There will be times that we have to remind ourselves that we have chosen this life with all its ups and downs. Each event, somehow, leads to our development and growth. We must honour ourselves and live up to our own personal standards. We must be persistent in our efforts yet accept that there will be times that we will sway. This is okay; we are at this moment in human form. We will always find our way back on path when we silence our mind and open our hearts. If we doubt ourselves, we can question, “Is this ego’s voice?” or “Will this assist me?”. We will always find reliability answers when we confront issues with these questions if we are honest and open.

 

Our reality is but our focus in this moment, a formulated thought, if you will. Pay close attention to what it is that you are creating. Remind yourself of who you truly are, spirit residing in a physical body. You are as powerful as any other creation because you are part of Source energy.

 

We have a part in assisting with the alleviation of the struggle of those less fortunate, those less understanding, those that are caught up in ego’s battle for control throughout human existence.

NEW MOON JANUARY 2, 2022

 We will experience a Capricorn New Moon at 12 degrees on January 2, 2022 at 1:33 p.m. EST.

 

New Moons speak of new beginnings and initiate something new that is related to the sign and house position of the New Moon in your natal chart. If you have a Conjunction, Opposition or Square to this placement by other planets or angles in your birth chart, this New Moon will have special relevance to you.

 

With a Capricorn New Moon quite often this new start has to do with goals and ambitious ideas in the area of life suggested by its house position. For further indications check other planets and their energies as well as their house placement and aspects to this position.

 

Start anything that potentially has long lasting effects and in areas of life that you will be willing to work towards diligently. Capricorn has to do with a steady approach often involving something related to business and enterprise. Some may decide to make a change to their occupation that will affect their future. Others may be inclined to start saving towards retirement or the future. Some may begin long term relationships which may be unexpected. This is due to the influence of T. Uranus which is making a trine at 10 degrees in Taurus to this New Moon’s position.

 

Trines are often quite favourable and are linked to easy flow, good luck and fortunate conditions if the rest of the chart agrees. Uranus always brings to the forefront something that is unexpected and moves you in a new direction because what has been in place no longer suits your evolutionary path. Uranus’ action is unpredictable, sudden and can seem erratic. It seeks out change with the awareness that this change fosters insight and awakenings to something new.

 

The Semi-Sextile from Saturn although considered a minor aspect suggests being in the right place at the right time. This is also considered favourable and because of the link to Capricorn (Saturn rules Capricorn) what moves forward over the next six months or so (especially strong in the upcoming month) brings solidifying aspects to whatever is being formatted or presented.

 

You will need to check what house T. Uranus is passing through and where T. Saturn is placed. This will provide you with more insight into how to move forward and what to expect. When the Full Moon is in the sign of Capricorn in 6 months, you should see the results of your actions as this is the culmination point of what was set in motion under the new moon.

THE SOUTH NODE IN ASTROLOGY

The South Node in astrology focuses on past lives and what we brought forward into this life. This knowledge can be used in coordination with our North Node’s energy. The S. Node also speaks of Karmic issues that were not resolved or still affect us.

 

The S. Node by sign and house placement, ruling planet and any planets conjunct to its position speak of who we were, our past life character and how we defined ourselves.

 

The definitive path or plot of our past life is determined by the S. Node’s sign and house position and ruling planet of our S. Node and all aspects but the conjunctions.

 

In general, the challenging aspects (conjunctions, squares and oppositions) are the ones that will be most significant in this life’s determined path as we need to look at the S. Node as a challenge brought forward into this life. The S. Node is said to have similar energies to Saturn, while the North Node has similar energies to Jupiter, so we always need to view the S. Node in a less than desirable manner.

 

The conjunctions speak of the merging of energies and have an emphasizing effect. The planets’ energies must be taken into consideration. Regardless of the planets concerned, they must be viewed as challenging and presenting difficulty for maneuvering your way through.

 

The Oppositions often speaks of relationships and pressing difficulties that can be overwhelming. Depending on the rest of the story the opposition can be something that we may have been longing for which was perhaps missing in a previous incarnation. Oppositions lean towards anguish and in some cases hopelessness or despair.

 

The Squares leans towards something viewed as being unfair or unjust, anger and resentment as well as aggravation and annoyance. Perhaps you were attacked or violated, and this has led to anguish and anger, and you may now feel a need to resolve the issues carried forward into this life. There is a strong need to get things right this time and to settle the dispute which will help you maneuver your way forward in this life.

HOPE AND CHARITY

There are many living in this world under horrific conditions.

 

Many of us usually find ways to cope with our hardships. Some seek refuge from outside sources, while others find their way through making the best of what little they have.

 

Most of us cannot begin to image living under the appalling conditions some endure. Imagine for a moment living with an addiction. Imagine living a life so wrapped up in these addictions that you beg on the streets because your additions have taken away your ability to hold a job. Imagine alone and feeling as though no one cares whether you live or die.

 

According to addicitioncenter.com in 2017, the National Coalition for the Homeless had found that 38% of homeless people are alcohol dependent, and 26% are dependent on other harmful chemicals. These stats show that most homeless people do not suffer addiction issues. Imagine, through no fault of your own, being unable to afford your next meal. Imagine losing your job, falling through the safety nets and losing your home.

 

The next time you see someone homeless, approach them without judgement. Offer them a few kind words. Offer them your lunch or take them to a restaurant and buy them a meal. What about offering a blanket or coat?

 

Take a moment to reflect on what their situation is actually like then take a moment to reflect on how good your life truly is.

 

Giving without judgement can be a challenge for some of us. Some of us through our judgements walk away and loose the opportunity to help those most in need. Is it possible next time that instead of walking away, we offer something even if that something is only a smile or a kind word? This small gesture may be immeasurable. We do not know these individuals’ journeys. Our kindness might make a miserable day a little brighter. Your donation likely will be used for food, clothing or lodging.

SUN IN CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21, 2021

 Those born in the sign of Capricorn are known to be serious minded individuals, who are somewhat reserved, conscientious, and reliable. They are great managers and do well in the world of business. They are often leaders in their own field. They commitment to success and work relentlessly towards their goal of achievement and advancement. In many cases they will work towards the goals often linked to earthly matters, regardless of how long it takes to advance.

 

They respect authority who have proved themselves and worked their way up the corporate ladder. Capricornians are leaders, not followers, but will listen to advice and then make their own decisions on how to proceed. They are not risk takers and understand the meaning of hard work and disciplined effort and know that it all takes time. They are the builders of the zodiac.

 

It should be noted that much of what this post relates to will be accented by the influence of the sign Capricorn in the natal chart along with placements of other planets in the tenth house. A weak Capricorn or strong influences in other areas of the chart can dilute the Capricorn energies.

 

Some Capricornians have issues with negativity. This is a result of the ruling planet, Saturn, which often makes things more difficult and does not believe in short cuts. Worry and anxiety can result when life is not moving along as wished, and these feelings will be bottled up so no one else can see them. They appear quite in control of life’s situations even when they are not. Although quite sensitive the typical Capricorn will not openly admit to this and hold back emotion under nearly all situations.

Yule – WINTER SOLSTICE

The Winter Solstice (Hibernal Solstice) takes place on December 21, 2021 @ 10:58 a.m. in the northern hemisphere. December 21 will have the least amount of daylight as the sun will be at its lowest arc in the sky for our area.

 

Our daylight will start to increase, and our precious sunlight will return.

 

As nature sleeps and the light is low, we can use the long nights to reflect on our journey. Go inward and plan your intentions for when the energy and the light returns. Mother nature always knows best. Follow her example. Look at nature. Many species are hibernating or slowing down, resting and waiting for the return of light, for the return of warmth, the return of the energy that nurtures us mentally, physically and spiritually.

 

Our current lesson is certainly patience. Utilize this time to look deep into the shadows of self. Bring light to the darkest corners of life. Fill each corner with love and allow spirit to grow.

 

Is it coincidence that during Yule season (the rebirth of light), many celebrate the birth of Christ for example (the rebirth of salvation)? This is a time of celebration for many, whether it is Yule, Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, etc.

 

We have much to celebrate. Be filled with promise, with faith in all that is. Be filled with gratitude, with love and with inner healing light!

THE ILLUSION

You might ask yourself, “What doors am I unable to open?”

 

“What events will I be a part of during this journey?”

 

“Will I be able to perform my duties and fulfill my calling?”

 

These are questions of self doubt or of someone unwilling to let go and let life.

 

No door will remain locked if we are willing to use the key. Often, we are the key to these symbolic locked doors.

 

The answers we look for are not found on the other side of life’s veil. The answers we need are wrapped in each moment of living. Realization is not far-out ideas or imagined concepts that will suddenly show themselves. If we are open to all possibilities, the answers are at our fingertips. We do not have to go searching.

 

Truth is simple and available to us each day. It is not dormant, and it does not need to be discovered. It is already part of each of us, yet many struggle and push it deep down within. Some look so deep, they look beyond truth. It is part of simple everyday awareness, and it lives forever in the eternal moment.

 

Accept life in its simplest form. Do not complicate the equation. Enjoy life and see the glorious whole you are part of now. Have no expectations.

 

The illusion has us looking for something so peculiar that we feel it is too difficult to find. The simple truth is that we are already living our perfect life. We are looking so hard for something other than what we have that we take away from the riches we have. We have been illuded to think that the perfect life is something that is always out of our reach. As long as we keep searching for more, the perfection we already have will never be enjoyed.

 

Stop....breathe......take it all in. See the beauty in all that is. Feel the rush of energy that connects all living things. YOU are part of this miracle. What more could you need?
