TRANSITING NEPTUNE SEXTILE NATAL VENUS

This post can be applied to a natal chart, a solar chart as well as a progressed chart.  We will, however, primarily speak of this transit from Neptune to natal Venus.

Neptune is often reactive in our charts and adds elusiveness, mystery and inspiration to everything it touches.

Neptune’s interaction with planets and angles in our chart is quite dependent on what type of aspect is forming.  The challenging aspects (square, opposition and sometimes conjunction) can have a sense of evasiveness and illusion and a general feeling of vagueness and cloudiness in the area of life involved (house positions). 

The more easy flow and favorable aspects (trine, sextile and sometimes conjunction) can be quite different.  The trine and sextile are considered advantageous and often speak of easy flow and favourable outcomes, particularly the trine.  The sextile often speaks of an opportunity being offered which we can either take advantage of or sit back and do nothing with the energies.  Both aspects often need a motivating factor (found in the birth chart) which pushes us ahead and hopefully we will take advantage of the situation.  Some sextiles suggest that things fall in our lap, while others suggest that we need to apply ourselves to use these energies for our benefit.

Venus often speaks of love and affection but can also be related to the finances as well as social activities.  Much will depend on where Venus is located in the birth chart and how it is being aspected by other planets either by transit or natally. 

A well aspected Venus in the fifth house, for example, tied in with a sextile from Neptune can point towards a romantic liaison and a feeling of falling in love with an idealized lover.  In many cases an aspect between Neptune and Venus brings up a red flag of uncertainty, but the sextile as mentioned is quite favourable and often suggests an opportunity that should be taken advantage of. 

There may be a spiritual connection or psychic indicators connected to this sextile of Venus and Neptune with a feeling of illumination and spiritual insight attached to the union.  This can work out to be a deep-seated love affair leading to a very strong connection. 

Continuing along with the fifth house example, the children are also part of what the fifth house speaks of and this love connection may be part of their experience.  Sometimes Venus speaks of a young feminine individual and this could be a child or young woman who comes into the picture.  In either case, romantic involvement is highlighted and can also be quite magical. 

If this were not a favourable aspect, caution is advised with this connection as you may not be seeing thing (the person, relations, etc) clearly.

If this aspect is speaking of finances, because Venus is involved, check the second house matters to get more insight, although the fifth house does speak of speculation and gambling.  This is not to say that gambling or speculation is advisable or not, but any type of gamble has its potential positive and negative influences.  I would suggest that if you are taking this route, weigh out everything before plunging in.

Interaction with people of a spiritual nature might also be part of this connection.  Becoming involved with groups associated with spirituality and the mystical side of life especially if the eleventh house is involved might also become dreamlike.

The possibilities are endless.

LOVE'S RADIATING LIGHT

Seek not from the outside what can only found within. 

Open the door to love’s perception through visualization and awareness.  It is ever present within...always available and waiting to be experienced and shared. 

Love radiates on a purely instinctual level.  It does not grow from the intellect although the intellect needs to understand that it is present.  Love is a living breathing energy that radiates outward once it has been acknowledged within.  Its nature is to always seek expansion.  We naturally radiate love unless we have trained ourselves otherwise.

It is available to and for everyone.  It can be experienced at any level of understanding.  Even the most intrusive individuals can share love and although many may feel as though they have misplaced love, it is always available and accessible if we allow.  Our personal pursuits, our quests, are tied to love in some way and although it seems as though it is blemished at times, true love is always pure and forgiving.  It is the mind that insists on placing restrictions and conditions on love.

To experience love, we must look within.  If our world appears to lack in love, we are not accepting its existence within.  If we open ourselves to self-love and believe that we are worthy no matter what ego may argue, we will know and experience the beauty of love.  No one is denied its experience without their personal consent. 

Love’s availability does not vary.  It is the same for an infant as it is for the elderly regardless of how we have lived our lives.

Find that loving light within that shines forever brighter.  It is calling you.  It is always willing to reveal and share itself naturally.  It is your inner light, your core.  Love radiates to the furthest reaches of life’s experience, if we allow.

GEMINI FORECAST 2019

(Aspects to Saturn and Pluto)

In our post on May 20, 2019, for Sun in Gemini, we discussed Jupiter in Sagittarius in opposition to the Sun in Gemini. 

Today, we will do a mini-forecast including the quincunx from Saturn and Pluto which are both in the sign of Capricorn.  This conjunction of Saturn and Pluto will be affecting everyone who has a natal planet close to the positioning of these transiting planets.  For those with their Sun in Gemini around the 20 degree mark, this quincunx will be especially emphasised.  Remember to have a look at which house these two planets are found within in the natal chart and also which house your Sun is located in.  These are areas of life that will be affected by these current quincunxes.

A quincunx or inconjunct is an aspect of 150 degrees and implies that an adjustment is necessary.  Saturn and Pluto together can have profound effects.  These energies suggest that there is a powerful need for regeneration and transformation while at the same time there is a battle taking place to keep things in order as well as keeping them much the same. 

These energies in many ways are opposing forces as Pluto will initiate change while Saturn wishes to keep whatever is already in place.  Remember, changes that take place when Pluto is in force will be required changes.  These energies point us in a direction that over time we will recognize as essential.

Since the Sun has strong ties to our goals and aspirations, we may be required to make adjustments or alterations to the plans that we might already have put in place.  It may be a fine tuning that is needed or alternatively, we may have to let go of what has been started and begin anew. 

The Sun also speaks of our inner core and this upcoming period may be a time when we go beneath the surface and dig deep to uncover anything that needs to surface and be re-examined (remember we are speaking specifically to those that have this aspect in their chart).  It may be time to make some changes so that in the future we have a solid structure in place that will be of a permanent nature.  Nothing can be done in half measures with these planets, and we should pay close attention to what is being presented to us.

The energies between Pluto and Saturn can also be destructive and quite powerful.  There can be aggressive intervention on some level that comes to the forefront and will be influencing others.  This is especially true if there are other planets in the birth chart that make major aspects to this combination.  Squares and Oppositions are especially powerful, although not usually as powerful as the conjunction; much will depend on what planets are being activated by this conjunction of Saturn and Pluto.

Pluto not only indicates transformation and change, it should also be noted that creative change is part of the profile of Pluto and Saturn, although the process may be somewhat difficult and perhaps even intrusive. 

Many Astrologers will look at this upcoming transit with some concern; however it is always best to have a positive outlook and to recognize that a positive outcome over time is highly likely.  Pay attention to this transit but do not allow yourself to go to extremes with it.  Recognize it as a need for change and transformation in your life expressed through the houses they will be residing in.  Do not take anything for granted.  It is better in this case to move ahead with what you believe these energies are about than to try to ignore what is unfolding in your life. 

These planets will be in tight conjunction in January of 2020 when they will be at 22-23 degrees Capricorn.

NEW MOON GEMINI JUNE 3, 2019

We are experiencing a New Moon in the sign of Gemini on Monday, June 3, 2019, at 6:02 am EDT.  This New Moon has its placement at 12 degrees in Gemini.  Those individuals with natal planets particularly tied to this placement by conjunction or opposition will find that the areas of life affected (determined by the houses position) will become active with this influence. 

New Moons are suggestive of the energies conducive to new beginning or fresh starts.  With this specific New Moon, it is a time to push ahead with intellectual projects such as continued schooling and educational pursuits due to the Gemini influence.  There is an intellectual curiosity linked to this New Moon’s position and advancement or a push in this area can produce viable and constructive outcomes.  The key is to stay with the plan and not allow yourself to sway in your focus even if you become bored with the slow although likely steady developments.

There are no major aspects in transit affecting this position of the New Moon and the only minor aspect is a semi-sextile from transiting Mars.  Semi-sextiles suggest being in the right place at the right time and Mars is all about drive and ambition.  Mars is in Cancer at 12 degrees and the nurturing connection to Cancer can be quite evident with this combination.  The mind is agile, adaptable and changeable.  When linked with Mars in the sign of Cancer, the need to take care of those we love is high.  We might apply this energy through mental stimulation and an applied effort to raise the emotional state of someone close to us.  There is an intellectual connection with how we might go about accomplishing this.  We can apply energy and drive to this focus, and with consistency, help the individual in question rise above any issues that they may be experiencing.

This may be tied to a family member perhaps a masculine child or parent and may also include housing or home-care and a protective urge with an “instinctive” action on your part.  This may be a time when you search for alternative housing for a family member in need and an analytical nature should be applied.  Look for a place that offers support from a mental perspective as well as any physical needs.  This is especially true if the fourth house is involved and may also be tied in with your children if for example the fifth house is involved.

Signing agreements or making plans for educational pursuits, as mentioned, may also be part of the process and if the natal positioning of planets are tied to this New Moon favourably then this might be a good time to make plans for furthering your education especially if the ninth house is part of the picture. 

Early education tied to your children may also be part of the picture if the third house is involved. 

As you can see, the house position is very important.

As in the case of all New Moons, this is a time to push ahead with plans and formulate action, especially so with Mars tied into the equation. 

Again, being in the right place at the right time may be part of this energy.

MOTION AHEAD

Is it time to regain your momentum? 

Is it time to abandon thoughts that no longer serve a real and positive purpose? 

Are you lost within philosophies that amplify and focus on discord?  Do these not only serves to stifles your growth and leaves you with a heavy heart? 

Each one of us has the ability to step out of these conditions and to experience happiness and peace.  We deserve every ounce of happiness that we allow ourselves to experience.  Why limit this experience? 

By releasing any form of belief structure that holds us back, we can then allow happiness.  Happiness is an inside job.

It is time to recognize that we ARE the architects of our own destiny. 

We can let go of anything that holds us back.  We can let go of any thought that cultivates sadness and shame.  We can let go of any thought that suggests that we will not succeed or are not entitled to succeed. 

We truly hold the key to our destiny.  If we are not on the path that we would like to see ourselves on, we can change our focus and change our journey.  

We can accept the possibility that we deserve happiness.  Happiness is meant to be a part of our journey.  It is not the destination.

We are perfect in every aspect, for perfection is found within each and every one of us.  We are only held back by our perceptions and beliefs.  It is within our power to move in any direction, to take life and to mould it into whatever we want.  Simply believe...with all of our hearts and our minds.  Live as thought our desires are already in place.

We can start small to build our confidence.  Begin with something that we believe “might” be attainable, and then we can set our sights on it and make it happen. 

Next we can change our attitude from “might” to “undoubtedly”.  Over time and by applying this focus and these values, we will observe a shift and understand that we actually are in control of manifesting within our life. 

We will experience turning points and we will also have to push beyond past doubts.  By making the decision that we will only focus on positive affirmations and positive results, we will create positive outcomes.  This does not mean that life will not present challenges, but if our focus is on the positive, we will see these challenges as building blocks not stumbling blocks. 

We are at the creation of our experience through our focus, every step of the way.  Our focus IS IN OUR CONTROL.  We can set our focus and evaluate our progress, not from where we have been, but from the wonderful potential that lies ahead.

THE PROGRESSED MOON AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE

The progressed Moon moves just over one degree per month and moves through a sign in approximately 2 ½ years.   The progressed Moon moves through the entire Zodiac at approximately the same rate as Saturn and makes its return in approximately 29 years give or take a year either end to its natal position.  The progressed moon return therefore has a profound impact on the Saturn return period. 

The progressed Moon makes aspects throughout the whole chart while in the same house for its 2 ½ year stay and will affect each and every planet and angle for a three month period when it makes contact.  Again, its influence is powerful and quite influential. 

The progressed Moon travelling through the Zodiac will be influential when it is within a degree of being direct with any planet or angle in the chart.  The conjunction, square and opposition are the most marked for change and restlessness, and these can often be relied on to create activity in an individual’s life.  The conjunction is especially powerful as it intensifies the planetary energies as well as the house placement.  The house placement will be the area of life that will be affected and the planet or point in the chart being activated will be experienced through the energies connected with that particular planetary energy.

It is seldom that, when the progressed Moon ties in with the Midheaven, the career is not affected as well as the home and family.  When it ties in with the Ascendant, activity often takes place on a very personal level and many individuals with this influence in their progressed chart will also be addressing relationship influences. 

With the Sun involved in contact to the progressed Moon, it is often the perfect time to take advantage of opportunities to move ahead in your life’s pursuits especially when the progressed Moon is in positive aspect to the Sun. 

The progressed Moon is often used as a timer for events of significance and nearly always suggests that the particular house position’s area of life will be affected.  Often fluctuations occur and if, for example, the progressed Moon makes an aspect to Venus in the second house, it is quite possible that your finances will be affected.  With Pluto, for example, in the second house making an aspect with the progressed Moon not only are the finances subject to fluctuation but this individual may experience dynamic changes.  These changes that take place are often permanent or have a lasting effect.  Security issues would also be part of the process with the progressed Moon making aspects to planets in the second house.

The progressed Moon is an emotional indicator and if the planet or angle being affected has several stressful aspects to it in the birth chart, more tumultuous and sensitive conditions can be expected than if the planet in question were well aspected. 

The birth chart is a blueprint of your life.  It will be an indicator of lifelong challenging conditions or positive influences that will be rectified over time.  Some indicators can remain a challenge for many years or work in a positive manner for the individual in question each time they become activated through transit or progression. 

Our natal char is our signature and any planet or angle’s energies, regardless of how challenging the condition in the birth chart, can be rectified or challenged and turned around over time.  We are not saddled with difficulties on a permanent basis.  The challenging aspects in the natal chart are put in place for us to overcome and to learn and gain strength from.

The progressed Moon does not have the same impact that the natal Moon has unless other major transits or progressions are in effect at the same time.  The angular house cusps also play an important role when aspected by the progressed Moon, as angular house cusps are indicative of action areas in the chart.  These angular house cusps apply to natal placement as well as progressed placements. 

Changing conditions are often very apparent when the progressed Moon activates an angular house cusp.  The angular house cusps are the Ascendant or AC or ASC, the Midheaven or MC, the fourth house cusp or IC, and the seventh house cusp or DC.

LET LIFE LEAD

It is important to put our energies into constructive outlets and to build a solid foundation in life.  There are times when life directs us to push forward and there are times when life directs us to stay put and contemplate new ideas. 

If we follow these leads, we find that we are less prone to struggles.  We are being led by a higher force that is familiar with our needs and knows what is best for every situation at hand.

Sometimes the directions are very straight forward and then again sometimes the directions are more subtle in their expression.  If we are tuned into the energies and we allow awareness to bloom, we will not misconstrue these subtle nudges.  Much depends on how open we are to the information being received. 

We do, however, always have a choice, as the learning process is always in our hands.  We might do well to listen to the advice when it comes our way, however.  The lessons are learned much more easily when we adhere to the energies.  Most times it is best to allow life to lead but there still will be choices to be made even with this allowance.

When life seems to dictate, there is undoubtedly a valid reason.  Perhaps if left to our own decisions, we may have taken a more challenging route or perhaps we may have made a choice that would hinder our intended progress.  We are rarely at the mercy of life, but when we feel as though we are, perhaps it is best to take a back seat and see where life takes us.

It is important to value all options before deciding on any course of action.  Pay heed and resist resistance when a route seems inevitable. 

To fight our lessons serves only one purpose and that is to make the lesson a hard one. 

Our intuition, when allowed to develop, seldom will lead us astray.  Life will take us where we need to go to learn the lessons required.  The path of lease restriction allows life and its energies to flow.

Be positive and visualize dreams.  This will lay the foundation to assist in laying out a clear vision of the route required.  Today is in our hands and today is all we required.  If we open to the energies that guide, we will not have to question the route we are taking.
