TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT NATAL MARS

Those individuals with Natal Mars within a five-degree aspect of Transiting Uranus would have a conjunction affecting their lives. The blending of the energies of Mars and Uranus is not always a pleasant combination. It can affect your actions as both planets are quite assertive and want to push ahead vigorously. Mars does tend to rush too much and when tied to Uranus the impulse is to propel forward without thinking. Often when these two meets you will act on a whim which can at times lead to unfavourable results. Taking time to think things through is advisable, as abrupt, impulsive actions often create mistakes.

 

If you have been thinking about acting on something importance and you have also taken the appropriate time to review what action you should take and have prepared accordingly, you may want to move forward with some disciplined action. This could be opening a business for example but be sure to take all steps necessary.

 

Check which houses are being activated by this transit and where Uranus is located in the birth chart. These will be areas of life being affected by this conjunction.

 

As mentioned, you may be a little too impulsive, and there is always the potential for accidents, when we rush. Mars and Uranus are similar in their actions and being careful is highly advised. Impulsive, rash behaviour can also suggests argumentative behaviours leading to fallouts in relationships. Uranus is somewhat tempered in the sign of Taurus as the energies of Uranus wants change and often through disruptive manners while Taurus is a sign connected to slow and deliberate action, steadiness and comfortable conditions is what it seeks. As you can imagine Uranus in Taurus is not all that comfortable.

 

Your temper can easily become aroused. Watch for this. Watch for putting your own concerns before those of others and make sure you always consider what affect you might have on others if you were to take specific actions. Taurus is a fixed sign, and you may feel as though you are correct in what you are doing and will not be swayed easily.

 

This is a powerful connection and can lead to unique discoveries, potentially in fields connected to science, computers, and astrology. Uranus wants to break free of any restrictive behaviour and the desire to move in new directions may be quite strong.

 

If, for example, the conjunction is in the seventh house, it is quite possible that a relationship is involved. This could be wildly romantic and sexually impulsive, but often when Uranus is involved it is usually temporary. There are strong sexual overtones attached to this combination especially if linked to the fifth or eighth houses in your chart.

 

The best advice is to move ahead with caution. It would be perfect if Saturn were involved in the equation.

 

If the Sun is also involved this could be the time to reach your objectives and once again if you have done your homework, things could work out favourably.

 

If the MC is involved this would make the link complete when it comes to moving forward in your career or schooling and reaching your goals in life or at the very least making the correct preparations for your future.

 

If the Moon is involved you can undoubtedly expect some change of direction, perhaps even a move and women may play an important part in these events, especially the mother.

 

You can do great things with this conjunction. If you are not ready to move forward, you will have to take your time to carefully plan and then move ahead slowly and constructively. Patience is required.

SUN IN AQUARIUS MINI FORECAST

 The Sun moved into the sign of Aquarius on January 19, 2022.

At the time of writing this post, transiting Saturn is conjunct Sun in Aquarius in the mid to later degrees. Saturn will also move into retrograde in June 2022 at 25 degrees and then go direct once again in the end of October at 18 degrees.

 

Saturn works more favourably while in retrograde. Those with their Sun in these degrees will find that there will be some work to be attended to involving personal issues and the path in life. There may be some difficulties and some stoppages along the way. It may feel like a testing period during this time, although much can be accomplished. The houses involved will define the areas of life affected.

 

At the same time transiting Uranus will be making a square to those with their Sun in Aquarius which went direct on January 18 at almost 11 degrees Taurus. T. Saturn and T. Uranus are closely linked together at around 18 degrees from late August to November, 2022. This can bring further challenge to the situation and a need for some drastic action or at the very least a change of attitude. Uranus is known as the awakener and rules Aquarius so these energies pushed forward will not be alien to the typical Aquarian.

 

Squares although challenging, push for action and the stress associated with this energy will need to be confronted and a formulated plan of action will be required. Sometimes the action necessary will seem to come out of nowhere and be quite unexpected, but the change and path forward will be favourable and necessary.

 

This may sound rather formidable, and it it is important to look at all aspects in place during this period along with what condition the Sun is in the natal chart to get a clearer understanding of how this might materialize. Change on some level is likely inevitable but also what is needed.

GETTING RID OF BLOCKS

What holds you back?

 

Do you accept inherited conditions and ideas without question?

 

Many of us accept concepts passed down without question and we have taken them on as our own. Many of our concepts are based on ideas that we have had set before us. Because they have been accepted in the past, we have never questioned them.

 

These ideas include what we conceive as attainable for us as individuals, physically, emotionally and mentally. We incorrectly judge our worth based on standards we or someone before us has placed on us. By doing so, we put limits on all that could be, and I mean ALL.

 

Our conditions change as we set new standards through our focus and beliefs about everything, including ourselves. We can become lost in this search or tethered to judgements that were handed to us as children.

 

If we release the wanting and searching, we will recognize that all we are searching for is already part of who we are. Everything we want for ourselves is available, but we hold ourselves back through our belief structures and our programming. Go beyond the confines of what we consider attainable for this moment in our lives.

 

We search and “want” relentlessly. We do not recognize that it is the wanting and searching that is inhibiting us.

 

What is, is due to our belief structures. If we do not want limits, we cannot place limits on anything. We facilitate change by what we believe. Taking control or at least understanding the control that we have in the process begins a spiral of change that is more in line with where we choose to be in our lives.

 

Following instinct through love and allowance, we can push forward accepting that the moment is the real goal and what is, is determined by that moment; nothing more; nothing less.

 

Judgement, desire, fear, despair, etc. are always a result of previous conditioning. In finding the now, we let go of any thoughts pertaining to our potential future or our past experiences that hold us prisoner. Living in the moment requires nothing further. Recognize, experience, and enjoy this moment! Nothing else is real.......

SUN IN AQUARIUS JANUARY 19, 2022

 The Sun moves from the cardinal, earth sign of Capricorn into the fixed, air sign of Aquarius today, January 19, 2022.

 

Those with their Sun in the sign of Aquarius ruled by the planet Uranus and co-ruled by the planet Saturn are considered the most unusual of the Zodiac but they have no problem being who they are. They most often do what they want and think beyond the realms of what might be considered normal.

 

They are considered the pioneer of the Zodiac and are said to be ahead of their time. Only those that understand them and share the same insights truly fit into this somewhat eccentric approach to life and what it offers. Aquarius is considered an intellectual sign and they love a good debate although the conversation may be a bit off the wall for those that are not inclined to venture beyond mainstream thinking.

 

Aquarians are the humanitarians of the Zodiac and visualize a future where they can contribute on some level to a cause that they can identify with. They truly want to help others, and this is accomplished through conversation and insight. Their world view is often somewhat quirky. They can make odd or strange conversation when they decide to partake in dialogue with others. Their sense of humor is unique, and you may never know what will come out of the conversation as they love the art of surprise.

 

They can be rather ridged in their beliefs and will try to persuade others to see their point of view. Some can appear standoffish or loners although they also love being social and are conversationalists. They seem aloof and often detached from the world around them and walk their own path. They think outside the box.  They have their own perspective but can be swayed although it may not be an easy task.

LIFE'S BEAUTY

 Have you ever purposefully taken a close look at all that surrounds you?

 

Have you taken a close look at nature?

 

Have you looked around your home and been truly thankful for all that is available to you?

 

There is so much beauty that surrounds us yet so many of us do not see it as we spend our days listening to the babbling voice in our mind. We miss the enjoyment of the moment and see very little of what is next to us.

 

Look around you now as you are reading this post. I mean a good look. Don’t just scan your surroundings. Focus on the little details. Take them in and feel their presence. Let them make an imprint.

 

Why do we ignore what is right in front of us?

 

Now go a step further. Review your life, your children, partner, pets, parents, siblings, all family whether blood or chosen, those whom you work with or see regularly at work.

 

Now go even deeper and pay attention to those that you pass on the road, in stores, on your walk or in the movie theater. Take it all in during the moment and let this “seeing” spill into your day. Pay attention to it all.

 

Experience breathing in air...feel the warmth or coolness of the air. Experience how it feels on your skin. Feel the warmth of the Sun. Experience the stars. Feel the energy of the Moon. Take in the fragrances of all that surrounds you.

 

When people are on holidays, they take in much of their surroundings and experience life much more than when living their day-to-day life.

 

Why do we not focus on everyday life? Each moment is special and holds its own magic. We CAN open our eyes to all that we normally take for granted and feel life’s experience. We can even feel life’s vibrations and our interaction with what is taking place if we place our focus there. We can also experience intuition and a connection to all living things if we choose to pay attention. This and so much more surrounds us every moment. How much of life are we missing?

 

The next time we feel as though life is offering us nothing, have a little peak at what is right in front of you. If life feels difficult it is not from the events that are taking place, but due to our attitude towards what is taking place. All this that we fight will eventually pass but these events would be much easier to experience if we just accepted. We are not suggesting that we allow ourselves to be a victim. Quite the contrary. We can take control of our reaction to life and insist that it will benefit us, not knock us down.

 

When life is what we term as good, we can hold this energy in our hearts and be thankful. What we term as hard times offer growth. Experience it all. We are only here for a short time in the grand scheme of things, but in the moment, we have eternity. Gratitude and happiness are within our grasps always. Take advantage of what life is offering but we must recognize this to enjoy it.

FULL MOON JANUARY 17, 2022

 Today, January 17, 2022 @ 6:51 p.m. EST, we will be experiencing a Full Moon in the sign of Cancer at 27 degrees.

 

The moon will be making a trine to Ceres and the North Node. Ceres in many ways can be compared to the sign Cancer suggesting a time for nurturing and taking care perhaps in areas where healing needs to surface with the family or with close personal friends. In a personal sense this could incorporate the need for encouraging a sense of recovery from something that has caused pain and it can be quite personal or perhaps from a close personal family member.

 

The North Node trine often speaks of someone coming into your life at the opportune moment who helps facilitate the emergence of this need for nurturing and healing or mothering. When the North Node is present it often suggests that an opportunity to move in a direction that suits your evolutionary quest. The North Node in the natal chart is linked to the path forward or the path that you are here to follow and learn from.

 

The Full Moon has to do with a culmination point as a direct result from the pursuit and energy directed at a particular area of life. This started approximately 6 months ago, when we had the New Moon in the sign of Cancer. New Moon’s energy is representative of the beginning of a cycle while the Full Moon has to do with the finalization or end result of the New Moon focus.

 

Cancer 27 degrees is found to be in the third decant of Cancer which has some Pisces energies tied in with the Cancer foundation. This can be a highly intuitive period and an opening into the psychic realm if there are other similar indicators in the chart.  For example, if Pisces is involved or Neptune or the 4^th or 12^th houses. Any Scorpio or eighth house natal placement may also support this.

 

For this Full Moon to have a significant effect in your life you must have planetary energies within three degrees of this placement by aspect. The conjunction, opposition and square in that order are the strongest while the trine and sextile follow.

 

Cancer has to do with family and the desire for nurturing and this can also apply to us personally.  Cancer is a highly sensitive sign and a very protective sign especially connected to the family or close personal friends. This can be a time when you feel the energies of others and are inclined to offer some encouragement or gentle assistance to those in need.  Mothering tendencies come to life for those affected by this Full Moon’s position and the more aspects including the angles in the natal chart the stronger the influence. These energies are strong for about 3-5 weeks.

MERCURY IN RETROGRADE

 Planets in retrograde do not operate at their full potential. In many cases, it is a time to reflect on and plan around the energies of the planets involved. When they are ready to turn direct, we can then use the information gathered over the time frame where the retrograde cycles occurred. Our last Astrology post on January 12, 2022, we focused on Venus in retrograde and today Mercury in Retrograde.

 

Mercury begins its retrograde cycle on January 14, 2022 in the sign of Aquarius at 10 degrees and will back as far as 24 degrees Capricorn. Mercury goes direct cycle on February 4, 2022.

 

Mercury in retrograde is often feared by many, as its meaning has been delineated in rather strong terms. It is important to note that if you do not have Mercury retrograde in your natal chart and are not being affected adversely by its placement making contact with your planets in the natal chart, you may not be affected at all, or its influence may be rather mild. Mercury’s intensity will be influenced by other factors in the chart. Look to see what aspects Mercury makes to the rest of your chart while in its retrograde cycle.

 

Mercury retrograde often suggests that this is the time to review things that are currently important in your life. It is important not to sign important documents at this time as sometimes things do not move along as you wish they would. Mental processing may not be optimal but planning the next move after the retrograde cycle is over is the best approach. Mercury is primarily in the sign of Aquarius during this retrograde cycle, although it is also in Capricorn in its final stages, so what we discussed with Venus in Capricorn in the January 12 post will be reiterated by Mercury in the same sign. www.holmastrology.com/apps/blog/show/50216115-venus-in-retrograde?siteId=126690493&locale=en-US  We will not repeat that information here.

 

Aquarius often speaks of humanitarian endeavors and a rather unique approach to life’s events. If Uranus is involved in the equation be sure not to do anything without full consideration and moving in a completely different direction under this influence is not advisable.

 

Being involved with groups and organizations may be hindered in some way at this time for those influenced by this cycle. You may not be allowed or feel you should not take part in events such as protests or your group involvement may be held back because of the concerns of today.

 

Aquarius carries with it the need for change and the start of something new and you may wish to advance on some level, but the timing is not right for this to begin. It is often best to wait until Mercury goes direct once again in early February.

 

Take the time to rationalize and think things out during this time frame and move in accordance with the energies as they begin to present themselves in a clearer light as time passes. If, however, you have made plans and wish to continue along the same path, move ahead but expect some restraints and potential shortfalls.
