HARD LESSONS

Even with our positive thinking, channeling the mind, positively dealing with stressful circumstances that crop up in our lives, it still, at times, can be difficult to accept that good people have to go through so many difficult experiences. 

The road of life certainly has a tendency to push and pull us in different directions.  All of us have been involved in some difficult situations and I do not know of anyone who has not had challenging routes to walk.  When we think of karma, it is easy to associated karma or pay back to those that we label as corrupt.  Karma is appropriate when we think of what is owed to such self-centred individuals.  It feels just and fair, and in most cases, we feel the payback is of their own making. 

So why do good people also have such difficulties?

If there is reincarnation, karma might make more sense as the karmic ties may be from events that occurs prior to this life.  Why then do we, in our new chosen life, have to pay for actions that we cannot recall? 

Whether these difficult events in life are ties to past lives or not, we cannot eliminate the fact that the lessons must certainly be necessary for the soul’s growth.  Maybe these events are not karmic at all.  As human, living this earthly existence with our limited understanding, it is difficult to comprehend the “whys” behind events.  We do understand, however, that nothing in life is co-incidental and all events benefit the growth and expansion of our higher self.

Our reaction to life’s events is our choice.  We can get caught up in the events and bask in self pity and the “whys” or we can accept, acknowledge and move forward with a better understanding.  The amount of time that an event affects our lives simply through our focus is in our hands.  There are times that we will face life events that we will never understand the purpose behind but it is inevitable that we accept in order to move beyond the lesson. 

Perhaps someday, we will understand, but until that then, we can choose to continue our journey with our minds open to all possibilities.  The truth shall be revealed to us someday, but until then swim with the current of life.  It is the route of least resistance.

If we welcome good karma with open arms, all things do balance and we should be open to accepting our difficult karma when it is due whether we understand it or not.  We can continually build good karma in this life which will not only positively add to our future karma, but will also help to balance some of the more challenging conditions that we experience in this life.  We can do this for ourselves, not just to build on our good karma, but because it is appropriate and it is how we wish to live out our lives.

There are hard lessons to learn.  There are times when life does not seem fair, but we are always at the helm of our response and our focus.   We can make attitude changes that will not only affect our lives today but will build a future for us that will carry us forward beyond death.

TRANSITING PLUTO IN OPPOSITION TO THE NATAL SUN

Transiting Pluto moves very slowly through the zodiac, moving a little over one degree on average per year.  This means that if you allow a 4-5 degree orb of influence when applying and a 2 degree orb separating, you could have Pluto in opposition to your Sun for as much as 3-4 years.  The time when Pluto is direct and perhaps receiving other aspects from other planets at the same time will be when its influence will be at its peak.

Pluto has been in the sign of Capricorn for several years and will remain there for a while yet.  Capricorn has to do with a slow climb up the ladder of success.  It also speaks of a steady approach to life, never missing any rungs that are relevant to this climb.  Slow and steady wins the race and whether this race is of the energies of the seventh house of relationships, in the twelfth house of spirituality or in the second house of finances for example, Pluto will have you dig up any unresolved issues that might be hindering your climb up the ladder of success within these life areas.

Capricorn is not a risk taker.  It is predictable in its nature, although subtle in its actions.  It prefers to remain in the background and will apply itself at the most opportune moments when its impact will be felt the most.  It can be low key although when it speaks, people generally listen.  It is not very flexible although persistent when in pursuit of a cause.  It is comfortable in taking the long route and adheres to lessons learned along the way.  It is ambitious and will pursue a course of action with great determination stopping at nothing until it reaches its goal.

The Sun is our energy drive, our need to prove ourselves in ambitious terms.  It acts as a catalyst for success and pushes us forward.  Much depends on its natal placement and sign, and using these energies, it will push in the intended direction.  The sun is the ego drive and the will to achieve.  It is also our inner most self.  The Sun is quite different from our ascendant sign which is the face we reveal to the world.  The Sun’s energies is who we are at our core and the driving force behind this persona.  Our goal is to unite the Moon, the Sun and the Ascendant in order to be whole and also to connect with our Moon’s nodes, when deciphering our objectives in life.

When transiting Pluto is in opposition to our Sun, we have to watch for becoming involved in power struggles with others—do not forget the Sun is our will.  Sometimes we may be so caught up in finding our course that we may push others in a direction that only suits us.  We will need to pay particular attention during this transit to make sure we take into consideration other peoples’ needs.  Oppositions usually involve other people.  Watch for a desire to dominate others or watch for others attempting to dominate us.  There is often a great need to prove ourselves correct and win the argument or our position on the matter.  Being open and discussing things appropriately is the best way to move through these challenging conditions.  This is particularly true in close personal relationships, both romantic as well as business.

On the positive end of this opposition, if we pursue our goals in a forthright manner and are open to assistance and to listen to advice, this opposition can bring great rewards for hard work and persistent efforts.  Our ambitious self is amplified during this period and we will want to prove something to people in authority or even people who are our subordinates.  Watch for power struggles with people in authority as they will have the upper hand and can shut us down when they feel the opposition is too aggressive.

 

We must take care of ourselves physically during this time as the amount of energies applied can be overwhelming.  Sometimes people get run down during these times or have personal issues because of the need to win at almost any cost.  Practice patience and keep the temper under control.  Using the appropriate action will win us favours and also show our positive characteristics.  Take it slow and watch for adversity.  This is the best advice that can give.

THE PATH OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE - PART II

As mentioned on Friday, our path leads us to enlightenment and our eventual oneness with source.  We are reminded to never worry about losing our way or wandering off course for we are always on course.  It is our path, our journey.

We seek tranquility and peace and our path offers this for our taking.  Our journey is on the road to unconditional love if we care to open our hearts.  These have always been there for the taking.  The time is now to take that step, that leap of faith to venture forward into what we term the unknown, even though this journey is so very familiar to us on a subconscious level.

Take your time as you journey to absorb all that is available.  Allow true dialogue with yourself and of course with those that journey this path with us.  We have so very much to learn.  Feel free to question along the way, but be prepared for truthful answers.  The truth is not always pleasant for the ego to hear.  The beauty we see around us is reflections of our inner selves and that beauty is constantly changing.   The path we follow is a mirror.  If we do not like what we see, what can we do within to create changes without?  Others will live their lives as they do.  They do not create our viewpoints or reactions.  These are generated solely by us.

There will be monuments along the road for our review.  There will be symbolic benches and individual seats where we can chose to sit to take in the scenery.  These are important resting points so that we can stop to smell the roses.  There will be times of solitude to reflect.

Move forward with confidence knowing that we are on the right path.  We can feel free to question those around us.   They are our guides, our guardian angels and our helpers.  We can always count on them when we need them. 

For those that come to us for assistance, we must be sure to treat them with compassion and respect. 

We are to enjoy our journey and the beautiful reflections of self along the way.  All that we need to master this journey is available and waiting for us.

THE PATH OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE - PART 1

Moving forward, we travel along our life’s path periodically experiencing some fantastic, awe inspiring events along the way.  We are encouraged to veer from the well trodden path to cut a trail where few seemed to have ventured.  At least this is how it feels. 

The venture seems new and exciting.  As we move forward we begin to see just how warn the path actually is.  Many have traveled this path ahead of us.  The course of our path has been prepared for us and if we look closely we will come to realize that many walk beside us.

 

Imagine a flow of people venturing down this meandering path.  There are many twists and turns.  It is a path highlighted in places by our life-giving sun, filled with hills and valleys and bountiful foliage on all sides.  Some valleys have deep crevices and some hills rise up to become great mountains.  Somehow, we are not intimidated by these things that stand in front of us.  We may experience flashes of fear but faith reassures us that we will persevere and conquer the route that this path will provide. 

As we move deep into the forests, we notice that the mountains and valleys are not near as steep as they first appeared.  It is as thought the path shifts as we approach to make the travel easier for us.  Although the well-worn path continues forever forward, we are not hesitant or overwhelmed.  We cannot see beyond the next curve in the path but somehow we know that we are moving in the right direction. 

This is so with all things in life.  What can appear insurmountable at first glance becomes far less intimidating as we examine it more closely.  All that is required of us is to take those first steps to conquer anything we are presented with.

 

Our path leads us to enlightenment and our eventual oneness with source.  Never fear losing your way or wandering off course for when we feel we have veered off course, we actually are experiencing part of our journey.  We may lose sight of the path from time to time but if we keep putting one foot in front of the other, it will eventually reappear exactly where it should be.  Wherever we find ourselves is not by change.  Our timing is always impeccable and we are exactly where we should be on our journey.

CURRENT TRANSITING JUPITER & NORTH NODE CONJUNCTION

Transiting Jupiter has been in aspect to the North Node (NN) since December of 2015 and will remain in conjunction until July of 2016.  The intensity does back off somewhat from March to May of this year. 

The most intense period would have been January and February, 2016, when they were in the 22-23 degree range in Virgo, but they will once again gain in intensity in mid-June when they will be at 15-16 degrees in Virgo.  This will be the final connection.

This is a positive aspect particularly if you have any planetary links or if your Ascendant, DC, MC or IC are in the specific degrees mentioned above.  The more planets in these areas and the more any significant areas in your chart make contact (defined by the ASC, DC, MC AND IC) the greater the impact Jupiter and the NN will have in your life.  Check to see which house this conjunction is in as well as any natal houses that carry planetary links to get an idea of what areas of life will be affected.

The NN (north node) has to do with our destined path, our life’s course and represents what we have come to do in this life.  In transit, it often indicative of the turning points and indicates the direction of the conjunction energy.  With Jupiter, the planet of expansion and good luck, there may be opportunities to get a closer glimpse of your intended path in life or what it may be specifically at this point in life.  You may get a gentle push to help steer you in the appropriate direction.

Jupiter will expand the NN potential and provide golden opportunities to make things happen.  With your help, you can be pushed on your way and will receive assistance in identifying at least in part, your life’s objectives in a very positive functioning manner.  With this conjunction being in the sign of Virgo, this may be the time to get organize, to promote yourself and to push forward.  Virgo has a lot to do with service, giving and putting your life in order.  You can now steer your efforts in this direction, eventually turning this energy inward and helping yourself.

Jupiter promotes confidence and has a spiritual link or religious overtones in its energy.  If there is a link in your natal chart between these two points (Jupiter and the NN) these energies are once again activated and the timing is perfect to advance forward with some confidence knowing that you are on the right track.  The natal aspect will indicate if it will be difficult for you to find this course, or if things open up and reveal themselves to you easily.

This aspect should have been posted earlier and we apologize for the delay, but we can now prepare for the final conjunction in June.  The last pass often points towards a clearer idea of where you are meant to go and what path to follow.  Use the remaining time to reflect and build on what you may have started in the beginning of this year and prepare for the outflow of energies in the final pass of this conjunction.

REINCARNATION - FACT OR FICTION?

Most of us understand the concept of reincarnation whether we believe in reincarnation or disbelieve.  It is said by some that upon death we are freed from our earthly vehicles (bodies) and at a later date, not determined by time, we may choose to come back into the physical realm once again.

It is thought that there are lessons that can only be learned through the physical existence and these lessons are so important to our higher self that we choose to experiences a material life in order to grow spiritually and gain further insight. 

It is believed that we can return many times to an earthly existence.  The soul or higher self decides on the best course of action to take when striving to learn.  Our higher self or soul is always present during the material existence and quietly guides us if we care to listen with our hearts.

Some souls, we are told, remaining in their energetic form where they can help and guide those living in the physical realm.  We are also told that some souls utilize all that an earthly life has to offer and complete the need for further earthly existences. 

It is my personal belief that we have come into this existence to expand as a whole and ultimately return to our source as one, but this is a personal knowing and I cannot prove this to others.

There are some that do not believe in reincarnation and this too is a personal choice.  The best any of us can do it stay open and objective to learning more on all life’s subjects.  Being open to anything can expand our knowing, not on just this subject but on any subject.  Being open and waiting for our own personal proof is the best we can do.  We will acquire whatever knowledge is perfect for our specific point in our soul’s development as long as we remain open to all possibilities.  We can only go with what feels right to us personally.

Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, find comfort in the never-ending cycle of life and know that you are a spiritual being living an earthly existence.  Stay open and allow the natural process to unfold.  Life is a magical gift waiting to be experienced.  Enjoy!
