We continue our look at Ceres which began
on March 13, 2019, and touched on the signs and Ceres on March 18, 2019. Today we will focus on the houses.
The houses in Astrology have to do with
areas of life. Any planet or body in a
house will use its energies and allocate it to that particular area of
life. For example, Mars has to do with
energy and wherever you find Mars in the natal chart will be where you expend a
lot of energy. Mars in the tenth house
would suggest that this individual would invest a lot of energy and drive
towards reaching their objectives. This
may include making a name for themselves through their occupation or striving
towards becoming known for what they have done with themselves in this life.
Ceres on the other hand has to do with
nurturing and motherhood and the urge to protect. It also has to do with the ways we provide for
ourselves and for those we care for through acts of giving and how we work
towards providing for our families.
For example, Ceres in the second house
would suggest that this individual’s nurturing abilities would come through being
reliable and providing stability to our family through money or emotional
stability. The second house has to do
with our financial situation, material belongings, and the stability these
things provide. On a deeper level it has
to do with stability in life. This, as
mentioned, can be measured in financial terms or through the ability to provide
a guiding force to help others.
These matters will also relate to our own
personal needs connected to what was discussed.
When Ceres is found in the third house,
emotional interaction and physical attentiveness may be created through communicational
abilities. When this individual needs
support rather than providing a shoulder for someone to lean on and offering
emotional support, they may support through communication tools. This individual may be more of a talker with
a little less emotional response being attached. They would possibly offer a rational
interchange as support. They could offer
their support in day to day activities and provide informative resolutions or
ideas to help propel others forward.
Ceres in the eighth house, for example, may
suggest that this individual offers their support or nurturing through deep
internal examination which in turn would make others delve deep within
themselves to uncover not only the resolution to problems but also the reason
for these problems. They may offer up
assistance that may not be easy to handle and in some cases for those more emotionally
sensitive, the eighth house approach could instigate arguments or uneasiness as
these individuals cause deep truths to be brought to the surface.
Sometimes the truth can be challenging and
ego disputes may be commonplace when trying to assist others when coming from
the energies of the eighth house. Being a
little more gentle might be helpful, although emotionally these people would “feel”
what is taking place in other people’s lives.
Those with the eighth house Ceres can be insightful and some even
possess abilities beyond what some consider normal. The ability to dig deep to uncover earlier
wounds with others and with themselves can provide solutions to issues that may
have been part of the picture for a very long time.
Use the energies of each of the houses to
understand how Ceres’ energies would be released.
