FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN JULY 3, 2023

On July 3, 2023, we will experience a Capricorn Full Moon @ 11° making a favourable trine to Transiting Jupiter @ 9° Taurus. This lunar position will also be in opposition to T Mercury @ 13° Gemini. Confirm that this positioning of this Full Moon is affecting any planets or angles in your Natal chart. Conjunctions and Oppositions will have the greatest impact but they must be within 3° to influence your life.

 

The Full Moon is a harvest time of what we have been nurturing over the past 6 months since we experienced the New Moon in Capricorn. The energy we put into our goals will be reflected in the quality of our harvest.

 

The Full Moon in Capricorn can be very ambitious although somewhat cautious as change is not often well received if this is part of the picture moving forward. However, there is a high degree of determination to succeed, and you know that it will likely take time before you reach your objectives. What was begun on the New Moon phase is now ready to move forward on some level and this will either give you the security that you are looking for and provide some gain or you will have to let things go because you did not pursue your ambitions with dedication.

TRANSITING PLUTO SEXTILE NATAL SUN

The sextile (60° between two planets or angels) is considered a harmonious, beneficial aspect in Astrology. It creates a natural flow between the planets\angles involved and is deemed to be supportive. I read once that sextiles have to do with opportunities, but they do not open up without activation from the individual who is experiencing this positioning. They say it is similar to a cross between a trine and square. The trine brings easy flow and opportunities, and the square suggests some work to move things ahead.

 

The sextile from T Pluto to the Sun brings opportunities and new ideas. This can lead to transformations with your path, goals and life objective. This can create changes that are necessary so that you are more able to connect with your path. Sometimes the sextile can be subtle and although Pluto’s influence is not a mild one, it may go unnoticed for some time before realizing where life is taking you. It is best to follow Pluto’s energies as it insists on a change of direction.

 

There can be great changes taking hold on a personal level where collaboration can be essential to growth and understanding. You may find that you are more open to new concepts and new ways of thinking that can change your attitude and build on what is in place or open new doors so that something more appropriate is allowed entry. You can make new connections with people that may be very supportive of your ideologies and help to encourage you to make changes. FOCUS BROUGHT FORWARD

Many of us believe and understand that our thought pattern, belief structure and expectations slowly create our world. We recognize that our focus amplifies and what we focus on is all that we see.

 

Whether we acknowledge this or not, we are acting as a magnifying glass on whatever is in our focus. Is it not important then to acknowledge all that we have in life?

 

What is the good of knowing something and recognizing it as truth if we do not practice recognizing our focus. Our teachings have taken us this far and through practice we can reinforce what we know.

 

What an honor to know and understand the intimate workings of the universe. We can spread this understanding to those willing to listen.

 

It is our duty to ourselves to move beyond knowing something and practice using the tools at hand.

 

It takes time to believe in our own manifesting. We can practice in our day-to-day routine. It is up to us to recognize what we focus on and how long we choose to remain focused on any one given thing. Life provides many avenues of expression and we learn from these. 2023 TRANSITS FOR SUN IN CANCER

This is a continuation of our post Sun in Cancer on June 19, 2023, Sun in Cancer Post  

 

This post will also apply to those with Cancer on their Ascendant. The Ascendant is often clearly defined as outside circumstances that others see.

 

On June 27 Mercury moves into the sign of Cancer and as it makes its way through this sign (moves into Leo July 11) it will conjunct each Sun in Cancer or Rising sign (Ascendant) in Cancer. Mercury is the planet of the mind and rules communication and the thinking process. Check where your Natal Mercury is in the birth chart and the aspects that it receives from other planets and points in the chart to determine your style of communication.

 

The home and family may become more important at this time and your mind may be influenced by what is occurring in and around the home environment and with family. Your children, parents and close friends will be of prime importance now. Your emotional response may tie in with the events surrounding these individuals.

 

Saturn and Neptune are in Pisces creating a trine for those with their Sun or Rising sign in the degrees where these two planets will be traveling through. Trines offer opportunities and often create easy flow. Trines are what we wait for and can work well for us. Neptune may indicate an easy flow with your creative endeavors or psychic inclinations. Saturn may indicate more responsibilities although this is a time when responsibility is a requirement. A further study into the placement of these transits in the natal chart and their relationship with other planets is required to get a clear picture of the energies and areas of life being affected.

 

Those with their Sun or Ascendant in the early degrees (1 to 10° roughly), will be influenced by Saturn as it moves through its retrograde cycle, turning direct on November 4, 2023. It will go back as far as 0° Pisces. Those with their Sun or Rising sign in the later degrees of Cancer (23°+) will be affected by Neptune as it moves through retrograde and into direct motion into 2025. This can be an interesting time and the energies are favourable for exploration into the psychic realms or schooling/teaching perhaps through studies or reading.

 

For a full understanding, a review of the natal chart with all the transits is a requirement. Suffice to say those with Cancer strong in their charts can be heavily influenced by the energies in place over the upcoming time.

LIBERATION ACROSS THE NATION

Those of us with freedom of speech, communicate freely about our concerns and much more. We can express ourselves although our opinions are open to criticism by others. SUMMER SOLSTICE

Today, June 21, 2023 @ 10:57 EDT, we celebrate the summer solstice in the Northern hemisphere. This powerful solar energy can recharge our spirits, minds and bodies.

 

All things are energy and this energy is interconnected. Some are quite aware of these influential external energies. With or without this awareness however all living things are affected by the position of the planets at their birth, by the continual movement of the planets through life, by the influence of the rotation of our earth including the changing seasons and any other shifts that occur in nature.

 

When guided by spirit/our higher self (call it what you will), we live our truth, during the easy flow and the life lessons.

 

Take advantage of the strong solar energies of the Summer Solstice to push forward. Use the more aggressive energies of the Sun to catapult forward and allow yourself to bloom into your own true beauty. Rise above the chatter of your thinking mind and allow life’s energies. See the world around you for what it is without judgement.

 

As with the Sun currently at its fullest potential (from our earthly position,) you too can allow all your inner power and beauty to radiate out. Express your true self as there is nothing more perfect or authentic.  By allowing your true authentic self to bloom, each and every other living thing that your energy touches will benefit.

 

What a glorious time of year.

WHO ARE YOU REALLY?

Beyond your human vehicle, how would you describe who you are?

 

Do not define yourself by your accomplishments or what you deem as failures. These are outside of you, so you are neither of these. You are not your character traits, even though this makes up you as an individual. These are learned things, so they are not you.

 

It is hard to describe who we are (inside, your true essence) isn’t it?

 

Many of us believe that we are qualities, accomplishments and/or shortcomings but deep down inside we are not these events or learned things. We are much more than these, something more profound. The answer is found within the deepest recesses of our being.

 

Furthermore, upon reflection what is it that we can call our own?

 

Many portraits of our personality are painted by each individual that we encounter. We are someone different to everyone we encounter. We are the only one that described ourselves as we do. We are the only one that knows us as we do from every perspective. But, do we see ourselves clearly?

 

“I am” describes us well although it has little substance even though it says it all!

 

We want a clear definition of our innate self, our true identity and the core of our being. Would this be spirit?

 

Does this resonate with what we perceive ourselves to be?

 

Are we part of the whole?

 

Are we a whole?

 

Are we complete?

 

I guess we will find these answers when we begin to question our identity and our journey and the why behind being here.

 

For certain, you are more than what shows on the surface and what we identity with which varies from day to day and our experience. We are ever evolving and perhaps the final stage comes on our last day or beyond. Seriously, who really knows!

 

The door is always open to self-discovery, and it can be found through honest self-reflection and a continued want to understand.

SUN IN CANCER JUNE 22, 2023

On June 22, 2023 the Sun moves from the Mutable, Air sign Gemini into the Cardinal, Water sign Cancer.

 

Those with their Sun in Cancer will be experiencing a Solar Return on the exact day that the Sun is in the position that it was in when they were born. This will apply to all people who have their Sun in Cancer, but the date will vary for everyone.

 

Those with their Moon in Cancer, their Ascendant in the sign of Cancer or those with an emphasis on the fourth house will also have some of the same character traits that will be mentioned in this post.

 

The Sun sign is who we are inside, the Ascendant is the way we present ourselves to the public, (what people see), the fourth house carries with it the general theme of Cancer although it will be influenced greatly by the energies of the planets found within its boarders.

 

Those with this positioning are emotionally inclined and have a difficult time not releasing their emotions, although they can hide them when they put up their shell of protection. Some Cancerians consider this their weakness, while others who know themselves well know that their emotional interaction is actually a strong character trait that they have in abundance.

 

These individuals are nurturing, caring, sensitive and often intuitive and interpret life through their feels rather than mentally. WINDOWS OF OPPORTUNITY IN THE MOMENT

There are times when the energies seem to enhance growth and opportunities to enter our lives. We feel blessed when these moments present themselves. It is important to utilize what is available to us. Sometimes things just fall in place but other times we must generate activity to allow these prospects to flourish.

 

These are opportunities for energies to flow and in recognizing them as such, be grateful. Being truly grateful opens the door for more of this type of energy.

 

Sometimes these opportunities seem few and far between as we get caught up in life’s lessons and not its blessings. But why do we have to label?

 

Perhaps a relationship ends, or we lose our job, or we make a commitment to something that does not seem to work out well at the moment. The relationship ending or losing our job opens the door to opportunity for something even better, something we would have not taken advantage of if the ending had not occurred.

 

Lessons are our greatest windows of opportunity to learn and in general we do not forget what took place, becoming more adept at moving through or recognizing these challenges when they confront us.

 

It is not always easy to see opportunities when we are dealing with challenges. However, in many cases, the lessons learned become valuable tools in our life’s quest.

NEPTUNE SEXTILE MERCURY

This post relates to Natal Neptune sextile to Mercury but can also be related to Transiting Neptune sextile your N Mercury. The transit is temporary. The natal positioning is part of your life’s makeup and will be activated through transits of planets.

 

Mercury is about our mental processing and how our mind works.

 

This favorable sextile speaks of opportunities to use your mental experience in a positive manner. You likely can visualize your concepts due to the influence of Neptune. The imagination would be strong, and it could be used in many ways. Written material would be an excellent outlet as would public speaking or speaking to the public about information that might be attached to the mystical side of life and spirituality.

 

Inspiration can be a strong point and we can use our intuitive perception to gain access to other regions of the mind. Mediation can hold great promise and psychic interpretation would be strong. The mind would be open to inspiration and heightened to receiving uploads from outside sources. We can be open to automatic writing, having the ability to tap into resources unavailable to most others.

 

The creative potential is strong but much depends on the houses involved with this sextile. The houses are areas of life where this intuitive insight can be utilized. GEMINI NEW MOON JUNE 18, 2023

On Sunday, June 18, 2023 we will be experiencing a New Moon @ 26° Gemini. The energy of the New Moon suggests the start of something new. The house placement of the New Moon in the natal chart will define the area of life involved. As the New Moon evolves to the Full Moon some six months from now, it will be a time to harvest the results of the efforts you are now beginning.

 

In the sign of Gemini, the learning or teaching expressions are enhanced. It is quite possible to take on more than one subject at a time and you will likely find that you are more versatile and adaptable to change during this 6-month period.

 

Perhaps you might put together a class ready for students at the end of the cycle. You may begin a course yourself or take classes or decide what you want to initial regarding your schooling. Perhaps you take on a project at work and bring in others to help orchestrate the outcome which you will present to your superiors. Perhaps you decide to entertain travel plans part of which may be wedding plans. You now begin to organize and set up interviews and put the plans together. In December or January your plans come to completion, and you should be ready to move forward.

 

Be prepared for changes. What you begin now may go through many alterations along the way. Be adaptable and move with the flow of new ideas coming to mind. This is an ongoing project, and you may not have an exact idea of where it will finish but be open to move ahead and see where it goes.

Saturn will be in retrograde during this time, which is a good as plans often work better during its retrograde period.  Move ahead if you feel comfortable, but don’t hold back because of fear of failure or fear of abandonment. MAGIC MOMENT

There are times when life events just seem to fall into place. What has not worked previously suddenly begins to take shape much to our dismay.

 

Some of these moments are worldly and others are not so worldly, in fact they are other worldly. They might be considered mystical or enlightening. Sometimes a door opens and a light shines not only on us but through us. We make connections that we never thought possible and life will never be the same again.

 

These are truly magic moments. They arrived because we were ready and able to accept them as they are. They are not common, and it may be a long time until the next magic moment comes our way. Embrace what has happened and be grateful.

 

Special gifts come to us in many different form. They can be a blessing even when they initially do not appear that way.

SATURN RETROGRADE IN PISCES

On June 17, 2023, Saturn at 7° Pisces goes into retrograde motion.

 

Saturn, known as the teacher, the disciplinarian, and the task maker works in a much more favourable manner while in its retrograde cycle. It will return to direct motion by November 4, 2023, and it will still be in Pisces.

 

While direct Saturn can create challenging conditions. It often stagnates growth, makes you work much harder for any rewards, which in many cases does not reflect the work you have put into the project and generally suggests more responsibilities.

 

Through the retrograde motion Saturn stays in Pisces going as low as 30 minutes Pisces. Pisces is often linked to spirituality and enhanced creative abilities. It also suggests that this is a time for less self-absorption and leans more towards service of some kind. Pisces has great sensitivity, and the psychic realms are often exposed. Intuition can be strong, and dreams can become very significant and easier to correlate into life’s experience.

 

Saturn works in a minor way with a connection to the energies of Jupiter. It is not as positive and optimistic about advancing with objectives, but it does promote more potential through hard work and efficient and controlled effort. Anything that you might have been trying to achieve may now have greater potential for advancement during Saturn retrograde especially things that deal with business and work or your career. Things that have been held back or put on the back burner now have a greater chance of success.

 

A clear and more concise understanding of the psychic realms may now be brought forward. There is greater potential for things being reliable and steadfast; and illusion, which is part of Pisces’ energy, may now be lifted long enough for you to get a clear grasp of this realm of existence. HOPE AND ENLIGHTENMENT

Are you hopeful?

 

Is a change in your focus required?

 

Getting caught up in life’s struggles can be a hard habit to break. As mentioned in many previous posts, control of our focus is a staple. Our focus amplifies whatever we are focused on. It can create peace if that is our focus or it can amplify chaos if that is where we focus.

 

When we reach out for help or go within for direction, we begin the process of opening the door to hope and the eventual light that follows. Hope is the first step in creating change.

 

From hope we step into “knowing”. When we foster knowing, life begins to shift. We are becoming aware of the thought process and how it dictates our life. We can now know beyond doubt that the shift we are looking for begins with us.

 

Enlightenment stems from this process. As we open the door to encourage it, we release doubt and anxiety. Enlightenment is the knowing process brought forward by eliminating any thoughts of defeat. We allow ourselves to be enlightened beings simply by following the thoughts that bring us peace.

 

This may not happen overnight. We have programmed ourselves to allow stress and anxiety for most of our lives. The truth, however, is now accessible through our attitude of change. It has always been available but we have not allowed it. You and you alone hold the key to advancing this. Believe in yourself and be open. You will achieve whatever you set out to. Will it be hope and enlightenment?

PLUTO IN AQUARIUS BUILDING ON OUR FUTURE

We are having a slight influence by Transiting Pluto moving from Capricorn into the sign of Aquarius (March to mid-June 2023). Pluto moves back into Aquarius in early 2024 only to move back into Capricorn one more final time from September to November 2024. After that Pluto will remain in the sign of Aquarius for approximately 21 years.

 

Pluto in Capricorn produced times when security and structure went through some dramatic changes. There is still some work to be done and many Astrologers believe that any planet in the final degree of a sign has urgency attached to its energies.

 

Capricorn deals with business, Government and economic development. It is strongly tied to earth and physical reality matters. Achievement and advancement are its best attributes while turmoil and economic challenges are its worst characteristics. We can expect some turmoil and disruption perhaps on a higher level before things get better and changes take hold during the Pluto in Aquarius timeframe.

 

When Pluto does finally move into Aquarius on a permanent basis humanitarian concerns may increase and hopefully the governing agencies around the world will come together collectively with solutions for the planet as a whole. It could take 10 years or more to really get things moving in the right direction, but over time it will unfold.

 

Pluto is about transformation and radical change especially when connected to the energies of Aquarius. Something must end for something new to begin. There are no half measures. Hopefully we move forward in a gentle manner but there will likely be power struggles and rebellions before we begin to see more positive results. Many believe that we are the forerunners of this revolution and evolution taking hold on our planet. We have come at a critical time in man’s evolution and we will need to do our part to move the wave in the appropriate direction. It begins with you and in many cases right at the home and family level.

 

Things can move in unexpected ways during this time frame as T Uranus will also move into the sign of Gemini permanently in the spring of 2026. Gemini should suit the energies of Uranus. Neptune will also move into Aries on a permanent basis in early 2026. Spirituality will likely be enhanced and a strong push for personal advancement in this area should be in place for many.

 

It will be exciting to see where humanity decides to take its next step but be ready for change and disruption to what no longer works. Hopefully the leaders of our world will begin to work together rather than create disruption and realize that we are all in this together.
