NEPTUNE TURNING RETROGRADE PART I

Neptune turns retrograde on June 13, 2016 beginning at 12 degrees Pisces.  It will remain stationary for three days (June 13-16, 2016).  A reminder that stationary positions are, by far, the more powerful energy. 

The outer planets remain in retrograde for longer periods of time and this retrograde cycle of Neptune will last until November, 2016.  It will barely move 3 degrees in the horoscope (12-9degrees) over a 150 day period.

Those that have Neptune in retrograde in their birth charts will certainly be affected.  Those that have Neptune stationary in their birth chart will be even more powerfully affected.  “Powerfully” may not be the appropriate word as Neptune’s energies are very subtle ways.  Its influences are felt often through intuitive channels and the unconscious minds. 

In direct motion, Neptune often suggests cloudiness with our reasoning, potential deception or we may not be facing facts.  In its higher representation is suggests idealism.  It also could suggest a romantic involvement often associated with an idealistic view of the partner or situation.  It is also linked to artistic abilities coming to the surface.  Neptune is linked with fantasy and visions while in direct motion but its energies turn to reality and dealing with facts when in retrograde.  Openheartedness and level-headedness linked to common sense are terms that could also be associated with Neptune’s retrograde cycles.

Since Neptune deals primarily with the mystical and spiritual side of our consciousness, during this time you may find that you realize more concrete solutions or answers to questions pertaining to these pursuits.  This applies particularly to those with Neptune retrograde in their birth charts.  Look to see which house Neptune is transiting through during this cycle and also look where Neptune is located in your birth chart. 

Remember if you have moved to a new area at least two hundred kilometres from where you were born, it is important to have your chart relocated.  This could change your chart drastically or in a minor way depending on the distance you have moved from your birth location.  A relocated chart should always be used when working with transits if you have moved from your birth position.

LOVE OPENS DOORS

Seek not from outside that can only truly be found within. 

Open the doors to true perception through visualization and awareness.  Love can only be found within.  It is ever present within and is begging to be recognized and shared.  Allow this emotion to flow freely not only on an emotion level but also on an instinctual level.

Love cannot develop through our intellect although we must recognize its presence.  Love is a living breathing energy that radiates outward once recognized and released.  It is ever-expansive and always seeks expansion.  It can never be lost, although if the mind is allowed to wonder off in different directions or on a different focus, it may appear as though it has been lost.

Love is available to everyone regardless of their characters and can be found at any level of understanding.  Even those that practice the most intrusive behaviours are loved.  Unfortunately many individuals misplace their love in material things.  Better still they mistake other emotions for love.  At times loves appears to be blemished by life events; however true love is pure and is forgiving.

To reconnect to love we must turn within.  If your world appears to be lacking in love, you have hidden it away deep within.  You cannot save love or lock it away.  It only flourishes when it is allows to flow freely.  Believe that you are worthy of love, especially self love, even if your mind says that you are not. 

Open your heart and allow its energy to shines bright.  It is calling you!  Love is your inner light, your core and it radiates warmth to the furthest reaches of life’s experiences.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT NATAL MOON

In Astrology when the Moon is involved, changes are common.  When Neptune is part of the equation these changes can become quite tedious and troublesome, unless you are quite accurate in determining exactly how to handle them.  Neptune tends to cloud things and when conjoined with the Moon not only can you expect change, although sometimes quite subtle, you can also expect these changes to be emotional in nature.

This transit can be considered psychic in nature and has the potential to inspire psychic abilities that may have been dormant for some time.  Now may be the time for them to surface unless the Moon or transiting Neptune is in the twelfth house, as sometimes the twelfth suggests hidden matters.  The twelfth can also suggest psychic abilities coming to the surface and you may be fighting to keep these abilities buried.  Watch for becoming confused or disoriented during this phase, as much that occurs may stem from the unconscious.

Watch for confusion with the emotions, as you may interpret feelings in one manner when it fact they are actually coming from a completely different direction.  Seeing things clearly is a challenge when it comes to Neptune although insight is also quite possible, as well as the potential to find solutions in the dream state.  You could actually program your dreams now and analyse them with more precision than you could at other times.

Since Neptune also relates to your ideals and the things that might fascinate you, it is important especially if the fifth or seventh houses are involved to make sure you are not falling in love with an ideal rather than seeing a potential romantic partner as they truly are.  You could fall deeply in love at this time and your emotions might run away with you.  It is advised that once the fog clears that you have another look (when the conjunction has passed).

Sometimes people can become hesitant, even unwilling to deal with cold hard facts during this conjunction.  They may be so caught up in the emotion of it energies that they push passed any adversity that might otherwise be a warning signal.  On the other hand, you might just have found your prince or princess charming.  Do not be afraid to ask others for their opinions, before you jump in head over heels.  An unemotional opinion may be helpful.  Keep one foot in the real world during this transit and this can be difficult. 

Make sure you check the house position of this connection to decipher which area of life will be involved and also have a look at the natal position of Neptune in your chart as this will provide additional details about what energies are available.  You should also look at how the Moon and Neptune are aspected in your birth chart, by other planets and positions and especially if they contact each other and what the contact is.  This plays a big part in defining how things might materialize during this aspect.

A CHANGE OF DIRECTION

Are the winds of change blowing?  Are the seeds of change growing in your mind?  Do you feel the urge to move forward but you are not sure where this new journey might take you? 

These are all signs of a shift in consciousness.  You may find yourself venturing off in a different direction and life may change drastically, but this will only transpire if you are meant to travel in this specific direction.  Your life may not change in an outward expression; it may just shift on an inner manner.

This shift or new perception is forthcoming as there is a need for new focus.  Our current direction no longer serves a viable purpose.  We are ready for a conscious shift and we have noticed that life seems to be stagnating and a restlessness is grows each day.  This is most often felt inwardly but sometimes is reflected outwardly for our inner self is always reflected in our immediate environment.

Do not be alarmed by the confusion that often accompanies a transition.  It is temporary in its nature and is quite common.  It is the blending of the fading past and the new pushing its energies forward.  A new dawning is fast approaching.  This is an awakening of sorts, but usually awakening doe not present themselves in ways we would have perceived them.  The mind will race through what is happening and will try to come up with a practicable solution for what it feels is an appropriate but this is ego again trying to take control.

Do not let the mind interfere with the process.  It does not understand.  Let go and wait for the transformation to take hold.  Your unconscious mind, or should I say your conscious inner self will take whatever action is required.  You are to sit still and remain low key while this shift takes place.  It will come in phases as the full change is generally too much to take in all at once.  As it unfolds, however, you will feel the shift in small gentle alternating waves of understanding.

This shift is different from anything we have previously experienced and will feel as though it is alien to, at least at first.  We cannot imagine how it will be released, so let’s not try to control it.  Letting go is necessary as w are being prepared for the shift.  We have come to the realization that right now we are not the controlling factor in our lives.  We understand that it is better to go with the flow rather than try to fight the current of change.

It is time.  Be receptive and accept these positive changes.  Remember this is exactly what is needed and you are ready.

NEW MOON IN GEMINI

We will be experiencing a New Moon in Gemini on June 4, 2016 at 10:59 p.m. in our area.  The New Moon is a time to plan and plant seeds, to set things in motion and start moving in a direction of choice.  This New Moon in Gemini is conjunct the Sun at 14 degrees.  If you have any planets in your birth chart at 14 degrees (a range from 11-17degrees) either conjunct, opposition, square, quincunx, trine or sextile, (in other words in major aspect), you will find the energies of this particular New Moon influential in your life.

Gemini’s energies strongly influence communication and interaction with others.  Discussions about most any subject and furthering the intellect are very reflective of what Gemini would want to accomplish.  As a result, you could prepare for things such as schooling yourself either through reading, research or continued education under the influence of this new Moon.  Moving towards in these areas and establishing what you want to accomplish for yourself can be activated during this New Moon phase.

If you have been contemplating furthering your education, beginning a book (this includes publishing or preparing to write a book), this would be a good time to start such projects.  If you have other planets making aspect to this degree in your birth chart, (much will depend on what type of aspect) you can push forward, either through some struggle or through easy flow of energy.  Again, much depends on the planets making aspects and the houses involved.

Transiting Venus is conjunct within minutes to this New Moon phase.  This suggests potential for open communication with women, especially young women, potential opportunities to move into a relationship and the potential for a very social time.  These are all favourable opportunities as Venus can bring about romance especially if Mars is part of the aspect configuration. 

Transiting Jupiter is in square to this position, actually forming a Mutable Cross with Transiting Pluto and Transiting Neptune.  These latter aspects suggest some challenging conditions along the way.

A Grand Cross does suggest some struggle, although it also provides the incentive for perseverance and the energies to challenge the issues and make them work for you.  This configuration is present for everyone although it weakens rather quickly lasting only about one week.  The New Moon is part of this configuration (which is very temporary), but does suggest some early struggles and then with perseverance, potential opportunities as time goes by.

The energies of a Grand Cross usually feels like you are being pulled in several directions all at once and initially this could be cause for great pressure and a wish to move out of this difficulty.  If you are influenced due to other planetary connections, you will need to find a place (mentally) where you can view the problem without allowing yourself to own it or become completely submerged in it.  View the potential outcome as a positive one, even if it looks rather bleak.  A positive mental attitude is always suggested under any conditions we are faced with in life.

Enjoy this New Moon and make it work to your benefit.  You can expect to see the initial changes influenced by these energies within several days following the influence of the new Moon.  Nurture the seeds so that you can enjoy a harvest down the road.  It is said that much of what you begin now will reach fruition when the Full Moon moves into the sign of Gemini in six months time.
