FINANCIAL CONCERNS VERSES HEALTH CONCERNS

Much has been said about our faltering economy and the current turmoil with our stock markets around the world.  There is little doubt that life will be altered significantly in some form or another after this storm passes. 

What will our world look like and how will we rebound? 

Many have been laid off and many closures.  Shut downs seem to be the answer to ensuring safe distancing and to contain the spread of this invisible threat. 

Some in power are suggesting that everyone return to work before we have won the battle.  They say it can kick start the economy.  Perhaps this is true but at what cost?  In reality, we really do not know what impact will be experienced financially.

Are we willing to let those that are susceptible to this virus be exposed for the sake of money? 

Perhaps we need to go beyond our own financial concerns and reach out with a helping hand for those that are struggling through care, support and love. 

We can all lend a helping hand in some fashion or another.  It is the time to make sacrifices for the greater good.  Who wants to be the individual responsible for saying who should live and who should not?

In many ways, the control of this invisible threat is out of our hands and what unfolds over time will take place, with or without our consent.   We do, however, have control over our actions that can affect the choice of putting human life ahead of money.  We can make choices that benefit mankind.  Our financial resources will eventually rebound and eventually our world financially will march on. 

The interesting question is what will we learn from this experience?

We now realize how precious, yet fragile, life truly is.  This threat does not care what colour our skin is, what we believe, how much we have in our bank account, what year we were born, what country we live in.  We are all experiencing the same threat. 

We are truly one people, all brothers and sisters.  We are all here for a short time in the grand scheme of things and experiencing life through our own involvement and attitude.  Finances are secondary to life itself.  We can’t replace a life nor can money make up for a loss.

Sometimes life dictates and we just ride along its wave.  Our attitude has a significant role in how life affects us at any time.  Rise above the threat.  Find your inner strength.  Do your part and experience your life as it unfolds.  Love one another and have faith in the ongoing process.

PLUTO THE TRANSFORMING AGENT

Pluto over the next year or so will be between 22-26 degrees in the sign of Capricorn.  There is little doubt that Pluto’s influence is upon us at this current time. 

Jupiter makes close contact (conjunction aspect) right to the end of the year also being found in the sign of Capricorn. 

Capricorn’s energies have to do with business and enterprise and work in a slow rather meticulous manner as they incorporate and align through diligent efforts on our part.

Jupiter under all conditions tends to exaggerate and exemplify anything it touches.  It builds and offers growth and often suggests opportunities and potential luck.  It expands on things and in challenging situations can expand on this as well.  However, Jupiter will often produce opportunistic outcome when it peaks.  This may not seem like an opportune time in our lives, but if you were to look at life’s situations from a mystical or spiritual perspective, Jupiter’s expansive forces could be seen as a teaching opportunity or tool.

Pluto will regenerate and transform business over time due to its placement in Capricorn, but it also makes things tumultuous and there are no half measures with Pluto.  It tears down what is no longer suitable and ends these conditions and then rebuilds from the ashes of what used to be.  Pluto has been known to be the aggressor and the changes being enforced through its relentless energies have to be accepted, as fighting the changes Pluto bring is often fruitless.

We know how currently this epidemic affects health and in a small percentage of cases kills the most vulnerable.  Pluto likely has its hand in this area as well.  However what Pluto does suggest is going within in a very deep and personal way.  It can force issues to the surface and push us to re-evaluate life’s conditions.  It can also push us to make changes to current conditions that halt progress often through means from an unconscious source. 

The changes are often subtle, at first asking for your attention and then they push with more force and intent.  This creates action on our part. 

These transformations are at hand because they need to be (we are not just referring to the pandemic.  We are referring to this aspect as a whole).  This is personal as well as universal as this conjunction affects everyone throughout the world.  We can ask ourselves what needs revamping and what are we willing to change in order to come out the other side more reflective and deeper in self-understanding.

What we do with these energies will always be up to us personally.  Our attitudes play a significant role in the teachings coming into our lives at this point in time.  To get a clearer picture of how these energies are playing out in your life particularly, have a look at which house the planets are transiting through in your Astrology chart and also look to see if there are any aspects between these two planets and how they link up in your personal chart.  Are either of these planets in aspect to other planets in your natal chart?  These focuses will assist in the delineation process.

Remember life always points us in the direction most suitable for our evolution even when we don’t see how this could possibly manifests.

FULL MOON IN LIBRA APRIL 7, 2020

We will be experiencing a Full Moon today, April 7, 2020, at 10:35 p.m. EDT.  The Pink (April) Supermoon will be at 18 degrees and 44 minutes Libra and will makes a quincunx to the planet Neptune which will be at 19 degrees of Pisces.

A Full Moon is the culmination of events or the harvest time of our efforts.  What we have started and the effort we have made will reflect the harvest we reap.  Obviously, outcomes will be different for each one of us.  This is the time to harvest, to move even further with our objectives, to make minor changes or begin again.  The work we have put into these matters determines what our next course of action will be.

Since this Full Moon has to do with Libra, the sign for the need for balance and a strong desire for harmony, this may be an indicator that, in part, our lessons around this pandemic might be about seeking a balance throughout the world and finding harmony for all its inhabitants.  Libra has to do with relationships.  This begins at home with our relationships with close family and then extends outward with our relationship to people within our community, within our country, within all nations.

Perhaps the balance that we are seeking is found in orchestrating a helping hand to those nations that are in dire need.  Perhaps the balance that we seek comes from within.  Libra has the ability to make sound judgement and being ruled by Venus has the ability to move ahead gently and with  consideration.  Libra is a balancing sign not a balanced sign.

This lunar placement making an aspect to Neptune speaks of things being unclear and vague and a degree of uncertainty is in the air.  We can all identify with this no doubt.  Some Astrologers associate illness with the quincunx aspect.  Neptune has also been associated with hard to diagnose illnesses especially when found in the sixth house. 

To gain specific information we would have to refer to our natal chart to see which houses are involved (areas of life involved on a personal level).  The solar chart will also help define what the year from birthday to birthday suggests.  Much can be learned through a clear and concise reading of these charts.

PROGRESSED SUN CONJUNCT THE MIDHEAVEN OR ASCENDANT

The progressed Sun moves one degree per year and it governs ambition, power and authority.  It also reflects our vitality and our ability to recuperate from illnesses.  It often identifies the husband or father in a woman’s chart as well as authority figures in life such as your superiors within the working environment.  It could, however, also be directly related to you, personally.

The influence of the progressed Sun on the Midheaven or Ascendant is generally in effect for three years.  The energies can be felt as much as one and one-half degrees before it becomes direct and for the same extended period of degrees after it moves away from being exact. 

When the progressed Sun is in conjunction with the natal Ascendant, it can indicate a time of advancement in life on many levels.  This could include favourable opportunities for change in life and opportunities for inner achievements and/or outer success.  It can also indicate the potential for meeting someone in life that will have a great influence on you and will teach you many life lessons.  It could also suggest that the father or in some cases your son has available to them opportunities that the aspect and placement is suggesting.   These influences would be of a positive note if there are other conditions within the chart that suggest similar opportunities.

The progressed Sun on the Ascendant often implies that health is robust and feelings linked to good health are often a by-product.  Much depends on the influence of other transits and progressions affecting the Ascendant during the three year period of influence.

When the progressed Sun is in conjunction to the Midheaven, depending on the age of the individual, we may find advancement opportunities in occupation or there may be a graduation from such as University.  Some of life’s objectives often materialize when the progressed Sun reaches this degree.  More opportunities for our hopes and wishes to manifest are often indicated when the Progressed Sun reaches the MC (Midheaven).  Changes of a positive nature to our status may occur or present themselves.  Much depends on the natal potential, but nonetheless, the time is ripe for opportunities to enhance the career or move ahead in life during this aspect.

If the Progressed Sun were conjunct the MC, it would also be in opposition to the IC often suggesting changes to the home environment and to family members.  Oppositions usually imply actions from someone else.  This could suggest that a son or possibly a daughter might move from home especially if Venus or Mars is somehow connected to this position.  There may be potential for some type of income or opportunities involving the home.  More potential is suggested when the Progressed Sun is in conjunction to the IC, as conjunctions offer more opportunities than an oppositions angle.  Oppositions often suggest reversals or challenging conditions that often stem from others.

When deciphering the Progressed Sun always take into consideration the potential in the natal chart and the transits and progressions to the chart as a whole.  Remember there has to be three or more similar aspects to stimulate an event, either through transit or progression.  The more aspects involved suggesting something similar, the greater the possibility for an event to occur.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE SEXTILE NATAL SUN

If transiting Neptune is making a sextile to your natal Sun currently, your Sun will be either in Capricorn or Taurus. 

Both of these signs are earth signs and often related to achievement in physical terms or achievement of goals that are important to you when in connection to the Sun’s energies.  Both of these signs are trying to create some kind of stabilizing agent and neither like change.

Neptune is not tied to material gain but can open doors to gaining insight into the deeper regions of the psyche.  The Sun is also tied to who we are on a deep and personal level, unlike the Ascendant which is our outer expression.  The Sun is our inner self. 

Neptune also seeks alignment with our higher self and our true identity.  With this information we can see that the potential to seek out more of our inner core identity could be at hand if we have this aspect in our chart.

Neptune is also related to our spiritual connection more than any other planet transiting through our birth chart although Uranus and Pluto can most certainly have an impact in transforming self through inner reflection and through new experiences and change.  Due to the influence of Neptune which has to do with psychic revelations and intuitive insight, many individuals on the spiritual path will find this period enlightening.  Check the timing when the sextile will apply to the natal Sun’s position in your personal chart.

Because both signs related to the natal position of the Sun are earth signs and associated with concrete form and realistic interpretation, much of this energy will go through channels that will attempt to validate what is being transferred through unconscious means.  Neptune does tend to work best through the subconscious and will often foster growth through mystical paths and subtle energies. 

The influences and their results may not be evident until once the conscious mind has time to filter through life’s experience and find what could be considered rational insight, but which may also be hard to recognize.

Sextiles speak of opportunities and these apparent prospects will likely come through in a slow methodical manner and as mentioned, take some time to become obvious and clear.  Neptune can create a foggy vision and may also produce a vail of uncertainty due to the influx of attempted concentrated rational processing. 

Much will depend on the planet Mercury in the natal chart.  Mercury deals directly with the thinking process and anyone with Mercury in either a water sign or water house may find this process of psychic interpretation easier and more fluent in its expression.

Make the best of the potential energies offered through insight and revelation over this period and most importantly make sure that after careful and needed forethought, you believe what is in front of you.  The rational mind may interfere with the insight and flow coming through from Neptunian frequencies.

ARE YOU READY?

I have read, as I am sure many of you have as well, that we are currently experiencing a shift in consciousness. 

Do you feel it?  

What, if anything, can you do to prepare mentally for such a shift? 

Do you need to do anything? 

How will it affect you, if at all? 

These are questions we have heard being tossed around. 

Whether we choose to take action or not, the shift is in motion. 

How do we prepare?  The energies, as with any energy, will touch us if and when we are ready.  The personal experience of these energies only unfolds at the rate we are able to experience them.  One individual may have already undergone an immense shift.  The next individual may only have a few more things that need to surface to begin their new journey and yet another person may have years of prep work ahead of them. 

Preparation can be part of the process and many of us have been going through changes at an incredible rate in the recent past. 

What can we do to prepare?  We can, but it is not necessary, have a look at our life and make changes if we feel we must.  Most importantly, let go and recognize the eternal moment and its significance.  Be present and allow.

Are we ready?  Think about that question for a moment.  We would not be focused on this shift if we were not ready.  Let go of the outcome and experience the process. 

How will it affect us?  It is enlightening.  This journey brings us into the moment and within that moment resides everything. 

Release our expectations?  This experience may seem new, yet we also know the feeling, as though we are returning home.  It is somehow familiar. 

Each one of us is part of the shift.  Enjoy and be.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE NATAL NEPTUNE

Currently Neptune is in the sign of Pisces and those that have it in trine to its natal position currently would have been born between approximately 1958 to roughly 1971.  Anyone born during this estimated period will have their natal positioning of Neptune in the sign of Scorpio.  The trine occurs approximately at the age of 55 although it can vary somewhat (check your ephemeris for the exact degree date). 

If you are younger than 55, you have yet to experience the energies of this trine and if you are older than 55, you have already experienced these energies.

Neptune is a very spiritual and an all-encompassing planet; that is to say that it helps you understand how we are all connected (brothers and sisters to one another).  Neptune is a selfless sign and its energies often put us in other people’s shoes.  With Neptune’s influence, we will feel what others feel and can become quite intuitive either consciously or from an unconscious level.  We will likely have great empathy for the struggles others are going through and may wish to help in some way.  Charity work or working behind the scenes could be areas of interest.

As mentioned, Neptune is the most selfless sign in the zodiac and seldom wishes for anything in return.  There is no ego involvement when it comes to what Neptune stands for, and its work is done out of the goodness and through compassion which often builds over this period.  Those experiencing this aspect will feel for those less fortunate and may even connect so strongly for those going through challenging times that they take on their energies and have a difficult time moving away from these intuitive insights.

Quite often, under this influence, the mystical door opens and those that have never walked this road may suddenly find themselves interested in such things as psychic revelations and the spiritual movement.  Some turn to religion, both traditional and otherwise, feeling the need to go deeper within and examine life from a purely spiritual perspective.

For those already on this journey (many will have strong ties to the element water in their chart, such as Grand Water Trines, the Sun, Moon or Ascendant in either Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces) this will likely be an inspiring period.  Others may have a conglomeration of planets in the water houses (4, 8, 12).  We cannot forget the Moon in the twelfth house as it carries a Piscean influences.  The Sun in the fourth house would carry influences of Cancer and so forth.

This can certainly be an enlightening period in life and many changes take place shortly after this revelation as we also go through our Saturn return at approximately 59. 

Take everything in stride as it takes some time for our subconscious to reveal what takes place within.  Be prepared for an awakening of sorts and allow these energies full reign in order to experience the most energies possible under this influence.  For those individuals that have already experienced this trine from Neptune to itself, have you reflected on what has taken place?
