TESTING GROUND

Staying focused and on course with our higher objectives no matter what the circumstances is the true test of our path.  These tests only serve to verify our true potential, strength and resolve.

Life IS a testing ground.  It is important to adjust our mental attitude during life lessons and continually adapt in ways to help facilitate this necessary growth.  We can not only navigate through any ground breaking experiences but we can also grow immensely from the experience.  Once the lesson is complete, our life experience is enriched from the lesson learned.

We are strong.......beyond our comprehension.  We are capable of not only managing but flourishing as a result of any life event.  We have more than enough strength to not only grow from these lessons but to also motivate others to help themselves when they too are experiencing a more challenging period in their lives.  There are many who are not aware of their own inner strength.  Through our own experiences we can assist those that would appreciate help to understanding the experiences being presented to them.

Many of us are just awakening to our own potential.  Once we learn that our abilities are ingrained, we learn to call upon our gifts any time we need to use them.  These are always at our disposal and the only thing that holds us back is our own recognition of and faith in our abilities.  We are our own greatest obstacle.  Release your self doubt and you remove these obstacles.

Life is a continual lesson.  Life is a testing ground of our faith.  Many lessons are best taught from a physical level of understanding.  Remember that you are spirit having an earthly experience not the other way around.

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT NATAL MARS

Transiting Uranus goes retrograde towards the end of July and stays retrograde until the end of December of this year (2016). 

Those with Mars within a five degree aspect of Uranus (approximately 20-29 degrees of Aries) would have a conjunction affecting their lives at present.  The blending of the energies of Mars and Uranus is not always a pleasant combination.  It can affect your actions as Mars in Aries is quite assertive and wants to push ahead in life vigorously.  Mars does tend to rush too much and when tied to Uranus the impulse is to propel forward without thinking.  Often when these two meet, you will act on a whim which can at times lead to unfavourable results.  Taking time to think things through is advisable, as abrupt, impulsive actions often create mistakes especially during the direct motion of the planets.

If you have been thinking about taking action on something of importance and you have also taken the appropriate time to review what action you should take and prepared, you may want to move forward with some disciplined action inside the coming six weeks or so, before Uranus goes retrograde.  This could include beginning a business but be sure to take all steps necessary to ensure that you have not missed any important steps before you start to act upon your chosen direction in the coming weeks.  Check to see which houses are being activated now in your chart especially the houses where Uranus and Mars are located and the house with Aries either in it or on its cusp.  These will be areas of life being affected by this conjunction.

As mentioned, you may be a little too impulsive, and there is always the potential for accidents, including car accidents and accidents with sharp tools, when we rush.  Please be careful and do not rush.  Mars and Uranus are similar in their actions and being careful is highly advised.  Impulsive, rash behaviour can lead to accidents and also suggests arguementive behaviours leading to fallouts in relationships. 

Your temper can easily become aroused and you will have to watch for this.  Watch for putting your own concerns before those of others and make sure you always consider what affect you might have on others if you were to take specific actions.

This is a powerful connection and can lead to unique discoveries, potentially in fields connected to science, computers and even astrological connections.  Uranus wants to break free of any restrictive behaviour and the desire to move in new directions may be quite strong. 

If, for example, the conjunction is in the seventh house, it is quite possible that a relationship is involved.  This could be wildly romantic and sexually impulsive, but often when Uranus is involved it is temporary in nature, but not always.  There are strong sexual overtones attached to this combination especially if linked to the fifth or eighth houses in your chart.

The best advice is to move ahead with some caution.  It would be perfect if Saturn were involved in the equation. 

If the Sun is also involved this could be the time of reaching your objectives and once again if you have done your homework, things could work out favourably for you. 

If the MC is involved this would make the link complete when it comes to moving forward in your career or schooling and reaching your goals in life or at the very least making the correct preparations for your future. 

If the Moon is involved you can undoubtedly expect some change of direction, perhaps even a move and women may play an important part in these events, especially the mother.

You can do great things with this conjunction and if you are not ready to move forward before the end of July then this will be a preparation stage.  You will have time to carefully plan your next move during the retrograde cycle and then move ahead towards the end of this year and into the New Year.  Patience is a virtue.  You may feel the urge to make the moves before Uranus goes retrograde.  If you must act before Uranus goes direct, be sure that all the t’s are crossed and the i’s are dotted before you do so.

CHALLENGING CONDITIONS FOSTERING GROWTH

Does it appear that you are at a standstill?  Usually those times we experience that feeling that we have stagnated are actually opportunities to review.  Once the review is complete, a new growth spurt is experienced.  Are you aware of the specific energies that are taking a leading role in your evolving story?  If you can feel their influence, you would realize that you have actually not stagnated.

It is at these times and during times that you face hurdles that you are learning to remain steadfast in your approach as well as to put into practice all that you have learned to this point.  You may feel as though you are at the mercy of life but you are somehow gaining inner resolve, even though you do not quite understand what is taking place.

This struggle or stagnation will pass with lessons well learned (perseverance, patience, etc.) and you will again regain your momentum to continue on your voyage to understanding.  The fog clears and you regain your stability once again.  Although these conditions felt challenging, you have learn to have faith in the process.  You recall what has brought you to where you are now and recognize all the impacting events you have experienced before this time.  These experiences have their value for you do not stand here, in this place and at this moment, as a result of a brief moment of indecision.

There is no doubt that these times can be challenging.  Stifling of ego will help to alleviate the negative feelings associated with these conditions.  You do not feel lost or restrained.  It is your ego that is trying to make you believe that this is how you feel.  By identifying with its influence, you falter and as a result, you sometimes can forget your path, at least temporarily.  You will regain your momentum once you understand that ego is influencing you and affecting your attitude.

Do not get caught up in this pretentious attitude.  You are far beyond that.  The ego is simply grasping for control.  Hold on to your truth and ride the wave.  It won’t last much longer.  Remind yourself that this is a period in life that is offered up to reflect.  It is a time to reflect on where you have come from, what you have learned and to ready yourself for what is ahead.  You are to simply listen to the inner or higher voice that suggests that this is a requirement and that reflection is the key.  Enjoy the experience!

TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE THE MIDHEAVEN

Neptune deals primarily with energies of “other-world” understanding, such as the mystical side of life, spiritual realizations, truths that are found within and uncovering your own spiritual alignment.  Neptune suggests that we have a deep profound look at life and come to an understanding based on the awakening of spiritual insight.  Neptune can work on subliminal channels and will use the unconscious to evaluate our lives from a higher perspective based on intuitive understanding.  It can open the channels to what our dreams are communicating and allows hidden channels of exchange with other realms of existence.

When Neptune is connected to the MC (Midheaven or Medium Coeli ) by trine (MC deals with occupation, status and goals in life), your desires can put you in a place of service where you can work behind the scenes, perhaps in an institution or in a social service position.  This type of positions will help you reach these objectives in your life.  There is a need and desire to assist those less fortunate, the poor and disenfranchised or those that are sick and need assistance.  This could also be linked to charity work where ego or the feelings of superiority do not play a part in the process.  You would work exclusively to help those who need your assistance in some way and during this transit you may be drawn to organizations that will put your ego to rest at least for the time being.

Your own ego drive will not be too strong during this trine and your own personal needs may be thwarted by the needs of others.  Because of this, you will have to make sure that you service your own needs as well as the needs of others.  Personal relationships could suffer because of this or people recognizing this desire to help others may push their needs on to you and use you knowing that you are susceptible to these influences.  It is extremely important that you also focus some attention on your own personal needs.

In general, trines are considered favourable aspects and will usually assist you and work with you in achieving or maneuvering yourself in directions that are more favourable.  In rare instances particularly when we have been travelling a less than desirable paths, a trine can speed up the process and provide the thrust to propel you further into directions that are not so pleasing.  In general however trines and sextiles are what we wait for in Astrology.  They often provide good luck, easy flow and advantageous circumstances that are favourable for us.

Remember to take into consideration which house is being transited by Neptune and which planet rules your MC.  This information will provide you with insight into how the energies will work themselves out and in which area of life these energies will manifest themselves.  Also take a look at the overall condition of Neptune in your birth chart.  If it is well aspected, expect better than anticipated results and if it is poorly aspected, things will usually work out well in the long haul, but it may take some work from you to get to where you want to go.

NEPTUNE TURNING RETROGRADE – PART II

We are continuing with our Neptune retrograde post from June 8, 2016.  We will define how this Neptune retrograde positioning can affect your chart.

For example, if you have Neptune in the first house in your birth chart, and transiting Neptune is in the sixth house, this could reveal an awakening of sorts to the workings of spirituality in your life.  This energy will assist you in seeing things more clearly and realizing the mystical qualities in your life.  This could also present itself as a change in health conditions, a change in the working environment and an overall attitude adjustment to the nature of life and how it affects you in physical terms. 

Neptune in the first house suggests a spiritual life.  It suggests an awakening and enlightenment unfolding over time.  Much depends on the state of Neptune in its natal position as to how this plays itself out.  We all have Neptune sextile to Pluto in our birth charts (the tighter the aspect the stronger the energies) which suggests that inner reflection and dynamic changes in our perceptions which will lean towards spiritual matters.  For those with artistic abilities, the development of this potential will be part of life’s unfolding story.

If for example you have natal Neptune in the second house and transiting Neptune in the seventh house, the experience may deal with financial matters or security from an inner perspective associated with business matters or relationships.  During this time, you may end up getting married or the relationship could become somehow more real, as you will see past any illusive thoughts or visions you may have held about your potential partner.  This may also be represented through a contact or an associate with ties to your business.

Transiting Neptune is moving through its own sign of Pisces.  Neptune takes 14 years to move through a sign.  This planet has been in Pisces since the spring of 2011 and will remain in Pisces until 2025.  Neptune in Pisces will be related to the mystical unfolding which will last several generations, due to the length of time Neptune and Pluto will be in sextile with one another.  This sextile may be tied to the awakening that is currently taking place.  It will bring to the forefront greater awareness of our own mystical pursuits and awaken latent talents associated with spirituality and the psychic connection we all share.  This is a glorious time for mankind.  This is part of the dynamics of the shift that is taking hold in our world.  This is a transitional stage and as Neptune deals with fact and fiction, illusive periods will lead the way to the awakening stages of evolution. 

Much of what takes hold over the next six months will have to be delineated with respect to the overall condition of Neptune in your birth chart, other aspects to Neptune through its transit, as well as any other planet that will be affected through transit during this period.  The natal chart should be deciphered, as well as the progressed and solar charts for the period in question in order to get an overall picture of what will be unfolding.

THE LION WITHIN

Every day is special, if we decide to look at it that way.

On this special day, take a moment to look in the mirror and make a conscious effort to acknowledge who you are, with all of your positive attributes.  On this special day, take a moment to remind yourself that you will meet your expectations and reach your goals.  Not only will you reach them but you will exceed them.  Remind yourself that not only are you on target and in perfect alignment, but you can make anything happen.  With these reminders, you will have the ability to climb any mountain, to reach any summit and quiet any storm.  When you look at yourself and your abilities with a positive attitude, your abilities are enhanced, your vision is clear and your direction is obvious.

Move towards your goals while extending a helping hand to those that need assistance.  This will make your goals that much more rewarding.

Stand your ground in the face of adversity for truly they are only lessons.  Have the audacity to know when to be self sufficient and when to accept guidance from higher forces. 

Stand tall, know your place and be free.  Be the king of your jungle and have faith in yourself and the process.  There is always a way!  Allow you, the king of your jungle, to reign.
