TRANSITING JUPITER TRINE NATAL PLUTO

The position of Pluto in the natal chart is where you can expect major transformations, power struggles, deep penetrating insight, sexual overtones and potential regeneration.  Changes take place in these areas of life and in many cases, there is not too much you can do about it.  It is always best not to try to override Pluto’s energies. 

Pluto often brings an end to conditions in order for something new to be activated.

Jupiter is about insight and expanded energies.  Under most conditions Jupiter in transit offers up opportunities to succeed, growth through exploration and optimistic feelings.  In many cases it is as though everything is going our way and it may happen on its own but if not then a little push may be all that is required. 

In its lesson form, Jupiter brings over-optimism and extravagance.  This may be true of almost anything that Jupiter touches.

Trines speak of easy flow and opportunities for success or good luck; however, in rare cases, if for example, someone has been quite sick for some time, trines can cause things to move ahead with little resistance.  Little resistance is what trines speak about.  Trines are what we wait for in life and in most cases, Jupiter’s energies are certainly worth the wait. 

Pluto and Jupiter together may indicate a potential for growth and good fortunes as long as ego and power struggles do not become part of the process.  Pluto may indicate someone in a position of power and authority although this is often Saturn’s domain.  Pluto can cause ego disputes and in turn cause arguments and disruption (but not normally with the trine aspect).  It might be more like good luck and recognition or potential positive transformation that might push us up the corporate ladder of success if this is business oriented.  Pluto with Jupiter will likely create some opportunities to move forward in life and raising the bar might not be a bad idea.  Who knows where this might take us.

Much will depend on the houses involved in our personal Astrology chart, as well as other aspects to this position.  Making changes is often what this aspect is about.  Improve life not only for yourself but also for others.  Pluto carries a lot of weight and we might be surprised at what we can do now.  Sometimes these opportunities for change affect us on a very personal level, so we should make sure that we use these energies to the best of our abilities. 

If Jupiter goes into retrograde we might have several opportunities as it passes over the same position or planet in our chart usually up to three times.  What doesn’t work the first time might very well work better the second and then finalize the situation on its final or third pass.

NEW MOON SEPTEMBER 28 2019

We will be experiencing a New Moon on September 28 at 2:27 p.m. EDT. 

A New Moon’s energies relate to beginning new projects regardless of what that project might look like.  This could be repairing a relationship or beginning a new one.  It could be about starting a business or facilitating growth for a business you are already in.  It could also relate to personal changes or changing careers or thinking about retirement or planning a holiday.  The possibilities are endless.

The placement of this New Moon will be in the sign of Libra at 5 degrees and these energies often speak of relationships.  It speaks of the need for balance and harmony in these relationships, but also speaks of fairness and duty.  Much will depend on what house this New Moon falls in your chart and any aspects it makes to planets or angles (especially MC/ASC) in your personal chart.  This will define what area of life these balancing energies need adjusting and once you deal with these adjustments there could be a significant unfolding.  It should be noted that the planets or angles will need to be within 3 degrees of this lunar position to have an impact in your life.

Venus is the ruling planet of Libra and Venus is also the planet of love and affection as well as material goods particularly those that are ascetically pleasing to the eye.  Some individuals may be thinking about buying a car or refurnishing the home or even buying a new home at this time.  These will be avenues to explore.  Having a look into the energies associated by aspects from other planets within the natal chart to this position will provide you with more information specific to you.

Transiting Uranus is closely in quincunx to this lunar positioning at five degrees Taurus.  Uranus is about sudden and unexpected change and at times can be disruptive.  It speaks about finding a new path or moving in a new and more desirable direction.  Uranus can be abrupt in its actions and is somewhat unpredictable.  Sometimes we have a choice in what takes place; other times it just seems to happen.  A quincunx is about adjusting to the energies in play.  Our attitude also plays an important role in what unfolds.

Try to take your time and study what energies are in place in your chart.  Make plans to move forward, but have a little restraint.  Never jump unless the situation calls for it.  Harmony and peace should be high on the agenda.  We must always be fair.  Libra is a balancing sign, not a balanced sign.  It seeks nothing more than fairness and justice for all through gentle persuasion.  Weighing things out according to the best possible approach which offers the best possible outcome should be what you are striving to achieve or deliver.

BREAK FREE

What holds you back?  Do you hold onto ideologies that could be detrimental to your growth or progress?  Do you accept inherited concepts and ideas without question? 

Many of us have openly accepted concepts passed down without question and we have taken them on as our own.  Our concepts are based on ideas that we have been set before us.  Because they have been accepted in the past, some of us may have never questioned them.

These ideas can certainly include what we conceive is attainable as an individual, physically, emotionally and mentally.   We incorrectly judge our worth based on standards we or someone before us has placed on us.  By doing so, we put limits on all that could be and I mean ALL.

Our conditions change as we set new standards through our focus and beliefs about ourselves.  We can become lost in this search or tethered to judgements that were handed to us as children.  If we release the wanting and searching, we would recognize that all we search for is already part of who we are.

Everything we want for ourselves is available but we hold ourselves back through our belief structures and the programming we have received in the past.  Go beyond the confines of what we consider attainable for this specific time in our lives.  We search and “want” relentlessly.  We do not recognize that it is the wanting and searching that is inhibiting our recognition of who we truly are. 

What is, is as a result of our belief structures.   If we do not want limits, we cannot place limits on anything.  We facilitate this change in accordance to what we believe.  Taking control or at least understanding the control that we have in the process begins a spiral of change that is more in line with where we choose to be in our lives. 

Following instinct through love and allowance, we can push forward accepting that the moment is the real goal and what is, is determined by that moment.....nothing more and nothing less.

Judgement, desire, fear, despair, etc. are always a result of previous conditions.  In finding the now, we let go of any thoughts pertaining to our potential future or our past experiences that hold us prisoner.  Living in the moment requires nothing further.  Recognize, experience, and enjoy this moment!  Nothing else is real.......

TRANSITING PLUTO SQUARE NATAL SUN

Transiting Pluto is currently in the sign of Capricorn and will move into the sign of Aquarius in January of 2024.  Due to its retrograde motion, it will not  go into Aquarius and remain there until November 2024. 

Those that are born with their Sun in Libra or with their Sun in Aries from approximately 18 to 29 degrees will be experiencing a square in their birth charts, at one point or another.  Remember, check the house position of transiting Pluto, the house position of your natal Sun and the house cusp that is ruled by Scorpio to get a clearer picture of what areas of life are affected by this aspect.

Pluto is known to purge and to assist in uncovering different facets of life.  It helps you to uncover information that needs an honest review and then expects that you make appropriate changes as necessary.  Pluto often brings an end to conditions in order for something new to emerge.  

Pluto in the square aspect often produces challenging conditions and also stimulates action particularly when it comes to your goals in life and who you are as an individual.

Pluto will test your resolve and your self-control.  Its energies will push you ahead in life when it comes to ambition.  Pluto can be somewhat relentless as it moves through the areas of life represented by the house positions involved.  There is often power struggles as your “will” is being tested.  If you force your opinions on others during this time, you will more than likely experience much opposition.  If, however, you are working for the general good for those involved, you may find that you do not have much disagreement coming from outside sources. 

The Sun deals with your life’s objectives and the will to move ahead.  The ego is stimulated during transits to the Sun and it will seem very important to have things right.  There will be those that are opposed to your objectives, but you must stand strong in the face of opposition and follow what you believe in, unless of course you are not allowing others to provide you with necessary information. 

If you try to avoid what this aspect is attempting to convey to you, life might challenge you through more difficult conditions and force you into action.  Pluto is relentless and its lessons are necessary.  Best to move forward on your own then to have Pluto force the change.

Under extreme conditions (this would only apply if there are other factors in the chart suggesting the same overall picture), you may find that you feel over-burdened and that you cannot continue along the same path.  This can lead to nervous disorders and an undoing of sorts which can be hard to put back together.  If by chance you fit into this category, seriously consider seeking professional assistance as a little assistance would make this aspect easier to handle. 

Although squares are always considered challenging, it is up to us to handle these energies and take whatever action is appropriate for the situation.  Fighting these energies creates difficulty; recognizing the need for change and moving on this recognition, creates a  much easier flow.

TIME IS ON YOUR SIDE

Some of us sit and wait for the perfect time to move on our goals.  We feel as though there is plenty of time to get things done and do not think in terms of time restrictions or delays.  We believe we always have tomorrow and what will not get done today will certainly wait until tomorrow.  There is no urgency.  There is no rush.  There is plenty of time.

We always have tomorrow even if we pass from this world today.  We are energy - a current of life that never ceases.  If we did not accomplish something in this life time, we were not meant to.  If we did not learn the lessons to their full extent, we will enjoy the lesson again in some other form or another. 

Life is perpetual but does that mean that we should wait or procrastinate? 

I think not!  We are here to live so live we should.  Our greatest potential lies within this very moment that we are currently experiencing.  Should we waste it?  Again, I think not!

There is no greater opportunity than now.  All we have is this very moment.  There is truly no time like the present.  To state this even more precisely, there is only this time at the present. 

We waste prospects by sitting back and waiting for the perfect opportunity to present itself. 

It is said that some things are worth waiting for but does this insinuate inaction?  Perhaps we simply need time to prepare.  If this is the case, utilize this time doing exactly that….preparing.  Perhaps the timing just does not feel right, then let’s use our intuition but do not procrastinate.  There is a difference.

If we feel we should move forward with our objective now, then undoubtedly we should.  If we feel now is not the time, then perhaps we should wait.  Perhaps this intuition is telling us that we have not done all of the necessary prep work before moving forward. 

If, however, we have been putting something off for a long time and we keep making excuses as to why we should not move ahead, it is certainly time to examine why.  The only thing to fear is fear itself.  Do not let fear dictate.  If it is fear of failure or a feeling of never being totally prepared, it might just be time to rise above these fears and take that plunge.

We are never at the mercy of life, although we are often at the mercy of our beliefs.  We must not let fear stand in the way of our progress and cannot let fear stop us from reaching our goals.  The biggest regrets we may have are regrets of inaction.  We know instinctively when the time is right if we remove fear and doubt.

SUN IN LIBRA SEPTEMBER 24 2019

As the Sun moves from Virgo to Libra on September 24 this year (2019), we move from the mutable earth sign to a cardinal air sign.  Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) are known to have a need to advance in life.  In general they formulate a plan then move ahead in these objectives.  Libra is a balancing sign.  This does not mean that they are balanced but does indicate their need for balance.  Librans will strive for harmony and peace at almost any cost.  They will work tirelessly to achieve this in their lives, particularly in the area of relationships.  This could include the relationship with their spouse and their relationships with all others, including their children, family, parents and friends and also the people that they will run into.

Most Librans are very cordial and amiable and truly want to please others.  They are the peacemakers of the Zodiac, and they enjoy creating harmony in whatever circle that they are a part of.  In most cases they are pleasant to be around and very social individuals.  They appear quite refined and often enjoy the finer things in life, not to the extent of Taurus but they are ruled by the same planet (Venus) and Venus loves beautiful things.

Those with their Sun in the sign of Libra will soon be experiencing the energies of Mars which moves through Libra beginning October 5, 2019, and finishing its journey in Libra on November 20, 2019.  At some point all those with their Sun in Libra will experience this conjunction to Mars as it transits through their sun sign. 

Mars is all about activity and action, and it promotes a real strong push in whatever area of life it is found (house).  It will vary from person to person depending on what degree their Sun is in the sign of Libra.  Allowing an orb of 3-5 degrees approaching and 2-3 degrees separating, if you have a Libra sun, you can look at your ephemeris to see how long it will affect your chart as well as when the energy is the strongest. 

How things pan out over this week or so will be determined by the aspects that the natal Sun makes to other natal planets and angles in the chart, as well as any transits that are applying to your Sun at the same time.  In some cases, Mars may pass by with little notice, so Astrology will let you know when the energies are the strongest and you can push a little harder at that time to make things happen.

Transiting Saturn and Pluto will be square to the Sun (check ephemeris for degrees of these two planets), so the energies of the Sun may be somewhat harnessed and likely you will experience some setbacks, potential power struggles and transformations along the way.  They meet up in January, 2020, at around 22 to 23 degrees of Capricorn and will likely causing some disruption felt by all with their sun in Libra, and particularly those with their Sun in Libra close to these degrees.  The transit of Saturn and Pluto will be influential for anyone with planets in these degrees in their natal chart and manifest in the areas of life determined by the houses that they are in.  Things might be a little volatile at this time, so using the energies appropriately is suggested.

FALL EQUINOX - SEPTEMBER 23, 2019

In 2019, the Fall equinox will be September 23 at 3:50 a.m. EDT.

Typically the equinoxes represent the equal division of day and night.  

The Spring equinox (Ostara) celebrates new beginnings and fresh starts. 

The Fall equinox (Mabon) celebrates reaping the rewards of our hard labour and gathering the harvest.  The Fall equinox is a time of reflection on the harvest of our achievements and often considered a time of change.  It is linked to the sign of Libra which above all else is a sign striving for balance.  The balance that we should strive for is the knowing of what we need to hold on to and what we need to let go of.

Some consider this a time of sacrifice as we now reap the rewards of our labour and if we have not sown the seeds of life in the manner we needed to, we may have to sacrifice because of these shortfalls and count our losses.  We, at Holm Astrology, like to see it on the flip side.  It is not a sacrifice but a lesson well learned.  Life is much like a mirror.  It reflects back what we put out.

Astrologically, the Fall equinox represents a balancing point of our self-image.  Do we disapprove of what and where we find ourselves?  Now is the time to review our goals for our life’s quest.  Do we continue with the conquests we have created or do we adjust before we move on?  This review will assist us in recognizing our abilities and true self.

On the opposite side, the spring equinox is linked to the sign Aries and Aries begins things and initiates action.  These two points (spring and fall equinox) are known as cardinal points.  The cardinal points in the horoscope are known as action points.  They are used as timing devices and lead to activity, drive, ambition, and involvement.  During these cycles, we should consider this as a time of action -- either related to the start of something or the end or culmination point of whatever action we have already taken.

It is a time to actively pursue a course of action, to take control of our lives and push forward in the direction of our choice.  Cardinal signs are action oriented and strive for activity that is often personally initiated.  This should be the time we utilize to things happen.  Do not wait for or rely on others.

This will be the time to push ahead or count our losses which ever applies.  (“Losses” is actually not the word we are looking for.  Lessons are never losses.  They are gains but they push us in totally different directions than the direction we thought we should be moving in.)  If we are going to move in a new direction, than now is the time to set these new things in motion.  Use the energies of the equinox to push forward and make the changes needed to address any situation that needs addressing.  The time has come to move beyond any stagnated stages of life that have held us back.  Now is the time to reap the rewards after a busy season of planting the seeds and nurturing growth.  These efforts are now ready to be harvested.
