What is Your Perception of God

There are times when our world appears to be under siege.   There are terrorist acts carried out in various regions of our world.  Violent acts are carried out in the name of religion and God while others figth in the name of justice and equality.

My God, pure essence, highest light (call it, him, her what you will) is a loving energy.  How can anyone fight in the name of love? 

What is your perception of God?  Is this energy a violent tyrant that seeks revenge and worship at any cost?  Is this righteous and just?  Would a loving God stand behind such atrocity? 

So once again, how can one fight and murder in the name of God? 

God is the loving energy the burns inside each and every one of us.   There is not an ounce of violence in God, the Godhead, our pure essence, I am, Father, Mother, etc., etc.  God is love and compassion.

Standing up for our rights has a place in our world but violent action and acts of barbarism cannot be connected to God. 

Will you be the example of love and compassion to all that surrounds you even in the face of violence? This can certainly be a difficult task.  Let compassion and love for all mankind be your motto, be your hymn of justice.  Lead others with your pure light so that all can see your brilliance.

Our hearts go out to everyone that is and has been affected by these segregated individuals that try to tear away at our fabric of peace and freedom of choice.  We hope that you can find a place of solitude and grace; a place where you can hold on to love.  Do NOT allow these acts to rob you of your core love and compassion.  If you do allow this, the acts of violence and terror have succeeded!

Transitting Pluto Conjunct Natal Sun

This post applies to those who have their Sun in Capricorn, Libra, Aries and Cancer although we are primarily focusing on the conjunction aspect. 

There are various different aspects and each has its own abilities.  The conjunction brings an emphasis while the square often brings challenging and often chaotic conditions.  The opposition brings awareness for dynamic change to the self but often through other people’s interactions. 

If you have your Sun Sign in any of these cardinal positions listed in the opening sentence and your Sun is between 8-17 degrees in one of these signs, you will be experiencing the transit of Pluto accentuating your Sun sign. 

Pluto’s action begins in a subtle manner but gradually increases in its intensity.  Many of those who are sensitive to its influence can feel its approach often as far away as 5-6 degrees and 2-3 degree when it is separating.

Transiting Pluto has been moving back and forth between retrograde motion and direct motion for some time now and its impact is probably well known at this point.  It finally went direct on September 23, 2014 and will remain in direct motion until June 2, 2015.  After this later date, it will  return to retrograde motion.

This period has been noted as a great time of change and transformation in the lives of those that Pluto has touched.  It is a time to orchestrate your ambitions and move forward with your objectives, but often you will have to delete obstructions to your desire to move ahead in life.  This obstruction is now old and outdated and must be dealt with and seen as it truly is.  If these states of affairs are no longer viable and do not serve some real purpose, you will have to disengage from them and move in a new direction.  They no longer serve you and in order for a new birth to begin, you have to remove these obstacles that now stand in your way.  They have served their purpose and no longer have significance in your life.

You will find (particularly with the conjunction) that you now seem to have powerful energies that can keep you going and help you to eliminate these objects or habits that stand in the way of progress and achievement.  You can reach your objectives as you are more prone to decisive action and assertion in the areas of life ruled by the house transiting Pluto is in and the house your Sun Sign is in.  If your Sun is in Capricorn as this conjunction implies, you can move forward in your career objectives and personal sphere of activity with a new found enthusiasm and strong push to make things happen in your life.

If you are experiencing the square or opposition aspects, you may find that it is more difficult to achieve these objectives, but you will have the push required to make sure that these inner and outer changes take place, although not without some challenges along the way.  You can now remove old outworn and outdated parts of yourself that no longer serve you and you are the orchestrator of these actions, unless you are experiencing the opposition then someone else may be assisting you with the changes that need to happen. 

Understand that in most cases, these changes are what need to take place and you will gain momentum as this transit begins to unfold.  You will eventually reap the rewards and understand the process completely when Pluto is out of range permanently, which can take up to two years.

During this transit, you may uncover facets of your personality that might not be too pleasant to confront, but confront them you must, as you cannot eliminate or transform any part of yourself until you first acknowledge what exists.  It is best to concentrate on yourself during this time although you can also be of assistance to others.  You can challenge and transform obstructions in your life although you will have to watch for ego intervention.  All must be done with good intentions and push you in positive directions.  Facing yourself objectively and honestly may be a difficult task although a necessity in order to foster this transformation that now needs to come to life.  Stay true to yourself and be strong during this time of massive transformation and get ready for a new you to emerge.

Living in Divine Light

In prayer we reach out to our living messenger and holy minister of truth that light be spread over our consciousness and bring us in touch with our destiny.  We pray that the path of righteousness be clear in our knowing and that we administer these traits into our being.  We ask that the truth be given and that all of mankind find a place of solace and contentment and that we may dwell in comfort and safety among our fellow brothers and sisters during times of strife and anxiety.

Illusion or Reality

There will be times during our various stages of enlightenment that we will question the validity of our experiences.  Through meditation and other techniques, many individuals have discovered realms of existence that were once foreign to “normal” everyday life.  Upon reflection, there will be times when we begin to falter and question our own perception of these experiences.

This is a normal process and it is primarily due to ego interference, as connecting to spirituality and understanding of the true nature of reality, the ego has no dominance.  In fear of losing its stronghold, the ego will break into our space and challenge the mind in whatever means suits it best to push us to question the validity of what is taking place in our lives.  If we begin to question the ongoing process of our awakening to a higher state of awareness, it will usually be ego interference.

This interference can take many forms and the more threatened the ego becomes, the stronger it will push you to doubt your perceptions of reality and challenge your belief structure.  The ego is actually unaware of its positive value in our evolution and it fears that it will be lost or somehow thrown away or discarded. 

It is believed that there is also a higher scope of existence for the ego where it to will be free of limitations and open to the love and compassion as is the true course of all existence.

When you find your belief structures being challenged, have a close look at where this questioning might be coming from.  This is not to say that if something does not feel right that you should follow it blindly.  You will learn to decipher the difference between truth and illusion.  Through facilitating an outlook or belief structure that states that you will only learn the truth, there is no fear of illusion.  When the ego infiltrates your conscious state with questions or intrusions, if you take the time to review and study them, you will know instinctively whether they are real or illusion. 

Always having faith.  Your “knowing” that you are walking the correct path can and will be challenging at times especially during any transitional stage.  You are being challenged because the past ways of living no longer holds you in their grip, and you are consciously aware of the change that is taking place in your life on many levels.  Move forward with confidence and follow your heart.  You may be traversing a new trail in your life, but if you look closely the path is well trodden and many others walk beside you.

Our world is always undergoing a transformation and this evolutionary change is affecting our whole planet on one level or another.  How wonderful and privileged we are to be taking part in this awakening.  Share this life gift with those around you in whatever way suits the occasion, although some may not approve.  This is, however, their choice.  Know that you are following your vision and this vision which will impact your life and those around you.  Stay true to yourself and believe.

Sun in Scorpio in Astrology

In 2014, the Sun moves into the sign of Scorpio on Friday, October 24.  This post applies to those individuals that are born with their Sun in Scorpio and to a lesser degree those born with a Scorpio Ascendant.  There are three main types of Scorpio people and this is why it is such a misrepresented sign.  It is often referred to or designated as the Scorpion whose character traits are often the ones that are less desirable.  The sign of Scorpio also has the salamander and the eagle personalities.

The Scorpion carries with it traits such as deception and these individuals can harbour qualities that are not to be trusted.  They are known for the sexual promiscuity and their sexual trickery or cheating capabilities.  They also have a very vengeful side and once crossed, it is best to be on the lookout as they can be quite deceptive and sneaky in their plans to equal the score.  You are best not to cross them although in some cases they can be plain spiteful and often very vindictive even without provocation.  Jealousy is also a strong character trait and although they feel that it might be alright for them to have clandestine affairs, they would not take it well if their partner were to play the same game.  It is rather one sided and although they may be quite aware that it is wrong to carry on this way, they still feel entitled and have difficulties controlling their strong desires.

Alternatively, there is also the salamander and the eagle personalities of Scorpio.  Many will carry traits of both persona’s but those that have found a way to rise above the Scorpion tendencies can become very altruistic in their natures. 

Most Scorpio individuals regardless of classification have a need to go beneath the surface and dig deep for answers, and because of this, they make great psychologists, pathologists and private investigators, along with surgeons and in some cases miners. 

The eagle personalities has found their way past primal urges and because of their tendency to go deep are often found in circles involving the mystical side of life.  They are true to the cause of self-exploration and seek out qualities within themselves that can not only benefit them personally but also aid others in their time of need.  They are quite loyal to their word, their friends and their lovers.  Those that seek spiritual enlightenment are always ready to uncover their deepest and most mysterious character flaws and make dramatic changes and transformations to their character due to the planetary influence of Pluto.

Most Scorpio individuals are great at uncovering the truth and they often have a penetrating gaze as though they see past the superficial and see right to the core.  This can be a little formidable for those that are overly sensitive.  They feel that their privacy is important yet private matter can be alluring to the Scorpio individual for they want to uncover all tendencies hidden within.  Most Scorpio individuals have an air of secrecy about them and you will have a difficult time uncovering the deeper facets of their personality.  They may even hide their true selves so as to remain a secret and to capture the fascination of others.

Intrinsic Values

So what is important to you?  If you were to take three of your most valued treasures, what would they be?  Do these treasures have intrinsic value, security or monetary value? 

Security does cover a relatively wide spectrum.  Are security measures based on how you feel about yourself and your life’s current state of affairs?  What are they based on and do they define you as an individual?  What is your concept of security?  (These are concepts or belief structures that you have erected in your life—that you have built on solid foundations).  Are they sound?  Are the security feelings that you connect with based on financial access or are these security measures built on inner resources and something that you can always rely on?

It is important to realization that the measures you take in your life that provide you with a feeling of security are based on self-actualized concepts and belief structures that you have erected in your life.  True security and comfort levels will remain consistent if they come from within.  Getting in touch with yourself and finding an honest evaluation of what your objectives in life are can assist in evaluating where your priorities lie.

If you find that your definition of security is based on what you own or what you are doing for a living, take a moment to figure out why these values are significant in your life and how they affect your growth as an individual.  Do they initiate development on a deep level?  Are they part of your awakening?  Do your security measures come from spontaneous joyful feelings associated with everyday living?  Do they resonate with who you are and will they help you to achieve a clearer state of being?

In order to feel lasting fulfilment and true meaning, do you not have to uncover facets of your inner core and unlock your truest potential?  Is it not important to get in touch with your higher self and to manifest a combination of inner spiritual enlightenment and human interaction?  Getting in touch with our true identity and to facilitate communion with self are true stepping stones to security and self worth.

Meditation is one of the best vehicles to travel this path to awakening and spiritual enlightenment.  It helps to quiet the mind and accentuates a path that you can move along when your search goes beyond material contentment and financial security.  Meditation is the path of least resistance to reach our ultimate goals.

What is our single most important reason for this existence?  When awakened to our true purpose, we realize the “why” behind this existence....the purpose to this physical world.   You are already connected to this information.  It quietly waits within.  Open the channels of communication.  You are a spiritual being living in a physical body.
