WHEN STRUGGLES ARE ABUNDANT

Do your struggles never seem to cease? 

If it feels as though your back is against the wall and you are not sure which way to turn, remember the darkest moment is always just before the dawn.  Life’s circumstances always rebound and although the course we take is not always the course we had hoped for, our true journey will transform us and teach us the lessons that we will need in our future. 

You may ask “how long do I have to wait?” when you feel as though you are at the end of my ropes. 

Truly believe that there is nothing in this life that you are not strong enough to or capable of overcoming unless, of course, you give up and you allow your attitude to sink below the positive points of your current learning experience.  If you actually want to succeed, giving up in reality is not an option.  If you can recognize the constant nagging voice that keeps you in your darkest moments, and know it for what it truly is, ego, than you can stop identifying with it and its message and in turn, recognize it for what it is.

Nothing can hurt us more in life than the relentless ego and people get so lost in its deceitful message, they believe it to be true and to be a part of the self.  When we allow ourselves to bask in the sorrows of ego’s message, we completely identify with its message and making it our own.  It is then that we become blind and numb to the truth.  We become overwhelmed because we forget how to turn it off and are bombarded with ego’s constant defiling message that drowns hope. 

Recognize negativity.  Put ego in its proper place.  Channel your thoughts in a different direction.  No matter how hard, force yourself to see the positive in each and every event you experience.  In the beginning, it will be hard to find that one small positive spark but if you look deep enough, even in the most bleak moment, there is a shred of light. 

There will be moments for all of us that we are faced with life changing decisions.  All change can be difficult if we do not let go of the passed to move into our future.  Our positive decisions can open doors of opportunities unlike we have ever know.   It is frightening to release our grip on the past even if the things and people of our past no longer serves us but we do have the strength to let go so that we can reach forward to grasp our future. 

Have faith in the process and have faith in yourself.  Know that we are expanding and growing even during the most uncomfortable circumstances.  Our attitude forms a large portion of our reality.  If we focus on those things that we do not enjoy or like, our life will feel as though it is heavy and stagnant.  If we focus on the blessings and joys in our life, life will feel expansive and joyful.  When we change our attitude, we change our circumstances.  These changes may require action on our part.  If we are positive, we will have faith in ourselves and in the events in our life. 

Change is inevitable.  If we fight it, we create discord.  We will survive and be stronger and more resilient after each life lesson.  Stay true to yourself, not your ego.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE IN ASPECT TO NATAL VENUS, PART II

We began our look at transiting Neptune aspecting Natal Venus on July 25, 2016. 

If Neptune in square to Venus in the natal chart, this is often suggestive of an individual that displays the more susceptible side of this combination and they will be the one that is infatuated with romance and they could place their loved one on a pedestal.  They see love through rose coloured glasses and either over idealize their partner or are overly suspicious of them.  In some way, their view on love and romance is tainted. 

Individuals with the opposition are often susceptible to being used and they could over-identifying with the love that surrounds them. 

Those individuals who have a trine and sextile will find that the people they are attracted to and those that are attracted to them will be reliable in their response.  They will have a much easier time when it comes to love.  They can be more realistic in their approach and may attract the perfect partner and discover a deep and true spiritual connection. 

As with the trine and sextile between Neptune and Venue, this is also the case with the more challenging aspects but they may go through several relationships before the person of their dreams becomes a reality. 

Many with this combination are drawn to people with challenging life conditions.  They may take on the role of the saviour for others or look for others to take on that role in their lives.

The house position of Neptune as well as Venus will define how this will connect in a birth chart.  The area of life, whether it be through communication with loved ones especially siblings (3^rd) or through family concerns and route causes (4^th) or in personal relationships romantic or otherwise (1^st and 5^th), and how Neptune and Venus will express themselves will be reflected by the house position.  Neptune along with Cancer is often considered the nurturer of the zodiac, and with Venus in Pisces or connections between these two planetary energies a love for others is very evident.  They love to look after and take care of others as much as they like others to do this for them.

Neptune aspecting Venus can also be found in the charts of creative individuals.  Actors, musicians and artists will often have this connection strong in their charts.  It is also found with dancers, interior design, and in general people that have a way of creating beautiful things.  They can be lovers of the fine things in life.  Their inspiration becomes enhanced when surrounded by water.  A cottage by the lake would be ideal and they could use their vivid imagination to create things of beauty.

HINTS ON CONNECTING WITH YOUR GUIDES, PART II

We are continuing our post on meditation from July 21, 2016.

We cannot stress how important it is to stay open to the possibility that you can get to experience great meditations.   All too often people listen to their ego and they come to believe that they could not possibly have a meaningful contact with their guides and higher self.  Ego may suggest that you are not evolved enough or not spiritual enough or simply not able.  Understand that any thoughts that say it can’t be done are ego generated.  Everyone has the ability; it is a natural born ability for us all. 

When attempting to contact a higher source, create the feeling that you are waiting for someone to knock on the door or for someone to walk in.  You know they are coming and you are waiting on them to enter or make themselves known to you.  This anticipation opens the door and allows the energies to enter your awareness.

Many of your guides will operate on different frequencies.  Some may have a difficult time communicating, while others are quite adept at communication.  Once you open the door, they enter freely and easier.  Know that you are in search of someone who is God centred and highly evolved.  Make this known.  Ask for the pure of heart and for guidance that will further your pure evolution.  Above all else, do not let fear (ego generated) to enter into the experience.  This will halt everything.  Do not align yourself with ego and its fear base focus.  It is not you and you should not identify with it.

It may take time but eventually you will begin to recognize when you guides are in your presence.  It can be a feeling, it may be a message.  Their energies can often be felt once you recognize them.  Many people ignore the signs and messages pass them by without any or little notice. 

These experiences are called super-natural.  Think of these words and you will understand that it is a normal, natural process that many have dismissed.  As children, we were told that we should stop our imagination, our exploration, our innocence, our openness.  Now as adults, the time is here once again to re-open these doors to natural perception.

You can connect with your angels, your guides, your higher self and your family members that have passed on simply by realizing and accepting that they are with you.  Persevere and be steadfast in your approach regardless of how long it takes, or how much you feel stands in the way. 

You will find what you are looking for.  Be open to the subtle energies for they are gentle, compassionate and loving.  These guides stand by you and are always ready to assist you any time you ask.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT VENUS PART I

Neptune is currently in the sign of Pisces.  If transiting Neptune and Natal Venus were conjunct in a chart, natal Venus would also be in Pisces.  The energies of this conjunction would influence the client to seek out the perfect spiritual union.  There would be a tendency to put their lover on a pedestal and idealize them.  There is a great need for an understanding of each other that goes far beyond the commonplace concepts and everyday understanding in a standard relationship.  With this aspect, there has to be a connection that knows no boundaries, where love can reach heights unattainable through normal expectations.  There needs to be a psychic connection where both partners and there will be an instinctive understanding of what the other is thinking and feeling. 

There is the possibility for great love with this connection but also an expectations that may be too high of the partner.  It would be wise to view the relationship with these realizations as this individual with Neptune conjunct Venus could become obsessive with what they visualize of and expect from their partner.  Obviously in reality, the partner would fall short of the expectations and when this is realized and a true understanding is obtained of who this partner is, it can be a bit of a disappointment.  If those with this aspect keeps things in perspective and understands that we are all human with our human flaws, they may not be as troubled when they come down to earth and realize who their partner truly is.

Neptune and Venus conjunct indicate an individual who knows love.  There are no boundaries and infatuation is often a by-product with love affairs.  These individuals love with all their heart and they also feel love and devotion on a very spiritual level of understanding.  There is often something magical in the relationship, something unusual almost spiritual in the union.  This is why they will have to be open minded and honest with themselves when the person that stands before them reveals their true identity.

Venus in Pisces individuals are very emotionally attached to people.  They truly love others and feel great compassion.  They are willing to listen to their loved ones with intensity and often feel what they are experiencing on a very deep, almost profound level.  They may get confused with the intensity of their compassion and love.  They can mistake the feelings and experience of others as their own.  They take on other people’s problems or they can spread themselves too thin because of what is taking place with other people.

They are social and gentle people.  They can almost be lost because of their lack of objectivity and their sensitive nature is beyond comparison.  They may also be attracted to beautiful surroundings - a gentle water’s edge or a beautiful landscape and these can infiltrate their inner state profoundly.  They are considered very likable, extremely kind and often psychic. 

Venus in Pisces individuals feel life rather than mentally intellectualize life’s experiences.

SUN IN LEO

On July 23 of this year, the Sun will move into the sign of Leo which is a fixed fire sign. 

Those with strong Leo tendencies (this will include not only having the Sun in Leo, but also having the rising sign in Leo or several planets in the fifth house) are natural leaders.  They are not followers or people who need direction.  As a matter of fact, this is where they shine, as they need to be in charge.  They are very ambitious and can dominate any conversation and often stand out in the crowd.  They want to be noticed and will go out of their way to make sure that you know they are there.

They are confident people and demand attention and although they are very friendly, open-hearted and giving, they still like appreciation for all of their hard efforts.  They will go out of their way to make others comfortable and stop at nothing to help those in need.  But if they are not appreciated for their actions, you will fall out of favour.  If you let a Leo individual down, they can easily become disenchanted and hurt.  This is all due their big hearts and sensitivity.

They are strong willed and self-regulating and will not depend on others to get the job done.  They can delegate but know they can rely on themselves so they would not have a problem doing what must be done themselves.  They want to be successful, look successful and can lead others and help others make their dreams come true.  They can fulfill their own dreams and these dreams are often big.

As a lover they are romantic, sensual and dedicated once they find someone to give their heart to.  Many will have countless romantic affairs in search of that perfect partner.  As mentioned, appreciation means a great deal to them.  If this need is not fulfilled and they do not feel valued or respected, they can let go of a relationship even if it has been long lasting.  Once they break off a relationship, there is usually no looking back.  Any power struggle can quickly end a relationship, as they need to have some control of the situation.  Compliment the Leo individual and you will have their attention; criticize them and trouble will surely follow.

There are many professions that are suitable to the typical Leo characteristics, although a leadership role is important.  You will find many good politicians under the Leo rule as well as teachers and lawyers.  Many have a flair for handling finances and you can find bankers under this admiral sign.

A Leo individual who is not centred or is without a clear direction can become overly self-centred and temperamental.  They may seek attention and will be very stubborn in their approach; they are right and that is that.  Some seem to boast about their accomplishments and few are humble.  Their arrogance at times can be quite distasteful.  However, this is the lower expression of the sign of Leo.  In general Leo individuals are kind hearted, loving individuals, who would do anything for others.  They will hold on to any meaningful relationships and this includes anyone who needs them and relates to them. 

Find yourself a well-rounded Leo and make a friend for life, a warm and faithful one at that.

HINTS ON CONNECTING WITH YOUR GUIDES, PART I

Relatives that have passed over and your guides are never very far away.  They are with you frequently and are at your side especially in times of need. 

Your guides do change over time as they are there to help you during specific times in your life and when their particular energies and expertise fit your areas of required growth at the time.  Many guides will come and go but there can be specific guides that are with you during your life time.

For those wanting to enjoy a clear connection with their guides, meditation is a wonderful tool.  To help get started, there are meditation techniques available from many sources and you will undoubtedly find at least one or more that will work well for you.  Your particular vibration fits certain procedures and you will have to find one or several that suit you.  Keep trying until you find what resonates with you and allows the energies to come through.  Do not expect some over-the-top experience.  The connection is very subtle at least in the early stages.  It is like a muscle, it takes practice and experience to get consistently good at clearing your mind.

Alternatively, you can meditate without any assistance from outside sources as the sounds of nature or simple silence may be your most helpful aid to silence your mind.

There will be times when you are connecting and you may not even be aware of it.  This often deters some of us from continuing our practice as we feel as though we are getting nowhere or that our progress is stifled. 

Watch for ego intervention, as ego will tell you that you are never ready for this connection.  Understand that you are always ready and you would not even be attempting to connect unless you were ready.

Some meditation experiences are simple silence and peace.  Do not underestimate this experience.  It is a wonderful one.  Reduce the chatter and rejuvenate the soul, mind and body.  This mediation brings us the strength and courage during trying times.  To still the mind also helps us to de-stress.

Some meditations allow the subtle voice within to provide us with valuable information.  This quite voice does not operate the same way that the mind does.  Sometimes the mind will repeat the words offered by our guides or higher self because the way you tap into these subtle connections do not come through on normal channels.  Some people’s experiences suggest that the words received from spirit/guides/higher self are not actually in the form of normal spoken words as the message is received instantaneously.  It does not take the normal time for the information to be processes such as when we are listening to verbal information.  It is as though everything is being said in an instant and comprehension is complete and clear also in the instant that the information is provided to us from our guides.  It is as though a whole sentence or even a paragraph is said instantaneously, all at once and this is foreign to the physical mind so our minds repeats the words.

Experiment with different ways of meditation over the next five days and we will continue this post on meditation on July 26, 2016.
