PSYCHIC POTENTIAL FOUND IN THE NATAL CHART

We are repeatedly asked if there is any links found in the birth chart indicating the potential for psychic abilities as well as any indicators for intuition.

It is believed by this Astrologer that all people have the potential to unlock psychic abilities, but it is imperative to believe that these are talents available within.  The birth chart does, however, indicate those individuals that may be able to utilize these abilities easier than most other individuals.

The following traits are normally found in birth chart of those with developed psychic abilities or potential.  We have also found that those not blessed with the following traits in their natal chart may have indicators through the progression of the planets at some point in their lives. 

Remember, however, the birth chart is a lifelong blueprint of your journey, forever unfolding.  You can overcome any challenging aspect found within the natal chart by promoting positive energies into your life through your focus and by utilizing the energies and trends offered during specific times in your life through such as transits and progressions.

It is more common for women to have more psychic characteristics than men.  In order to bring these abilities to the surface, we have to utilize our instincts and sensitivities.  Most women have, through their nurturing nature, developed these traits early in life.  This is not to say that men do not have these qualities, as today’s men are learning to develop their compassionate and sensitive side.  As a result, we are seeing more men enjoy their psychic abilities.

Quite often people with Grand Water Trines have psychic or intuitive abilities as their sensitivities are often not hindered.  Many people with a strong element of water in their charts, particularly Pisces and Scorpio, have links to psychic potential.  Sometimes those with the signs Aquarius and Sagittarius and the planets Uranus and Jupiter being strongly aspected especially by Neptune, the Sun or the Moon in their charts have these qualities.  Strong planetary links to the water houses (4, 8, 12) have the same potentials.

Ties to Neptune especially with Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, the Sun and the Moon often produce these qualities.  Pluto and Neptune in close sextile also often points in this direction.  Those with a North or South Node connected to Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer have these abilities.  The North Node suggests talents that have yet to develop but will be pushed to the surface in this life, while the South Node suggests that these psychic potentials were cultivated in a past life and are carried forward and are usable in this life.

Saturn to Neptune may steady the psychic abilities and keep the individual grounded.  Alternatively, it may suggest a hindrance or blockages in developing this potential.

Rising signs often carry potential for psychic abilities especially Pisces or close ties to Neptune of a positive nature (sextile, trine or perhaps the conjunction) to the Ascendant (Rising Sign).  Cancer rising can also suggest psychic abilities, often signifying strong mothering instincts and a nurturing personality.  The same potential exists with Scorpio rising (although the mothering is not as innate as those with Cancer) and those individuals having a strong tie to the planet Pluto.  As a result, they must watch for wanting to dominate this God-given talent, as misuse can create blockages.

As you see, there are many links associated with the easy flow of psychic potential and intuition. The more these characteristics are found in your birth chart, the stronger the potential for easy development.  The greatest wall against psychic abilities is fear or those that seek power and dominance through their potential.

This potential is a gift that should be used for the greater good.

YESTERDAY'S PROMISE

Let us not forget what was in place so few days ago but we are not meant to reside in the past.  We are here to build on what is. 

Some of us have to practice a little harder at letting go.  What once was is simply a steppingstone to today.  We will build our tomorrows on what we put in place today.  Our future is not some bewildering idea or concept.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE NATAL MARS

As Neptune transits through our natal chart, it will be important to ensure that what we are experiencing as a result of Neptune’s energies is not coloured by our imagination.  Neptune has been known, on occasion, to infiltrate our subconscious and to create flawed notions.  Reality needs to be sought after and, in some cases, it is wise to go outside of self to confirm our ideas or thoughts.

On the other hand, Neptune is also linked to mystical inspiration and intuitive insight.  It is also noted that in some cases Neptune is tied to transcendence and has often been noted to enhance our ability to analyse dreams.  Dream work comes through Neptune’s inspirational energies.

Mars is known as being somewhat malefic in its energies and is often associated with aggression, violence and nasty behaviour.   Mars is also tied closely to action and the ability to push ahead regardless of intrusion.  Mars is our energy and our drive, and much can be accomplished when using its energies wisely.  We need the energies of Mars in order to achieve and maintain momentum.  Mars has also been associated with sexual activity and is an ongoing agent in the pursuit of sexual fulfillment.

When we combine the energies of transiting Neptune and the position of Mars in our natal chart when in trine to one-another, the energies of Neptune can produce a mystical approach.  We may find that our energies are tied to spiritual endeavours and we can have psychic experiences if we are open to them. 

Neptune is also strongly tied to charity such as helping others in need without general concern for what we get in return.  Ego does not have a place when it comes to Neptune and its vital forces.

Trines are favourable and generally create an easy flow without many obstacles.  Trines are what we wait for in life and they often speak of positive influences and potential for rewarding experiences.  This is rarely tied to business transactions unless of course this is indicated in the birth chart by house position or other factors.  Even if this is the case, we will work for the general good of all involved or at least we should be.

If there is a sexual encounter with this aspect, there might be something mystical or spiritual involvement and the relationship will likely be magical in some way.  In some cases, these relationships seem to take place at the perfect time, when some assistance in some way is needed.  This can be from one or both people involved in this union.  Neptune and Pisces have been associated with a martyr complex.

Since Neptune is tied to the unknown, in many cases due to the epidemic taking hold in our lives, those with this placement may have a stronger resistance to this virus.  Mars will push and fight when it is needed and can present strong resilience unless there are other factors in the chart suggesting something different.  The full chart must always be reviewed for a clear and concise picture.

Neptune can be quite illusive and often hidden matters are part of the Neptunian profile so those with this placement can work diligently towards uncovering potential remedies.

Mars and Neptune can bring a sense of hope although persistent effort will be required, and a realistic approach is needed.

LIFE AND LIVING

As we work our way through our current situation, many have mentioned that fear seems to dictate their every move. 

We have to come to terms with our unfolding story. 

Will we build our world on what is considered our requirements? 

Do we let the concern for others slide as we become more and more focused on our own safety? 

Do we matter more than others? 

Is our quest now just to simply survive?

We are experiencing our current situation in order to move us in a certain direction.  Life happens for a reason and if we are to learn from this, what are we here to change? 

Change begins with each and every one of us.  Many of us, other than essential workers, certainly now have time for reflection.  How have we been living our lives?  What needs to change and what will we be like when this whole experience is over? 

Will we be a new person or will we slip back into the exact same attitudes and responses we had prior to this epidemic?  Do we really want to go back to the old “normal”?

This can be a massive life changing experience which we all share.  How we respond will affect more than just ourselves.  Any act of kindness and any show of love can help those caught up in the stress and fear of “what ifs”.  Many of us practice mindfullness and understand that we cannot get caught up in concentrated negativity as it only builds more of this energy.  At the same time, we understand acceptance and that just as our minds can create negativity, it too can create a more positive outlook.  We can manage our thoughts and not react.  We understand that focus is important regardless of how life is evolving around you. 

Worry and stress fragment our peace and inner contentment.  We have the power to rise above this situation.  Live in the moment as truly this moment is all we have. 

Were we previously too focused in the future?  Were we too focused in the past?  Were we too focused on ourselves?  Each of us will have a different answer.

Perhaps we are now here to push ahead with our connectedness, with the understanding that we are all one.  We are all the same after all.  Age, sex, race, religion, location…none of these make a difference. 

What are the lessons were are learning right now? 

Each of us can reach out and create a shift in our own little corner of the world.

A HEALTHY CONSTITUTION IN THE NATAL CHART

Amid worries and concerns due to the corona virus, we thought that it might be appropriate to provide a few details that determine under most conditions, good health indicators within the natal profile.  It should be understood that these conditions within the chart can be mitigated by other influences also found in the chart.  Rather than have people concerned about indicators of ill health found in the natal chart, we thought it more appropriate to discuss the more positive aspects related to the natal profile and potential.

Health indicators can be found in several different areas of the natal chart; however challenging transits can influence some of these conditions, although the natal chart is our foundation.  A favourable natal chart can diminish challenging transits.

In general, what we are about to discuss will help to some degree understand the workings of health indicators found in the natal chart.  It should be noted that positive attitude regardless of what the chart suggests can affect our lives in a very constructive way. 

The Sun, the Ascendant, the sixth and twelfth houses are the prime indicators dealing with health.  A transiting outer planet moving through or connected to one of these positions in hard aspect does not indicate poor health.  There must be several indicators pointing in the same direction to have an overall impact on the health of all individuals.

The Sun is our vital energy along with Mars.  If one or both of these planets are connected positively by trine or sextile, this would be considered favourable.  Jupiter and Venus would likely be a positive influence especially if connected by trine or sextile.  Even the conjunction can be favourable.  In many cases almost any connection from Jupiter to the Sun is considered a positive aspect. 

Exercise and healthy eating habits will be foremost in our overall health (as well as hand washing and social distancing currently).  We need to live healthy to assist our opportunistic aspects and planet positions which indicate good health.  We always have a hand in our life.

Mars is our energy and drive.  If connected positively to the sixth house or ruling the sixth house and in favourable aspect, Mars’ energy can be complimentary as well.  If the Sun rules or is found in the sixth house and favourably aspected within the natal chart, this can also be considered favourable.  Mars is considered a malefic planet but if favourably connected, it does not have to be perceived in this manner. 

You will also have to have a look at the sixth house ruler and how it is aspected; if it receives favourable aspects from other planets in the natal profile, this can also be viewed as a positive indicator of an ability to overcome illness. 

Beyond these pointers, you will also have to take into consideration age as this plays a significant role in this delineation. 

A well aspected Ascendant will help with any recovery from illness and if Mars is closely conjunct and favourably aspected, it can often speak of a strong resilience or fight for survival.  This will be aided by strong positive aspects from other planets as well. 

Saturn in positive aspect can indicate a strong constitution and a well aspected Mercury provides resilience when it comes to dealing from a mental perspective to illness.  

A strong Pluto gives powerful recovery potential as well as an ability to regenerate from many illnesses.

Strong emphasis in the eighth house is often a positive indicator of resilience and recuperative abilities.  The twelfth house is more tied to chronic conditions and this current Covid 19 is not considered chronic and will eventually pass. 

It is important to have a healthy lifestyle.  Alcohol and drug addiction, sometimes connected to the twelfth house and the sign Pisces, makes the body more susceptible, so perhaps some of us will need to make alterations at this time.

Challenges will often make us look a little deeper into our life and we may decide to make positive changes as a result of this pandemic.  There are always valuable lessons to be learned and this certainly is a good time to reflect.  In many cases, these periods point out our resilience and perseverance abilities.  We are stronger than we think and together we can aid each other in many ways. 

In short, this is a transformation agent at work on the deepest levels and what we do with this energy now and in the future speaks in volumes on what we are learning and how we might move forward.

FINANCIAL CONCERNS VERSES HEALTH CONCERNS

Much has been said about our faltering economy and the current turmoil with our stock markets around the world.  There is little doubt that life will be altered significantly in some form or another after this storm passes. 

What will our world look like and how will we rebound? 

Many have been laid off and many closures.  Shut downs seem to be the answer to ensuring safe distancing and to contain the spread of this invisible threat. 

Some in power are suggesting that everyone return to work before we have won the battle.  They say it can kick start the economy.  Perhaps this is true but at what cost?  In reality, we really do not know what impact will be experienced financially.

Are we willing to let those that are susceptible to this virus be exposed for the sake of money? 

Perhaps we need to go beyond our own financial concerns and reach out with a helping hand for those that are struggling through care, support and love. 

We can all lend a helping hand in some fashion or another.  It is the time to make sacrifices for the greater good.  Who wants to be the individual responsible for saying who should live and who should not?

In many ways, the control of this invisible threat is out of our hands and what unfolds over time will take place, with or without our consent.   We do, however, have control over our actions that can affect the choice of putting human life ahead of money.  We can make choices that benefit mankind.  Our financial resources will eventually rebound and eventually our world financially will march on. 

The interesting question is what will we learn from this experience?

We now realize how precious, yet fragile, life truly is.  This threat does not care what colour our skin is, what we believe, how much we have in our bank account, what year we were born, what country we live in.  We are all experiencing the same threat. 

We are truly one people, all brothers and sisters.  We are all here for a short time in the grand scheme of things and experiencing life through our own involvement and attitude.  Finances are secondary to life itself.  We can’t replace a life nor can money make up for a loss.

Sometimes life dictates and we just ride along its wave.  Our attitude has a significant role in how life affects us at any time.  Rise above the threat.  Find your inner strength.  Do your part and experience your life as it unfolds.  Love one another and have faith in the ongoing process.

PLUTO THE TRANSFORMING AGENT

Pluto over the next year or so will be between 22-26 degrees in the sign of Capricorn.  There is little doubt that Pluto’s influence is upon us at this current time. 

Jupiter makes close contact (conjunction aspect) right to the end of the year also being found in the sign of Capricorn. 

Capricorn’s energies have to do with business and enterprise and work in a slow rather meticulous manner as they incorporate and align through diligent efforts on our part.

Jupiter under all conditions tends to exaggerate and exemplify anything it touches.  It builds and offers growth and often suggests opportunities and potential luck.  It expands on things and in challenging situations can expand on this as well.  However, Jupiter will often produce opportunistic outcome when it peaks.  This may not seem like an opportune time in our lives, but if you were to look at life’s situations from a mystical or spiritual perspective, Jupiter’s expansive forces could be seen as a teaching opportunity or tool.

Pluto will regenerate and transform business over time due to its placement in Capricorn, but it also makes things tumultuous and there are no half measures with Pluto.  It tears down what is no longer suitable and ends these conditions and then rebuilds from the ashes of what used to be.  Pluto has been known to be the aggressor and the changes being enforced through its relentless energies have to be accepted, as fighting the changes Pluto bring is often fruitless.

We know how currently this epidemic affects health and in a small percentage of cases kills the most vulnerable.  Pluto likely has its hand in this area as well.  However what Pluto does suggest is going within in a very deep and personal way.  It can force issues to the surface and push us to re-evaluate life’s conditions.  It can also push us to make changes to current conditions that halt progress often through means from an unconscious source. 

The changes are often subtle, at first asking for your attention and then they push with more force and intent.  This creates action on our part. 

These transformations are at hand because they need to be (we are not just referring to the pandemic.  We are referring to this aspect as a whole).  This is personal as well as universal as this conjunction affects everyone throughout the world.  We can ask ourselves what needs revamping and what are we willing to change in order to come out the other side more reflective and deeper in self-understanding.

What we do with these energies will always be up to us personally.  Our attitudes play a significant role in the teachings coming into our lives at this point in time.  To get a clearer picture of how these energies are playing out in your life particularly, have a look at which house the planets are transiting through in your Astrology chart and also look to see if there are any aspects between these two planets and how they link up in your personal chart.  Are either of these planets in aspect to other planets in your natal chart?  These focuses will assist in the delineation process.

Remember life always points us in the direction most suitable for our evolution even when we don’t see how this could possibly manifests.
