Gathering Momentum

As we begrudgingly relinquish control of our destiny to our guides and our fate and we let go of the ego’s desire to maintain control, we notice new insights and an awakening taking place.  It is the ego’s hold that keeps us grounded and stops us from entering into the mystical, magical world around us.  Control can be an issue and the ego always had a dominant affect on our life’s conditions, whether it is beneficial or challenging.

It is difficult for the ego to release control and for us to accept that life will unfold in its own time and in its own fashion.  We move ahead at our own rate of progress and as the channels begin to open, we will make internal changes that will help facilitate this ongoing change that occurs within and as well as on a outer more global scale. 

We are not alone on our quest as many travel the same journey.  Everyone we meeting, in their own way, will draw our attention to new and wonderful enlightenment.  Each one of us has our own channel of perception and we can assist others in tuning into these channels.

We also receive assistance from our guides that are not of this dimension.  These enlightened beings that have left behind the physical demands and the influence of ego come into our lives when we need them most.  This too is our path and we are ever expanding our awareness and coming closer to this gateway known as enlightenment, being here in the now.

We proceed on our quest, each experiencing the obstacles we need to overcome which promotes our growth.  Our attitude and our expectations will dictate which route we take as we approach the forks on our path.

 

Letting go of our specific life’s course will allow the true guide to lead the way, lessening the unnecessary obstacle and allowing the true lessons to be learned and applied as required to reach our destiny. 

We know we are repeating ourselves but it is so important to accept that we are spiritual beings living in a physical body.  We are not our bodies, or our thoughts.  We are the light, the energy which radiates within.  This is our true selves; this is our essence.

With this in mind, are we not here to be open to all of life’s experiences and to continually learn as life unfolds? 

We are here to explore and learn from the physical world, with all its wonders.  We are not here to suffer or stagnate.  All experiences are temporary.  Allow the lesson to be learned so that you can live life to its fullest through love and compassion and allow ourselves to see these qualities within each soul that walks this path with us.

Midpoints in Astrology

Midpoints in Astrology are considered one of the more successful astrological applications available for its predictive nature.  A midpoint is the exact halfway point between two planets, or two significant points (Ascendant, Midheaven) or astrological bodies such as Chiron.  The Part Of Fortune, as well as the Vertex, or other bodies that you use to delineate an Astrology Chart can also be used with midpoints.

 

For example, if you have Uranus at 11 degrees Cancer and the Moon at 28 degrees Scorpio then the midpoint would be 19 degrees Virgo.  If by chance you have a planet or significant point in the natal chart that is within a one degree orb of 19 degrees Virgo that planet would have Uranus and Moon connotations brought into the mixture these planetary positions.  If for example, you have Mars within that one degree orb, Mars would be heavily influenced by Uranus and the Moon.

With transits and progressions, any planetary link to this position would carry these overtones as well as the conjunction to Mars.  You can also use the semi-square, the square, the Sesquiquadrate and the opposition when delineating this configuration.  These aspects are all divisions of 45 degrees and will bring action, will create events and will make these quite noticeable to the individual. 

Midpoints are very significant when trying to decipher potential events to situations that are suggested by the natal midpoint scheme in question and the houses involved in the equation.   As mentioned, use an orb of no more than one degree when deciphering what potential situations may occur.  Midpoints are significant because they will provide the astrologer with a clearer definition of what potential lies within the bounds of these transfigurations.

Midpoints can also be applied to the natal chart with any midpoint of any combination, as the midpoint becomes a focal point when transits or progression join up and make contact with these sensitive points.  In most cases when the conjunction is activated between the two planets or significant points and the aspect is direct within one minute, you can certainly expect something to happen. 

The house location of the midpoint will provide you with the area of life affected and you also have to look at the houses the two bodies are located in within the natal chart to provide a clearer picture.  Then take into consideration what the planets represent and how this area of life will be affected.  For example, the Moon and Uranus and Mars would suggest an emotional experience that would be sudden and unexpected with the potential for aggressive action or progressive movement in the areas of life indicated.

Midpoints can pinpoint events although the more angles involved the harder it is to delineate.  Using the midpoint between the two planets is often sufficed in providing additional information.  Pay particular attention to the midpoints between the Sun and the Moon, and the Ascendant and the Midheaven.

Disruptions to Life's Flow

In the course of life, we will have periods of relative calm when life seems to flow along quite effortlessly.  These periods can be soft and they provide us with time to simply enjoy and relax.  These stages can even provide total peace and tranquility.  Enjoy these moments and hold them dear to your heart.  Realize that these times should be viewed on as gifts of time to reflect and to appreciate life’s magic.

When these moments dissipate and we experience transition or turmoil, it is important to understand that through these experiences we gain inspiration and excel in evolution.  Although these periods can be experiences of extreme manifestation and can be exceedingly hard to handle and even accept, they are opportunities for great growth.  They enhance life’s meaning in ways that the gentle moments could not accomplish.

Life is an unfolding story filled with both of these types of experiences.  It is up to us to use these times (both challenging and relaxing) to learn from and to grow, through experience and contemplation.  Nothing is by chance.  We are meant to go through these times even those that seem extreme.  To find and accept balance in life is important.  We experience both sides of the coin (good and tough karma) which offers constant opportunities for growth.

Karma is often viewed as negative and few of us recognize that karma comes from both sides of the equation.  It offers learning tools that we can often bring to the surface when needed.  We are also building on our Karma in this life and our reactions to life’s events forecast future potentialities as we live our lives.  It is believed by many that we can create and experience karmic here and now from and in this life, sparing challenging karma in our next life.  Does this not promote positive karma in our lives to come as we are opening our arms now and welcoming karma for our current actions in our current life?

It is important to understand that our reaction to life events does dictate our current state of being and we can channel our life experiences in such a way that we do not have to live under constant struggle and traumatic life conditions.  Life happens and there is no avoiding these conditions.  Our reaction to these events and how long we choose to live in any mind frame, however, is always in our hands, regardless of how difficult the circumstances.  We always have freedom of choice and can channel the minds’ focus in whatever way suits the occasion.  This is not to say that we are supposed to and can pass up on reactions to sadness or turbulence.  We are certainly meant to experience these emotional reactions to their full extent, but we have to listen to the quiet voice and hear what it is attempting to convey to us.  These are our guides assisting us and our inner self prompting us in certain directions.  Always pay heed.

Always live your life to the fullest and above all else, stay in the moment.  Live for today.  Let yesterday remain in the past and be open to all that life has in store for you in the future.  Remember each and every experience is for our benefit regardless of our perceived severity of the events.  It is our path and each path leads to enlightenment and understanding.  We must leave our doors open and accept life with open arms.  Our reaction to life is always in our hands and we are the master of our emotional destiny.

Teachers Open the Doors

There are several learning tools at our disposal.  One of them is our openness to allow others to guide us to information and experiences that assist in our learning.  This is done on many different levels, including through our subconscious connection.  We meet up with many different individuals throughout our lives, and they often impart their own special knowledge in very subtle ways.  These individuals are teachers or guides.  Some are met through meditation and assist us through this connection.

Although these teachers and guides offer to open the door and share their awareness, we must make our own decision on when, how and whether to cross these threshold.  We are never forced to move in uncertain directions throughout life, although there are times in life when this seems this is the case.  Life will present us choices and events and we may feel to be at the mercy of these events.  If this is the case, we are being push in a particular direction to observe and learn the lessons we need at that time.

There are teachers among us.  Some help us simply by being and acting without even having knowledge of what they are sending our way.  Children are a perfect example of teachers providing great inspiration.  They share all that they know and their love without hesitation or compensation.  They simply provide us with nurturing and loving energy.  They do this quite naturally; never thinking of what might come their way because of these actions.  They simply act from the heart.  They are teachers in the highest degree.   Why do some of us lose this gift as we mature?  At what point do some decide to make their love conditional or use it as a bargaining tool?

Each and every one of us are teachers and guides for others along the road of life.  The best teachers are the ones that lead by example.  Ensure that these examples are good ones.

While trying to solve the puzzle of who we are, we need the assistance of those around us, whether this is spiritual in nature or on the physical plain.  Our guides come in many shapes and forms but they are always ready to assist if we are willing to ask for their assistance.

We might not always like the answers we get, as sometimes the truth can be difficult to face; but these exposures to truth can uplift us and make us aware of the tangled webs we create and to shed light on dark corners of our being that we do not like to face.  

Acceptance of assistance can help to open the doorways we need to enter and following advice we receive on many levels can help us take that first step through these doorways.

We do manifest all that we need for this moment in time.  Any information required to make decisions to move forward is revealed on many levels.  We must be open and listen to the advice being provided.  With this information in hand, we can conquer any mountain we decide to climb.

Transiting Pluto Conjunct Natal Saturn

Transiting Pluto has been in Capricorn between 11-15 degrees since January 2014 and will remain at these degrees until the fall of 2016.  Those individuals born from January-February of 1960 and again from June-November of the same year, as well as those born from February-July of 1989 and again those born from November 1989 to January 1990 will have their natal Saturn at 11-15 degrees of Capricorn.  This conjunction will apply to these individuals and you will have to check your ephemeris to see if Saturn is in Capricorn at a lessor or higher degree to find reference dates when this post will apply to you.

Saturn in Capricorn is a powerful position and usually provides its recipients with a high degree of business savvy and managerial abilities.  Saturn is truly gifted in this sign and will work well in business related objectives and also provides know-how if one is to rise in the world of business and climbing the corporate ladder.  For further information, check to see which house your natal Saturn resides in and you can determine which area of life this will unfold in.

When transiting Pluto conjuncts Saturn, it is often a time of tension or stress related to the area of life or house that Saturn is found.  Many areas of your life are subject to change and transformation often relating to the end of a current condition and then the beginning of a new one which will be built on a more solid foundation.  It should be understood that whatever needs to be transformed has outlived its purpose and these changes are required.  Any resistance to these challenging conditions is futile as Pluto has a powerful effect.  There will be far less hurdles to overcome if your simply acknowledge Pluto’s influence in your life and make the alterations.

Some will experience transformations from deep within their psyche and will have to come to terms with some challenging conditions found within that truly need transformation or major adjustments.  This can be a bit of a challenge as what you see might not be all that comfortable, but acknowledging the issue can bring about needed change and the start of something new in your life. 

Others will delve deep into psychological problems that stem from their early days that seem to come to the surface during this time, and they will have the opportunity to relive these times and come out the other side having a greater understanding of just how these events affected their lives.  This is the time to make changes and if you find the time too difficult to get through on your own, ask for assistance in confronting these challenging events or conditions.

There may be events or circumstances that are dragged out into the open.  Confronting these things will assist in recognizing your ability to let them go as they have outlived their purpose and may even stand in the way of transformation or regeneration in your life.  This may involve relationships or material concerns and will change the way you express yourself in some way.  Many of the changes that take place are subconscious and deeply imbedded in your personality.  Situations or thoughts will need some revamping and as challenging as this might be, the outcome is worth all of the struggles that might occur.

Stay open to change and transformation and do what must be done.  You will be new in many ways.  You will come out of this transit stronger and more resilient with the ability to face adversity head on with a new found vigor.  This transit is often accompanied with challenges but the benefits far outweigh any hardships that you may go through.  You will just have to hang on tight as the ride might be a little tumultuous.

Life's Flight

As we board a plane to travel to new and exciting destinations, we have full and complete faith in the flight crew.  They are experienced with the instruments of their aircraft, they have flight plans and they are aware of each and every variable possible that may lay ahead.  We sit, we relax and enjoy the flight.

Such is our life’s flight.  Our pure essence, our souls and our guides have our complete flight plans and they see the circumstances and the “whys” that we cannot.  The clouds of material life block our view and our understanding of the complete flight.  Our pilot will take us on the perfect path to our destination.  So often, we try to take over the controls of the plane from those that are experienced but our knowledge and visibility are so restricted we only set ourselves up to experience turbulences that only the experienced crew could anticipate.

Let go of control.  Let those with the experience guide you along your path.  Faith will allow you to enjoy your flight no matter where it is taking you. 

We cannot see the airport we flew out of nor can we see the airport where we will land.  This very moment—the flight--is all that there is right now.  Allow yourself to soar!
