CLOSE ACQUAINTANCES

It is always exciting when you learn that there will be an addition to your family.  It is believed that most individuals that you develop a relationship with in this lifetime have shared time with you in a previous incarnation.  Your new nephew may have been your best friend, or your new daughter may have been your spouse.  No matter what you beliefs entail, we share our life and experiences together with the as we need one another to further our spiritual evolution.

The relationships shared are not all necessarily warm and loving relationship.  Some relationships are predestined to have difficulties and all relationships, no matter how good, will share some strife along the way.  The most valuable teachings are found in times of conflict and discord.  There are valuable lessons with significant life knowledge gained when a curve ball is thrown our way.  When you strike out in anger, stop for a moment to take the time to really listen to what the other is saying.  There is often a deeper meaning but the surface meaning is also important.

Our relationships are not always measured by one on one quality but they certainly are measured by experience and lessons learned.  It is important to be open to this phenomenon and realise the significance behind all relationships.  Those around us have joined with us to share their lives and encourage our growth.  Think about how important this is and how honoured you should be.  They choose you with the loving understanding that together you experience and learn far beyond what one could do so alone.  Do not take close relationships for granted.  They hold special meaning.

Why do some new relationships seem so fated?  Why is it so immediately comfortable when you meet some people?  These relationships are meant to be.  You are supposed to share time together. Know this and accept this even when the relationship has challenges and obstacles that require hard work.  Labour through your issues and activate that ingrained love that brought you together.

Not all great relationships are from previous unions.  New unions can provide you with a fresh way to look at life and its lessons.  We each walk the road we are meant to walk, with our close acquaintances and loved ones.  Celebrate these unions and grow together with the understanding that each and every bond we share with another has true purpose.

TRANSITING URANUS SQUARE TRANSITING PLUTO

The transit between Uranus and Pluto is, to some degree or another, affecting everyone alive today some on a more subtle level than others.  Please see the NOTE at the end of this post. 

Depending on what area of your Chart is activated by these two planetary forces, (houses location), you will be aware that areas of your life have been going through changes over the past two years and they will continue to be affected for another year and one half.  Longstanding and archaic structures that have been built up over your life time are being replaced by new and revolutionary concepts.  This could be psychological issues or actual life circumstances.  Pluto’s influence is all about transformation and Uranus represents drastic change.

The current positioning of these giant forces of Astrology will clear the way for new, original ideas and life changes.  They will push you in a new direction.  If you have been making adjustments to your life over the past several years, you may already have initiated the process and the changes that will continue to take place may not be that sudden.  But if you have been feeling a subtle need to make changes in your life and this need has been heightening but you have not made any attempts to change circumstances or personal thinking in any way, the changes that are taking place may be a little more drastic and abrupt.

This transit represents a time in everyone’s life when the pressures for change are reaching a climax.  The energy that these planets yield will insist that you review these old, outdated ways and release them in one way or another.  As mentioned, what the actual changes will be is unique to each individual, but these influences will produce necessary transformations that will over time help you evolve and push you in your intended direction.  People and situations that have been standing in your way, so to speak, will now undergo changes, some drastic, but all necessary. 

These influences affect our whole generation and are mostly beyond our control.  Your reaction to these necessary changes that are affecting everyone as a whole is crucial.  There is a general subtle sway in our consciousness and those that are highly tuned into these frequencies have felt this shift for some time.  One should accept the changes that are taking place and allow the old to fade and the new to begin to settle.  It is the way of the world and when this transit has passed and in about 5 years if you reflect back on today you will see the changes that had taken place and just how necessary they were.

It could be considered a time of new birth and a new beginning for many.  As we all move together in consciousness, be of aid to those that this transit plays havoc with and offer reinforcement and your assistance.  If you understand how we all move as one and interact on an unconscious level, you can further your evolution together with the whole as one force.  Listen to the inner voice and move forward with optimism, acceptance and love.

NOTE:  If these planets set off other configurations in your Chart, especially with your Ascendant or midheaven, you will be impacted on a much more personal level.  Check your Birth Chart to see if your Ascendant or midheaven is between eight and fifteen degrees.  If these degrees correspond with these points or are accentuated in your Birth Chart’s planetary placements, they will be influencing your life on a larger scale than everyone else.  If you are an advanced Astrology student, check the midpoints in your Chart and see if these planets aspect this area.  This influence is even stronger if you have them in conjunction with these points or planets.  Check to see if you have Aries or Capricorn in these degrees for greater intensity as the aspect will be a conjunction to one of these points.

Lunar Nodes

The Lunar Nodes are considered one of the most influential forces in the horoscope.  They are considered “powers” that lie beneath the surface that link together spiritual intervention and human evolution.  Together the nodes, (north and south) signify karmic involvement.  These nodes are always opposite one another or in opposition (180 degrees apart) and never vary.

 

The north node deals with our earthly mission and represents, in part, what we have entered this incarnation to manifest.  The north node is completely new to us and we may feel somewhat uncomfortable with our mission, as we are entering into unknown territory. 

 

The south node is representative of the previous incarnation and signifies what we have brought with us into this life that can be used to assist the development of the north node’s potential.

 

These nodes are of the highest regard when it comes to spiritual and karmic implications.  They do not move at predictable speeds and move in a clockwise direction or retrograde motion.  They take approximately one and one-half years to move through a sign and assist in checking the timing of events in progression.

 

Our earthly goal is to move in the direction of our north node, as it is our life’s mission.  Identifying with the south node, or falling back into the comfort zone that the south node provides, will not motivate you in your intended direction, although some of the attributes that you have brought with you can assist you.  These attributes should be used to push you forward not lull you into stagnation.

 

Current events in your life obviously have implications today but are also connected to your past.  The two are interlinked and work together.  Many find it difficult moving towards that which their north node represents but the higher forces will provide you with opportunities that will push you in your intended direction.  Your mission is to activate this calling and move toward your north node.

 

These two nodes are located within specific houses in your Astrology chart, always opposite one another as mentioned.  They are also defined by the Astrological sign that they are located in.  The sign and house placement of each node further define your mission and your past incarnation and the why behind your existence.  The nodes are suggestive of interconnecting points where karma is connected from a past life and into the present one.  Karma is the soul’s interaction with the current incarnation and insists that one fulfills the obligations agreed upon when entering this life time.  These responsibilities when earnestly pursued will open the channels to spiritual growth, and expansive understanding.

 

Clarify your calling and understand what the influences are that push you towards you intended direction through the position of you nodes in your Natal chart.  The nodes along with your Sun sign and Ascendant are guiding factors that reveal the soul’s interaction and what we have come into this life to accomplish.  When you align these three factors, you can have a clear picture of your purpose.

Who Are You?

Tonight, when you go to bed and express your “thanks” in your own personal, special way, take a moment afterwards to reflect on your life.  View it from the earliest days that you can recall.  Reflect on the innocence and carefree attitude you had as a child, if you can find these memories.  Stop for a moment and make the connection between who you are now and the little one you were so many years ago.  Think of the time that has passed and reflect on whatever memories come back to your consciousness.  Recognize that these are all memories of your life events, events that have brought you to this present moment in time.

 

Each event is a life’s growth experience and these events remembered, along with countless others forgotten, are what have created the current you.  These events shaped and transfigured the personality you call “you”.  That little innocent child is still mirrored in your present personality and resonates in your core identity.  Do not forget where you have come from and understand how past events have molded you into who you are now.

 

Each event was meant to be and was a requirement in the developing story of you.  Nothing was by chance, regardless of how traumatic or tranquil the experience.  They had to take place.  No mistakes. Nothing was to be left unsaid and if you look deep, you will come to terms with the “why” behind these experiences.  They were all necessary to provide you with guidance and to accelerating your growth.

 

Take a moment and reflect on who you have become.  Be completely honest, as it is impossible to fool yourself.  Recognize the individual.  Accept who you have become.  What are your attributes? Be honest and totally open.  Do not let the ego colour these reflections, as it will try to influence these impressions.  Look only at the positive characteristics in your psychological makeup and again reflect.  Know that this is you.  Do not just pass this part by.  Recognize this individual.  This is who you are.  These qualities are the true essence of your personality and you deserve these virtues.  You worked hard through your life to attain them.

 

You are meant to view your character traits and your personality with this intent.  You are meant to identify with this persona and take it all in as your own.  You are your best qualities, no matter how few, no matter how many.  If you are unimpressed with what you see, you are undoubted looking at what you are not.  You should be looking at what you are.

 

By reflecting on your true essence, you open the channel for continued growth in life, and you will uncover more of who you are.  There are hidden aspects of your true essence that are waiting to be released, but you have to be willing to open that door.  By recognizing your true essence, you are allowing your core personality to expand into your consciousness.  This core is always awake and ready to reveal itself to you and to reawaken you to its full potential.  You are all these pleasing qualities and more.  Accept this.  The true you is ever-present and continuously expanding and revealing itself to you.  It awaits your acceptance so it can divulge more.

After the Holiday Season

You are a spirit of love.  When you look carefully at your intentions, especially during this wonderful time of the year, you will know that these feelings are simply a part of your whole makeup (which may, every once in a while, need to be regenerated as we get caught up in everyday events).  It sometimes takes a festive event to remind us of that “natural” feeling of giving and loving.  By sharing love and compassion with our fellow human beings, we spread these blessing and promote more of the same.  It is very difficult to move in an alternate emotional direction when someone shares their loving energy towards you.  Love is a powerful force and can change the course of life for anyone open to its influence.

Keep the feeling of this festive season alive even after the celebrations have come to a close.  Allow the love that resides within each and every one of us to flow, without exception.  We may fall off route from time to time but love when encompassed will simply guide you back on track once again.  Love is our saviour and companion.  It is always available, but you have to recognize it and be open to this.  Open your heart to love and mold your life based on this emotion.
