TRANSITING PLUTO CONJUNCT NATAL SUN

Currently transiting Pluto is in around 24 degrees Capricorn and will remain in the sign of Capricorn until March 2023 when it enters Aquarius. Pluto will then move into retrograde motion in June 2023 and will re-enter Aquarius once again in January, 2024.  Pluto will go retrograde one more time in June of 2024 and then stays in the sign of Aquarius in late 2024 and will not return to Capricorn again.

Those with their Sun in Capricorn in the late teen degrees and into the twenties will be experiencing this transit over this time frame depending on the degree of the Sun.  Capricorn has a great deal to do with business and enterprise and often speaks of a person who works their way up the corporate ladder of success.  If this is not in business ventures then it can be in personal goals, but whatever the objective those affected wish to succeed and will usually work diligently towards their goals.

Pluto has to do with transformation and change often through dynamic interchange and in many cases, what was in place prior to the meeting of the Sun and Pluto will go through major changes.  Things are likely to change with such intensity that after this period is over, a new direction will be at hand.  Pluto transforms, regenerates and with the Sun will revitalize life’s conditions in a way that is required from a higher perspective. 

Pluto is dynamic and the change is usually total, and, in many cases, something must die for something new to begin.  Checking the placement of the Sun by house position and aspects from the natal placements will provide the individual with insight into what areas of life are involved and how intense this change will be.

If for example the Sun is connected to the Ascendant, then the change is quite personal, and others will take note of what is taking place.  This may involve the individual expression, the relationship and business.  If for example the conjunction occurred on or near the MC then the change would take the form of dynamic changes to the occupation or life’s status and which in turn can affect our goals and aspirations along with the home and family.  The second house would filter into the finances and personal security matters.  The fifth can include your children, your creative expression, love affections and the enjoyment of life.  The seventh would include the marriage relationship and business partnership, while the twelfth house can include the mystical side of life and in rare cases places of confinement such as hospitals and prisons.  These are just quick references and the whole chart would have to be deciphered to get a clearer view of what might be in store.

This conjunction under most conditions is very powerful and will change life’s direction but it should be noted that although the transformation may be total in many ways and somewhat intrusive, it is a requirement of the soul as it will revamp anything that now needs it.  Move through these changes with little resistance as in many cases resistance is futile and only creates stress.  Know that whatever the changes are they are now needed.  Work with this energy.

OFF COURSE

We all veer off path from time to time or so it feels.  These apparent distractions are in fact in line with what is required at that particular point in time.  You could consider these rest periods, verification of your intended course, a time to re-evaluate your current course, etc.  So in fact, varying from your intended course is in fact not only necessary but a requirement of the soul to put you on the path that is relevant at this time or to confirm that you are exactly where you need to be.

These periods may seem like setbacks.  Much depends on your attitude towards what is transpiring and what you choose to do with the information that you receive.  You could choose to ignore what is being presented, examine your present situation to figure out how to move forward or you could choose to make some changes or change direction completely.  Your path is always in your hands, but it is essential to recognize that whatever you decide to do, there are no wrong turns in life.

There are short paths and there are long paths but all paths lead to your ultimate destination.  If you feel as though you are off path, take the time to understand why you are feeling the way you do and what alternate plans you could adhere to so that you feel as though you are more comfortable with where you are.  It is a natural process.  Sometimes is feels as though life gets in the way but remember we are here to live in human form.

If you feel you are off course, do not be dismayed.  Reassess where you are heading.  Make minor adjustments if you feel it is necessary and be comfortable with your journey.  Do not worry about the speed of your progress.  Take advantage of the rest periods and then set sail towards your destination with vigour and determination.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE SQUARE SATURN

When will you have transit Neptune square to Saturn in your chart?  This can be a difficult one.  Saturn’s energy deals with structure, discipline, organization and development in the “real world”.  Neptune will interfere with these structures as it does not have boundaries and can be illusive in its nature.  Neptune tests your sense of reality and obstructs your view, making your life’s direction seem unclear and even unreliable.  You may feel quite lost under this influence and you may question whether or not you are on the right path. 

These energies can be upsetting.  Often negative feedback and feelings of insecurity disrupt what could have been a familiar and solid base.  This can lead to depression and even bouts of bewilderment.  Under this influence, you may wonder how you can get back on your path again.  You may feel as though even the solid facts you once held dear to you are slipping away and you may even question if your belief structures were ever accurate at all. 

Do not be led astray by the mind’s interference and know that this fog will clear.  Once this transit has completed its course you will find that you are even more surefooted because you took the time to question things.  Questioning anything in life certainly has benefits.

The greatest problem that will be faced is your lack of self-confidence and anyone who does not stand by your side during this time might best be released from your close circle of friends.  You need assistance from those around you and people will come to your assistance and help lead you out of this un-ordered structure.  Life can be trying unless you learn to let go a little and let your gut and higher forces be your guide.

Neptune can be quite insistent that you create a spiritual/mystical connection.  Because of this the door may open for you under this influence although not without some initial struggle.  Watch for allowing your imagination to try to force things to happen.  Make sure you are seeing things clearly.  You can work your way through this cloudy period and with tools such as meditation practices, you will find the answers but these answers may not be what you are hoping to hear. If your wish is to find material comforts and any earth related adventures, these will be anything but satisfying.  This is an ego check aspect and you are learning about faith and letting go of control during this time.  This is not to say that you are giving up on life.  Far from it!  What you are doing is allowing spirit to take a leading role in your life, as this is especially important with this aspect.

Find out what you need to let go of or release during this aspect, specifically in a material way.  You will notice that material security does not stand up to the insistent calling of your spiritual nature and the awakening that is taking place in your life.  This can be quite the enlightening time if you take the necessary steps and simply allow.  Take in the lessons being taught and know that the unsettled, stressful feelings are temporary.  You will find what you are looking for as time passes. 

Be patient and believe in yourself.  You will come out the other side as this planetary connection more knowledgeable about who you are and your inner strength will push you through.

NEW MOON MAY 22, 2020

We are experiencing a conjunction of the Sun and Moon on May 22, 2020.  All conjunctions of these two celestial bodies are known as a New Moon. 

On May 22, 2020, these two luminaries are found in Gemini at 2 degrees.  Check to see which house this positioning is found in your natal chart, as this will be the area of life influenced by this New Moon for you on a personal level.  Check if there are any natal planets making tight aspects to this positioning for further information.  Without close contacts by natal planets, this New Moon may not be overly significant in your life.

New Moons have potential for new beginnings.  This is the time to plant the seeds that will germinate over the next month or so.  Much will depend on how well these energies are nurtured and without nurturing and care, the energies will not develop to their full potential.  Action and dedication are essential for development.

With a New Moon in the sign of Gemini there should be a degree of intellectual stimulation about whatever idea you may want to explore.  Communication is highlighted and conversation is suggested.  Ideas may stem from others and generate favourable outcomes as you prepare to move ahead.  It is important to go slowly, to make up your mind and then stick with your goal.  Gemini tends to flit from one thing to another and then will not be prepared to take advantage of the timing available. 

The intellect is stimulated, and you can learn a great deal at this time.  Sharing your information as well as taking in other people’s ideas is suggested.  Together you may create something substantial.

Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto are all making trines to this conjunction of the Sun and Moon, although by degree only Saturn will have an affect on what this New Moon’s energies.  Jupiter and Pluto are both in retrograde and Jupiter is separated by 5 degrees while Pluto is separated by 8 degrees, an orb of no more than 3 degrees is the usual allowable influence.  Saturn is close, only out by minutes to this placement and it is a favourable trine aspect.  Saturn is in Aquarius although it goes retrograde once more on May 11.  Saturn retrograde is more favourable than when it is in its direct motion.

Saturn will offer up opportunities and easy flow to this placement and will stabilize things, adding reliability and structure to what you are trying to set into motion.  Saturn, however, is the teacher and always suggests that hard work and discipline are part of the equation.  Check to see which house Saturn is in your natal chart as well as aspects it sends to planetary placements in the chart.  More information will be gained by reviewing these details.

OUR OFFERING

What can you do to help alleviate challenges that affect you and those individuals who are important to you? 

What is your purpose at this time and how will you manage to move in your intended direction? 

How we live our lives now is a direct reflection of who we are on the inside and where we hope to be furthering our growth in the near or distant future.  It is not a question of what I can do for myself although we certainly have to take into consideration what our needs are.  We can’t assist others before we take steps to remedy uncertainty within ourselves, but we are here to facilitate healing in all that surrounds us including this world at large.

Material goals have, under most conditions, been put on hold and many have come to the conclusion that what we have is far greater than what we need.  Right now, the basic necessities are what are required although finances are certainly a part of that equation.  Yes, we are learning to live with less and spending is not a priority, at least for most of us.  Our life structure is under close scrutiny and we now recognize the significance of family and friends.  In many ways we are alone at this time and this presents a wonderful time for reflection.

If we are capable, this is a time of helping those that are needy and we are using a very broad definition here.  We can offer our support and let others know that we stand by them and that they are not alone, even though they physically may be by themselves.  We can let them know we care and that we miss them and that they are important to us.  Those that struggle with fear we can help them in whatever way we can with their fears. 

We are stronger than most of us give ourselves credit for.  We can keep moving through this.  We can assist others by being their guiding light.  We can be an example of strength for those that feel weak and help them to ignite their own internal flame.

Be strong; be resilient.  Know that this too will pass and that eventually we will be able to be with each other again.  Your show of strength and assistance will be remembered. 

Be the light, be the reflection of truth and bring positivity into the world through whatever means you can.

THE ABSENCE OF SPECIFIC ASPECTS IN THE BIRTH CHART

Planets in the natal or birth chart represent energies which are released through the houses (areas of life) in which the planets are located. 

When major aspects are missing in the birth chart, minor aspects can help to alleviate the missing energies which would otherwise be available if major aspects were in the chart.  When there are no sextiles or trines in a chart then quintiles, semi-sextiles and even a novile aspect can help compensate for these shortages.  When there is a lack of squares or oppositions, the semi-square and in many cases the inconjunct will help to offset this lack of energy.  There will, however, have to be several of these minor aspects in order to compensate for the major aspects that are missing.

Those individuals that are lacking in conjunctions (which bring emphasis into the area of life this aspect touches) have a challenging time focusing their energies, particularly when they are working on a project.  They have a tendency to become scattered and need a goal or purpose to focus their attention on.  Follow through is very important and this can be a challenge as these individuals may lose interest or be pulled in another direction before completing the task at hand.

Sextiles speaks of opportunities that come into life either through self-initiation or by life seemingly pointing us in the right direction.  They also stimulate mental activity and bring creative forces to the forefront.  With a lack of sextiles, many individuals find that they have to actively pursue intellectual activities and find ways unique to them to communicate these abilities.  Expressing themselves freely through communication will create a useful tool that can lead to accomplishments in life.  They need to talk to others to recognize opportunities coming into their life.

Squares tend to create difficulties and put stumbling blocks in the way so that we have to push ourselves and in turn, builds strength, endurance and nurture a belief in our own abilities to push through adversity in our lives.  Those that are lacking in squares tend to take the easy path rather than push through hardship for the purpose of growth.  When confronted with crisis, these individuals tend to have a difficult time adjusting or moving through the challenge.  They actually have to push themselves and find ways to overcome the adversities or lessons that stands in their way.  If they learn to push, they are able to face the challenging conditions that often come our way.

When trines are absent in a chart, these people tend to be faced with a lot of challenging conditions in life and use a lot of energy trying to adjust to these conditions and/or to repair the damage that sometimes occurs.  They use great energy during these periods often leaving them feeling worn out.  They need to go at life a little easier and find ways to relax and go with the flow even when life seems to be throwing hurtles their way.  Meditation and learning to move through life in a more temperate manner will do wonders for these individuals.

Oppositions always suggest that there are others who have an influence in the equation at hand.  When there is a lack of oppositions in the horoscope, these people are often quite in touch with themselves and they are comfortable meeting their own needs.  Sometimes these individuals become overly self-reliant and need to open the doors so that other people have an impact in their learning process as well.  Expanding their horizons by allowing others to assist in this process will widen their personal scope on most everything in life.  They should welcome a fresh look and a fresh idea.  There are times when others can help us develop into ourselves and those lacking Oppositions would benefit from this and not have such a limited perspective on who they think they are.

SUN IN GEMINI - MAY 20, 2020

The Sun moves into the sign of Gemini on May 20 this year (2020). 

An individual with an abundance of Gemini in their chart is an intellectually stimulated individual who in most cases enjoys a good conversation and is involved in the teachings of life.  Constant stimulus is important to the average Gemini and they can get bored quiet easily if nothing is happening. 

This current period in history may prove to be quite the lesson in patience.  Gemini individual have difficulty sitting back and moving a little slower.  They are not accustomed to this type of lifestyle.

Gemini is versatile and usually quite adaptable.  They enjoy change.  As long as life is continuously having events, things are interesting for them.  Even as children they want and need to be kept busy and got bored easily.  Provide them with books to read or even busy TV programmes and you will find that they are somewhat content. 

Gemini individuals will flit from one thing to another and could learn the art of finishing what they start.  This lesson goes well into adulthood and may be lifelong.  Try not to start something new until you have finished what you have started.

As mentioned, good conversation as well as teaching or being taught something that they consider important is right up a Gemini’s alley.  They would make good tabloid writers, good teachers, perhaps even political analysts, as they know how to change the course of conversation and most people find them quite interesting.  These individuals have much knowledge on many different subjects.  They could make good consultants, counselors, and mediators.

Saturn will be making a trine for those with their Sun in the early degree of Gemini into the early part of 2021 and then eventually to those in the mid degrees of Gemini and finally those with the later Sun degrees of Gemini.  Saturn adds stability and structure, and this might be something that an Gemini individual needs.  Saturn is reliable and with a disciplined effort and constancy, they can go far, although this might be a little challenging for the typical Gemini.  Saturn will make them jump through hurtles and they certainly cannot cut any corners.  As you can imagine, this will be difficult for your typical Gemini.

If some of these character traits do not suit your Gemini self, you may have other mitigating or stronger character traits linked to other signs in your chart.  If, for example, someone has the Sun in Gemini, but they have several planets in Capricorn or in the 10 house this would certainly soften some of the typical Gemini characters.  It is always suggested that you investigate all the different aspects within the natal chart before you dismiss some of the typical character traits associated with any sign.
