URANUS

Uranus, the planet of revolution and often sudden and drastic change, often causes havoc in people’s lives when in transits through the heavens.  It is the ruler of Aquarius, the water barer, and is commonly known as the awakener.  Its influence will function as a huge factor in making necessary changes to your life.  Uranus makes changes in areas of life that have outgrown their usefulness.  Uranus shows areas that require alteration and liberation from anything that could be considered traditional or restrictive in nature.  It creates a desire for the new and unique and often produces this in unexpected and in unconventional ways.

Uranus moves through each sign in approximately 7 years and takes a full 84 years to circle the zodiac.  During its movement, it creates quick results and a feeling of liberation and freedom from restriction.  It governs universal brotherhood and is humanitarian in its nature.  Uranus will force you to have an honest look at life’s issues and then enforce any necessary changes.  If you choose not to adhere to what is being proposed, this influence will often act in a much more abrupt manner and will then mostly likely be out of your control.

Uranus’ action is unpredictable, imaginative and also very inspirational.  It is the higher octave of Mercury and therefore is considered a planet linked to mental processing.  It deals a lot with potential outcomes and is future oriented.  Uranus pushes us to come out into the open and express our uniqueness and creativity.  It is linked with advanced mental quickness and agility, similar to Mercury, although the thinking process may be considered bohemian in its nature.

Uranus rules electricity and anything electronic, such as computers and technology at its newest innovation.  Uranus is anything but conventional.  Depending upon where it is found in your astrology charts, it will indicate where you choose to reveal your originality and uniqueness. 

If, for example, you have Uranus closely linked to the Ascendant in the first house, your originality will shine through.  Many would consider you (with this example) as a bit of an eccentric and you would not be ashamed of this flair which makes you stand apart from the crowd.

FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN JULY 9, 2017

We will be experiencing a Full Moon in Capricorn on July 9, 2017 at 12:06 a.m. (EST) at 18 degrees.  Depending on where you live, you may experience this Buck or Thunder Moon on July 8. 

Individuals with a planet or angle within 5 degrees of this 18 degree position will be affected by this Full Moon.  A Full Moon can have its greatest influence on the seeds that were planets 6 months ago when we experienced a New Moon in the same sign (Capricorn).

New Moons have the potential to set into motion or germinate seeds associated with the sign it is in.  During the New Moon phase in Capricorn, you may have planted seeds related to business and your profession.  Capricorn’s energies enhance diligence with anything that is set in motion.  Capricorn understands that patience will be part of a successful process.  In order to create something worthwhile, it takes time and effort and much of what is unfolding at this time, during the Full Moon, will be reflective of the energies you have been putting forth since last December’s new moon.  Capricorn understands that hard work it part of the process and is willing to do what must be done to achieve its objectives.

Much will depend on the house that will be affected by this Full Moon.  In order to obtain the house location, locate the position of 18 degrees Capricorn in your birth (natal) chart.  This will be the house that will be highlighted.  If the fourth house is highlighted, for example, then the area of home and family will be the focus.   If the location is your ninth house, the full moon’s energies could affect litigation, publishing, travel or education.

If by chance you find that you are ill prepared, it might be a good time to begin anew or revisit the conditions (in the area of life that is affected).  Make appropriate alterations to the process you have already begun.  If you have prepared well for this Full Moon’s energies and are ready, it is time to move forward with your objectives. 

If there seems to be many opposing factors to this positioning in your chart (challenging aspects) you would still be advised to move ahead although you may find that there are hurtles to overcome and there will be challenges along the way. 

If you have several easy aspects linked to this location, you will find that the energies are flowing without much restriction and your goals will be easily brought into fruition.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

What is our part on a global scale?  I suppose this world, begin at home.  How do we treat those around us? 

Can we not then do our part in projecting what we wish for ourselves by being what we wish for…..from the inside out? 

We lead by example, not by mere words.  Action is what unlocks doors.  Action is what motivates others.

SUN IN CANCER 2017 FORECAST, PART II

TRANSITING URANUS SQUARE NATAL SUN

For the remainder of 2017 and as far forward as May, 2018, transiting Uranus will reside in the sign of Aries.  Uranus goes into retrograde motion in November, 2018 moving back into Aries, until it finally returns into the sign of Taurus in March, 2019.  Uranus also goes retrograde on August 3, 2017 and will move as far back as 24 degrees Aries and then start its direct motion once again. 

It is said that Uranus’ energies while in direct motion push us towards a new found freedom from any restrictions to our personal growth and independence.  Some Astrologers have noted that while in the retrograde motion Uranus’ energies are more directed towards defending the course of other individuals, although certainly not always.  During its retrograde cycle, Uranus’ energies become more potent, although often from an internal perspective.

Uranus does stimulate psychological exploration and as Uranus is linked to freedom many of us will re-evaluate conditions of the past during its retrograde cycle.  This evaluation might define what we believe will be the right moves to make.  It is often about liberation on some level and breaking free and beginning anew more often than not on a different path.  Uranus’s action is often unexpected and sudden.  The action may come out of nowhere but the intellect has been stimulated and much may have been going on before we actually take that jump or leap of faith.

Uranus is also impulsive and when connected to the Sun, it may take charge of action with regards to life’s objectives and goals that may have laid dormant for some time.  Those of us affected by this energy may unexpectedly jump into a situation and make changes that will make us question our decision after the fact.  Many times these sudden unexpected moves happen because of outside conditions in our lives, and we may feel as though we need to make some drastic changes in order to clear the air or find a new path that is more suitable for our evolutionary quest.

Sometimes changes seem to happen without our awareness that they are somehow necessary to our inner growth.  Things may have been moving along smoothly for many years and all of a sudden the carpet seems to be pulled out from under our feet.  Believe it or not the changes taking place will work out over the long haul and will actually benefit our overall life conditions.  Sometimes we will not move out of comfortable conditions in life when we need to so outside forces must to push us in that direction.  This is not to say that we should jump because something seems to be pushing us.  It is always suggested that we take the time necessary to think things out before doing anything rash.  However, with the Uranus’ energies activated in our chart, sometimes life just seems to happen.  Do not worry.  Under most conditions if we are living our lives as we should, this energy will not be too disruptive.   We may only have to make minor adjustments along the way. 

Uranus’ energies, however, do need to be released and they are sometimes abrasive and unpredictable.  If by chance you feel as though you are being swept along life’s current, do not resist its energies too much and go with the flow of life.  It will eventually take you to where you need to go.  Fighting only delays the inevitable as eventually you will end up downstream (and this is exactly where you are suppose to be).

HOW DO YOU REACT TO LESS THAN IDEAL WORDS OR ACTIONS?

We have heard many conversations lately concerning negative treatment.  Imagine that you have just been mistreated, perhaps physically, mentally or emotionally.  As a result, you are not only hurt but you are also angry and want revenge.  What do you do about this?  How will you react - in thought and in action?

Throughout life, I am sure you have heard the statement “Two wrongs do not make a right”.  Do we just sit by idly and let negative action slide? 

This may not be the first time you have been victimized by this individual.  Last time, you may have done absolutely nothing.  Is this why it has happened again?  Perhaps your lack of action has made it easier for this individual to repeat their actions but YOU ARE NEVER responsible for someone else’s actions.

If you are suffering physical abuse, take action to protect yourself.  If it is your partner, it is time to reassess your relationship.  If it is a friend or acquaintance, it is time to reassess this relationship.  No one has the right to physically harm you.  If you live in fear because of this individual, seek assistance.  Love yourself enough to ensure you are safe and can be happy. 

If you are suffering from emotional or mental abuse, the same response is warranted.

There are certainly times in life when someone will speak hurtful words (without intent) and may not even be aware of the pain they have inflicted.  Sometimes in anger, we can say things that are exaggerated and hurtful.  Talking through these situations most often has a positive response.  Each of us may have emotional triggers that no one else is aware of.  Talking about what was said more often than not uncovers unresolved issues that may have nothing to do with the individual that triggers the emotional hurt. 

Even if the words were intentional, talking it through can get to the bottom of why harsh words were exchanged.  It is better to resolve issues than to let them fester and become bigger than life. 

Forgiveness is a wonderful response.  Do not live under the dark cloud of someone else’s actions or words.  These are things that you cannot control and are not yours to own.  They are a reflection of the individual that acted, not you. 

If you are the individual that said the hurtful words, it takes a strong person to admit they were wrong or said the wrong thing, even in the heat of an argument.  Admitting your error and taking action to correct it will go along way and says something about you as an individual.

If the words strike home because they have a flavour of truth, it also takes a strong individual to step up and apologize under these circumstances as well. 

If you feel the desire for vengeance and really want to get even, recognize that although you might actually feel temporary relief after the action, it is just that, temporary.  Buddha has been quoted as saying “Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned”.

We will heal if we choose to let go and not own the actions or words used.  Forgiveness is a giant step forward in healing.  There have been some very meaningful relationships formed through these types of first meetings or interactions.

Let love be your guide.  Come from a place of love and peace for self and for all others.  If we truly look for this, it can easily be found because this is our true identity.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE OPPOSITION NATAL MOON

If you have your natal Moon in the sign of Virgo, transiting Neptune could be in opposition to this position, depending on the degree of your Moon. 

Oppositions often involve other people and the Moon has a huge influence on your emotional makeup and your reaction to life’s events.  During this phase, you will have to be aware that you could be highly influenced by others, perhaps by deception or you may have a difficult time seeing through a vail of uncertainty.  Neptune tends to make life’s issues rather cloudy.

As mentioned, the Moon has a significant influence on our emotions.  During this phase, if you have this aspect in your chart, you may find that you are experiencing odd or unusual mood swings.  People seem to affect you even if you are not aware of it.  If you find that you moods suddenly shift for no apparent reason, check to see who is in your surroundings and what is transpiring in their life currently.  You may be taking on their energies on a subconscious level.

Your intuition may be somewhat off and although Neptune can inspire great intuitive insights and clairvoyant abilities, you would be wise to have someone who knows you well offer their insight before you make any sudden adjustments to your life.  If your world’s view is obscured and uncertain, understand that this could be due to the influence of Neptune and life should become more clear over time as this aspect moves away from being an influence in your chart.

Your inner feelings may not be too accurate during this aspect, and you may be reading things incorrectly.  Again, it is best to ask others for their opinion, but make sure that they are reliable and trustworthy.  If this energy is affecting a love relationship, you may find that you are having trouble seeing your mate with clarity, even if you feel you are.  You may be putting them on a pedestal and not seeing all their little flaws.  Eventually you may be disappointed to find out that they are only human after all.

The home and family may also need some attention as these are areas ruled by the Moon especially if the Moon is in the fourth house, if Neptune is currently transiting through the fourth house or if your natal Moon rules the fourth house. 

If the fifth house is highlighted, perhaps this energy may involve your children or your lover.  Your creativity might be heightened if the fifth is highlighted. 

If the sixth house is highlighted, take care of your health and make sure you are eating correctly and exercising appropriately.  Health can be affected because of what is now taking place in your life.  Mental confusion is often a off-shoot of this aspect and can create energies that make it hard to diagnose illnesses.  There would have to be other factors in your chart suggesting something similar with your health as well.  You need at least three indicators in your chart suggesting something similar to each other to have an actual influence in your life.

Make sure you are looking at life from a positive perspective, as Moon in Virgo has a tendency to over-analyze everything and tear apart even the best of conditions.  Always focus on the positive in life as you draw whatever you concentrate on into your life.  Although this may be a troublesome transit for some, you can learn a great deal about your intuitive insight and how the mind operates.  The greatest lessons come from the most challenging conditions.  Use the energies in positive ways to enhance your spiritual understanding and intuitive insight.
