WHAT IS YOUR APPROACH TO THIS SITUATION?

There certainly seems to be a division between two different paths of thinking with our current pandemic.  There are individuals who believe that all that is transpiring is a conspiracy that threatens mankind’s way of life.  It is believed that we are being dictated to and that the masses are being herded like sheep around a virus that is no more deadly than the common flu.  On the other side, there are individuals who believe the restrictive rules are essential to protect themselves and others from that which they believe is a threat to mankind as a whole. 

No matter what your beliefs are, it is imperative that you do not get caught up in the fear.  Living in stress and fear can create depression and the feeling of having little control in what is being manifested in our lives. 

Some individuals have expressed constant worry and anxiety over the fact that they may become sick and pass.  Some individuals have express the fear of repression and will take their chances with the virus to rally against the government and their underhanded plans.  Unfortunately both sides of this thinking can be extreme in their thinking and it is creating a divide amongst the masses. 

We can honour each other and allow.   Respect always has its place.  Living in gratitude for whatever we have in our lives honours our existence.  Honouring our differences is what eliminates fear, depression, emotional and mental fatigue, anxiety.  These are the enemy.   

Is this pandemic a wakeup call to take a second look at how we are living our lives? 

If our beliefs cannot hold up under the stress of our current situation than these beliefs are not viable. 

Maybe we have been afforded the opportunity to make a difference through love and caring. 

So many people are stepping up to make a difference.  Celebrities are offering free concerts and fundraisers from the safety of their homes.  Horse owners are visiting retirement and nursing homes with their horses to cheer those living there.  In many ways, many people are placing themselves second to the needs of those around them and living their life with great passion and concern for others.  They believe that the greatest lessons come from adversity and do not struggle with what might be.  They live for today and do what they can to help others.  They are the examples for others to step up and through love walk through this difficult lesson no matter what side of the fence we are on.

Do not allow yourself to be swept away with fear.  The healthy alternative is to live by acts of love and compassion.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE NATAL MERCURY

Transiting Neptune has several reputations and much depends on the planet it is aspecting or the type of aspect it is making.  For example, there is a huge difference between Neptune in square and Neptune in trine or Neptune in opposition or in conjunction to an angle or planet in a chart.  Each of these will vary greatly in flow.

Neptune in favourable aspect such as a trine can work in a very giving fashion which can be linked to spirituality or service of some sort.  Neptune is spiritual in nature and naturally rules the 12^th house which has to do with places of confinement, spiritual enlightenment and has to do with issues that we would rather not deal with so we tend to sweep them under the proverbial rug.

Mercury relates to communication and insight especially when connecting to Neptune and in general rules our thought processing. 

Together, with Neptune in favourable aspect, the energies flow well, and conversations may be quite insightful and often brings ideas to mind that can be used in charitable ways.  Neptune is linked to giving as mentioned, but this giving is not measured or never wants anything in return for what it does.  The rewards often make their way forward through channels connected to higher learning sometimes related to the mystical side of life.

This aspect is a time for making your dreams come to fruition especially those based without ego.  The mental processing is highly attuned, and insight and vision are often part of the equation.  Spiritual writing and public speaking linked to the psychic realm is often part of the process as it unfolds.  Neptune can open the door to insight and imagination for those who as so attuned. 

Neptune can make things vague or unclear but not likely with the trine.  Trines are what we wait for and their energies lean towards easy flow, creating opportunities and ease in obtaining benefits.

You will need to check the houses involved and you might want to see if this placement of Neptune forms a Grand Trine, which involves three planets or significant point all trine to one another.  Grand Water trines are known for their mystical insight and intuitive opening.  They also provide us with self-reliance especially when it comes to emotional situations.  The houses will help you understand which areas of life these free-flowing positive energies are working in for your particular case as indicated by your chart.

SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE, JUNE 5, 2020 @ 3:12 p.m. EDT

A Full Moon is the harvest time of seeds planted during a previous New Moon.  It is a time when we reap what we have sown and either advance our cause or make significant changes or maybe even begin anew. 

An eclipse adds intensity to what the Full Moon’s energies are about.  Many individuals fear an eclipse due to the reputation of bringing a crisis to the surface or creating a significant change.  However, it should be noted that these changes or so-called crisis can be quite productive and positive in nature depending how they are affecting your personal natal chart planets and points by aspect.

This eclipse takes place in the sign of Sagittarius which is often linked to growth and learning potential.  Sagittarius’ ruling planet, Jupiter, is also tied into the equation and often brings good luck and fortunate conditions into place.  An optimistic approach is often highlighted, and it is best to view life’s situations in this light regardless of how life currently looks. 

Sagittarius is growth oriented and teaches us about spirituality and religious.  Its energies are positive and reminds us that something good is always just around the next corner.

Transiting Mars and transiting Venus join in this eclipse with Mars (the planet of aggression and drive) squares this position at 15 degrees Pisces while Venus is in opposition to the Moon.  The square from Mars can indicate some struggles along the way where forceful or assertive energies are in place.  Squares indicate obstruction and obstacles to overcome. 

Venus on the other hand while in opposition brings romance and relationships into the forefront of what is taking place.  Oppositions always involve others and in many cases these individuals are the ones pushing and adding something that propels us into action due to the square from Mars.  Squares are irritating enough that they force us into taking some action to alleviate these conditions.  Without squares we may stagnate and become complacent. 

Much, of course, will depend on the placement of the Sun and Moon by house position while transiting through your personal chart.  These are the areas of life that will be part of the unfolding story.  Those with planets or angles between 12 to 20 degrees in a mutable sign will be influenced far greater than other people who do not have placements in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. 

This is a significant placement for those influenced.  Those individuals that do not have major factors in their charts this eclipse might slip by with little notice.

This is a question we ask ourselves throughout our lives.  We question whether or not we are living up to our potential and living our life as best we can.

PROGRESSED SUN CONJUNCT THE MIDHEAVEN OR ASCENDANT

The progressed Sun moves one degree per year.  Its influence will be in effect for three years and can be felt as much as one and one-half degrees before it becomes direct and the same period after it moves away from being exact.  The progressed Sun, just as in the natal chart, has to do with ambition, power and authority.  It also governs our vitality and the ability to recuperate from illnesses.  It often identifies the masculine partner in a woman’s chart or the father as well as authority figures in life such as your superiors within the working environment, but it could also be directly related to you.

When the progressed Sun is in conjunction with the natal ascendant, it can be a time of advancement in life on many levels.  This could include favourable opportunities for change in life and opportunities for inner achievement and outer success.  It could also mean potential for meeting someone in life that has a great influence on you and will teach you many life lessons.  It could also suggest that the father (or masculine parent) or in some cases a son has these opportunities.   These influences are on a positive note if there are other conditions within the chart that suggest similar opportunities.

The progressed Sun on the Ascendant often implies that health is robust and feelings linked to good health are often a by-product.  Much depends on the influence of other transits and progressions affecting the Ascendant during its three year period.

When the progressed Sun is in conjunction to the Midheaven depending on the age of the individual they may find advancement opportunities in the occupation or may graduate from University.  Some of life’s objectives often materialize when the progressed Sun reaches this degree.  More opportunities for hopes and wishes to manifest are often indicated when the Progressed Sun reaches the MC.  Changes of a positive sort to status may occur or present themselves.  Much depends on the natal potential, but the time is ripe for opportunities to enhance the career or move ahead in life under this influence.

If the Progressed Sun were conjunct the MC it would also be in opposition to the IC often suggesting changes to the home environment and family members.  Oppositions usually imply actions from someone else and this could suggest that a son or possibly a daughter might move from home especially if Venus or Mars is somehow connected to this position.  There may be potential for income or opportunities involving the home.  More potential is suggested when the Progressed Sun is in conjunction to the IC, as conjunctions offer more opportunities than oppositions.  Oppositions often suggest reversals or challenging conditions that often stem from others.

When deciphering the Progressed Sun always take into consideration the natal potential and transits and progressions to the chart as a whole.  Remember there has to be three or more aspects with similarities in their energies to stimulate an event, either through transit or progression.  The more aspects involved the greater the possibility for an event to occur.

FOREVER STRENGTHENING

We can easily get so caught up in the current virus situation and we tend to forget about the less talked about pressures that many individuals are going through.  There is still mass starvation, droughts, forest fires, abuse, hate crimes etc. taking place on a grand scale.  We need to remember these and do what we can to assist those in need around the world.

We all walk this road together which is even more evidence today than ever.  We share our uncertainty and fear but hold our heads high and are forever strengthening our resolve to not only defeat what presents itself to us, including this virus, but to rise above it and to continue to feel and appreciate our inner connectedness with all living things.  We are not weakening even though some feel this way.  We can continue to assist those in need, even if our only ability is to show caring and give love and be compassionate. 

Hold on to the precious part of “you” that can transcend anything.  Be true to your calling now more than ever as we are all being tested on one level or another. 

We are resilient and will overcome however that may look.  The more individuals that believe this, the greater the reach.  It is and always will be in our hands.  We can rise to the occasion.

TRANSITING URANUS SQUARE NATAL MERCURY

During the upcoming year transiting Uranus in the sign of Taurus will be moving between 6-12 degrees.  Those with their natal Mercury in the sign of Leo or Aquarius allowing an 8 degrees orb will be experiencing this square.  We will not be going into the difference between Mercury the planet of the mind and communication in these two signs, but we will discuss how Uranus can affect Mercury when in the square aspect.

Uranus’ energies are about change of direction often experienced through sudden or unexpected events.  This change of direction is often related to the need for something new to take the place of something that no longer serves a viable purpose.  Uranus has to do with upheaval and awakening and works in ways that will push you in directions that are now more appropriate for your personal growth than what was previous to this time.

Mercury has to do with the process of thinking, how the mind works and your communication techniques.  Since Mercury is now being aspected in a challenging manner through the energies of Uranus you can expect a change of direction associated with patterns of thinking and how you have been living your life.  You may be experiencing a new way of looking at your life and those around you.  You may find that the direction is quite different from where it may have been prior to this time.  This can run deep and be of a profound influence.

Your whole pattern of relating to life may be subject to scrutiny and change, and you may find that there are ways of dealing with life’s matters that are easier to follow although the change of direction may be somewhat challenging and disruptive.  There is an awakening of sorts taking place on many levels currently, and we are all experiencing some disruption on our own level and belief structure. 

The change, although challenging, forces you into action and makes you adjust so that life looks different.  You may find ways that help you deal with any adversity or you may find that life has become so tedious that you feel forced to look for new ways of looking at things.  In most cases the energies are not subtle, and you may have been preparing for this change for some time without really realizing it.  The change is quite necessary and will lift you out of complacency and shift your focus in a new direction that is much more suitable for you and your future.  This can be disruptive, and the change may cause some concern but rest assured that it is necessary, and the shift is due.
