THOSE WAITING ON THE OTHER SIDE

 There are many of us that have had the pleasure of visitations from those on the other side.  It is actually more common than you would think.  We have been told of many instances of contact from family members, close friends, guides and even strangers.  They instances have even been shared by even individuals who claim to be nonbelievers and they cannot explain what they experienced.

 

It seems that these experiences are becoming more commonplace.  Why does the line of connection seem stronger? 

 

It is believed that the human race as a collective group is evolving into a new consciousness.  In years gone by, many people may have kept their experiences to themselves due to fear of being diagnosed as delusional.  Most people now are more comfortable to speak of their experiences.

 

Our loved ones are not far away.  Many feel this connection and many have shared their experiences of feeling the presence of loved ones as well.  Some individuals believe that this is another reality or another dimension in time and space which very close to our own.  Those of us sensitive enough to the energies can pick up the subtle vibrations of those on the other side, whatever the other side may be.

 

Some people have shared their experiences of being with a loved one and witnessing their passing over.  These individuals, have shares that there is a sensation of anticipation and almost that something is about to happen.  Some have shared seeing a grayish-blue smoky material being released from the body as these individuals pass.  Others have shares that they saw a light leave the body.  There is no doubt when someone has passed over, as there is an emptiness about the body they have left behind and there is no doubt that their presence or energy is gone.

 

It has been said that others are waiting their arrival and that those that leave us behind will be waiting for us upon our passing. 

 

Our essence does not cease when we leave this material world. 

 

On our passing, do we then awaken from our earthly life?  Do we return to the place we left when we entered this physical life?

 

It is apparent that we are evolving in consciousness on a global level.  Transition is always painful and many feel this shift.  We will not truly know what happens upon our passing until we awaken into our true spiritual beings.

 

Allow the truth to find you, simply by being open and letting go of control, at least on this spiritual quest. 

 

The door opens as we are ready for it to open.  No push can make this take place any earlier than when it is suppose to happen.  Seeking love and making connections, opens the door to perception.  Being open can support connections with our loved ones that have passed over.  They are waiting just on the other side.  

 

Live your material life to its fullest.  Be open and do not take any short cuts.  Live out your life knowing that although life as we know it will end someday, life itself is perpetual.   While you are here, be in the moment for the moment is life itself. 

 

Our friends and family are always with us.  We are never alone.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT NATAL MOON

 Transiting Neptune has been moving back and forth into retrograde and then going direct since the spring of 2013.  When this post was written transiting Neptune was at 18 degree Pisces.  If you have the natal Moon within 5 degrees of this placement, the closer to exact the stronger, then Neptune will have had a profound effect on you or has had a profound effect on you during its contact.  You can feel the approach of Neptune up to 5 degrees, and it affects continue until it is 2-3 degrees separating.

 

Moon in Pisces is a very inspirational placement and most of the people that have this placement of the Moon have psychic inclinations and often prophetic dreams.  They are emotionally inclined to receive intuitive information from higher sources and are often visionaries.  They are emotionally receptive to the deeper dimensions and attuned to other people’s emotional responses.  Many Moon in Pisces individuals have a difficult time removing themselves from emotional interaction with those they respond to.  Those with the Moon in the twelfth house will also have some of these influences.

 

This is an intuitive placement for those so inclined. 

 

With this Pisceans influence, there can be a tendency to live in a dream world trying to escape the harsher side of life, often through alcohol and drugs. 

 

As the Moon governs the emotions, these individuals are wide open to self-examination, although understanding their emotional interaction can be difficult.  They have a deep-seated emotional nature.

 

Neptune is in its own sign in Pisces and is quite comfortable in this placement and when attached to the Natal Moon often brings Neptunian principles to the surface.  Many will have an involvement with mystical experiences and practices during this time and undergo emotional interactions with the spiritual realms.  If so inclined, this period will often produce profound effects and at times a link to the other spheres of experience not considered the norm.

 

Neptune will also colour the imagination and because it is linked to the Moon, people with Moon in these degrees in Pisces may have difficulty understanding their own emotional makeup.  They may react in ways different than they would customarily react and may become lost in their feelings. 

 

The houses involved with this conjunction will be the areas of life that are affected.  If for example, the conjunction occurs in the sixth house, these types of experiences will deal with the working environment, and their emotional health often connected to nutrition.   If this conjunction should occur in the fifth house, they may experience intuitive insights into love relationships and children or have difficulties seeing things clearly often putting these people, especially romantic entanglements, high on a pedestal.  After the transit has completed its course, they may see this individual in a much clearer light seeing them as they actually are. 

 

If Neptune is clouding their perception and emotional interaction with life, it is best that they have a second look and perhaps wait for clearer perception down the road when Neptune is out of range of the Moon.  If they are experiencing mystical insight and emotional interaction in the spiritual realms, this is the nature of Neptune in this placement and they should be paying close attention.  Is it telling them something?

 

Insight, intuition and emotional interaction will be highlighted during this time frame.  Much can be learned during this very significant period and these individuals can either rely on their emotional feedback or if they feel unsure then it is best to wait until the cloud of uncertainty evaporates. 

 

Check the aspects of the natal Neptune to see how it is affecting them.  If they have many challenging aspects, make sure what they are experiencing is real and watch for a lesson after this transit passes.  If their Neptune is well aspected then the insights might be on target.

 

You should also check to see where their Natal Neptune resides, as the house placement and sign placement will also provide you with details on what is taking place in their life.  In many cases the spiritual side of life is awakened and they can grasp its deeper meaning at this time.  Use this transit with this in mind.

BUILDING IN STRENGTH

Where are you in life’s journey?  How far have you come?  Do not judge the experience; just think of the life that has been experienced.

 

Now, ask yourself, what have you learned to date? 

 

How has it affected you? 

 

Do you feel stronger? 

 

Are you more in touch? 

 

Our inner core is always able to withstand any external stimuli.  It has great resilience and although there are times when we believe that we are descending, in reality, we are building that inner core.  I am not referring to our inner self or soul. The soul is always permanent and can be relied on at any time.  What I am referring to is the individual that you are building during the process of life.  I do not speak of the mind, as thoughts are generated through expectation or past experience.  I speak of the core that has experienced life and feels more adept at handling life’s lessons.

 

If you are currently feeling lost and out of control, remind yourself that this is temporary and that the fog will lift.  You will again see clearly and ultimately be stronger from this experience.  It may not feel like it at times, but these apparent tests are put in place for you to learn from and gain momentum in your pursuit of spiritual growth.  Just as with exercise, the muscle gets sore as we build them through the exercise.  You are constantly learning through life’s experience and growth occurs through these involvements.

 

Life is full of twists and turns.  Ride the wave.  Sometimes life moves along almost perfectly and other times life can be like a volcano either waiting to erupt or it can start to spew molten lava.  Remember these gather momentum and our thoughts and reactions form our emotional reality.  Practicing mindfulness and understanding the process alleviates many of the “hurts” in life.  You are learning to use the tools that are at your disposal and over time you will begin to use them much more frequently and with precision.  Life becomes easier because we have learned to use these tools.

You are equipped with sufficient inner resolve to overcome and grow through all of life’s lessons.  You are never at the mercy of life, but you are at the mercy of your thoughts and reactions.  Live in the moment.  Silence your mind.

 

Look at the blessings in your life.  Life is so very good in many, many ways.  Focus on these blessings.  Little by little you will see more and more of them.

GRAND TRINE

 The Grand Trine is a relatively common configuration.  It is divided into elements, Water, Fire, Air and Earth Grand Trines.  The Grand Trine consists of three planets or significant points (Midheaven, Ascendant) all linked together in trine to one another, separated each by 120 degrees.  You can allow an orb of 8 degrees when determining if the trine is part of this Grand Trine configuration.  For example, you have the Sun at 20 degrees Cancer, the Moon at 16 degrees Scorpio and the Ascendant at 23 degrees Pisces.  These three would be considered a Grand Water Trine.  These configurations make a triangle in the portrait of the birth time captured at moment of birth.

 

The strength of energy is increased the closer these trines are to being direct (120 degrees). 

 

For example, if all these planets and points are within 1-3 degrees in separation, the trine becomes a stronger influence in the life of the individual concerned.  The weakening of a Grand Trine happens when one of the planets or points is in a different element than the other two.  For example, the Sun in Cancer, the Moon in Scorpio and the rising sign being in Aries. 

 

The positive influences of the Grand Trine include free energy flow which in turn assists in gaining benefits and also inherent good luck seems to follow these individuals, particularly when the Grand Trine is activated through transit or progression.  They seem to have more prospects than most other people and attract good fortune and opportunities into their lives easily, in areas related to the element the Grand Trine is in.  For example, a person with a tight Grand Earth Trine especially if it connected to the Midheaven or Ascendant and Venus or Jupiter will have more opportunities to move ahead in their life endeavours related to finances, business and occupation than the average person.

 

Grand Trines, however, also have a negative connotation to them often because the energies flow so well that the individual can lose their drive and motivation.  These individuals can become complacent and lazy or they refuse to take on challenges that enter their life.  Some become trapped in self-sufficiency which is also suggested by the Grand Trine, either working for you or against you.  Those individuals that do not use these energies become stuck and often feel as though they are not going anywhere in life. 

 

Some individuals with a Grand Water Trine for example can become so self-sufficient, that even when confronted with emotional trauma, they feel so self-sufficient that they will not reach out to others for support.  These individuals can, as a result, become overrun with their own emotions and have great difficulty moving beyond trauma in life.  Some become closed within the element the Grand Trine is located (water, fire, earth or air) and become, as Noel Tyl refers to, as “Closed circuits of self-sufficiency.”

 

People with Grand Trines are very motivated in the element the Trine is in, but when confronted with life’s difficulties, they are often very uncomfortable with these issues and have difficulties dealing with them.  Grand Trines work very well most of the time and when a challenging condition  comes their way, they are not used to this type of energy, (unless they have many challenging aspects within the rest of their birth chart) and are not sure how to handle that energy appropriately.

 

When deciphering the Grand Trine within the framework of a natal chart, you will have to take into consideration which element it is in and also the planets and houses affiliated with this energy.  Often one of the Planets in the configuration is linked strongly to another planet in the configuration by aspect, especially by square or opposition and then that planet will be the motivating factor behind this Grand Trine.  This often becomes the pivotal point of expression and can be used as an inspiring point which initiates action to the Grand Trine and the area of life it resonates with.

UNDERSTANDING TRANSITS

 Our birth chart or natal chart is a snapshot of the heavens with the earth in the centre surrounded by all the planets at the moment of birth.  This chart remains influential as long as you live.  Immediately after birth, the planets, although frozen in the natal chart (indicated by the planets on the inside of the chart picture), continue to move by transit (indicated by the planetary symbols on the outside of the chart circle).  Each planet moves at different speeds and in different directions depending on whether they are direct or retrograde in motion.

 

Transits are these movements of the planets and the way their energies are interpreted depends on the angles the transiting planets make (aspects) to the natal planets and angles.  The angles include the MC, the Ascendant (AC), the IC and the DC .  There are many aspects these transiting planets can make with the birth chart locations (Major and Minor aspects) and some of these aspects are considered challenging while some work in a favourable manner.  Much depends on the type of aspect (degree of the angle) and planets that are involved.

 

When a transiting planet, for example, the conjunction (0 to 10 degrees separation) meets up and conjoins with a natal position of a planet, the energies merge and become one.  A conjunction creates an emphasis and elevates the energies of the planets involved or the angles in the natal chart it touches.  The conjunction for example as mentioned is a 0-10 degree aspect and the energies increase as these planets begin to merge together.  When direct (0 degrees apart), the energies are the strongest.  As they begin to separate, the energies weaken and usually within 2-3 degrees past direct the energies are basically gone.  Saturn is the exception and its energies last longer and are often at their peak 2 degrees past direct.

 

This is the basics on how transits work, and you will have to take into consideration the planetary energies involved as well as the angles, together with the house placement of where these planets are found. 

 

When a planet is moving through the seventh house for example, seventh house matters will be involved.  You not only look at the transiting planets position but you look at the natal planet being aspected as well as the natal position of the transiting planet.  In other words, if Uranus is transiting the seventh house, the seventh house is enhanced or activated, then let’s say that it is aspecting the Sun in the 10^th house, this indicates that the tenth house is also highlighted.  If Uranus is natally in the fourth house then you also have to take into consideration what this house signifies.

 

When delineating the transits make sure you understand the duration of the transits.  All the outer planets have a greater impact on your life because they move much slower.  Pluto can have as much as 3-4 years impact on your life for example.  The most powerful period will always be when planets are direct and using our Pluto example, this could peek as long as one to two years.

YOU HAVE THIS

 The road of life can be littered with potholes.  We do our best to elude the majority of these potholes but some are just too large to avoid. 

 

Although these conditions can feel extreme, everything has a solution even if that solution is simply coming to terms with it.

 

We can often feel at the mercy of life.  We can even feel exhausted at times and question if we can deal with the task at hand. 

 

Hold on to your core beliefs.  Put those tools in place that you have practiced just for these times.  Have faith in yourself and your abilities.  Acknowledge that your inner foundation is built on solid ground and cannot be shaken regardless of the pressure from outside forces.  You have the ability to deal with any life condition.  Nothing comes your way that you are incapable of dealing with.

 

Stand tall!  Know your inner strength and be resolute in your commitment.  You will prevail.  You can persevere.  The only restriction that can stand in your way is your attitude. 

 

Dig deep.  Ask for assistance from your guides, higher forces, friends, family or a professional.  Know that you are never alone and that what you need is always at your disposal.  You are strong and have what it takes to deal with all conditions.  Believe!   Expect to see this through. 

 

This is your life to live!  Live it with vision, understanding, and purpose.

FULL MOON JANUARY 28, 2021

 This Full Moon (January 28 @ 2:18 a.m.) is in the sign of Leo, the king of the jungle, the ruler, the leader.  The Full Moon speaks of a culmination point, a time to harvest the fruits of our efforts. 

 

It is interesting to note that on January 20, 2021, transiting Uranus and transiting Mars are conjunct at 6 degrees in the sign of Taurus.  This conjunction is a most detrimental combination, as you can imagine.  The energies or Mars (war and aggression) align with Uranus (revolution and change).  This was the date of the inauguration of the new president into office in the United States of America.  Mars and Uranus do not sit well together, and anything is possible.    We have previously written about the combination of Mars and Uranus.  www.holmastrology.com/apps/blog/show/49707765-the-mars-uranus-conjunction-january-20-21-2021

 

These two planets, however, will be in square to this Full Moon positioning.  Mars will be at 9 degrees and Uranus almost at 7 degrees both in Taurus.  Hopefully there will be some stabilizing influence, but likely some challenging conditions along the way just prior to their connecting. 

 

Squares are troublesome and bring challenging situations into the framework of the energies created by the Full Moon’s positioning.  The good or favorable conditions that may follow are due to the fact that squares are so troubling that they force us into action. 

 

Leo is the sign of royalty and part of its sphere of influence has to do with wanting control over situations.  This usually stems from the heart and the intension is nearly always for the general good of those involved.  Leo is a proud sign and from a personal perspective, the work that has been done prior to this time, (dating back some 6 months to the New Moon in Leo) will define how things unravel.  Remember in order for this placement to have an effect on you in personal terms, you will need to have planets in your chart within 3 degrees of this 9 degree angle.  The conjunction, square and opposition will have the most profound effects in your life and the areas of life involved will be defined by the houses involved.  For further information contact your Astrologer.

 

Jupiter is also part of this profile as it is in opposition to this placement of the Full Moon at 8 degrees in Aquarius.  Oppositions are also considered challenging as the opposing force seems to infiltrate this placement by pushing through or instigating activity that you may have little or no control over.  Oppositions often involve others, and these people can be the ones that can create issues.  Once again, these issues can be delineated by the house placement of transiting Jupiter in your personal natal chart.  Jupiter, however, is not the intimidating and daunting force that Uranus and Mars would be.  Jupiter expands on things and even though the potential for growth in negative terms exists, the favorable energies of Jupiter are always in play and the potential for something good coming out of this is probable.

 

This will be a powerful time in the lives of those that are impacted by these forces.  The mandate for change is apparent and the potential for aggressive interaction is also probable. 

 

You can have an influence in positive terms by working things out favorably for those involved and working with the energies at hand.
