TRANSITING PLUTO/SATURN CONJUNCTION

We have a very powerful conjunction coming together between transiting Pluto and transiting Saturn.  These two planets will conjunct one another directly in January of 2020 but have been in force off and on throughout 2019.  The transiting conjunction will complete its cycle by March of 2020.  Both Planets are in the sign of Capricorn which often pointing towards power struggles and leadership especially related to business and enterprise.

Remember, this is a world-wide event affecting everyone at the same time.  This could deal with politics and governmental institutions and speaks of challenging conditions causing great disruption and upheaval.  On a world scale, we can see this beginning to take place particularly in the United States with the political turmoil taking hold as this is being written. 

On a personal level, we will need to see what house this conjunction falls in as well as any other planetary influence in the natal chart being affected by this conjunction.  The houses define areas of life involved in the equation while the planets from the natal chart define the energies involved.

Saturn often speaks of discipline and restrictions in place and also has to do with delays, obstruction and people in positions of authority.  Pluto speaks of disruptions and power struggles and major transformations that take hold.  The energies of Pluto can be disruptive but are often in place to produce a much needed change of direction.  Pluto tends to tear down structures and then rebuild from the ruins.  Its energies put an end to conditions so that something new and more beneficial can be built.

Saying that the energies of these two giants are intrusive and challenging is undermining the powerful influence that these planets can have on our lives.  Words cannot express clearly how powerful these planets together can be.  However, although intrusive and chaotic in nature during the change, they do build on creating a solid foundation that over time will stand the test of time and build resilience. 

Saturn is the teacher and the disciplinarian, and Pluto dictates and removes that which has become stagnant and no longer serves a viable purpose.  Pluto’s action is finite and uncovers anything that needs to surface so that it can be dealt with accordingly.  What once was, no longer will be.

It will be interesting to see how these two energies link together and what the final outcome will be.  We, as individuals, will need to address what has been in place and find ways to rebuild on a more structured and solid foundation.  Above all else, we must learn from the experience.

FREEDOM TO BE YOURSELF...IN THE NOW

Do not allow yourself to be influenced and weighed down by what others want you to be.  There are individuals who are unhappy with who they are and because of this, rather than dealing with their own issues or attitudes towards themselves, they push for others to adapt to their ideas of who we should be.  What we see and dislike in others often is something that we do not like within ourselves or something we may fear.

We should never adjust who we are to please others.  We can be whomever we want to be and live our lives surrounded by love.  No one has the right to judge this.  Before we offer an opinion on someone else, which in reality is irrelevant, we need to have a look at ourselves first. 

We have the freedom to choose our character traits and follow what feels right for us in that moment.  We can focus on the character traits that make us happy and content, rather than those that make us feel less than what we want to be.  Freedom of expression if offered through love is our unquestionable right, and we can be ourselves anytime and anywhere.

As mentioned many times, if we do not like what we see within ourselves, acknowledge it and then let it go.  In all cases, negative judgement is ego generated.  It is our core that truly counts. 

We have to recognize this from within and then allow it to surface. 

All we need is found in the moment.  By living in the perfect moment, this allows our true expression of love to flourish.

MIDPOINTS IN ASTROLOGY

Midpoints are considered one of the most successful Astrological applications available for predictive abilities.  A midpoint is the exact halfway point between two planets or two significant points (Ascendant, Midheaven) or astrological bodies (such as Chiron).  The Part of Fortune, as well as the Vertex, or other bodies that you use to delineate an Astrology Chart can also be used when calculating midpoints.

If, for example, you have Uranus at 11 degrees Cancer and the Moon at 28 degrees Scorpio, the midpoint would be 19 degrees Virgo.  If you were to have a planet or significant point in the natal chart that is within a one degree orb of 19 degrees Virgo, that planet /point would be influenced by the energies of Uranus and the Moon.  If, let’s say, you have Mars at 19 degrees, Mars would be heavily influenced by Uranus and the Moon.

With this example, when delineating transits and progressions, any planetary link to this position would also carry these overtones as well as the conjunction to Mars.  You can also use the semi-square, the square, the sesquiquadrate and the opposition when delineating this configuration.  These aspects are all divisions of 45 degrees and will bring action, create events and make these events noticeable to the individual and also, at times, to others that are involved in the equations.

Transit Midpoints are very significant when deciphering potential events especially events tied to situations that are suggested by the natal midpoints and the houses involved in the equation.   As mentioned, use an orb of no more than one degree when deciphering what potential situations may occur.  Midpoints are significant because they will provide the Astrologer with a clearer indication of what potential lies within the bounds of these transfigurations.

This can also be applied to any midpoint of any combination found in the natal chart, as the midpoint becomes a focal point when transits or progression join up and make contact with these sensitive points.  In most cases when the conjunction is activated between the two planets or significant points and the aspect is direct within one minute, you can expect something to happen.

The house location of the midpoint will provide you with the area of life affected.  Also, look at the houses the two bodies are located within in the natal chart to provide an even clearer picture.  Also take into consideration what the planets represent and how this area of life will be affected.

For example, the Moon and Uranus and Mars would suggest an emotional experience that would be sudden and unexpected with the potential for aggressive action or progressive movement in the areas of life indicated.

Midpoints can pinpoint events although the more angles involved, the harder it is to delineate.  Using the midpoint between the two planets is often sufficed in providing additional information. 

When dealing with midpoints, pay particular attention to the midpoints between the Sun and the Moon, and the Ascendant and the Midheaven.

THE END RESULT

After a life of many gains and many losses lying on our death bed, what would we anticipate our last thoughts to be? 

Which of our accomplishments will still hold significance? 

Will we be focused on our accomplishments?  

As we draw our last breath, what will matter most?

Many individuals strive throughout their lives to attain material gains, to achieve, to be recognized....to gain acknowledgement and approval.  Will any of these have any importance at the end? 

Does a wealthy individual carry forward any type of spiritual prosperity from a life of material gain?  What is their legacy? We are not saying that they will not.  What could that spiritual prosperity be?

As an individual, what do we want our legacy to be?   How do we want to be remembered?

If we live long enough to retire, anything that was significant and had meaning in our working world is left behind.  What we did, the authority that we had is fleeting upon retirement.  Our accomplishments may be remembered by some but the individual person is soon forgotten.  We may have created beneficial changes within the business that will serve those that follow us but we personally, as an individual, will never be known to those that come after us.

TRANSITING JUPITER TRINE NATAL PLUTO

The position of Pluto in the natal chart is where you can expect major transformations, power struggles, deep penetrating insight, sexual overtones and potential regeneration.  Changes take place in these areas of life and in many cases, there is not too much you can do about it.  It is always best not to try to override Pluto’s energies. 

Pluto often brings an end to conditions in order for something new to be activated.

Jupiter is about insight and expanded energies.  Under most conditions Jupiter in transit offers up opportunities to succeed, growth through exploration and optimistic feelings.  In many cases it is as though everything is going our way and it may happen on its own but if not then a little push may be all that is required. 

In its lesson form, Jupiter brings over-optimism and extravagance.  This may be true of almost anything that Jupiter touches.

Trines speak of easy flow and opportunities for success or good luck; however, in rare cases, if for example, someone has been quite sick for some time, trines can cause things to move ahead with little resistance.  Little resistance is what trines speak about.  Trines are what we wait for in life and in most cases, Jupiter’s energies are certainly worth the wait. 

Pluto and Jupiter together may indicate a potential for growth and good fortunes as long as ego and power struggles do not become part of the process.  Pluto may indicate someone in a position of power and authority although this is often Saturn’s domain.  Pluto can cause ego disputes and in turn cause arguments and disruption (but not normally with the trine aspect).  It might be more like good luck and recognition or potential positive transformation that might push us up the corporate ladder of success if this is business oriented.  Pluto with Jupiter will likely create some opportunities to move forward in life and raising the bar might not be a bad idea.  Who knows where this might take us.

Much will depend on the houses involved in our personal Astrology chart, as well as other aspects to this position.  Making changes is often what this aspect is about.  Improve life not only for yourself but also for others.  Pluto carries a lot of weight and we might be surprised at what we can do now.  Sometimes these opportunities for change affect us on a very personal level, so we should make sure that we use these energies to the best of our abilities. 

If Jupiter goes into retrograde we might have several opportunities as it passes over the same position or planet in our chart usually up to three times.  What doesn’t work the first time might very well work better the second and then finalize the situation on its final or third pass.

NEW MOON SEPTEMBER 28 2019

We will be experiencing a New Moon on September 28 at 2:27 p.m. EDT. 

A New Moon’s energies relate to beginning new projects regardless of what that project might look like.  This could be repairing a relationship or beginning a new one.  It could be about starting a business or facilitating growth for a business you are already in.  It could also relate to personal changes or changing careers or thinking about retirement or planning a holiday.  The possibilities are endless.

The placement of this New Moon will be in the sign of Libra at 5 degrees and these energies often speak of relationships.  It speaks of the need for balance and harmony in these relationships, but also speaks of fairness and duty.  Much will depend on what house this New Moon falls in your chart and any aspects it makes to planets or angles (especially MC/ASC) in your personal chart.  This will define what area of life these balancing energies need adjusting and once you deal with these adjustments there could be a significant unfolding.  It should be noted that the planets or angles will need to be within 3 degrees of this lunar position to have an impact in your life.

Venus is the ruling planet of Libra and Venus is also the planet of love and affection as well as material goods particularly those that are ascetically pleasing to the eye.  Some individuals may be thinking about buying a car or refurnishing the home or even buying a new home at this time.  These will be avenues to explore.  Having a look into the energies associated by aspects from other planets within the natal chart to this position will provide you with more information specific to you.

Transiting Uranus is closely in quincunx to this lunar positioning at five degrees Taurus.  Uranus is about sudden and unexpected change and at times can be disruptive.  It speaks about finding a new path or moving in a new and more desirable direction.  Uranus can be abrupt in its actions and is somewhat unpredictable.  Sometimes we have a choice in what takes place; other times it just seems to happen.  A quincunx is about adjusting to the energies in play.  Our attitude also plays an important role in what unfolds.

Try to take your time and study what energies are in place in your chart.  Make plans to move forward, but have a little restraint.  Never jump unless the situation calls for it.  Harmony and peace should be high on the agenda.  We must always be fair.  Libra is a balancing sign, not a balanced sign.  It seeks nothing more than fairness and justice for all through gentle persuasion.  Weighing things out according to the best possible approach which offers the best possible outcome should be what you are striving to achieve or deliver.

BREAK FREE

What holds you back?  Do you hold onto ideologies that could be detrimental to your growth or progress?  Do you accept inherited concepts and ideas without question? 

Many of us have openly accepted concepts passed down without question and we have taken them on as our own.  Our concepts are based on ideas that we have been set before us.  Because they have been accepted in the past, some of us may have never questioned them.

These ideas can certainly include what we conceive is attainable as an individual, physically, emotionally and mentally.   We incorrectly judge our worth based on standards we or someone before us has placed on us.  By doing so, we put limits on all that could be and I mean ALL.

Our conditions change as we set new standards through our focus and beliefs about ourselves.  We can become lost in this search or tethered to judgements that were handed to us as children.  If we release the wanting and searching, we would recognize that all we search for is already part of who we are.

Everything we want for ourselves is available but we hold ourselves back through our belief structures and the programming we have received in the past.  Go beyond the confines of what we consider attainable for this specific time in our lives.  We search and “want” relentlessly.  We do not recognize that it is the wanting and searching that is inhibiting our recognition of who we truly are. 

What is, is as a result of our belief structures.   If we do not want limits, we cannot place limits on anything.  We facilitate this change in accordance to what we believe.  Taking control or at least understanding the control that we have in the process begins a spiral of change that is more in line with where we choose to be in our lives. 

Following instinct through love and allowance, we can push forward accepting that the moment is the real goal and what is, is determined by that moment.....nothing more and nothing less.

Judgement, desire, fear, despair, etc. are always a result of previous conditions.  In finding the now, we let go of any thoughts pertaining to our potential future or our past experiences that hold us prisoner.  Living in the moment requires nothing further.  Recognize, experience, and enjoy this moment!  Nothing else is real.......
