Saturn Returns to Retrograde in Astrology

Saturn has been hovering around 28 degrees Scorpio and 5 degrees Sagittarius since the end of 2014.  It went into retrograde motion again in mid-March, 2015.  It will continue its retrograde motion until August 2 of this year.  When Saturn turns direct this summer anyone having an important angle or planetary force located in these degrees particularly in the late degrees of Scorpio and early degrees of Sag, will experience the final conjunction before Saturn moves beyond these degrees of influence.

Saturn has a tendency to make life challenging and Saturn’s influence is often referred as a time of test for us in some way.  People often get caught up in Saturn’s challenging energy.  Although Saturn does make life a bit of a struggle, its real intent is to make us stop for a while and review with clarity our life’s objectives and how we will continue moving forward with our lives.

Saturn actually builds structure in our lives and although its influence is rater tumultuous and labourious, we are pushed to take the necessary time to view our life’s choices and steady our approach.  Saturn is the task maker but rewards us for hard work and diligent efforts.  If we lay the proper foundation in our lives we will find that the stressful time we spent preparing and structuring our lives was well worth the effort.

Saturn makes you stop to take a close look at things.  It tells you to be honest in how your review the circumstances at hand.  It then provides you with alternatives and sets in motion plans that can foster achievement on a higher level, but there can be no missed steps in the process.  You will find that you have to take the long road and often the hard road rather than jumping in and making immediate decisions.  If you take the necessary time the potential for a positive outcome is greatly enhanced.

Every action in life has an automatic response and therefore when Saturn is part of the equation, ensure that the action taken is well prepared and nothing is missing.  Saturn’s response may not be quick but it will be decisive.  Saturn represents the structure of our lives.  It is the very foundation upon which we build upon whether that be in the material sense (which if often the case) or whether it deals with higher learning.  Saturn is our teacher, and you had better listen to its advice.

If Saturn is making an aspect to a significant part of your chart there is usually a great deal of time spent reviewing potential steps you can take; however, its action is often delayed.  Most planets when making aspects have their most powerful influence when they are directly in contact (Mars at 15 degrees Capricorn and Pluto being at the same exact degree).  Saturn, as mentioned, is usually delayed in its action and will make its most powerful impact 2 degrees past exact.

Live openly with your Saturn transiting aspects, as they will be the building blocks to set the foundation of your life’s structure.  Take hold of the opportunities linked to Saturn and do not fear its judgement.  Understand that if you take the necessary time before making any decisions and put everything in its proper place you will discover that the preparatory pain was well worth the gain that Saturn promised.

Baffled by Life - Offer Love

We often cannot help but wonder why our world is under such duress, and why a heavenly God would allow these events to unfold.  At times these matters seem relentless and so many are filled with sadness, hatred and confusion.  It seems that there is never a day that passes without some momentous event taking place somewhere in our world. 

Many of the tragedies that occur involve individuals that seem to have no connection with the cause of the events taking place. 

Violence evokes more violence and so the circle of vicious activities continue without resolution, without find peace.

Why does ruthlessness come so easily to some with total disregard to our fellow brothers and sisters and these actions are called justice?  If we humans can behave in such ruthless fashions, then why is it so difficult for we humans to behave in more peaceful fashions?  Why can we not live side by side in peace and align with our true purpose of love and compassion?  If it is so easy to create havoc, surely it is just as easy to create harmony and balance, for God has allowed us free will.

Is it not possible to live in peace and offer one another the support, compassion and respect that is so desperately needed?  Can we not find peaceful resolutions and common ground for all to share?  Why does there have to be violence and vindictive behaviours?  Why is it so difficult to create a peaceful resolution and to help one another?  Do we not believe that this is our purpose, or are we here to hurt others and create greed and hatred?

It all begins with each one of us individually.  We are the starting point.  We can start within our own little circle of acquaintances.  Family and friends are often where the battle grounds are initiated.  If we cannot be tolerant with our biological brothers and sisters, how will we ever learn to be loving and compassionate with strangers?  Have we not evolved as a peaceful race?

Love is our core.  It holds no grudges and causes no intentional pain.  It comforts the suffering and satisfies the hungry.  It is boundless and ever present.  It shows no prejudice, eliminates no one and is committed to peace. 

Love is not something that has to be worked on.  It naturally is.  Love resides within each of us and is available always.  Ignite the spark of love and be open to its flame.

Be one with the truth. Spread love through forgiveness, peace, tranquility, sensitivity and compassion.  It begins with you and you alone can bring it to the surface in your life, simply by being love.  It is yours to share.  Be the example of the change that is needed in our world today.

Blood Moon

The Blood Moon is similar in effect to a Full Moon, in that it entails a demand for action on the part of the individual who is being affected by it.  Those born on April, July, October, and January on the fourth give or take five days on either end will be affected by this Blood Moon on April 4 2015.

As mentioned the activated individuals will be required to take some action on something in their life that is coming to an end, or culminating.  It should however be understood that this ending of sorts is something that is required and there is a needed change that unfolds.  In most cases the initial stage of the onset of the action may be somewhat challenging, some even experience a shock factor.  However after the initial action it is understood that this event was inevitable and the change was a requirement.

Most change is challenging as we are creatures of habit and we prefer things to run smoothly, but in this case things may not have been running that smoothly and therefore action had to be taken.  If the individual fails to address the issue, there may be times when life will open a doorway that fosters some alternative and asks gently for action.  If these initial actions are not acted upon and the individual fails to respond accordingly then often something more drastic takes place.

These actions are however not to be feared as once the initial process is underway you will realize that the action was very necessary, actually a requirement.  It will also bring on something else that is far more significant to the growth of the individual than things were before the event takes hold.  It could be called a blessing kept under wraps and it actually offers something clearer or better than what was present before.  You may just have to wait for the final outcome.

Although things may look rather lost in the moment, you will come to realize that if something is not working then it needs fixing.  Necessary treatment is often what takes place.  If you had a cut you would clean it and dress it accordingly to stop further infection from setting in and this is what we must do in this case.

This is not to say that this is a big event in your life and one should not be overly concerned with what might take place, as some will not experience anything noticeable.  Change is only a requirement if there is something that stands in the way of your spiritual enlightenment and often the more challenging the situation, the greater the results are when things settle back into place.

Truth

We create our own truths based on our opinions and belief structures but our truths are relevant to us personally.  We filter through our thoughts and reflect on our beliefs.  It is this that eventually formulates our personal conclusion.  This conclusion is based on belief structure and what we hold true for ourselves at that moment in time.

As we mature into ourselves, our belief structures are challenged and we begin to get glimpses of other potentials rather than just what we think we need for that moment.  If we stop long enough and try to decipher the meaning of these, we can attain insight and understanding into our current reality.  It is important not to filter out information as everything has its rightful place.

The mind tends to interfere and wants to rationalize these concepts.  With integration in mind, we begin to capture what it is we are trying to relay to ourselves.  The truth slowly unravels as life moves forward.  This ongoing process brings us ever closer to our eventual awakening to our own personal truth.

We shape our truth with others hoping to find some equilibrium and balance, but we have to realize that truth is only found within concepts or structures we build for ourselves, so our truth is different from that of other’s.  To understand this is to accept our truth without obstruction from others.

The search for truth can take us down many paths.  These paths vary as we gain insight into our world and what we have created for ourselves.  Understanding the truth as we perceive it is relevant to us and it is hard sometimes to accept that other people’s ideas of truth will vary from ours.  The truth that we take on as our own is our perception of truth and we cannot make others see what it is that we are seeing.  It is actually not important for others to understand or even to try to comprehend what it is we know as truth for it is in place only for us.

To push our truth on others is ego driven, as in forcing our truth we want dominance in some way or for our personal ideas to hold importance for others.  If we understand our personal truth that is all that matters.  There will be those that will resonate with our truth in some degree or another, as many of us are on similar paths but no one is on our personal path, so no one shares our truth completely. 

It is important to listen to what is being said to self from our deepest inner confines as this is our connection to our truth.  We will grow into what this inner self is trying to express to us.  It takes some time to unravel what is being presented as life is an ongoing process, but everything is continuously manufacturing for what is required in this moment.  Stay open to what our truth and be aware that it will change as we become ready for the next steps in true understanding.

An Eclipse in Astrology

Eclipses are said to play an important role in Astrology.  In varying degrees, they do in that if they fall on a planet or angle in your birth chart.  The eclipse will activate the energies of the planet or point in your natal chart that they touch.  Eclipses occur quite regularly.  There are four eclipses in 2015.  The first one occurred on March 20 which was a total eclipse and it was in the sign of Pisces at 29 degrees.  We also have a lunar eclipse on April 4, which will be 14 degree of Libra.  We have a partial solar eclipse on September 13 which falls in Virgo at 20 degrees and we will also have a total Lunar eclipse which occurs on September 27 at 4 degrees Aries.

It is said that if an eclipse occurs within a few degrees near a planet in your chart that it is often best not to start anything new.  Quite often things go astray or life is misleading and not trustworthy.  Plans go astray and often things do not turn out as they would at other points in time.  Starting a business or making plans to take out a mortgage or deciding to make alterations to your life may not work out in your best interests.  It is said that if you are planning to end a rough marriage or quit something that interferes with your life, these endings may work out well although you should look at the whole astrology chart to see what other mitigating factors might apply.

The planet’s energies that the eclipse falls on or is conjunct with will be imparted in the area of life dictated by its house position.  It will impact your life in ways indicated by the meanings attached to that house.  For example if you have an eclipse in the first house and Mars is at 5 degrees Aries in that house, when the lunar eclipse falls at 4 degrees in Aries on the 27 of September, it might not be a good idea to start some self-work project, like an exercise program, or vigorously pursuing an new avenue of expression such as a new job.  It might, however, be a good idea to finish up a project which was set in motion in the past, or stepping away from a vigorous training program that is too difficult for you to complete.

In the above scenario, it would also be important to look at the axis point to that the first house activation which would also apply to matters related to the seventh house.  There might be issues related to self needs verses your partner’s needs.  It is believed by some astrologers that eclipses are linked to negative actions and many individuals will actually fear them because of this traditional belief.  In many cases something challenging does occur but if you were to review the situation, it often suggests that change is required.  The challenging circumstance is actually what assists the needed change to happen.  In many cases it is often a by-produce of something good coming out of something difficult and the end result is just what was needed.

It is important to view your life in this fashion regardless of what takes place, at any given time.  The lessons learned through challenging life conditions are often the perfect tool for evolutionary advancement on some level. 

Have a look at your natal chart to see if any planetary links are found in your chart that will be activated by the upcoming eclipses occurring this year. 

One more important factor to consider is that the development resulting from the Eclipse often takes time to unfold.  Some say that the total unfolding process can take as long as six months.  Do not expect things to happen on the day of the eclipse and at the same time do not live your life in anticipation of what might happen.  Never waste time on possibilities in life.  Live in the moment and enjoy your life to the fullest; always!

Infinite Wisdom

It seems as though growth or change only occurs after challenging life conditions.  These challenges allow for an opening to channels simple due to the turmoil of life events (or the change in attitude after the challenging experience).  We seldom evolve through life conditions that are calm and collective.  This appears to be the nature of our reality at least until the door of awareness opens.

Challenges come into play to assist us rather than stagnates our growth.  It may appear quite the contrary when experiencing these conditions; however, once the situation has resolved we can clearly see how we prospered because of these events.  It is difficult to understand while experiencing the process and we often feel as though we are at wits end, until finally a little glimmer of light shines over the horizon.

Remaining persistent and strong during these times can be arduous.  Understand that when life seems challenging, it is then that we have reached a place that can foster growth on whatever level is required.  These conditions continue until we have unlocked the door to the transition that eventually takes hold.  We have to overcome these life conditions to evolve to that next stage.

This seems to be the learning curve that best suits us in this earthly form; although once the door to true spiritual learning has been opened, it no longer becomes a requirement.  We need stiff jolts to push us in the intended direction and then once we reach this culmination point, a shift takes place.  It may take years to reach this as a multiple of layers needs to be shed until we reach the finer level of enlightenment.  These early stages are the challenging ones.  It gradually becomes easier to move forward as we progress with our growth, and we become open to the dialogue offered by higher sources.

Our guides and spiritual comrades are with us always and have always been there assisting us through the dark stages of our lives, yet we may not have recognized their influence as we were so wrapped up in the situation at hand and the emotional impact of that time.  Our negative focus overshadowed our progress and the assistance we were receiving.

We continue to evolve if we remain open to this for it is our life’s purpose.  It is our birth right to open ourselves up to the beauty found within.  It is this path and the eventual outpouring of love that slowly shrouds our being.  We are spirits in human form.  We can never forget this.  Our earthly life journey is to eventually co-exist on some level consciously with each and every energy body. 

There is a vessel buried within which holds all of the information required to take that next step.  The gateway will present itself to us when we are ready, regardless of the eagerness we feel.  We cannot force the spiritual unfoldment to happen.  This is not in our hands.  The sooner we realize this, the more readily the transition can occur.  Release your “wanting” and watch your world unfold.
