SUN IN ARIES - MARCH 19, 2020

The Sun moves into the cardinal, fire sign of Aries on March 19, 2020 at approximately 11:51 p.m. EDT. 

Aries has been linked to enthusiasm, aggressive action and a strong push to move in a direction that can open doors for advancement or personal gain.  Many Aries have a “me-first” attitude.  Many Arians recognize that we can’t help others until we help our self.  If the push is just for themselves however and without concern for others, they may be working from the wrong end of what Aries is here to accomplish.

Fire signs, under normal conditions (depending on other influences in the birth chart), have a lot of energy and are self-driven.  Aries wants to be the first one to move ahead and because of this will learn through experience.  These individuals will make their fair share of mistakes which will require corrections along the road of life.  These can be very valuable lessons.

Aries can be a little too pushy at times, but they do feel they know what is best for whoever is in their focus especially when it comes to something they believe in.  Some Arians can develop ego issues if they don’t curb their enthusiasm into channels that also benefit others.

Aries individuals are the initiators and many would do well being self-employed.  They are not followers; they are leaders.  It is important for Arians to think things out a little longer before they plunge headfirst into a course of action.  They will make fewer mistakes along the way; but if they fall short, it may be because they struggle somewhat with staying power.  They can quickly move on to something else but also pick up the pieces and recover quickly from any past miscalculations that they may have made.

Currently, those with their Sun in Aries in and around the 23 to 24 degrees will be experiencing a tight square to the Pluto.  Pluto is the agent of change and transforms structures so that something new will emerge from the ashes of what is no longer viable.  There are no halfway measures about Pluto and in many cases things come to an abrupt end before something more viable can make its way forward. 

The Sun is our inner self.  Our goals and aspirations are often tied to the Sun sign and house position.  Much will depend on the house position of your Sun and its square coming from Pluto, but any Arians with this aspect can expect goals to undergo major transformations which are often slow to begin and slowly unfold over time.  Often we do not fully comprehend what is taking place and the why behind it until a year or so after the fact. 

If Pluto is found on the DC, this often signals an end to an important relationship or the beginning of a new one.  This is usually tied to a marriage partner or close business associate.  Much will also depend on what other factors in the birth chart are attached to the natal positioning of the Sun.  If it is poorly aspected then the transformation and regeneration can become quite challenging and some need to reach out for professional assistance under this influence.  However we should also recognize that regardless of what takes place, changes (and often total transformation) are a requirement sent from higher purposes.  Squares are difficult but on the plus side they will force us into action; action that is required. 

Those Arians with their Sun in the early degrees of Aries will be experiencing the sextile from transiting Saturn.  Saturn is the teacher of the Zodiac and when Pluto and Saturn were in conjunction in January/February of 2020, individuals with their Sun at around the 23 degrees of Aries will have experienced the square from both planets.  This would have been an intense time indeed. 

Now, however, and until June 2020, those individuals with their Sun in the early degrees will be enjoying this sextile which often points to opportunities coming their way.  However, these Arians will always have to do some work (and be diligent in their efforts) if they want to succeed.  Saturn’s requirements are hard work and a disciplined effort. 

Always use the energies at hand in the best possible manner in order to create the best possible outcomes.  Do not squander the energies at hand.

ARE YOU GIVING IT YOUR BEST?

It is important to stand by our convictions and to live life listening to our hearts. 

There are always choices for us to make along our journey yet there is a purpose to fulfill and changing this ultimate purpose, we believe is virtually impossible.  This important issue or purpose is believed to form the overall lesson we are meant to learn. 

Adjustments to the journey are constant and often we do not recognize the path before us.  We make modifications as we see fit and do what we feel is best.

It IS important to follow what we feel is best and to do our best as we continue forward.  We are human but we cannot use that as an excuse to be lazy or lackadaisical.  We can and will make slip-ups along the road, but we can always pick ourselves up and continue on.   Most “slip-ups” contain lessons that are invaluable. 

What others think of our path and our life’s expression is of no concern to us as that is a reflection of their opinion not a reflection of who we are.  Of course, we must never injure others in any way intentionally. Our effort and what we think of ourselves is what is of utmost importance.

During self-evaluation, it is important to recognize when ego is unleashing its negative or egotistical opinion.  This again is not us.  We are sparks of the source.  We should never identify with ego’s ranting.  If we see something within that does not suit who we feel we are, we simply do not call it our own.  Recognize it only as a learned tool and then release it. 

Our belief structures and our expectations form our reality.  If we refocus our thoughts, we change our course and this can be done at any given moment.  We are not suggesting denial.  Recognise, accept and release.  The shift can be permanent and extremely positive. 

Life will always have its trials and tribulations (because we are here to learn).  We can learn from anything that comes our way as long as we maintain a positive attitude.  Once we have learned the life lesson, move forward.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE NATAL JUPITER

Since transiting Neptune has been in the sign Pisces since 2011 and will remain in this sign until 2025, those with their Jupiter in the sign of Cancer or Scorpio will have either experienced this trine from Neptune or are currently experiencing this trine or will be having this trine in the not so distant future. 

Those individuals that are highly attuned to the energies of Neptune can begin to feel its energies as much as 8 degrees approaching and will still feel its energies although dissipating up to 2 degrees past direct.  Check an ephemeris to see if and when you will be experiencing this trine in your personal chart and don’t forget the closer it is to being direct, the stronger the energies.

Although Neptune can have profound effects in our chart, its energies often begin in rather subtle ways and as it gets closer to being direct, we will begin to feel its energies.  Neptune has a dissolving effect and sometimes things seem quite vague or confusing but it also has a powerful influence on our subconscious as Neptune’s energies are entangled with the mystical side of life.  Some with strong placements in the sign of Pisces (which Neptune rules) can be quite intuitive and even psychic.  Some have artistic talents such as music abilities and acting but in general with strong Pisces in the natal chart, most individuals do not like aggressive or challenging situations.  Some find their escape through the use of drugs and alcohol. 

Jupiter on the other hand has a tendency to expand on everything it touches and in many cases brings good luck, good fortune and an optimistic, favourable approach to life’s situations.  Jupiter is the planet of growth and in most cases is considered quite fortunate.  When in Cancer, this expansive nature can deal with the home and family.  Nurturing abilities runs quite strong in these individuals.  Strong Cancer individuals nurture through higher learning and through a rather philosophic approach.  Some use religious techniques while other may use positive reinforcement when nurturing others. 

When Jupiter is in Scorpio, the desire to get to the bottom of anything mysterious and occult matters runs deep.  There is a strong desire to transform one’s self through self-discovery and mystical practice.

When these two energies touch one another by trine, (a very favourable, flowing aspect) the expansiveness of Jupiter is often pushed into higher learning dealing with the mystical side of life.  Much of course will depend on which houses are involved.  Check transiting Neptune’s placement in the natal chart as well as natal Jupiter and also have a look at the natal position of natal Neptune.  Check to see what energies (aspects from other planets) are part of the picture from the natal chart and transiting planets to Jupiter and transiting Neptune.

For those that are focused on a mystical journey, this could come through as an awakening period in their life especially if Uranus is somehow part of the picture.  If by chance there are other factors in the chart at this time that are very challenging, in some cases the trine from Neptune can push things through more quickly.  In many cases, this can bring a favourable outcome, although much will depend on the individual’s attitude towards what is taking place. 

Attitude in life always plays a significant role in our experience and in recognizing that all experience on some level brings favourable results or operate as great teaching tools that will certainly help in the understanding of what unfolds.

CERES

Ceres is an asteroid which is found between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.  Its main influence in Astrology focuses on nurturing and protection, but has also been known to be connected to anguish and grief. 

Some individuals suggest that Ceres is connected to loss and that people will go to great lengths to regain what was once lost even if it means discarding anything that gets in their way of this recovery.  The problem is sometimes we cannot regain what is lost.  This is where the nurturing instinct and protection influences may surface with someone who has lost something important to them or in direct relationship to “something” that has been physically lost to them.

The placement of Ceres by sign and house position will define what area of life needs nurturing and in what manner this nurturing can take place. 

A couple of examples might help.  We will use both the sign and the house placement for clarity.  If, for example, Ceres were found in the sign of Aries, what this individual needs and wants to give would be self-regulated.  They would work diligently driving themselves, sometimes using force, to achieve their objectives.  Action is what is needed and if for example this were in the third house, their needs and wants may involve their siblings or even neighbours.  A great way to help heal or nurture that which needs to be nurtured would be through communicative techniques with this example house placement. 

With our example, the intellect would play a significant role in what unfolds.  They would feel as though it would be up to them to move ahead and their priority may be to nurture what suits them or push for nurturing those siblings, but this individual would want to be the forerunner in what takes place. 

Another example may be Ceres in the sign of Leo.  These individuals would really appreciate attention and even admiration if it goes to the extreme.  Above all with this example, these individuals would like respect and to be noticed for what they do even if the actions were being carried out for someone else.  They would want to control the situation but would have strong consideration for what the other person may want.  If Ceres happened to be in the fifth house with our Leo example, the focus may involve a romantic partnership or their children.  Enjoyment and experiencing life would be strong points with this placement and living life to the fullest would help in the healing process. 

Let’s look at one more example.  Let’s say that this last example, the individual has a Scorpio Ceres in the 12^th house.  This individual may need healing through acts connected to sexual expression or through internal integration and eventual transformation.  There would be a need or deep understanding of the mystical or spiritual side of life and a strong want for full understanding of these subjects.  Anything mysterious would open doors to eventual healing through deep self-study or a strong push to help others through their own methods of self-study revealing anything that needs to surface.  This in turn would lead to healing deep integrated wounds. 

Due to this placement of Ceres being in the twelfth house with this last example, this individual may work behind closed doors or undercover in some manner, as this work could be secretive or subdued in some way.  They may work in hospitals or prisons or work as a volunteer for the underdog.  With this placement, they may use their own understanding of what needs healing in others because they have lived under similar conditions themselves (knowledge through direct experience).

There is a strong need for healing and also to be the healing agent when it comes to Ceres in the Astrology chart.  It is a mothering influence and some say it is connected to the sign Virgo with Venus having rulership.  So Venus in the sign of Virgo suits this asteroid (which is also known as a dwarf planet).

FULFILLING OUR DREAMS

It is time to make our dreams come true.  Many of us have been sitting around long enough.  Now is the time to take action.

What are we waiting for? 

We are the only ones holding us back. 

Many of our dreams have been sitting on the shelf and we have been waiting for the perfect moment to move forward.  Stop waiting for that perfect moment.  It will never come.

Many of us resist moving forward because of the fear of failure.  Is it not better to try and fall short than to live our lives with regrets for never trying at all? 

What we term as failure is simply a lesson to help us adjust our dreams to make them workable.

All dreams have the capability of transforming into reality.  We have what it takes to make those necessary moves.  Go for it.  Forge ahead and if we fail, learn from the lesson so that we can begin again.  There is no time like the present.  Take advantage of this moment.  Strive to make our ambitions a reality.  Believe! 

We and we alone hold the key to our own personal success.  It may not unfold as we might think it should at times, but at the very least it will unfold, so push on.  Occasionally life drops opportunities on our laps.  More often than not, however, we must orchestrate the action but not without stepping into the unknown.

URANUS

Uranus, the planet of revolution and often sudden and drastic change, often causes havoc in people’s lives when it transits through the heavens.  It is the ruler of Aquarius, the water barer, and is commonly known as the awakener.  Its influence will function as a huge factor in making necessary changes to our lives. 

Uranus makes changes in areas of life that have outgrown their usefulness.  Uranus shows areas that require alteration and liberation from anything that could be considered traditional or restrictive in nature.  It creates a desire for the new and unique and often produces this in unexpected and in unconventional ways.

Uranus moves through each sign in approximately 7 years and takes a full 84 years to circle the zodiac.  During its movement, it creates quick results and a feeling of liberation and freedom from restriction.  It governs universal brotherhood and is humanitarian in its nature.  Uranus will force us to have an honest look at life’s issues and then enforce any necessary changes.  If we choose not to adhere to what is being proposed, this influence will often affect us in a much more abrupt manner and will then most likely be out of our control.

Uranus is rebellious in its nature and pushes us forward to independent thinking and with a flair for the unconventional and unique.  Uranus also has been known to produce shocking awakenings especially when our eyes have been closed to what is now required.  Uranus governs universal truths and intuition.  Anyone with strong Uranus tendencies has a unique way of rendering these truths (quite often in an abrupt matter-of-fact fashion).

Uranus’ action is unpredictable, imaginative and also very inspirational.  It is the higher octave of Mercury and therefore is considered a planet linked to mental processing.  It deals a lot with potential outcomes and is future oriented.  Uranus pushes us to come out into the open and express our uniqueness and creativity.  It is linked with advanced mental quickness and agility, similar to Mercury, although the thinking process may be considered bohemian in its nature.

Uranus rules electricity and anything electronic, such as computers and technology at its newest.  Uranus is anything but conventional.  Depending upon where it is found in our Astrology charts, it will indicate where we choose to reveal our originality and uniqueness. 

If, for example, Uranus is closely linked to the Ascendant in the first house, originality will shine through.  Many would consider someone with Uranus close to the Ascendant as a bit of an eccentric and they would not be ashamed of this flair which makes them stand apart from the crowd.  

Uranus will push us to be different and also to be proud of our uniqueness.

SHIP OF LIFE

It is said that we learn from life’s harder lessons and we would certainly hope that we listen and heed to the hard lessons. 

Why is it many of us do not seem to heed the easier lessons? 

Is there some other way to teach us lessons without having the hard experiences and we can still reap the full understanding we need to learn?

If we had full control over every event we experienced in our life, would we shelter ourselves from the challenging lessons we need to learn by reducing the hardships experienced? 

Would we choose an easier path to enlightenment?  They say that the best lessons learned are the more difficult ones, but why is that? 

Most of us accept that life teaches us what we need to learn, but can we accept without question some of the challenges that are provided by life? 

In reality there is little choice of the events that come our way (certainly choice on how we deal with them) and we have to adapt to these conditions.  They are what they are.  Quite the statement, but ultimately this is the truth.

Fighting hardships that are placed in front of us only serves to make what feels difficult even harder.  It may appear in the beginning that we are winning when we are paddling up stream against the rapids but eventually we will tire and the current will take us downstream where we were meant to go in the beginning. 

Stop paddling upstream.  Turn the kayak downstream right from the get go, climb in and enjoy shooting the rapids.  Ego tells us to paddle against the current.  What does this accomplish?

We are well equipped to handle most of life’s events.  There are times when we travel in a one-person kayak but there will be times when we have to utilize a ship.  Call upon the best mates you can find to help sail that ship.  A dear friend, earthly trained professionals, our higher self, our guides and Source are the best shipmates available. 

We are in control of how we sail our ship.  We make the decisions on how to sail this life by our attitude towards the waters we ride.  Put the journey into proper perspective.  Attitude and belief structure are key ingredients to resolving issues that enter our lives.  When we meet with a trained professional they do not do the work for us, they guide us to understanding, but in the end we make the adjustments that are necessary.

Regardless of how we address our journey, we are the captain at the helm and make the decisions of what we are doing with the ship.  Realize your control and strength.  Know that these are yours.  Work as hard as you need to control your ship in these turbulent waters but know this storm will pass and you will again enjoy the calm waters.
