Transiting Neptune square Mercury

Neptune often has a spiritual link while transiting through the chart.  It can also be quite illusive and can create illusionary thoughts and perceptions when in line with Mercury, particularly while in square.  Again, as mentioned, however, it often has some type of link to spirituality and this is particularly so if it is in the sign of Pisces. 

If you are currently experiencing the transit we are focusing on today in your personal Astrology chart be sure to have a look at the overall condition of the other transits and progressions before coming to a conclusion on this aspect.  Remember to check the house position of transiting Neptune, the house position of natal Mercury and also the house position of natal Neptune and the aspects to it.  This will provide you with a full interpretation of what might unfold while Neptune is activated.

The energies of a square between Neptune and Mercury often points towards a misunderstanding of information or an inability to communicate clearly.  Your verbal expression and communicative skills will not be clear and others may have a difficult time understanding what it is you are trying to convey.  If your conversation is about intuitive and psychic experiences, however, or if you are looking for information in these areas, you will be able to find quality information.  Your inner, intuitive self might understand the material better than your conscious self at this time.  Even if the conscious self does not understand what is being presented, the information will be retained and perhaps when needed, will resurface and provide you with some needed insight or guidance.

It is best to hold off on decisions of significant matters while experiencing the influence of this aspect, such as signing documents, purchasing property or being involved with anything legal, if at all possible.  Neptune is more concerned with spiritual matters and the mundane world around you may not hold your interest or this lack of interest can cause issues later.  Under this influence, your mind may shift or you may lose track or spend time worrying about making the right decisions.  

It is advisable to reach out for help from someone you trust before signing any documents if you are obligated to do so and even under these conditions, there is still the chance that there can be mistakes made.  Often times, we tend to worry too much about issues that in reality are not even significant.  There is the potential of being deceived by others.  As a result, be careful with whom you express yourself to and whom you place your trust in. 

The mind tends to be unclear and may wonder, worry and experience fear with issues that have simply been blown out of proportion.  You would do well to wait for the fog to clear.  Clear sight and understanding will afford you to handle things with an insight into what is actually taking place. 

Under harsh conditions especially if Uranus or Pluto are somehow part of the equation, you may need outside assistance as transformations and changes of an unusual sort might be part of the process and this will make things even more unclear.  

Professional help is suggested particularly if the twelfth house is involved or even the eighth house, although the eighth may be linked closer to the occult teaching and also joint finances or matters connected with legacies or inheritance.  

Be sure to have the full picture and do not allow yourself to be deceived by what appears to be truth.  Sometimes truth can be camouflaged or hidden in some way.

JUPITER IN LIBRA OR THE SEVENTH HOUSE

Today we are focusing on any individuals who have their Jupiter in Libra in their birth chart or Jupiter in the seventh house. 

If either of these applies to you, you will search out partnerships based on equality, fairness and honesty.  You may be attracted to people who are open minded, love to travel and enjoy the outdoors.  You would love an honest debate and are open to other people’s opinions. 

You would often bend over backwards to help others.  You may find that you actually sway a little too much towards pleasing others and have a hard time taking sides when you get into heated discussions.  This is due to the fact that you want to be everything to everyone and hate confrontation and discord.

There is great opportunity with Jupiter in the sign of Libra, as Jupiter will add good fortune and good luck to life’s events, particularly when it comes to your associates, your lovers and those you wish to get close to.  Justice and a great sense of morality are strong character traits aligned with Jupiter in Libra.  You may also be able to sway others to take the moral ground and like to make amends after an argument.

Marriage and close personal relationships are extremely important to you and your objective is to treat everyone fairly and offer friendly advice to those in need.

It is important to see what aspects transiting Jupiter may be making to other planets in your chart to get a clear more full picture.  If, for example, natal Jupiter is in the ninth house and sextile to transiting Jupiter, the opportunity for a favourable outcome is increased.  But if Saturn is somehow involved in this configuration (particularly if it is by a challenging aspect) make sure that you are doing the required ground work before you move forward.  Ensure that you have all legal obligations in place.  Saturn will challenge the outcome and make things difficult.  It is not unusual for Saturn, if involved, to cause delays in the final outcome but the outcome could be most fulfilling.

TRANSITING URANUS TRINE THE MOON

Transiting Uranus trine the Moon signifies a great time to make changes to your emotional outlook.  If you have been caught up in emotional trauma, this transit is all about changes and your ability to break free of tight holds from the past.  Since the Moon deals primarily with your emotions, this is a great place to start. 

As you begin viewing your emotional life from a new perspective, you will notice that the environment around you also starts to adjust.

Your emotional makeup plays a significant role in many aspects of life and when in relationship with the Moon, it might not only encompass emotions but also physical changes within the home environment.  You start to feel good about yourself and this “sense” starts to expand into the home and personal surroundings.  Your outer world is quite often a reflection of your emotional, inner self. 

During this aspect, you may redecorate or make furniture changes that suit your innermost feelings.  Often you may find that you reminisce about the past, and you may enhance your memories by buying adornments or putting up pictures that bring these times to the visual and mental surface.

Since Uranus is often used for timing in Astrology, take note when it is direct or when it moves into retrograde and then direct again in aspect, for these times will be when events unfold in your life.  They are usually linked to a need for space, and often the start of something new in your life.  Uranus wants to break free and find something that is more appropriate for the current time and space.  Uranus often acts as an awakener leading to dramatic changes. 

Locate which house transiting Uranus is located in, Uranus’ natal position, and the Moon’s natal position to see which areas of life will be affected by the aspect we are focused on today.  You should also check to see if this transit stirs up other configurations in your birth chart.  Any links to the Moon will now be affected as well and the natal promise (found in the birth chart) begins to unfold.

One thing is for certain, change can be counted on when Uranus is involved.  As mentioned earlier, this could relate to your emotional makeup, the emotional settings in your life, the home front and also emotional security.   The impact of Uranus can be felt as much as 5 degrees approaching and 2 degrees separating.  Trines are usually positive in their nature although Uranus is unpredictable so anything can happen.  If challenging conditions are apparent, the trine will speed up the process. 

Be open to the “new” and know that change comes when we are ready for it.

TRUST YOUR INTUITION

There are many ways to determine whether or not your gut instinct is telling you facts or fiction.  The best route, and most reliable for that matter, is to align with your intuition.  We all have natural intuitional ability, and this can be quite reliable if we learn to listen to it clearly with faith and clarity.  Our mind’s interpretation is what can muddle the message.  Intuition is a wonderful tool to use when we are confused and need to make a reliable decision.  Sometimes we can be troubled and stressed making some decision.  This is when our intuitive guidance can provide us with the right answers and assist us in formulating the perfect plan.

Your intuition is always available to guide you; although it is good to question and analyse as this builds our confidence in this tool.  People have used their intuition over their mental abilities resulting in choices that have had profound effects on life’s direction.  We instinctively know what is right and move in that direction without hesitation once we allow intuition to lead us on a particular path.

Sometimes we can get so caught up in a situation and we cannot, for the life of us, make a decision based on mental processing.  We are worried that our decision may be wrong.  It is amazing how we, as humans, become complacent and find ways to adapt to life situations even when everything tells us to make a change or move in a different direction.  Change is uncomfortable and fear often stands in our way.  We naturally fear the unknown and prefer hardship because it is known and understood even though it is uncomfortable. 

It is important to find ways to learn to trust the voice within and allow this inner knowing to guide us through life’s journey.  Have faith in the process; however we are not suggesting that you jump into something with some form of contemplation and due diligence.  We have a thinking mind for a reason.

Sometimes the path ahead looks murky and we are afraid of where it will lead us, but part of us knows that moving forward is the right thing to do.

Sometime when we do make that final commitment, the change itself can be wearisome and challenging but over time, life settles and you will see the rewards of your actions. 

Sometimes it is important to put ourselves first and to take that leap of faith.  If you have spent a lot of time trying to find a solution to a problem and there just does not seem to be a solution, let life take the lead and follow your intuition and allow.

THE KITE FORMATION

The Kite formation is considered a major aspect configuration in an Astrology chart.  It includes a Grand Trine and an opposition from one of the points of the grand trine.  At the same time, the opposition, which is not part of the Grand Trine, also makes aspects to two parts of the Grand Trine.  This looks like a kite; hence the name. 

For example, let’s say that you have a Grand Trine between Mercury in Cancer, Venus in Scorpio and the Sun is in Pisces all within a ten degree orb forming a Grand Water Trine.  Mercury is in opposition to Saturn which is in Capricorn and Saturn forms a sextile to both Venus and the Sun. 

The focal planet becomes Saturn as it brings tension into the equation with its opposition to the Sun.  This can generate activity and a push which might not otherwise be present due to the high degree of contentment found in the Grand Trine.  This opposition challenges the Grand trine, in particular the Sun which Saturn opposes; however, at the same time, Saturn is also in sextile to Mercury and Venus which softens Saturn’s influence and adds opportunity to rectify a situation presented by the opposition.

Often times the Grand Trine is so easy that people refuse to push themselves to develop the talents indicated by the houses and element involved in the Grand Trine.  The opposition will create challenges and opposing factors which can motivate the individual into action.  The sextiles imply opportunities to help resolve the problem at hand and provide the push to an otherwise comfortable situation. 

This is considered a very favourable configuration, better than the Grand Trine which does provide opportunities and favourable outcomes, but it can lack the driving force to push ahead and develop talents accentuated by the planets and element. 

The main notable problem stems from the fact that there are actually three different aspects involved in the configuration (Trine, Sextile and Opposition).  This can lead to people committing themselves to resolving this problem and allowing other challenges found within the natal chart to slide by the wayside.  Too much concentration on any one area of the chart could be considered compulsive and even generate an obsessed focus.  It is always suggested that we work on one problem at a time and find a resolution before beginning with something else, but the individual with a Kite formation strongly emphasized in the chart may spend all their time fixated on this one problem. 

It general, however, this is considered a very good aspect configuration and provides the trigger to push through any adverse conditions presented by the opposition.
