We are fortunate to experience the continual expansion of our insight and of the understanding of our own true nature.  We are uncovering the secrets behind everyday living and adhering to these new found ideologies.  Some of us enhanced through the recognition and utilization of the potential within.  Some are clearly on this path and inspire others along their way.

It IS a beautiful life even though we experience strife from time to time.  As we develop our understanding, we recognize that there is important meaning behind these times of strife and many have learned to welcome adversity in their life.  We understand that in challenging ourselves and opening up to awareness, we are uncovering dimensions of ourselves that we did not know existed.  How fortunate to comprehend this.

Experience met with resistance leaves us with an unpleasant aftertaste.  What a wonderful experience to be free to accept life’s events with open arms.  With this mental adjustment, we are coming to understand the ego and its plight.  We can acknowledge that we are not part of ego nor is it a part us.  We have the potential of finding a life free of its influence.  Only through awareness can this happen.

We look around only to see some people caught up in life’s events.  Why?  They are simply not ready and their evolutionary state knows when the time is right.  When we are faced with someone that does not comprehend this even after you have offered assistance, remember that they are walking their own path; they have chosen their journey and will experience what they need to experience for their own personal growth. We must accept this even when it hurts to stand back and watch.

We are always to do our best, to help others, but we must first heal our own wounds before we can help others.  We cannot hurry our own personal evolution nor can we hurry the personal evolution of someone else as we moves at our own pace.  Patience they say is a virtue and we will certainly learn this.  Be patient with yourself and appreciate the distance already travelled.

Find peace even in the face of adversity.  Be strong in these conditions. Offer assistance to those that are ready to hear your message.  Know that you are moving in your intended direction.

MIDPOINTS IN ASTROLOGY

Midpoints are considered one of the most successful astrological applications available for predictive abilities.  A midpoint is the exact halfway point between two planets or two significant points (Ascendant, Midheaven) or astrological bodies such as Chiron.  The Part of Fortune, as well as the Vertex, or other bodies that you use to delineate an Astrology Chart can also be used when calculating midpoints. 

If, for example, you have Uranus at 11 degrees Cancer and the Moon at 28 degrees Scorpio, the midpoint would be 19 degrees Virgo.  If you were to have a planet or significant point in the natal chart that is within a one degree orb of 19 degrees Virgo, that planet /point would be influenced by the energies of  Uranus and the Moon and would provide an influence from this planetary position.  If let’s say you have Mars at 19 degrees, Mars would be heavily influenced by Uranus and the Moon.

With this example, when delineating transits and progressions, any planetary link to this position would also carry these overtones as well as the conjunction to Mars.  You can also use the semi-square, the square, the Sesquiquadrate and the opposition when delineating this configuration.  These aspects are all divisions of 45 degrees and will bring action, create events and make these events noticeable to the individual and also at times to others that are involved in the equations.

Transit Midpoints are very significant when deciphering potential events especially events tied to situations that are suggested by the natal midpoints and the houses involved in the equation.   As mentioned, use an orb of no more than one degree when deciphering what potential situations may occur.  Midpoints are significant because they will provide the Astrologer with a clearer indication of what potential lies within the bounds of these transfigurations.

This can also be applied to any midpoint of any combination found in the natal chart, as the midpoint becomes a focal point when transits or progression join up and make contact with these sensitive points.  In most cases when the conjunction is activated between the two planets or significant points and the aspect is direct within one minute, you can expect something to happen. 

The house location of the midpoint will provide you with the area of life affected.  Also, look at the houses the two bodies are located in the natal chart to provide an even clearer picture.  Also take into consideration what the planets represent and how this area of life will be affected. 

For example, the Moon and Uranus and Mars would suggest an emotional experience that would be sudden and unexpected with the potential for aggressive action or progressive movement in the areas of life indicated.

Midpoints can pinpoint events although the more angles involved, the harder it is to delineate.  Using the midpoint between the two planets is often sufficed in providing additional information.  When dealing with midpoints, pay particular attention to the midpoints between the Sun and the Moon, and the Ascendant and the Midheaven.

HIGHER VIBRATION

It is important to remain rational and clear-headed when experiencing some of life’s trying conditions, but also, we should not lose sight of the mystical experiences and developments that are taking place at the same time.  We remain in touch with our daily routine, family, and friends as well as our growth beyond this earthly plain.  There is a mystical/spiritual plan for this earthly plain that has been set into motion at birth.   

Our spiritual connection cannot be forgotten.  Always remember our connection with source.  This is a magical energy flow that affects each and every one of us whether we recognize it, nurture it or try to stifle it.  Place your focus there even if just for a moment.  Pay heed to the wisdom coming at us from many different angles.  Our spiritual quest is upon us.  We are in the midst of a transformation that may feel uncomfortable at times but at the same time it feels inspiring.

Our world and our lives are not meant to be focused complete on material living.  Our soul purposes is not to just gain in riches and move towards social consciousness.  We are part of the whole but understand that there is more to life than meets the eye.  We are cosmic beings linked together now and always.  Whatever we do to any living thing on this earth affects each and every other living thing sharing this experience with us. 

Humanity appears to be preparing for its next wave of evolution, whatever that may be.  Have you ever wondered why you were born into this life, at this precise time and under these precise conditions?  Have you ever asked yourself what your purpose is?  Do you know beyond a doubt that life has greater meaning and that we all have a part to play in the process? 

The answers prior to and the answers after we have allowed the channels to open up to the dialogue that is ever present within us will vary immensely.  We are so accustomed to the inner dialogue that many of us have become oblivious to the information and to the higher level of understanding.

As we know, we are mystical beings brought to earth to live a life’s experience in this physical form, yet we are not bound by the physical body as it appears.  We have techniques available to us that foster an awareness of other dimensions of reality that are attainable different practices.  Being/living in the moment is one of the most positive ways of recognition.  Living in the moment allows us the realization that these are more than just ideas; they are reality. 

There are other techniques that we can use to enhance our earthly experience including meditation and mindfulness to name just a couple.

Living at varying energy vibrational levels is not as difficult as it sounds for we have been living this way all our lives.  It is so commonplace that most of us fail to recognize it.  We are not awakening to something new.  It is an old forgotten friend. 

Beware of the ego however for as we open to review the energy relationship, ego will relentlessly persist on maintain its control as it is completely fear based.  Do not identify with anything that does not feel right energetically or that cannot aid us in our growth and progression.  Do not listen to the constant chatter of the ego and understand that it is not a part of us.

We have what it takes to renew our relationship with the higher energy vibrations by maintaining a higher vibration.  We have always had what it takes.  We are all capable.

ONE STEP AT A TIME

It can be quite a challenge meeting and overcoming hurdles in life and although we would like to rush beyond these hurdles, it is important to take small certain steps…..one at a time.  Rushing will only create new obstacles that are avoidable.

What lies ahead is sometimes so muddied if we rush ahead we become even more lost.  Our logical minds or egos will persistently make ant hills into Mount Everest.  The mind mulls through potential outcomes and often the ego gets in the way.  As a result, we suffer.  If we learn to let go, the journey is far less of a challenging.

Take one step at a time and allow life to flow as it should.  The experience may move slowly but the experience is far more comfortable.  Allowing the process to unfold is equivalent to having faith in the process.  This is not to say that we are at the mercy of life and have no say in what happens, but there are times when it is best just to wait patiently for answers and guidance to show the way.

Guidance can come from outside forces and other times, it swells up from within.  It is important to have goals in mind or an objective to reach as we do continually move forward but we have to be flexible with these.  Rigidity causes frustration.  Finding solutions along the way usually comes naturally when the time is right and when we are ready and able to receive the proper information.  Patience truly is a virtue and this is often part of the lesson behind many of life’s experiences.

Have faith in the knowledge that life is taking us down the road we are meant to travel.  We will move through all circumstance eventually.  No obstacle is insurmountable.  All things in life can either be conquered or altered.  It is our expectation of how life is to play out that requires changing.   We must believe in ourselves.  Believe in the process and have faith that we are on the right path.  We are never off course, even when it feels as though we are.

 

Take small steps.....one step at a time.  Let’s see where these steps take us.  It IS an exciting journey!

THE MOON'S NODES AND ASPECTS (using transiting Uranus as an example)

There are two nodes in Astrology - the north and south nodes.  The north node is tied to your life’s direction and the purpose behind this life, while the south node defines a past life and what you need to stay away from during this life.  This does not suggest that you should steer clear of the South Node’s impact in your life only that you have come into this life to work towards manifesting the North Node energies defined by its sign position and house placement along with aspects from other planets or angles to the North Node.

The south node supplies you with valuable information that you have brought with you from a previous incarnation which you can utilize in this life.  These are the things or information in life that just seems to come very natural to us.  Falling back into the South Node’s energies indicated by its sign and house position may feel comfortable, but you have come to fulfill the purpose of the North Node position.  Throughout your life you will find that events push you in the direction of your North Node energies.

The planetary links to the North Node along with any angles that might be tied to the North Node are something that you need to bring forward in this life and learn to use them to your advantage.  The North Node is said to have similarities to the Sun and Jupiter while the South Node has connections to Saturn.

The planets and the aspects that link up to these two nodes should be treated in the same manner as any other planets’ energies in the Astrology chart.  The aspects are also treated as any other aspects in the chart.  The planetary energies tie in with the Nodes and emphasize what these energies imply.  For example, Mars tied to the South Node may indicate that in a previous life you were a fighter or someone with a vile temper or a leader who lead others through force.  The North Node tied to Mars may suggest that in this life you are to pursue your objectives with vigor and use your inherent strength to accomplish what you set out to do.  Mars would give you the impulse to address what the sign and house position of the North Node suggests.

When a transiting planet conjuncts the North Node and if  for example it were Uranus, this may be a time when you should follow the desire to break free from any type of restriction that has held you back and has stopped you from achieving what the North Node is suggesting.  This may happen on the spur of the moment and without warning.  It may push you in a direction that requires immediate decision making and the desire for something new and enterprising especially if the North Node is in the sign of Aries for example.

If Uranus were transiting your South Node, this would suggest that it is not the time to do these things and that you should weigh things out before making any commitment to change and follow a new life direction.  It warns of sudden decision that might hamper you later in life. Rash decision making would not be recommended.  You should take time to ponder your actions before making any moves regardless of the desire to move ahead in a new direction.   You could check out the house that your North Node or South Node are in to give you further information about what area of life is involved.  You could also check out which house your natal Uranus is in to add to the underlying information being provided to you through your chart.

In most cases, if you take the time suggested with the South Node (and remember the South Node has similarities to Saturn’s actions) you can make informed decisions rather than jumping, which is what Uranus would want from you. 

The North Node and Uranus however, would suggest that you take that giant step and move in that intended direction in your life, as the North Node is similar in its action to Jupiter and usually provides good fortune and positive outcomes.  You always need to look at the overall picture of what is happening in your chart before making any life changing decisions.

MOVING FORWARD INTO UNCHARTED TERRITORY

Life can run relatively smoothly and then seemingly out of nowhere, we are suddenly propelled into unknown territory.  Sometimes we are forced to leave a long term relationship and are removed from a comfortable situation.  Sometimes the breakup is unbearable and we feel as though moving into these uncharted waters is frightening and oh so foreign. 

It is important to allow the necessary time to become comfortable with these new experiences and to allow ourselves time to heal.  Even when we have decided to end the relationship, it can still be a challenging situation and the necessary decision puts us in a place that we would rather not be.  It is, however, very important to understand and accept that these changes are necessary on some level and even if it feels totally foreign, we will and do get used to our new situation as life begins to settle.

In some cases, we are forced into breaking away from more than just one relationship.  The break, many times also includes friends and family that we have made around the relationship.  We may try to maintain the friendships, some will be successful, others will not. 

Sometimes people come into our lives for only short periods and then are removed without warning or time for proper preparation.   These times can be troubling and the road ahead appears unclear.  It is common to fear the unknown but the road ahead can offer happiness like we have never known before.  Remember that before we can move forward into the promise of our future, we have to release ourselves from the past.  Letting go is essential to a new door opening and being able to venture forward.

Very few of us truly know what tomorrow will bring.  We control, however, how we move forward.  If we move forward anticipating disruptions, we will find disorder.  If we move forward anticipating a positive new adventure, we will find a constructive future.  What will you manufacture?  Pay close attention to your attitude moving forward and where your focus is found.

The road ahead can be a little intimidating but it is a path laid down for each individual specifically.  Stay open to your destiny.  Life has its challenging conditions but this is how we grow and expand as a person.   Allow life to unfold.  Remain open and maintain a positive attitude.  Trust in the process.  Bend when you need too, but be steadfast when it is necessary.
