ONE STEP FORWARD

How would you finish off this statement – “One step forward...........”.  Would it be “and two steps back”, or “in my journey of life” or would you simply leave the statement as it is? 

How you finish that statement is a good reflection of how you are currently viewing life.  Is your current view a negative one of moving backwards (two steps back)? 

Even when life appears to be moving backward, it is not.  Understanding “every event holds within it a valuable lesson” would alter this view or opinion immensely.

Life is always moving forward even when it appears as though it is not.  We learn our primary lessons from life when it is seemingly is in retreat.  These difficult lessons are actually stepping stones.  Most of our valued lessons stem from challenging conditions.  If we can maintain this perspective, we will not be affected in a negative way mentally when life’s direction seems challenged. 

Some individuals with complete faith in the process actually welcome hard lessons as they know they personally will grow in leaps and bounds when the lesson has been completed.  There are also some individuals that make negativity their identity and they believe unconsciously that by maintaining a victim status, this gives them an identity to the world. 

One step at a time is a great motto. 

We can live by accepting what has happened in our lives and then move on beyond those events.  How we react to anything in life is our choice.  Shall we allow an event to define us or shall we take from all events the lessons presented and grow from them? 

Challenges in life are ideal tools to help us grow and expand our understanding or they can assist us to change our direction in life.  There are times that we need to start over again, beginning anew and changing direction from the course we were on.  Sometimes life events will push us in that direction.  Other times we are meant to stay determined and committed to what life has presented us with. 

What a wonderful feeling of accomplishment when we have conquered a difficult situation.  What amount of faith does this build in us?

Our reactions are always a choice.  Even when life seems to dictate, our response is what we control.  Is our response to life’s conditions “one step forward”?  Recognize the potential in this statement. 

Why would we want to view life from the perspective that we may move one step forward but then likely we will move two steps back?  If this is our belief, this is how we will direct our life’s journey.

Our posts are written well in advance and this post was not written with COVID19 in mind.  We are not downplaying the seriousness of what is taking place in our world currently.  That being said, what is said here can certainly be read with our current events in mind.  This lesson at hand is certainly a big one.  Do not learn it through fear.  Do what you can to be safe but utilize this very “private” time we have been given reflect and grow.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE SEXTILE MARS

Transiting Neptune is in the sign of Pisces until April of 2025 after which it moves into Aries and no longer returns to the sign Pisces due to retrograde motion. 

In its own sign, Neptune’s energies are tied to our search for our spiritual connectedness, our psychic potential and our intuitive feedback.  Neptune is closely connected with our mystical journey; and when in Pisces, opportunity awaits those that are in search of this fulfilling energy.

As this post is written in March of 2020, a sextile from transiting Neptune to natal Mars would define Mars’ placement in an earth sign, either Capricorn or Taurus.  The closer this aspect is to being direct (exactly 60 degrees) the more powerful the energies that will be felt.  Check you chart to see if this aspect is affecting you personally.

Mars is our driving force and is known to be aggressive in its expression.  It pushes us ahead in our quest, whatever that may be and in some cases has to do with willful action.  Both placements (Taurus and Capricorn) suggest that the drive has to do with what could be called reality, perhaps in material terms, but the search is for tangible outcomes whatever it may be.  We seek out something that can be relied upon, something concrete and stable, and Neptune on the other hand is pretty much anything but that. 

Neptune is illusory and often vague in its expression.  Neptune has to do with insight and the intangible.  Put the two together and we come up with a search for or the pursuit of something that is out of the so called normal realm of existence, something that, if pursued, can become more solidified and reliable.

For those in search of mystical insight, opportunities await and the likelihood of concrete realizations is at hand.  Neptune is often an enlightening experience when it touches our natal planetary placements after the fog clears.  Neptune is illusive in nature and very difficult to analyse in terms of perceivable stabilizing realizations, but this may and can be observed on some level during its sextile to Mars in the earth signs.  Sometimes under this influence we can experience revelations of truth, tangible truth connected to the mystical side of life, not just through the unconscious mind but also through conscious realizations.

This would be a good time for those who consider the mystical realm suitable for their evolutionary growth and sextiles imply opportunities.  It will likely be up to us whether we actually pursue this or not.  Sometimes these opportunities just fall into our lap and other times we need to give ourselves a push to realize them.  Mars can now provide that push.

Check to see the position of transiting Neptune, natal Mars and also Natal Neptune by house and also by aspect from other natal and transiting positions to get a clear of what opportunities are in store.  Houses are areas of life and aspects from planets and angles will define how the energies are release and what other energies are in play. 

Enjoy this opportunity of realization and make the best of these energies if this aspect is in your chart.  It will likely unfold in unconscious terms initially and then become conscious.

Transiting Neptune Square Mercury

Neptune often has a spiritual link while transiting through the chart.  It can also be quite illusive and can create illusionary thoughts and perceptions when in line with Mercury, particularly when making a square aspect.  Again, as mentioned, however, it often has some type of link to spirituality and this is particularly so if it is in the sign of Pisces.

If you are currently experiencing the transit we are focusing on today (Transiting Neptune square natal Mercury) in your personal Astrology chart be sure to have a look at the overall condition of the other transits and progressions before coming to a conclusion on this aspect.  Remember to check the house position of transiting Neptune, the house position of natal Mercury and also the house position of natal Neptune and the aspects to it.  This will provide you with a full interpretation of what might unfold while Neptune is activated.

The energies of a square between Neptune and Mercury often point towards a misunderstanding or an inability to communicate clearly.  Your verbal expression and communicative skills will not be clear and others may have a difficult time understanding what it is you are trying to convey.  If your conversation is about intuitive and psychic experiences, however, or if you are looking for information in these areas, you will be able to find quality information.  Your inner, intuitive self might understand the material better than your conscious self at this time.  Even if the conscious self does not understand what is being presented, the information will be retained and perhaps when needed, will resurface and provide you with some needed insight or guidance.

It is best to hold off on decisions of significant matters while experiencing the influence of this aspect, such as signing documents, purchasing property or being involved with anything legal, if at all possible.  Neptune is more concerned with spiritual matters and the mundane world around you may not hold your interest or this lack of interest can cause issues later.  Under this influence, your mind may shift or you may lose track or spend time worrying about making the right decisions.

There is the potential of being deceived by others.  As a result, be careful with whom you express yourself to and whom you place your trust in.

The mind tends to be unclear and may wonder, worry and experience fear with issues that have simply been blown out of proportion.  You would do well to wait for the fog to clear.  Clear sight and understanding will afford you the ability to handle things with an insight into what is actually taking place.

Under harsh conditions especially if Uranus or Pluto are somehow part of the equation, you may need outside assistance as transformations and changes of an unusual sort might be part of the process and this will make things even more unclear. 

Professional help is suggested particularly if the twelfth house is involved or possibly the eighth house, although the eighth may be linked closer to the occult teaching and also joint finances or matters connected with legacies or inheritances. 

Be sure to have the full picture and do not allow yourself to be deceived by what appears to be truth.  Sometimes truth can be camouflaged or hidden in some way.

MAIN INGREDIENT

Without life’s main ingredient nothing would hold much significance.  What is this main ingredient?  Love, of course!

This is our foundation.  This is where we draw all of our energies from.  Without love, what can we accomplish?  What could we enjoy or how would we endure? 

Everything begins here.  No matter what we try to accomplish in our life, we need to come from a place of love.  When our actions stems from the heart, we are capable of moving mountains. 

Share love with family, whether biological or chosen, even strangers you meet along the way.  Share love even now from isolation.  Allow love to intertwine into everything you do.  Does it not begin with you?

Love yourself first and everything else falls into place.  If you cannot love yourself, you have placed your focus in all of the wrong places.  Love is within each of us and is available to all of us. 

Love has never been lost.  You have been lost as you are not recognizing its presence within you. 

Love is where we have come from and it will be where we return.  When our minds say we will never find love, recognize that this is coming from ego not from truth. 

You are the one deserving love and you are the one that will share love once you allow it.

JUPITER SEXTILE NEPTUNE - Transiting

Transiting Jupiter sextile transiting Neptune, although it has been in place since February 2020, deserves further mention.  Jupiter and Neptune are in sextile to one another almost to the end of 2020 and have strong links in February (direct February 20), in July (direct July 27) and October (direct October 12).  Don’t forget this transit is in place for everyone and can also be used in mundane astrology. 

You will have to check your birth chart to see at which degrees these planets affect your natal placements and also by what aspects.  Check also the house positions involved for further information.  They are tightly linked from 18-20 degrees, Jupiter in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces.

Jupiter expands on things and brings great growth potential.  Jupiter is also linked to good luck, good fortune, fortunate possibilities and in general all things good.  Jupiter’s negative expression is over the top expectations, over doing, overly optimistic anticipations and excessive growth. 

Neptune has to do with spiritual insight, mystical unfolding and psychic potential.  Neptune in its negative form deals with fogginess and things being unclear or the desire to escape anything that is intrusive or unfiltered in negative terms. 

These two transiting planets are linked by a sextile indicating opportunities for spiritual growth, expansive understanding into the mystical side of life and optimism with regards to higher learning and growth potential in these areas of life.

Sextile’s energies in some cases fall into your lap.  In this case, this may also be tied to growth and opportunities tied to success, whatever that means to you due to Jupiter being in Capricorn. 

At other times sextiles need a push from you and it is suggested that rather than wait on an opportunity to fall into your lap that you promote yourself and push to achieve what you would like to see in the near future.  Good luck and good fortune is part of the picture if these planets link up favourably to your natal placements.  Even if they are somewhat challenged in your chart, you can always work towards learning something of relevance during the upcoming year.

If you happen to have a conjunction, trine or sextile to one of these placements or favourable aspects to both of these positions, you can push ahead in your endeavours now and create something viable down the road or even in this moment. 

If you have Squares or oppositions to these placement then it may take some work to achieve what you set out to do, but you should always keep pushing even when there are obstacles in the way.  The worst you can do is fail or fall short and then this is when valuable lessons are experienced. 

We should understand that growth comes in many shapes and forms and are not always easily recognized as such initially.

RISE & RECONNECT WITH YOU

We are taking our focus away from the Covid 19.  We want to focus on life in general and give you some food for thought because most of us have time to do a little self-study currently.  With this in mind, enjoy the read.

Your thoughts and attitudes can be your catalyst or they can be your barriers.  Your thoughts of barriers and lack of self-worth are what stand in the way.  You are not at the mercy of others unless you allow this.  You always have command of your attitude and outlook.  Your life is meant to be lived from the highest vantage point possible.  It is our thoughts that alter our direction, because we own each thought and believe it to be real.

We are not our thoughts.  We are not our bodies.  We are not our experiences.  Following our beliefs blindly is a choice. 

We are the one that dwells within.  We are the energy that listens to the busy mind.  We are the one who is connected to Source energy.  At our fingertips, we always have what we need for this moment.

NEW MOON IN ARIES - MARCH 24 2020

The Sun and Moon align on March 24, 2020, at 5:29 EDT. 

This conjunction between the Sun and the Moon, better known as the New Moon, is in the sign of Aries at 4 degrees. The New Moon’s energies are perfect for planting seeds in the garden of life.  The more we cultivate and nurture these seeds, the greater the potential for harvest particularly when we have our Full Moon (Aries) in the same sign some six months from now.

Aries is a perfect sign for beginnings and moving ahead full steam towards our objectives.  The only possible set back may be that we do not plan enough and therefore make mistakes along the way.  As you are planning to pursue a goal under this influence, make sure that you are fully prepared before you set things in motion.  Also expect some changes along the way.

Aries is a pioneering sign and wants to be the first one to push ahead.  These individuals need no assistance and are quite willing to go it alone, depending on their resources.  Aries, ruled by the planet Mars, can be aggressive in its pursuit and needs to cultivate patience, but can move mountains if it so desires.  Action is a prerequisite at this time although as mentioned planning is also important.

If you have a planet within three degrees of this placement (4 degrees) and in major aspect (conjunction, sextile, square, trine or opposition) it will have a more powerful influence in your life than if you have no planets near this degree.  The closer to exact the degree is, the stronger the influence will be.

SPRING

Just before midnight last night (March 19, 2020), we experienced the Spring vernal equinox (Ostra).  This was a little earlier than normal but no matter what its timing was, it bares the balance of light and dark. 

There is a promise of renewal and a fresh start.  This is a time for new beginnings and refreshing that which has gone stagnant.  Our world and our lives shed their wintery veil.  Light shines forth and there is a promise of longer, brighter days. 

Eventually sprouts begin to push their way through the earth, trees begin to bud, the grass greens, snow flakes transform to raindrops and the promise of flowers show their colour in the buds.

Even without the telltale signs of nature, we know in our heart renewal is coming.  Beyond the feeling in our hearts, in a more intangible ways, we feel it in the air and smell it in the wind if we take the time to place our focus on this.

Along with this new life springing forth in nature, we experience the ability to have fresh starts in our lives.  I realize this is a little restricted this year but this too will pass.  If we allow the energies of the season to guide us instead of fear, this is a time of renewed vigor and an awakening.  This can draws us nearer to the promise of warmth and sunshine in our hearts and souls not just in nature.  We can mirror and utilize the energy brought on through the changing of the seasons to stimulate us and push us in our pursuits, new or old. 

A new beginning is at hand.  This is a new start and it brings with it the promise of the growth of our inner, core self, due to the seeds we are now planting.

This is the time to renew our motivation, to push ahead in our pursuits and find outlets which can help us renew our commitment to ourselves for further growth, expansion and evolution.  Our social restrictions have actually offered us the time and space to do this.

We may find that we now can push ahead more willingly in our endeavours, particularly those that we had allowed to slip during the winter. 

We may find that this renewed vigor propels us into new-found areas that may not have been available before this time.  It is really up to each of us as to what we plan on doing with this energy and whether we utilize it or if we waste it.

Mirror the season and take advantage of the energies at hand.  Move ahead into the new.  Reach beyond any limits we may have placed on ourselves.  The only thing that is holding us back is us.  We are our own motivation or our own stagnation.  Growth and advancement are at hand. 

What can be accomplished with these energies?  Nature is offering you something fresh and new to focus on.  Nature has provided us with hope and renewal.  Let’s move beyond the stress, embrace the restrictions we are experiencing to eliminate stress and use this time of isolation as a bonus opportunity for self-work, self-exploration and self-expansion.  Nurture your seeds of hope!

FEAR AND ANXIETY

Amid the very real concerns spreading worldwide, we still need, above all else, release from our worries and a focused on and control of our reactions.  We are witnessing a very high level of anxiety which if unchecked can also affect us personally. 

Step back for a moment, and examine your true concerns.  Recognize that, although this is a concerning outbreak, our attitude still holds powerful ramifications to our overall well-being.

We can spend countless hours, days and weeks worried about how this will affect our loved ones and ourselves, but in reality what does worry do except rob us of enjoying this moment?.  By running with fear, we are packaging ourselves into this predicament and spreading even more worry to each and every person we contact.  We are not suggesting that we should be lax and not be mindful of what we are doing and how we are doing it but with our evolving recognition of the importance of our thought processing and how our thoughts create our reality, how can fear serve us?

 

Each of us, in differing ways, will be affected by this virus, but worry and anxiety will not change things for the better.  Accepting life as it comes and knowing we influence the outcome of our experience by our reaction, we can move forward with purpose.  Our life’s mission and experiences are as they should be.  Our judgement of the experience is what adds extra burden. 

Anxiety and fear are each a virus in themselves.  We can create calm in the midst of dismay.  A gentle reaffirmation of love will go a long way. 

Do not forget your place in this evolving story and live your part by being the agent of change and love as you see fit.  Stand tall at the gates of adversity and cast your loving light in today’s dark corners.

SUN IN ARIES - MARCH 19, 2020

The Sun moves into the cardinal, fire sign of Aries on March 19, 2020 at approximately 11:51 p.m. EDT. 

Aries has been linked to enthusiasm, aggressive action and a strong push to move in a direction that can open doors for advancement or personal gain.  Many Aries have a “me-first” attitude.  Many Arians recognize that we can’t help others until we help our self.  If the push is just for themselves however and without concern for others, they may be working from the wrong end of what Aries is here to accomplish.

Fire signs, under normal conditions (depending on other influences in the birth chart), have a lot of energy and are self-driven.  Aries wants to be the first one to move ahead and because of this will learn through experience.  These individuals will make their fair share of mistakes which will require corrections along the road of life.  These can be very valuable lessons.

Aries can be a little too pushy at times, but they do feel they know what is best for whoever is in their focus especially when it comes to something they believe in.  Some Arians can develop ego issues if they don’t curb their enthusiasm into channels that also benefit others.

Aries individuals are the initiators and many would do well being self-employed.  They are not followers; they are leaders.  It is important for Arians to think things out a little longer before they plunge headfirst into a course of action.  They will make fewer mistakes along the way; but if they fall short, it may be because they struggle somewhat with staying power.  They can quickly move on to something else but also pick up the pieces and recover quickly from any past miscalculations that they may have made.

Currently, those with their Sun in Aries in and around the 23 to 24 degrees will be experiencing a tight square to the Pluto.  Pluto is the agent of change and transforms structures so that something new will emerge from the ashes of what is no longer viable.  There are no halfway measures about Pluto and in many cases things come to an abrupt end before something more viable can make its way forward. 

The Sun is our inner self.  Our goals and aspirations are often tied to the Sun sign and house position.  Much will depend on the house position of your Sun and its square coming from Pluto, but any Arians with this aspect can expect goals to undergo major transformations which are often slow to begin and slowly unfold over time.  Often we do not fully comprehend what is taking place and the why behind it until a year or so after the fact. 

If Pluto is found on the DC, this often signals an end to an important relationship or the beginning of a new one.  This is usually tied to a marriage partner or close business associate.  Much will also depend on what other factors in the birth chart are attached to the natal positioning of the Sun.  If it is poorly aspected then the transformation and regeneration can become quite challenging and some need to reach out for professional assistance under this influence.  However we should also recognize that regardless of what takes place, changes (and often total transformation) are a requirement sent from higher purposes.  Squares are difficult but on the plus side they will force us into action; action that is required. 

Those Arians with their Sun in the early degrees of Aries will be experiencing the sextile from transiting Saturn.  Saturn is the teacher of the Zodiac and when Pluto and Saturn were in conjunction in January/February of 2020, individuals with their Sun at around the 23 degrees of Aries will have experienced the square from both planets.  This would have been an intense time indeed. 

Now, however, and until June 2020, those individuals with their Sun in the early degrees will be enjoying this sextile which often points to opportunities coming their way.  However, these Arians will always have to do some work (and be diligent in their efforts) if they want to succeed.  Saturn’s requirements are hard work and a disciplined effort. 

Always use the energies at hand in the best possible manner in order to create the best possible outcomes.  Do not squander the energies at hand.

ARE YOU GIVING IT YOUR BEST?

It is important to stand by our convictions and to live life listening to our hearts. 

There are always choices for us to make along our journey yet there is a purpose to fulfill and changing this ultimate purpose, we believe is virtually impossible.  This important issue or purpose is believed to form the overall lesson we are meant to learn. 

Adjustments to the journey are constant and often we do not recognize the path before us.  We make modifications as we see fit and do what we feel is best.

It IS important to follow what we feel is best and to do our best as we continue forward.  We are human but we cannot use that as an excuse to be lazy or lackadaisical.  We can and will make slip-ups along the road, but we can always pick ourselves up and continue on.   Most “slip-ups” contain lessons that are invaluable. 

What others think of our path and our life’s expression is of no concern to us as that is a reflection of their opinion not a reflection of who we are.  Of course, we must never injure others in any way intentionally. Our effort and what we think of ourselves is what is of utmost importance.

During self-evaluation, it is important to recognize when ego is unleashing its negative or egotistical opinion.  This again is not us.  We are sparks of the source.  We should never identify with ego’s ranting.  If we see something within that does not suit who we feel we are, we simply do not call it our own.  Recognize it only as a learned tool and then release it. 

Our belief structures and our expectations form our reality.  If we refocus our thoughts, we change our course and this can be done at any given moment.  We are not suggesting denial.  Recognise, accept and release.  The shift can be permanent and extremely positive. 

Life will always have its trials and tribulations (because we are here to learn).  We can learn from anything that comes our way as long as we maintain a positive attitude.  Once we have learned the life lesson, move forward.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE NATAL JUPITER

Since transiting Neptune has been in the sign Pisces since 2011 and will remain in this sign until 2025, those with their Jupiter in the sign of Cancer or Scorpio will have either experienced this trine from Neptune or are currently experiencing this trine or will be having this trine in the not so distant future. 

Those individuals that are highly attuned to the energies of Neptune can begin to feel its energies as much as 8 degrees approaching and will still feel its energies although dissipating up to 2 degrees past direct.  Check an ephemeris to see if and when you will be experiencing this trine in your personal chart and don’t forget the closer it is to being direct, the stronger the energies.

Although Neptune can have profound effects in our chart, its energies often begin in rather subtle ways and as it gets closer to being direct, we will begin to feel its energies.  Neptune has a dissolving effect and sometimes things seem quite vague or confusing but it also has a powerful influence on our subconscious as Neptune’s energies are entangled with the mystical side of life.  Some with strong placements in the sign of Pisces (which Neptune rules) can be quite intuitive and even psychic.  Some have artistic talents such as music abilities and acting but in general with strong Pisces in the natal chart, most individuals do not like aggressive or challenging situations.  Some find their escape through the use of drugs and alcohol. 

Jupiter on the other hand has a tendency to expand on everything it touches and in many cases brings good luck, good fortune and an optimistic, favourable approach to life’s situations.  Jupiter is the planet of growth and in most cases is considered quite fortunate.  When in Cancer, this expansive nature can deal with the home and family.  Nurturing abilities runs quite strong in these individuals.  Strong Cancer individuals nurture through higher learning and through a rather philosophic approach.  Some use religious techniques while other may use positive reinforcement when nurturing others. 

When Jupiter is in Scorpio, the desire to get to the bottom of anything mysterious and occult matters runs deep.  There is a strong desire to transform one’s self through self-discovery and mystical practice.

When these two energies touch one another by trine, (a very favourable, flowing aspect) the expansiveness of Jupiter is often pushed into higher learning dealing with the mystical side of life.  Much of course will depend on which houses are involved.  Check transiting Neptune’s placement in the natal chart as well as natal Jupiter and also have a look at the natal position of natal Neptune.  Check to see what energies (aspects from other planets) are part of the picture from the natal chart and transiting planets to Jupiter and transiting Neptune.

For those that are focused on a mystical journey, this could come through as an awakening period in their life especially if Uranus is somehow part of the picture.  If by chance there are other factors in the chart at this time that are very challenging, in some cases the trine from Neptune can push things through more quickly.  In many cases, this can bring a favourable outcome, although much will depend on the individual’s attitude towards what is taking place. 

Attitude in life always plays a significant role in our experience and in recognizing that all experience on some level brings favourable results or operate as great teaching tools that will certainly help in the understanding of what unfolds.
