overly caught up in life’s events and hang on to them emotionally.  Living our lives with clear vision and relaying our message clearly through our actions is the best we can do.

We should not worry about saying the wrong thing to the point that we do not speak.  Let your words flow from a compassionate, loving heart.  We must challenge our automatic responses that we sometimes make under stressful conditions but remember too that we are human.  Each step we take is part of the process and part of the learning cycle we are meant to experience.  Life is our classroom and we experience each lessons as it is needed. 

The best we can do is to live our lives to the fullest, and explore our potential.  We can allow ourselves to awaken to our fullest abilities and know that we have our part to play in the ongoing story of life.  We are serving our purpose by living our lives, through good intentions and promoting positive energy.  We cannot do better than this.

NEW MOON AUGUST 30 2019

We will be experiencing a New Moon on August 30, 2019 at 6:38 a.m. EDT.  The New Moon will be in the sign of Virgo at six degrees. 

In order for this New Moon to have an influence in your life, you will need to have other planets close to the 6 degree mark in your natal chart.  The more planets and angles that are within three degrees of this position, the stronger the influence, in particular, any planets that are in conjunction and/or opposition to this placement and to a lesser degree those that are in trine or sextile.

In your personal natal Astrology chart, the house that this New Moon is located in will be the house that has the potential for new beginnings and a fresh start.  Those planets in the natal chart that are in opposition to this placement will often carry the flavour of someone or something having an influence on what is taking place and in many cases is the instigator or initiator of activity. 

Those planets that are in conjunction to this lunar position add to the intensity of the situation and those that are in trine or sextile will either create easy flow or opportunities to the situation at hand.  It should be noted that we can always use these energies to advance the cause or build towards something favourable over time.

These new beginnings often associated with a New Moon could be related to a romantic involvement, your children or your creativity (5^th), or your career and advancement/disappointment in this area (10^th) or your finances and material needs, along with security from an internal point of view (2^nd), joint finances, inheritance or alimony and sex (8^th).  The connection would be determined by the aspects related to this position.

This New Moon is favourably aspected by transiting Uranus in Taurus suggesting new frontiers to challenge and a new adventure to explore.  Often these apparent new paths come out of nowhere and are unexpected but point you in the right direction.  Trines, as suggested, often indicate easy flow and opportunities for advancement. 

This New Moon’s placement is also conjunct transiting Mars which often points towards the energy needed to forge ahead with these new plans.  Watch, however, for jumping into situations without any planning or forethought.  If Mars is in an unfavourable position by natal aspect to its position during transit, watch for aggressive action either on your part or the actions of others.  This aggression may cause irritations and the feelings of being bullied into action.  You may be on the receiving end or you may be the aggressor.  Be mindful.  Mars stirs things into action and often using force or aggression in some manner of expression.

This New Moon’s placement in the sign of Virgo often speaks of the need to have everything in its place and often indicates service of some sort being part of the process. 

Watch for becoming too nit-picky as the ability to see all the little flaws is often accompanied with this position.  Virgo is also very much into details and can be obsessive in the search for perfection.  Although somewhat critical in its expression, Virgo does insist on helping and pushing ahead although cautiously.  Virgo likes the tried and tested rather than the new and unexplored, although transiting Uranus will likely have something to say about that.

Enjoy the energies of this new Moon.  Plant seeds in your garden of life with the energies of this new moon, nurture them and see the fruits of your labour come to fruition.

Infinite Wisdom

It seems as though growth or change occurs quite frequently after experiencing challenging life conditions.  These challenges allow for an opening to growth channels as a result of the turmoil of life events (or the change in attitude after the challenging experience).  We seldom evolve through life conditions that are calm and collective.  These more often than not are the regeneration periods.  This appears to be the nature of our reality at least until the door of awareness opens.

Challenges come into play to assist us …lessons to helps us grow, rather than stagnating our growth.  It may appear quite the contrary when experiencing these conditions; however, once the situation has resolved, we can clearly see how we prospered because of these events.  It is difficult to understand while experiencing the process and we often feel as though we are at wits end, until finally a little glimmer of light shines over the horizon.

Remaining persistent and strong during these times can be arduous.  Understand that when life seems challenging, it is then that we have reached a place that can foster growth on whatever level is required.  These conditions continue until we have unlocked the door to the transition that eventually takes hold.  We have to learn these life lessons to evolve to that next stage.

This seems to be the learning curve that best suits us in this earthly form; although once the door to true spiritual learning has been opened, it appears to no longer be a requirement.  We need stiff jolts to push us in the intended direction in the beginning and then once we reach this culmination point, a shift takes place.  It may take years to reach this as a multitude of layers needs to be shed until we reach the finer level of enlightenment.  These early stages are the challenging ones.  It gradually becomes easier to move forward as we progress with our growth, and we become open to the dialogue offered by higher sources.

Our guides and spiritual companions are with us always and have always been here assisting us through the shadows of our lives, yet we may not have recognized their influence as we were so wrapped up in the situation at hand and the emotional impact of that time.  Our negative focus overshadowed our progress and the assistance we are and were receiving.

We continue to evolve if we remain open as this is our life’s purpose.  It is our birth right to open ourselves up to the beauty found within.  It is this path and the eventual outpouring of love that slowly allows our being to shine. 

We are spirits in human form.  We can never forget this.  Our earthly life journey is to eventually co-exist on some level consciously with each and every energy body. 

There is a knowing buried within which holds all of the information required to take that next step.  The gateway will present itself when we are ready, regardless of the eagerness we feel.  We cannot force the spiritual unfoldment to happen.  The timing is not in our hands other than the acceptance of the time it will take.  The sooner we realize this, the more readily the transition can occur.

MINI FORECAST 2019 - SUN IN VIRGO, (Part II)

We continue our mini forecast for Sun in Virgo.  Part I was posted on August 23, 2019. 

Today, we will look at the combination of transiting Pluto and transiting Saturn which are making a wide conjunction in September and October and then tightening up into the fall and early winter of 2019. 

In January, they make an exact conjunction with one another at 22/23 degrees of Capricorn and this will be when the combined energies will be at their strongest, although many Astrologer including me understand that Saturn is at its strongest at 2 degrees past direct (because of Saturn’s delayed action).  Using this past degree influence, the strongest impact will then be in early February.

There will be much controversy regarding these two planets linked together which will be discussed in full detail at a closer date.  It should be noted that this combination will affect anyone who has natal planets and points close to 22/23 degrees but should have a profound effect on many of us.

This conjunction when in relation to those with their Sun in Virgo and in and around these degrees will note that they will be experiencing a trine to their Sun position.  The Sun has to do with our goals and aspirations and also connects with our life passage as well as our inner most selves.  Pluto and Saturn together can be quite tumultuous and can easily indicate some struggles with power and transformations taking place due to these initial stages of evolution.  The evolution in question on a personal basis would encapsulate our life’s path and the goals we set for ourselves.

Trines imply easy flow and opportunities in obtaining benefits and are considered a viable and positive influence although these energies may not be easy to handle.  The outcome over time should be favourable if the other planets in the birth chart agree.  It would be wise to review all the details of what it is that you may be trying to accomplish.  Being honest and forthright if others are involved would be the best approach; any underhanded approach may prove to be futile. 

Quite often Pluto speaks of an ending of sorts allowing the entry for what would be considered new growth of relevance which points us in the right direction.  Situations that have outgrown their usefulness may be subjected to critical analysis and then laid to rest or at the very least they would have to be reformulated in such a way that they would fit the path we are now evoking. 

Saturn tends to hold on to what is known and what feels safe and does not like change of direction.  It wants us to feel safe and secure and if after careful study decides to move in a different direction, it often rewards us with more stability and security that might otherwise not have been available prior to these changes.

The foundation may be starting to formulate, and we will have to make some adjustments to that which we are creating, but most often what we are putting in place now carries with it longevity and productivity that will enhance our continued growth.  Use the energies wisely and don’t miss any steps as insisted by Saturn.

2019 MINI FORECAST - SUN IN VIRGO

(Part one)

Transiting Neptune has been between 14-18 degrees of Pisces all of 2019.  Those with their Sun sign in Virgo in and around these degrees will be having or have had the opposition from Neptune to their Sun.

Oppositions often suggest that there is an influence from others during this passage of Neptune to the Sun.  Depending on what houses are involved in you Astrology chart, others may be influencing your relationships especially with the marriage partner (7^th), your occupation and goals in life (MC/10^th house) or within the working environment and with co-workers (6^th) security matters or finances (2^nd house) the mystical side of life or occult matters (12^th and 8^th) and the list goes on.

When Neptune is making an impact in your life quite often there is a veil of uncertainty or cloudiness to life’s situations.  Things are unclear and unreliable, and the information coming through may be somewhat vague in its expression.  It is often wise to utilize the input of others during Neptune’s opposition to your sun; however make sure that you can trust these people, as in some cases some may be trying to misinform you as well.

You may have problems seeing people for who they are or your goals in life could be obscured.  Life’s direction seems unclear or vague under this influence and it is often best to wait until the cloudiness has dissipated somewhat.  If a relationship is involved, you may put the individual on a pedestal and later be disappointed when you get the real picture of them.

The Sun sometimes points towards the father or the more dominant parent, and you may not be seeing things clearly or you may have the wrong impression regarding him. 

Your insight under this aspect is often heightened and your intuitive perception may be clearer than normal, as long as you are not using your imagination.  The unconscious may provide you with information pertaining to these energies at hand and although things may be somewhat vague you may get some “guided” insight to help you along.

At times after the aspect begins to fade (due to the orb of influence separating as well as clearer insight), you may also experience inspirational activity related to the matters connected to the houses which are being highlighted in your personal chart.  Make sure you also look into the house placement and aspects to natal Neptune in your Astrology chart to get a better understanding of what areas of life are being affected.

FORMULATING YOUR TRUE EXPRESSION

It is not about building personality, although this is often a by-product; it is about finding the appropriate outlet for self-expression.  We build our character as life passes and we are constantly building our own personal approach to life through life experiences.  These experiences do seem to create some personal identification, but this identification is also subject to change because of life’s constant stimuli through events. So it this actually your personal identity? 

Our personal vibration varies in different degrees throughout life’s lessons and growth.  As we develop as an individual, we gain insight, slowly fostering our personal expression.  We are building earthly character and challenging any limiting conditions as we mature into ourselves.  As a result, we go through periods of intense transformation.  These transformations can sometimes require us to change our direction completely.

As we progress, we get reminders of who we were and glimpses of who we are becoming on this earthly plain.  It is all a developing story and the real “us” slowly, continually emerges.  This true person that we allowing to come forth slowly surfaces although the connection has always been there.  We just did not see it.  Who we are is the most natural expression of self.  In reality, therefore, we do not have to look very far to find ourselves.

The ultimate person to be is the “real” you and anything that resides outside of that true personality will be released or challenged.  Any part of us that we do not agree with or do not resonate with is not part of who we truly are.  Anything that does not feel real or comfortable, we can release simply by not identifying with it.  If we do not like what we see then we do not identify with it.  Any trait that does not resonate with us is not part of us.  It is as easy as that!

To release any of these qualities, however, we first have to acknowledge that they exist and then in recognizing this, we are free to do with them what we please.  Challenging these personality quirks provides us with many alternatives.  Moving from one thing to the next is not a challenging event if we understand the concept of self-development and self-actualization.

We are the master of our own identity.  The only challenge we will meet is deciding what to keep or alter and what to expel. 

Take control of your expression to the world and allow your true identity to be....in the moment.

THE SUN MOVES INTO VIRGO - AUGUST 23, 2019

As the transiting Sun moves from Leo, a fixed fire sign, to Virgo, a mutable earth sign, the whole idea of practicality comes into play.  Those with their Sun in this meticulous sign need to have all their cards in order before they move ahead with any of life’s plans.  As a matter of fact, these careful, analytical, duty oriented people need to have almost anything in order before they will plunge into action.

Virgoan individuals or those with a strong Virgo tendency in their natal chart are service oriented and known to be reliable, practical and well organized.  If the typical Virgo is not organized and their home or working conditions are in chaotic conditions, it is often a sign that life itself is not in order. 

These individuals are the perfectionists of the Zodiac, and they are able to spot all the little flaws that others could easily miss.

Virgo individuals make great organizers and are quite capable when it comes to any detailed work.  They make great clerical workers, planners and use their abilities of organization.  These individuals often display perfectionist abilities and set things in order with great precision.  Their attention to detail is second to none, and they are reliable and always ready to help.

Their attention to detail can also be found with health concerns or dietary implementation, as this is right up their alley.  It just comes natural to them, and in most cases, they pay close attention to all the little details and internal workings of the body.  They actually can become worry-warts and may need to learn how to lighten up a little when it comes to health issues.  They even have the potential to become obsessive in many areas of life if they leave themselves unchecked.

In general, they would love to help you organize your life or your office or even your closet.  They will take great pride in working to the best of their abilities and look for very little in return.  A good concise outcome to their efforts is of utmost importance.  Let them calculate, process and plan things out, and then sit back and watch them at work.

In relationships and with themselves, they tend to notice all the little flaws which is especially true with themselves.  If they look for things that are perfect, unfortunately not much will make this grade.  Once again, the typical Virgoan needs to lighten up and recognize that little in life is perfect and this is perfectly acceptable.  They can help themselves by paying close attention to the good things in their lives and just how magnificent life actually is.

Virgo individuals are service oriented and truly want to help.

Baffled by Life?

We often cannot help but wonder why our world is under such chaos at times.  I have been asked many times, “Why would God allow these events to take place”. 

At times some matters seem relentless.  So many individuals are filled with sadness, hatred and confusion.  It seems that there is never a day that passes without some momentous event taking place somewhere in our world.

Many of the tragedies that occur involve individuals that seem to have no connection with the cause of the events taking place.

Violence evokes more violence and so the vicious circle of hate continues without resolution, without finding peace.

Why does ruthlessness come so easily to some who have a seemly total disregard to their fellow brothers and sisters?  Many justify their actions by calling them justice. 

If we humans can easily behave in such ruthless fashions, why then can we not easily behave in more peaceful fashions?  Should it not come easy as we all crave love and acceptance?

Why can we not live side by side in peace and align with our true purpose of love and compassion? 

If it is so easy to create havoc, surely it is just as easy to create harmony and balance.

Is it not possible to live in peace and offer one another the support, compassion and respect that are so desperately needed? 

Can we not find peaceful resolutions and common ground for all to share? 

Why does there have to be violence and vindictive behaviours? 

Peace begins with each one of us individually.  We are the starting point.  We can start within our own little circle.  Self, family and acquaintances are often where the battle grounds are initiated.  If we cannot be tolerant with our brothers and sisters, how will we ever learn to be loving and compassionate with strangers? 

Have we not evolved enough to initiate the beginnings of a peaceful race or is our need for power and control more important?

Why can we not celebrate our differences?  Accept that no one is the same as we are.  Isn’t that wonderful?

We are the same also however.  Love is the core of everyone.  Love holds no grudges and causes no intentional pain.  It comforts the suffering and satisfies the hungry.  It is boundless and ever present.  It shows no prejudice, eliminates no one and is committed to peace.

TRANSITING PLUTO CONJUNCT MERCURY

Mercury’ energies deal with our thinking process.  By Astrology sign, it defines different manners of communication and how our intellect operates.  Mercury has to do with the way we define our intensions and how we stand as individuals with our own objectives and reasoning abilities.

This is the only planet that actually needs something to stimulate it, as on its own it is neutral in its function.  Transits, therefore, play a significant role in how we express ourselves.  All natal planets and angles to our natal Mercury take on a role in helping define Mercury’s energies for us, but its sign placement and house position play a big part in how the mind operates.

Do not ignore what Pluto is trying to convey.  It is important and changes may be necessary in order that we rise above details and position ourselves so that once this transit is over, we have made the necessary changes preparing us for what is yet to come.  It is often a transit of magnificent changes and transformational experiences, although possibly challenging in nature during the experience of the aspect.

When working with the energies of Pluto, this transit can be used to our benefit as we dig ever deeper into the meaning of life.  It will reveal what needs to surface and offers us opportunities to move above challenging conditions and/or to leave a stagnated situation and in doing so we will have made our mark.

This is a great aspect for self-study and any kind of research can have profound effects.  Meditation would be very beneficial and will often open doors that were previously closed.  This is a time of honest reflection as well as a time to realistically view life’s conditions.  Once we have had the opportunity to reflect, we can make constructive changes that will further our growth in the right direction.

TRANSITING PLUTO MOVING THROUGH THE FIRST HOUSE

Transiting Pluto is the agent of transformation and depending on which house it is transiting, it will embody and change the energies and areas of life represented by that particular house.  As Pluto moves into a house and crosses the house cusp, its energies are enhanced.  As Pluto transits, planets within the house by conjunction or an aspect to other planets in other houses, its energies of dynamic change and regeneration merge with the energies of the planet in question. 

Conjunctions are always the most intense experiences we can encounter, although squares and oppositions are also quite profound in their eventual release.

Pluto is very powerful when it conjuncts the ascendant and often produces permanent changes on a very personal level.  This can include changes and transformations to relationships, changes to personal appearance, to the relationships with others, to our occupation, to the home environment and other areas of expression.

Pluto moving into the first house can bring to the forefront unexpressed or ignored inner qualities or experiences that will now need to surface and be confronted.  It is best not to try to push aside things that surface under this influence.  We should deal with what comes forth.  By dealing with personal issues, we can rid them once and for all or challenge them and change them in an appropriate manner to something that will facilitate change on a permanent level.  What once was now may be inappropriate, and we make changes that will put us more in line with our life’s path and also helps us understand the more dark corners of our personality.

Some of these personality quirks need to be addressed, acknowledged and then often put to rest.  Some of these traits may not be overly pleasing but rest assured that if we ignored or tried to ignore them, they will never be resolved and the transformation that needs to take place will not take place.  When it finally surfaces, the actions are much more dynamic, harsh and life altering because even though we have tried to ignore them, they must be dealt with.

It is almost futile to resist the changes taking place as we learn to deal with life experiences under this influence.  The indicators of the need for change may be subtle in the beginning but if we choose to ignore these indicators, Pluto’s energies will gather in momentum and intensity. 

Willingly or unwillingly, we will emerge a totally different personality and life will alter significantly as Pluto’s energies transmute our inner core and present us with outer changes that affect us on a very personal level. 

What needs change will be activated and ego interference is quite possible; however, as we begin to merge into our newly forming self, what once was is replaced with permanence and what now surfaces is much more in line with our evolutionary requirements.

Pluto is very much a part of our ongoing evolutionary process and although often tedious and challenging, it will help us understand ourselves and recognize our potential as spiritual beings, if we choose to open the door to this understanding. 

A new you will emerge under this influence of Pluto.  Allow this energy to transcend your life forward and awaken you to your potential.

Fear

What is that old saying..... “The only thing to fear is fear itself.”  So many of us struggle with this truth.  Understanding the origin of fear will perhaps provide us with a clearer perception of exactly what fear is.  Pure unadulterated fear is a primary response for survival.  It is a natural reaction to keep us safe. It is not only an emotion response but also a physical response.  Fear of true danger is a good things. 

Today, we are going to look at the imagined fear--the fear that originates from the go.  We cannot conquer this imagined fear until we realize why we experience it.

Fear has many faces.  It can come at us from all directions and in many shapes and forms.  Fear can be a passed-down belief in something that prevents us from reaching or seeing the truth. 

Personal fear stems from the ego and perhaps rises due to our feelings of self worth.  Are we good enough to accomplish what we set out to achieve?  Are we pure enough?  Are we smart enough?  Are we capable?

Fear is based on our belief structures and our concepts that we perceive as truth, whether we have tested these truths or not.  How often do you hold yourself back because a part of you, your ego, tells you that you will not succeed?  How often, because of this ego generated fear, do you stop yourself short, because of your expectations of potential failure and/or embarrassment? 

Remember that truth lies in the beholder.  You are your truth.  If you choose to believe that you cannot do something, you have just drawn that line in the sand.  A part of you believes that in moving forward there is a potential for failure. 

What is failure?  Failure is simply a lesson for you to learn that your methods or approach require adjustment.  Understand that the fear emotion is your ego.  It stops you from accomplishing anything and everything.  In order to grow and learn, you must see tour ego for what it is.  Learn to bring its manipulation under control so that you can move forward, accomplish and grow.

If you follow the advice of your ego and allow its negative influence to reign, chances are you will never venture out beyond your preconceived notions.  "Should have, could have and might have" will be your motto in life. 

Your beliefs play a very significant role in what actually takes place in your life.  This fear is generated by the ego.  In challenging any negative belief structures and by not identifying with ego generated concepts, we will open new doors for our future.  The outcome of our actions plays a significant part in our awakening.  There will be no outcome if we do not take action. We are, or should I say, the ego is the only thing that stops us from achieving and moving forward.

Fear is the ego’s strongest survival defense mechanism and fear can manipulate your unfolding story to the point of stagnation.  We are not suggesting that to put yourself in true harm’s way but when it comes to moving forward and growing in this life, you cannot let the ego stand in your way.  You can accomplish anything, so make your pursuits in life worthy ones.  Take the necessary steps required to achieve and bring into life those things that will not only benefit you but will also serve a higher purpose for those around you. 

You can gauge your efforts by asking yourself, “Is my search coming from the heart”?  If your answer is yes, move forward in anticipation of something positive manifesting in your life.  You can do it.  You can find it.  You have all you need, if you believe.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS

Our next Full Moon phase will be on August 15, 2019 at 8:31 a.m. EDT.  This Full Moon will be located at 22 degrees in the sign of Aquarius.  Aquarius’ energies are highly connected to humanitarian concerns.  Aquarius wishes nothing more than to persuade others to find their way out of complacency and begin anew.  Anything old and outdated can now be released so that the way is cleared for what comes next.  We cannot reach for the next rung on the ladder of life if we do not let go of the one we are holding onto.

The Full Moon, as mentioned many times in the past, is the time to harvest the fruits of our labour set in motion on the New Moon phase some six months ago.  With an Aquarius influence, this is a time to purge and rid ourselves of unwanted materials.  If what we began some six months ago now no longer suits our evolutionary quest, we can move ahead or make some changes in order to forge ahead or we can cut our losses.  This is the end result, our harvest time and what we have nurtured and cared for we now bear fruit.  We only reap what we have nurtured.

Aquarius at 22 degrees is in the third decant.  This may suggest energies focused on relationships, and although the Moon always wants to nurture and take care of things, our emotions may not be in line with our intensions.  Sometimes it is difficult to release pent up emotion or to express ourselves as we want to under this lunar placement.  It is not that we are cold or unresponsive; we just might have a difficult time showing our true feelings.  As mentioned, this decant, influenced by the energies of Libra, often has to do with relationships and transiting Venus forms a tight opposition to this placement.  This can indicate some challenging times related to love and affection or women (the feminine) in general. 

Oppositions usually suggest that the emphasis or energy comes from outside.  Other individuals may cause this issue, if there is one.  Much will depend on the other energies at play currently with our natal planetary positions and important points in our personal Astrology chart.  Several squares to this positions or oppositions could indicate some challenges, while trines and sextiles often suggest easy flow and opportunities coming into play.  As always, the whole chart must be reviewed carefully to get the full picture of what is taking place at any given time.

With this moon placement, Aquarius is often associated with a cause and this might be the time when we join a group of like-minded individuals who seek to share our insights and help facilitate growth in new directions. 

There are always positive energies regardless of the planetary aspects in play.  We just need to use the energies in a favourable manner to produce the best results.
