TRANSITING URANUS TRINE NATAL URANUS (AGE 28 & 56)

Transiting Uranus has an 84 year cycle.  In other words, it takes Uranus approximately 84 years to circle the zodiac and move back to the original position where it was located at the time of your birth.  As a result, it is most likely that Uranus will trines its natal position twice in a life time.  Its first contact by trine is around the age 28 closely aligning with your first Saturn return, and the second trine will be at age 56, which is a couple of years prior to your second Saturn return.  Both of these positions will vary in energy from individual to individual primarily because of the location of transiting Uranus as well as the position of Natal Uranus by house position in our charts.

The first trine of Uranus to Uranus is significant because of the massive changes that will occur as a result of this trine and as a result of the Saturn return.  The Trine to Uranus initiates a desire for change and the want to break free and begin anew or start over, utilizing the information obtained through our experiences in life.  Uranus wants to shake things up and a trine usually suggests affirmative changes.  There will be a desire to break free from the influence of your parents and sometimes your peer group because this time is often referred to as the transition from young adulthood into maturity and with maturity comes responsibility.

You want to be able to do the things as your choose and to be able to express yourself more precisely more now than anytime up to this point in life.  With the Saturn return quickly at the heels of this trine to Uranus, responsibilities are sure to come your way and rather quickly.  This is a time of gaining inner strength and resilience so you are ready for whatever your Saturn’s return will bring.  This could include finding a suitable mate if you do not already have an appropriate one, finding an occupation that suits your ever changing needs, (which I promise will settle after the Saturn return) and to break free of any restrictive life influences that have been holding you back.

The second trine at the age of 56 is quite different as you will be in a totally different state of mind and will look at life from a different vantage point.  You are no longer setting the stage for what is important in life as when you were 28.  The need to settle into your life’s work and raising a family is likely behind you.  Initially, this second trine is a time for reflection and reviewing where you are now especially from the time of your Uranus opposition to its birth position at age 42.  The changes you made at that stage in your life have taken you to where you are now.  You will now evaluate your life’s experiences and your achievements and in most cases, ready yourself for retirement which often can begin in and around the second Saturn return in about 2-3 years.

You will once again re-evaluate your life’s work and make some decisions on where you would like to go in the next several years.  You may work towards early retirement and set the stage for what comes next.  Some of us make massive changes during this aspect and as long as you take the time to think things over, you will probably be ready once your Saturn return is in full activation or at the least nearing its conclusion.  What is important now differs from what you experienced in the first trine period.  Now it will be your needs that must be met and you will make whatever changes needed that can push you in your intended direction.

During this trine it is suggested that you take the time to set a course that will eventually take you to where you might see yourself in approximately seven years when Uranus makes it second square to itself at age 63.

The second Uranus trine is usually an exciting change of direction, one which is required by the soul personality itself and will take you where you need to go.  Both of these periods can be disruptive as sometimes change can be stressful and the energies of Uranus can be sudden but under most conditions, the final outcome is positive in its nature. 

Prepare yourself for change, for evolution, for an awakening of self.  This “self” is one that will not be recognizable until this period in your life has been experienced.

GETTING RID OF BLOCKS

What holds you back?  Do you have detrimental ideologies?  Do you accept inherited conditions and ideas without question? 

Many of us have openly accepted concepts passed down without question and we have taken them on as your own, without question.  Our concepts are based on ideas that we have had set before us.  Because they have been accepted in the past, we have never questioned them.

 

These ideas can certainly include what we conceive as attainable for us as individuals, physically, emotionally and mentally.   We incorrectly judge our worth based on standards we or someone before us has placed on us.  By doing so, we put limits on all that could be and I mean ALL.

Our conditions change as we set new standards through our focus and beliefs about ourselves.  We can become lost in this search or tethered to judgements that were handed to us as children.  If we release the wanting and searching, we would recognize that all we are searching for is already part of who we are.

Everything we want for ourselves is available but we hold ourselves back through our belief structures and the programming we have received in the past.  Go beyond the confines of what we consider attainable for this specific time in our lives.  We search and “want” relentlessly.  We do not recognize that it is the wanting and searching that is inhibiting our recognition of who we truly are. 

What is, is as a result of our belief structures.   If we do not want limits, we cannot place limits on anything.  We facilitate this change accordance to what we believe.  Taking control or at least understanding the control that we have in the process begins a spiral of change that is more in line with where we choose to be in our lives. 

Following instinct through love and allowance, we can push forward accepting that the moment is the real goal and what is, is determined by that moment and nothing more and nothing less.

 

Judgement, desire, fear, despair, etc. are always a result of previous conditions.  In finding the now, we let go of any thoughts pertaining to our potential future or our past experiences that hold us prisoner.  Living in the moment requires nothing further.  Recognize, experience, and enjoy this moment!  Nothing else is real.......

URANUS

Uranus, the planet of revolution and often sudden and drastic change, often causes havoc in people’s lives when in transits through the heavens.  It is the ruler of Aquarius, the water barer, and is commonly known as the awakener.  Its influence will function as a huge factor in making necessary changes to your life.  Uranus makes changes in areas of life that have outgrown their usefulness.  Uranus shows areas that require alteration and liberation from anything that could be considered traditional or restrictive in nature.  It creates a desire for the new and unique and often produces this in unexpected and in unconventional ways.

Uranus moves through each sign in approximately 7 years and takes a full 84 years to circle the zodiac.  During its movement, it creates quick results and a feeling of liberation and freedom from restriction.  It governs universal brotherhood and is humanitarian in its nature.  Uranus will force you to have an honest look at life’s issues and then enforce any necessary changes.  If you choose not to adhere to what is being proposed, this influence will often act in a much more abrupt manner and will then mostly likely be out of your control.

Uranus is rebellious in its nature and pushes us forward to independent thinking and with a flair for the unconventional and unique.  Uranus also has been known to produce shocking awakenings especially when our eyes have been closed to what is now required.  Uranus governs universal truths and intuition.  Anyone with strong Uranus tendencies has a unique way of rendering these truths (quite often in an abrupt matter-of-fact fashion).

Uranus’ action is unpredictable, imaginative and also very inspirational.  It is the higher octave of Mercury and therefore is considered a planet linked to mental processing.  It deals a lot with potential outcomes and is future oriented.  Uranus pushes us to come out into the open and express our uniqueness and creativity.  It is linked with advanced mental quickness and agility, similar to Mercury, although the thinking process may be considered bohemian in its nature.

Uranus rules electricity and anything electronic, such as computers and technology at its newest innovation.  Uranus is anything but conventional.  Depending upon where it is found in your astrology charts, it will indicate where you choose to reveal your originality and uniqueness. 

If, for example, you have Uranus closely linked to the Ascendant in the first house, your originality will shine through.  Many would consider you (with this example) as a bit of an eccentric and you would not be ashamed of this flair which makes you stand apart from the crowd.

FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN JULY 9, 2017

We will be experiencing a Full Moon in Capricorn on July 9, 2017 at 12:06 a.m. (EST) at 18 degrees.  Depending on where you live, you may experience this Buck or Thunder Moon on July 8. 

Individuals with a planet or angle within 5 degrees of this 18 degree position will be affected by this Full Moon.  A Full Moon can have its greatest influence on the seeds that were planets 6 months ago when we experienced a New Moon in the same sign (Capricorn).

New Moons have the potential to set into motion or germinate seeds associated with the sign it is in.  During the New Moon phase in Capricorn, you may have planted seeds related to business and your profession.  Capricorn’s energies enhance diligence with anything that is set in motion.  Capricorn understands that patience will be part of a successful process.  In order to create something worthwhile, it takes time and effort and much of what is unfolding at this time, during the Full Moon, will be reflective of the energies you have been putting forth since last December’s new moon.  Capricorn understands that hard work it part of the process and is willing to do what must be done to achieve its objectives.

Much will depend on the house that will be affected by this Full Moon.  In order to obtain the house location, locate the position of 18 degrees Capricorn in your birth (natal) chart.  This will be the house that will be highlighted.  If the fourth house is highlighted, for example, then the area of home and family will be the focus.   If the location is your ninth house, the full moon’s energies could affect litigation, publishing, travel or education.

If by chance you find that you are ill prepared, it might be a good time to begin anew or revisit the conditions (in the area of life that is affected).  Make appropriate alterations to the process you have already begun.  If you have prepared well for this Full Moon’s energies and are ready, it is time to move forward with your objectives. 

If there seems to be many opposing factors to this positioning in your chart (challenging aspects) you would still be advised to move ahead although you may find that there are hurtles to overcome and there will be challenges along the way. 

If you have several easy aspects linked to this location, you will find that the energies are flowing without much restriction and your goals will be easily brought into fruition.  

Much also will depend on the attitude you take during this period and where your place your focus.  Attitude, belief structure and expectations have a huge impact in our goals.  Insure that you are using all that is at your disposal, with focus in mind.  It is very hard to achieve in life if you have a defeatist’s attitude and this applies to that which you are trying to implement.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

“Hopeful” sees the glass half full; “Doubtful” sees the glass half empty.  Our perspective not only enhances our world, it creates our focus on a constant basis.

What is our part on a global scale?  I suppose this world, begin at home.  How do we treat those around us? 

Can we not then do our part in projecting what we wish for ourselves by being what we wish for…..from the inside out? 

We lead by example, not by mere words.  Action is what unlocks doors.  Action is what motivates others.

SUN IN CANCER 2017 FORECAST, PART II

TRANSITING URANUS SQUARE NATAL SUN

For the remainder of 2017 and as far forward as May, 2018, transiting Uranus will reside in the sign of Aries.  Uranus goes into retrograde motion in November, 2018 moving back into Aries, until it finally returns into the sign of Taurus in March, 2019.  Uranus also goes retrograde on August 3, 2017 and will move as far back as 24 degrees Aries and then start its direct motion once again. 

It is said that Uranus’ energies while in direct motion push us towards a new found freedom from any restrictions to our personal growth and independence.  Some Astrologers have noted that while in the retrograde motion Uranus’ energies are more directed towards defending the course of other individuals, although certainly not always.  During its retrograde cycle, Uranus’ energies become more potent, although often from an internal perspective.

Uranus does stimulate psychological exploration and as Uranus is linked to freedom many of us will re-evaluate conditions of the past during its retrograde cycle.  This evaluation might define what we believe will be the right moves to make.  It is often about liberation on some level and breaking free and beginning anew more often than not on a different path.  Uranus’s action is often unexpected and sudden.  The action may come out of nowhere but the intellect has been stimulated and much may have been going on before we actually take that jump or leap of faith.

Uranus is also impulsive and when connected to the Sun, it may take charge of action with regards to life’s objectives and goals that may have laid dormant for some time.  Those of us affected by this energy may unexpectedly jump into a situation and make changes that will make us question our decision after the fact.  Many times these sudden unexpected moves happen because of outside conditions in our lives, and we may feel as though we need to make some drastic changes in order to clear the air or find a new path that is more suitable for our evolutionary quest.

Sometimes changes seem to happen without our awareness that they are somehow necessary to our inner growth.  Things may have been moving along smoothly for many years and all of a sudden the carpet seems to be pulled out from under our feet.  Believe it or not the changes taking place will work out over the long haul and will actually benefit our overall life conditions.  Sometimes we will not move out of comfortable conditions in life when we need to so outside forces must to push us in that direction.  This is not to say that we should jump because something seems to be pushing us.  It is always suggested that we take the time necessary to think things out before doing anything rash.  However, with the Uranus’ energies activated in our chart, sometimes life just seems to happen.  Do not worry.  Under most conditions if we are living our lives as we should, this energy will not be too disruptive.   We may only have to make minor adjustments along the way. 

Uranus’ energies, however, do need to be released and they are sometimes abrasive and unpredictable.  If by chance you feel as though you are being swept along life’s current, do not resist its energies too much and go with the flow of life.  It will eventually take you to where you need to go.  Fighting only delays the inevitable as eventually you will end up downstream (and this is exactly where you are suppose to be).
