FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS

Our next Full Moon phase will be on August 15, 2019 at 8:31 a.m. EDT.  This Full Moon will be located at 22 degrees in the sign of Aquarius.  Aquarius’ energies are highly connected to humanitarian concerns.  Aquarius wishes nothing more than to persuade others to find their way out of complacency and begin anew.  Anything old and outdated can now be released so that the way is cleared for what comes next.  We cannot reach for the next rung on the ladder of life if we do not let go of the one we are holding onto.

The Full Moon, as mentioned many times in the past, is the time to harvest the fruits of our labour set in motion on the New Moon phase some six months ago.  With an Aquarius influence, this is a time to purge and rid ourselves of unwanted materials.  If what we began some six months ago now no longer suits our evolutionary quest, we can move ahead or make some changes in order to forge ahead or we can cut our losses.  This is the end result, our harvest time and what we have nurtured and cared for we now bear fruit.  We only reap what we have nurtured.

Aquarius at 22 degrees is in the third decant.  This may suggest energies focused on relationships, and although the Moon always wants to nurture and take care of things, our emotions may not be in line with our intensions.  Sometimes it is difficult to release pent up emotion or to express ourselves as we want to under this lunar placement.  It is not that we are cold or unresponsive; we just might have a difficult time showing our true feelings.  As mentioned, this decant, influenced by the energies of Libra, often has to do with relationships and transiting Venus forms a tight opposition to this placement.  This can indicate some challenging times related to love and affection or women (the feminine) in general. 

Oppositions usually suggest that the emphasis or energy comes from outside.  Other individuals may cause this issue, if there is one.  Much will depend on the other energies at play currently with our natal planetary positions and important points in our personal Astrology chart.  Several squares to this positions or oppositions could indicate some challenges, while trines and sextiles often suggest easy flow and opportunities coming into play.  As always, the whole chart must be reviewed carefully to get the full picture of what is taking place at any given time.

With this moon placement, Aquarius is often associated with a cause and this might be the time when we join a group of like-minded individuals who seek to share our insights and help facilitate growth in new directions. 

There are always positive energies regardless of the planetary aspects in play.  We just need to use the energies in a favourable manner to produce the best results.

RAYS OF LIGHT

Although life can certainly have its challenging moments, always be aware of the bright areas within those occasional dark rooms.  There is always a ray of light shining throughout every aspect of our lives. 

We cannot expand or grow unless we choose to expand or grow.  This works for all things.....those things that we consider or see as positive will expand positively and those things that we consider or see as negative or stressful will generate negativity and stress for us.  With a true understanding of this principle, why would we focus our minds on limitations and hurdles? Would it not be more beneficial to focus on all that feels positive and good in our lives?  Allow what we see as positive and good in our lives expand and grow.

Focusing in any direction amplifies what we are focusing on regardless of the focal point we choose.  Our concentration will bring whatever is focused on to “life”.  In the beginning, the activation takes place on a mental level and we begin the process of realization and understanding.  As we continue placing our attention in this same direction, internal alignment takes place and we begin the moulding with the focus of our intentions.

The process is gradual and unless we are paying heed, we will not notice the effects of this concentration for some time. 

Life’s unfolding moment is taken for granted by most people, and we will not realize that our thoughts and belief structures are actually slowly manifesting in our lives. 

This works on a conscious level, as well as on a subconscious level.  As a result, there will be times in life when we are faced with adversity which always fosters growth.  Do not get caught up on these challenging moments as these too will pass.  They are simply in place to stimulate growth and understanding.  Learn the lessons as they are presented and then simply move on. 

There is no need to take up residence in any lesson.  They are meant to be learned permanently but not experienced permanently.  When we become stuck in the focus, we start to create negativity around events that are meant to be beneficial to us on the whole. 

We can always find a ray of light no matter what the circumstances may be if we simply choose to look for it.   Seeking out the ray of light allow us to draw our attention to it.  Understand that there is a lesson at hand but do not become obsessed with it.  The answers we seek so very often reveal themselves when we stop looking.

There is always a ray of light waiting to light the way.....always.....no exceptions.  Seek them out and allow their influence to shine during the times that we term “tough”.  Always have an open mind when approaching each and every life event.  Recognize these events for what they truly are--lessons. 

Behold each and every moment in life, utilize it for your betterment and live life to its fullest. 

Accept responsibility and know that all events in life (challenging, exciting, quiet, loud, grand or minute) are for our greater good. 

Never give up.  Never give in. 

We CAN realize our control.  Never lay blame!  

Life, and how we look or respond to it, is in our hands.

TRANSITING VENUS CONJUNCT NATAL SUN

Venus, in transit, takes over one year to complete its cycle around the Sun.  It takes approximately 18 months from one retrograde period to the next and its retrograde cycle is approximately 40 days in length.

Many have Venus conjunct the Sun in their birth chart as it is never more than 48 degrees away from the Sun.

Venus is a feminine planetary influence and is linked to the sense of touch, material things and love.  It has to do with kindness and politeness and adds a flair for wanting to be around beautiful things.

When Venus is direct in its motion, its energies want to manifest harmony, peace, beauty and love.  When it is retrograde, its energies are the reverse, often taking on energies similar to that of Mars.  With this retrograde influence, we can becomes more aggressive and the drive may still be towards gaining material abundance although when it is attached to business activities, its influence is often to slow things down or even move into reverse for a while.  Check you chart to see if Venus is in retrograde or direct motion.  This will define how the energies will be released when activated.

Venus when in conjunction to the Sun will only have a lasting influence of about 10 days unless it moves into retrograde.  If this is the case, it can last much longer.  Much will depend on the energies of other planetary influences during the same period when Venus is aspecting your Sun. 

This Astrologer only uses the transits of outer planets to natal Venus as the energies are often far too short lived to make any significant changes to one’s life (when using the energies of the inner planets).  However, Venus’ cycle will still have an impact on what takes place in your life but its influence will be quite short lived.

You will find that the feelings of affection are increased and your sensitivities are also enhanced during this aspect.  You may want more social time with others and you will express yourself in a comfortable manner.  Venus and the Sun usually go together very well and unless there are other mitigating factors making challenging angles to this conjunction, it generally is quite favourable.  You may feel inclined to go out and enjoy yourself, and to look after your own needs.  You may find relaxation in what you enjoy and the challenging conditions in life may be swept away at least for a while.

Sometimes with this aspect, you will need to make things happen.  Other times, things just seem to flow your way however.  Sitting back and waiting for life is never a good idea.  Take life under your wing and have some fun.

You may run into someone that adds meaning to your life at this time.  This applies to both women and men, but Venus usually indicates those more female in nature.  Women, in general, may be lots of fun to be with now.  This aspect affects both men and women although the women seem to enjoy these energies a little more than men.

Venus is also about creativity and artistic abilities.  You may find that pursuing anything along these lines which can facilitate these abilities may work in your favour.  The energies flow well into these areas and you may find that you enjoy this part of your life more now than usual.

Starting a new project might be a good idea and make sure that you surround yourself with visual complements that help you settle into things.  Beauty is important and you can create wonderful things during this short stay with the conjunction between Venus and the Sun.

TRANSITING JUPITER & NATAL SATURN IN SEXTILE

The energies of Jupiter in Astrology connect with expansion, optimism, luck and opportunities.  The energies of Saturn, however, have to do with restrictions, delays, caution, lessons and limitations.  Saturn offers potential growth but not without some focus and hard work through carefully planning, study and a cautious approach.   As you can imagine, these two energies can work against each other.

If plans have been in motion for some time, and you have studied the project carefully, Jupiter linked with Saturn offers potential for success as long as you are willing to work diligently.  If you dive into a project without proper forethought and planning then the potential for a successful outcome is lessened to a great degree.

Saturn defines duties and commitments with whatever you decide to move forward in.  Jupiter will provide you with options that might not otherwise be there.  If you need to get work done and completed on time, Saturn is the energy you need to cultivate.  If you are looking for something that is high-minded and spiritual in nature or something concerning litigation then Jupiter might aid you in these areas.

Jupiter looks for expansion and freedom.  Saturn will limit the steps taken so that you move securely one step at a time.  If you are planning an investment, it might be best to be frugal with your spending although you might feel quite comfortable in overextending your bank account and going into debt in order to achieve what you set out to do.  You should still carefully plan out your investments and make sure that there really is opportunity for growth.  The potential is certainly there but do not be overly optimistic.  Realize that it may take time for your fortune to unfold the way you might hope it will.  Do not look for instant returns.

If you already own your own business, this is a good time for expansion, but do not go overboard.  Make sure that the business is ready for expansion and that you can afford the costs that will be incurred once you make the commitment.  Jupiter offers good luck and opportunities but not without hard work and discipline, due to Saturn’s influence.  You may find that your ideas will pan out if you take cautious, informed steps along the way.  There is greater opportunity for success under this influence and Jupiter is suggestive of business prospects and potential for higher earnings.

SHARING OUR GIFTS

The most important realization we can have concerning the gifts we have been graced with would be understanding that these gifts are to be utilized to their fullest.  Not only are we blessed to recognize our special talents (and each and every one of us are graced with something) but we are graced with the ability to use them at our own level of understanding.

As we mature into our selves, we begin to see these gifts more clearly and can begin to use them in our daily lives. 

We practice self-awareness and we understand the importance of living in the moment.  We identify our own unique individuality, and we release the ego’s interference (I know this one takes work).  In the beginning we slowly move forward as it takes time and work to awaken these dormant parts of our self.  Gradually we increase our pace as we recognize these God-given traits that are awakening within.

We all walk this road of life together and we all have equal abilities just in varying areas.  Some individuals fail to see their talents but they too are on track and will travel the road they are meant to walk. 

Once we have discovered our gifts, it is imperative to share them.  A gift is not a gift if it is not utilized and shared.  What good is a thing of beauty if it is greedily hidden away so that we and others cannot enjoy it?  This greedy act also hides the beauty from the individual it was gifted to.

As we awaken to our true potential, it is essential to share what we have learned.  We cannot force anyone to learn for each individual has a choice.  This is a natural process and can and will only happen when it is the right time.  No one knows when the time is right for this process to begin.  We can plant a seed as a teacher but we cannot facilitate learning for others.  That is their choice.

We really do not fully understand the process even when we have walked that trail.  Awakening comes in difference ways for different people.  Let’s honour our differences.

A true teacher teaches through example. 

If you are focused on healing others (and we are all capable of this on some level) share your precious gift through healing and teaching with those that come into your life.   

Gifts are not gifts if they are kept neatly wrapped up in a box.  Gifts are meant to be shared. 

Sometimes we need to be reminded that the individuals that need us the most are the ones that are usually the most challenging to deal with.  It is not necessarily a simple and easy road but these gifts are to be shared with all.  As a result, we should open up to others regardless of the walls and obstacles they may put up in place.   Open up even to those that challenge you.  (We are not suggesting that you put yourself in harm’s way.  This would benefit no one.  We are suggesting that we live through example even for those that make it difficult to share love and compassion with them.)

You are the light for others that cannot see their way clear. 

We CAN use our collective energies to move mountains. 

We can only move forward when we allow ourselves the freedom of movement.  Take whatever steps are necessary to share your life.

TRANSITING JUPITER CONJUNCT NATAL MARS

 Transiting Jupiter often brings good luck, opportunities and expansion.  Jupiter opens doors that may have been previously closed and sometimes these doors deal with life’s philosophies, religious doctrines and spiritual enlightenment.  Much depends on what house your natal Jupiter is found in within your personal Astrology chart and also what house transiting Jupiter is moving through.  Jupiter brings about optimistic approaches to almost anything it touches.

When Jupiter is conjunct Mars, it merges its energies with those of Mars.  Mars is all about drive and the ability to pursue goals and objectives we might want to explore.  Any conjunction always merges the energies of the two or more planets involved.  If, for example, natal Mars was also conjunct the Sun while in conjunction with Jupiter, you would have a merging of all three energies.  As Jupiter makes its conjunction to your Mars have a look at the aspects Mars is making in your chart to other planets or angles as they will also be affected by this conjunction.

If, for example, your Mars was natally located in the fifth house, the expansion and positive energies linked with the desire for action and a push in life may be related to a love connection or your children (if any).  Perhaps you have been waiting on pushing ahead with a creative project.  Now would be the time to pursue these areas of life, although over-optimism and a general feeling that nothing can go wrong should be noted. 

Life has its twists and turns but if the general energies with the natal potential is a favourable influence (defined by natal aspects to Mars and Jupiter) things have a greater likelihood to turn out nicely for you under this influence. 

Remember the closer Jupiter is to making a direct contact to Mars, the stronger the energies.

Another example would be Mars and Jupiter’s conjunction being found in the eleventh house.  This would still have the same energy push and optimistic approach as the previous example but in this location, it would be related to your friends or perhaps some group activity that you have been pursuing or even working towards starting up yourself.  Just ensure that you are not jumping into something without taking the time to do the necessary prep work.  Mars often acts in a hasty manner so keep this in mind.

Your hopes and wishes just might come true if these aspects line up.  Take a chance and go for it with this placement in your chart.  As always, look at the whole chart for the whole picture.

DISPOSITOR TREE

The final Dispositor or Dispositor Tree is essentially the chain of command.  There will be one planet, sometimes two planets, that rules the Astrology chart. 

If there is a planet in its own sign, for example Saturn in Capricorn, it is the final Dispositor or chief in command. 

The way the Dispositor pattern is calculated is determined by the planets in the signs.  For example, we will use Sagittarius as the rising sign which is ruled by Jupiter (the natural ruler of Sagittarius); Jupiter is in Aries (in our example) and so Aries natural ruler is Mars.  Mars is in Scorpio and Scorpio is naturally ruled by Pluto.  Pluto is in the sign of Leo and Leo rules the Sun.  The Sun is in Aquarius and Aquarius is ruled by Uranus.  Uranus is in the sign of Cancer and Cancer is ruled by the Moon.  The Moon is ruled by Scorpio bringing the ruler back to Pluto. 

We have not yet touched on Venus which is in Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter and Jupiter is in Aries.  We have already followed that route and it came back to Pluto. 

We have not touched on Saturn which is in Libra ruled by Venus which is ruled by Sagittarius.  This brings us back again to Jupiter and following that same route to Pluto. 

We have not touched on Neptune which is ruled by Venus and Venus is in Sagittarius bring us back to Jupiter and ending that cycle to Pluto. 

Pluto, therefore, is the common denominator and will be the final Dispositor.

Is there planets in mutual reception (an example of this could be Saturn in Libra and Venus in Capricorn)?

Libra rules Venus and Saturn rules Capricorn, so these two positions are in mutual reception.  These two planets will be very significant in the chart and in this individual’s life.  Having these two planets in each other’s signs stop the chain of command and makes them both very significant in the chart.

Is there are planets in their own signs (for example, Saturn in Capricorn)?  The calculation goes no further and this becomes the final Dispositor. 

Sometimes there are two interplanetary links that constantly come to the forefront.  These two planets are extremely important in the birth chart and together share the rulership of the chart.

The ruler of the Ascendant is also been called the ruler of the chart and its planetary ruler is of extreme importance as well.  For example, Sagittarius as an Ascendant will make Jupiter extremely important in this individual’s life.  If Libra were the rising sign, then Venus would be very important to this individual.  Remember that the Ascendant sign is how we relate to the world on an outside expression and the individual with Libra rising would then be very social, very pleasing to meet, always seeking harmony and balance in life.  They would resonate in this way to those that they meet, especially on first meeting.

The final Dispositor is the planet which other planets depend on and this planet will have a profound effect in the life of the individual.  In the example we used at the start of this post, Pluto will play a prominent role in the unfolding of this individual, and Pluto will have assistance from Jupiter.  These two planetary links, therefore, provide the needed impetus to propel this individual forward in reaching their life’s objectives and transformations will play a big part in that unfolding. 

Follow your chain of command and see which planet or planets affect you in a direct and creative manner.  This will be the driving force and motivating factor in your life.
