ENTITLEMENT

Some individuals do whatever they wish, regardless of how it may affect those around them. They feel entitled or privileged and believe they have an advantage that the rest of humanity may not have.

 

We are each entitled to walk our own road and to be ourselves. The best person we can be is who we truly are, at least in this time in space. We all change as we learn, grow and adjust to life’s experience and hopefully have self-acknowledgement.

 

We should not waste any of our precious time wishing revenge or hurt on someone regardless of what they might have done. By seeking revenge, we get caught up in their decisions and actions. We are living through their decisions and allowing them to affect our lives. The more we obsess, the more we lose of ourselves and allow them to take over our lives.

 

No action comes without consequence (our reaction is a choice), so think before you judge or act.

 

Life eventually opens doors to realization for all of us. Don’t get caught up in someone else’s karma.

 

Life does not owe us anything; our gift is the gift of living. The best life is experiences when we choose peace and to eliminate self-induced stress. Release what you cannot control and allow calm.

 

Surround yourself with those who love you and let go of their shortcomings. Live each day as though it were your last. Be grateful for all that is and be resilient in the face of life’s lessons. Open your eyes and your heart to all the love and beauty that surrounds you.

FULL MOON AUGUST 30, 2023

The Full Moon is in Pisces at 7° and is conjunct transiting Saturn at 3° 38’ (technically within influence but just).

 

Full Moon’s energy brings the harvest of an idea or in this case more intuitive insight which would incorporate mystical pursuits, psychic influences, and imaginative inspirations. Much depends on the houses involved and the natal aspects to this positioning in your chart. A full review of the natal chart potential is a must. This does imply however that on some level with a little work something inspirational is blossoming if you utilized the influence of the New Moon in Pisces some 6 months ago.

 

The type of harvest you experience will depend on the effort you put into it. Will you reap great rewards or will you have to start over and/or simply walk away? The Full Moon energies is often the wrong time to begin again but points towards what you can do when the timing is more suitable.

 

This may also have something to do with your creative abilities. Perhaps this has something to do with writing, music, or dance. REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT ALONE

When you are struggling and experiencing the overwhelming feeling of being alone, you are never alone. Someone is nearby ready and willing to listen and to listen.

 

They may be a close friend, family member, spouse, neighbor, social media acquaintance or even a stranger. It is important to recognize that there is always someone available but, in many cases, you will need to ask for their assistance. Sometimes professional help is what is required. Sometimes the answers come from within. Your connection with your higher self or an external higher energy is always available if we quieten the mind to hear or see.

 

Spiritual guidance is available and although the answers may not be what you are hoping to find, they are reliable. There should be a sense of peace in the resolution and no one, especially you, should get hurt by the outcome. We are not suggesting the others will not experience loss or pain from the process but over the long haul everyone should benefit on some level.

 

Running away from situations does not solve issues. It just delays the inevitable. This is a lesson that must be learned.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE SQUARE NATAL JUPITER

If you have your Natal Jupiter squared by T Neptune you can expect the spiritual energies, the collective imagination and the highly tuned psychic potential to be highlighted.

 

The square challenges Neptune’s inspirational, intuitive, extra-sensory perceptions to be clear and concise. Jupiter on the other hand even though challenged by the square still reflects growth and expansion although the understanding of what is taking place might be a little vague.

 

As of August 2023, those with their Jupiter in the last degrees of Gemini or early Cancer or those with their Jupiter in the last degrees of Sagittarius or in early degrees of Capricorn will be experiencing this square.

 

Jupiter expands and creates opportunities for growth and good luck. The house placement is often where this general feeling of good luck is found. Neptune in challenge can produce vagueness or uncertainty and a general feeling that things are unclear. If N Jupiter is also poorly aspected this can magnify the situation as Jupiter can make things larger than life. Seeing things as they truly are will be very important.

TRANSITS AFFECTING SUN IN VIRGO

We looked at the Sun in Virgo on August 21, 2023 and are continuing today with the transits affecting Sun in Virgo. 

 

Currently both Saturn and Neptune are in Pisces which suggests that they are in opposition to those with their Sun in Virgo or other significators in this sign. Saturn in the early stages and Neptune in the late stages, are at opposite ends of Pisces. Check the natal chart to see if any of the planets are currently at corresponding degrees.

 

Saturn in opposition to the Sun suggests that this can be a trying time when it comes to your personal life and the goals that you might be setting for yourself. Things may be delayed or not working according to plan. There may be concerns if you can make plans work at all. You may have opposition from others regarding personal pursuits and it is quite possible that your career may be involved in the equation. You may find that there are stumbling blocks and hurdles to overcome as you move forward. It may be best to wait until the energies have subsided before putting forth efforts.

 

Neptune on the other hand has to do with spirituality, creativity and seeing things clearly. When in opposition to the Sun you may find that there needs to be reality checks along the way with respect to personal insight and intuition. Sometimes you may be off a little in your estimation but others may be able to set you straight. At other times you may find that others are interfering with plans and saying that you are not doing things correctly when in fact you are.

 

In opposition, Neptune can make you feel disillusioned about goals and aspirations, and you may want to escape any hardships that seem to be blocking your creative endeavors. If you are in the arts field, such as acting or music, you may find that others seem to have better ideas about how to move forward or at least this is what they say. You will have to draw your own conclusions but do not let ego stand in the way if someone has an idea that might bring about a better outcome for you.

AWARENESS AND ITS EBBS AND FLOWS

One of the most challenging situations for those reaching for clarity and definition in their spiritual pursuit is the swaying from insight or connectedness from time to time. Some days it feels as though you are right on target getting information and contact with outside sources and other times, you experience situations where everything seems to be at a standstill with no growth and an apparent disruption to the normal flow of insight and intuitive perception.

 

Insight ebbs and flows, and, in many cases, there is not much you can do to create or stimulate an increase with the energy flow. It can be frustrating but if you look at the situation, often you will find that your commitment to your personal practices such as meditation and personal “inside” work has slowed or maybe even halted You become busy with life and forget or do not make time to focus on your practices and that door seems to close. Action and dedication is required to advance the way you wish to advance.

 

You just need to get back into your practices again even when there isn’t enough time. Life is busy but in reality, you do not need a lot of time each day to spend in such as quiet meditation. Even 10 minutes will suffice in the beginning to get things moving in the right direction. It is up to you to motivate yourself into action and to stick with your practices moving forward.

 

Is it worth the effort?

 

Time will certainly tell. Your belief system will either enhance the situation and bring you back to clearer insight or hold you back. It will be up to you to recognize your intent and then to follow through with the right frame of mind. It can be done.

SUN IN VIRGO AUGUST 23, 2023

On August 23, 2023, the Sun moves from Leo, a fixed, fire sign, to Virgo, a mutable, earth sign.

 

Virgo is known for its attention to detail and its wish to find perfection in all it does and in all that surrounds it. Those with strong Virgo tendencies such as their Sun in Virgo, Moon in Virgo or Ascendant sign in Virgo tend to be curious, conservative, and often quite critical especially of themselves. They see all the little flaws in life, and many tend to worry and be too concerned about trivial matters. This is not to say that their concern is not warranted at times, but they can make mountains out of mole hills.

 

Virgoans can tackle tedious tasks and make excellent organizers. They need things to be in their proper place and when life is not structured to their liking, they will work tirelessly to improve conditions. Virgoans are very service oriented and truly wish to help in any manner they deem appropriate. IGNORANCE RELEASED

In our somewhat fragmented life, we skirt from sleeping to awakening to adhering to acknowledging to ignoring, to growing and so forth. We experience these and more in varying degrees throughout our lives. We jump pathways from time to time and can remain ignorant of what occurs around us while we are engulfed in our personal life’s circumstances. We lose sight that we are stumbling and remain captive by what is reflected in our focal point.

 

We live our lives imprisoned by our focus. In many cases we are not even aware that our focus keeps us stagnate or pushes us deeper into the issues that hold us captive and they become all encompassing.

 

Until we recognize that we are caught up in a web spun by our long term focus we are not free to live in the moment.

 

By stopping and recognizing this very moment, we can alter the course of our daily life. We cannot escape what must be done day to day or run from our responsibilities, but we can allow ourselves to climb out of “the rut”. We do not have to be imprisoned by our negative outlook. We can shift with a mere attitude change. Refocusing sets things in motion and removes us from unwanted feelings, but this can take time and repeated reminders to refocus.

 

Take time to reevaluate life and its circumstances. Know that all things are temporary. The more we focus on negativity, the more negativity we see. We can move in different mental states and/or attitudes simply by recognizing our lessons, building on them, releasing them and refocusing. We are not our life circumstances. We cannot get caught up in events. They are simply lessons to learn from and then move on. We can rearrange our thoughts and belief systems so that expectations are not interfering with our emotional health. Believe that you can learn and move beyond or adjust to any adversity. Have faith in the process and work on making that needed change beginning from within.

 

We know the concept but without following what we know, how can we expect change?

 

Knowing and adhering are two different things. Changes come when focus changes. Don’t ignore your abilities. You are the craftsman of your world. Ensure quality workmanship with your focus. You are a masterpiece! Know and believe then focus.

NEW MOON AUGUST 16, 2023

Today, August 16, 2023, we will be experiencing a New Moon in the sign of Leo at 23°.

 

With the New Moon in Leo it is all about assertion, moving ahead with new set plans and building achievements that have the potential for growth and attainment. In Leo, a part of you knows what is best for the situation and if letting go is part of the process, do not hang on to anything that no longer serves you or that no longer stimulates growth. Building positive ego is good at this time and will bring forth more confidence.

 

This is a time for revitalization, manifestation and pushing ahead with plans that can initiate change that will build into something as time passes. Don’t get stuck on past ventures unless they are helping you achieve something viable. As one cycle begins another often ends. Pushing forward in ways that also help others get out of ruts is recommended although make sure they want your help. You may know what is best and your intentions may be good but others may not want your assistance and prefer to take on the challenge themselves.

 

This energy can have something to do with personal endeavors, the desire for more fun in your life (letting the child come out to play), beginning a new romantic relationship, and/or helping others as mentioned.

 

Check which house (area of life) is being activated in your natal chart and if you have planets in conjunction, opposition and to a lessor degree square, trine and sextile to this placement. The aspects should be within 3° of one another.

 

The Sun and Moon are in conjunction when we experience a New Moon and, in this case, we also have T Uranus square to this position. Uranus pushes us towards change (also indicated with a New Moon). However Uranus acts on impulse and is erratic. It can force change on us to wake us up and move us in the direction we need to take. This can affect us emotionally and push us into action because of the intensity or challenge being presented.

 

Often, we get little hints that something needs changing and if we do not act, this is when Uranus’ energies take hold, forcing change and opening our eyes. Even though erratic and unexpected, the energies of Uranus push us to the place where we are now meant to be. Change can be challenging but holding on to something that no longer suits us can cause disruption that is not necessary and is not productive.

A GENTLE REMINDER

Let’s just stop for a second and reflect on who we are and who we think we are.

 

Should you adjust your concept of who you think you are and why you are here?

 

Do you feel worthy of what you want in life?

 

Do you live up to your expectations?

 

Do other’s expectations influence your definition of self?

 

The minute you are dictated by other’s expectations you will lose yourself. You begin to change to satisfy others and to fit in.

 

You are not here to satisfy others or their expectations. Be happy with the original masterpiece that you are. Be comfortable within your own skin and set your own goals and dream your own dreams. Do not live to satisfy others.

 

Be happy (it’s a personal decision). Accept and feel good about yourself. Make changes where changes are due because you believe that the changes would suit YOUR evolution. If necessary, build the character that you believe suits your soul’s needs.

 

Looks are fleeting and skin deep.

 

It is important to be healthy, so we need to do what is necessary to look after our earthy vessel for health’s sake but not for look’s sake.

 

Clutter around us can make us feel stressed so for our mental health ensure that you feel good about your surroundings. Our surroundings do not have to be new and fashionable, just clean and organized to make us feel relaxed and comfortable.

 

Remind yourself that you are ok just the way you are for now, then if deemed necessary build on what you would like to do FOR YOU and your growth. This is not to say that you should be wrapped up in you and only you but you must come first. You cannot “feed” a family from an empty cupboard. Fill your cup and then share your bounty. We need to look after ourselves first and then build from there.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE SEXTILE NATAL MOON

There is a big difference between Neptune in Pisces and Neptune in Aries. This post is written during Neptune’s time transiting Pisces.

 

Neptune is at home in the sign of Pisces and works well in this position, enhancing the mystical outlets and offering spiritual enlightenment for those that are leaning in that direction.

 

Your Natal Moon would need to be in the later degrees of Capricorn or the later degrees of Taurus for your chart to be affected. Those with their Moon in early Aquarius and early Gemini will also be impacted by this placement. The sextile indicates easy flow and opportunities, but it gains momentum when you push yourself. Sometimes things fall in your lap but in most cases, you will have to work for the outcome. Harmonious outcomes are quite possible.

 

The sextile between T Neptune and your Moon will most definitely make you highly sensitive and emotionally interactive with others. You want to share the magic of the moment and are highly attuned to the sensitivities of others. NEW DIRECTIONS

Where has your life taken you?

 

Even at a young age, we are taken to many places that we never thought we would go. Life’s experience is the teacher, and we can be sure that life is not finished taking us to new places just yet.

 

Sometimes we have curve balls thrown at us when we least expect them and are given hard life lessons, and then sometimes, we are taken to wonderful places where we experience sheer joy from our attitude towards what we experienced. There can be times, we seem to stagnant and nothing of significance happens.

 

One thing is for sure, even if life has been uneventful recently, it will begin its new course as we rest. These quiet periods are the perfect time to reflect, to enjoy the quiet and solitude while available.

 

If you begin to see changes to your outside world, this is an indicator that changes are also taking hold within. Inner changes are often reflected in outer circumstances.

 

Change is inevitable. Some of us are well at adapting, while others resist. Some seek security and, although variety is refreshing, would rather stay in familiar situations then take chances to move into different circumstances.

 

Our attitudes go through major changes, and this is often reflected in our external experience as well. Sometimes nothing really changes yet our attitude towards life does, so, life seems different. New directions are always at hand and learning from life’s experiences is unavoidable.

TRANSITING PLUTO TRINE NATAL SUN

When writing this post (Aug/23) transiting Pluto is in the final stages of Capricorn. It moves into Aquarius in early 2024, but moves into retrograde and returns back into Capricorn. After this final pass into Capricorn, Pluto remains in Aquarius as of November, 2024.

 

The information in this post will affect those with their Sun in Gemini and Libra and those with their Sun in the late degrees of Taurus and Virgo. For some 20 years, Pluto will move slowly through Aquarius. Check your ephemeris to note if/when your Sun sign will be affected.

 

For those experiencing this transit, it may be letting go of the familiar and knowing that change is inevitable. These changes, often total and complete, suggest times of personal growth and expansion. Your sense of self can go through many significant changes as you move in a new direction. Pluto is about endings, completely new beginnings and moving forward through major transformation and regeneration because this new road is much more in line with where you need to be. IMPORTANT DECISIONS

Sometimes there is a fork in the road just ahead and you don’t know which way to go. The decision is not easy as what lies ahead is not clear. What should we do in this case?

 

If you truly feel that you are doing all that you can in the moment and have been working on a solution but nothing seems to shift, perhaps something else needs adjusting.

 

Our attitude is often what needs shifting. Our perspective on what is in place can be changed, and then in many cases, life also begins to change. Our expectations also certainly have an influence. How can we move forward with expectations that hold us back?

 

If a change of direction is needed it takes courage to make a move. If the current situation is tough, then change is a requirement. Many of us fear the unknown and making changes can be extremely challenging.

 

This is, undoubtedly, not the first challenge you have been faced with and likely will not be the last. Reflect on what is in place. Do not ignore your current circumstances but do not jump to decisions either. Taking the necessary time to analyze the situation and conditions is important but do not fear making a mistake. Are there really any mistakes in life?

 

All events teach us valuable lessons. Lessons therefore cannot be mistakes.

INSEPARABLE

How many times have you heard that we are all one?

TRANSITING URANUS SEXTILE NATAL MOON

As Uranus transits our natal chart, in some cases it can bring severe disruption to the normal flow of life. It brings turbulence and change, sometimes drastic in nature. Although it can be challenging it also heightens our awareness and pushes us to intuition and awareness that change is essential because what has been in place no longer suits our evolution.

 

The Moon has to do with our emotions. The Moon in its natal position speaks of our abilities for nurturing and our sensitivity to our environment. Those with a water Moon (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) tend to be more receptive to their sensitivity and are sometimes known to have intuition and psychic awareness. Our Moon defines our emotional reaction to life’s events and has been called “our reigning need” by Noel Tyle.

 

The Moon can also represent important women in our lives (mother); whereas the daughter is often represented by Venus. The Moon also represents where we need to go when our emotional nature needs regeneration.

 

Sextiles are easy flowing aspects. They often produce opportunities on some level (much will depend on the houses involved). Although opportunities are indicative, a push is needed to get things moving. We must take the initiative. This is a positive aspect which often provides increased momentum so you can tackle even the more challenging situations. Sextile’s energies are calm, and you can use them to formulate an action plan that will put you in a better place.

 

When you have T Uranus sextile your N Moon (depending on house position) there is an opportunity to resolve emotional issues that may have been lingering in the background. Perhaps your mother is reaching an age where she can no longer live on her own. Now you may decide to have her move into your home to help her. Perhaps your brother or a close friend has been causing you emotional strain because of this and now you can move ahead and make plans to alleviate the situation.

 

Change is a requirement and Uranus/Moon can assist you in making necessary decisions. Perhaps the changes will come quickly and out of your hands. Perhaps there is much disruption in the beginning but over time you realize that this change is exactly what is needed. Uranus is the awakener and will open your eyes and emotions to help you move in the right direction.

 

This can also mean a change of residence or a change within the family structure. There may be an opportunity to perhaps buy a new home or renovate/restructure the home so that it now has greater potential for the new to arrive.

CONQUERING SELF-DEFEATING TRAITS

It may not easy to correct self-defeating habits that have had full reign during our lifetime. It has taken a long time to condition yourself to believe or create these tendencies, and it will take time to retrain ourselves away from them. It will take work, but with the correct attitude and belief system in place, you can and will move away from self-defeating habits.

 

Attitude and belief structure are the ultimate conditioning factors in life and focus brings magnification. Listening to your heart rather than your brain opens doors that otherwise are closed. The heart always provides comfort and love.

 

As I am sure you have heard many times, it is all about conditioning and mental focus. You can choose between identifying with destructive traits or choose to change the direction of your focus. No one can do this for you.

 

It is up to you to remain persistent as you begin this journey. The door is open to whoever believes that it is possible for them. If you close that door, the chances for evolution are dismal to say the least.  You will fail if you maintain a “failure” attitude.

 

You are the one listening to the busy mind, the one doing the processing. You are not the busy mind! You can adjust any thought to formulate an action plan that moves you to a more gentle and caring place, where you can find comfort and support. It is in your hands, but you must decide and want to move beyond your current circumstances and attitude.
