SUN IN LEO JULY 22, 2022

The Sun moves from the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer into the Fixed Fire sign of Leo on July 22, 2022. Leo is an energetic, playful, dramatic, and bold sign. Leo’s intensions are always noble, and all stems from the heart. Leo has a strong ego and relies on self as they are often noted as being a leader not a follower. They can be bursting with confidence and are quite charming and full of fun.

 

Leo in love give all of themselves, but also wish to have a partner that they can look up to.

 

Leo needs stimulation and often enjoys taking trips, the outdoors and wants to take part in recreational activities. CLIMBING ABOVE INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS

We must always remember that our thoughts stem from within and we can ultimately steer them in any direction we desire. We are not at the mercy of these thoughts, but it may seem that way at times. We struggle when we are captive of these ideas and their constant barrage that create conflict. This can go on for long periods of time, even years for some, as they live within the clutches of thoughts.

 

The conflict continues for as long as it takes us to recognize that they are merely thoughts and not concrete reality.

 

The longer we adopt a belief, the more it is manifested into our reality. It takes time for life to begin to appear this way, but it does slowly creeps in.

 

Eg. You learned a new word yesterday and today you have heard several people use it YET previously you had never heard of it.  You attention is now focused on that new word and it shows up repeatedly.

 

We can change the direction of our thoughts through our focus. If we focus our attention on the negative in our life, we highlight this and draw more of the same. If we begin to focus our attention on the positive in life even if there is very little at the time, the ongoing focus creates more of the same.

 

We may have been under a thought influence for a long time. We choose, however, how long we wish to hold on to adverse experiences and our attitude towards these events. The longer we have been held under the spell of disillusionment the longer it may take to reprogram our mind. As the old saying goes “Rome was not built in one day”.

 

When we decide that we will no longer be held by these conflicts and learn to catch them in the early stages of development we can stifle the process. Life will still happen as it does for us all, but we can choose how to relate to these conditions, and we choose how long to hold on to them. We are the masters of our life’s experience internally as we control our reaction to life’s events.

TRANSITING JUPITER IN ARIES

Transiting Jupiter is moving through the sign of Aries except for a short period when it moves back into Pisces from October 29 to December 21, 2022. Jupiter remains in the sign of Aries until May 17, 2023 then moves into Taurus.

 

Jupiter will affect natal charts that are in aspect to this placement, especially by the major aspects (Conjunction, Opposition, Square, Trine, and Sextile). Check which planets or angles in your natal chart that will be impacted by this position. The planets, signs they are in, houses where they are located and the position of T Jupiter will clearly define how Jupiter’s energies will unfold in your life. Of course, you also must take into consideration the other influences from transits and progressions during the aspect. An experienced Astrologer can assist you with this if you are unable to delineate what this means in the birth chart.

 

Jupiter is the planet of optimism and good fortune & is considered the most supportive and favourable of all planets in Astrology. Jupiter expands, presents growth opportunities and is known as the great benefic. It signifies the highest aspects of your life and is often associated with religious views, philosophy and spiritual understanding. It is the law maker and always wants to set things right and put them in their proper perspective. Jupiter promotes growth and expansion through experience and provides us with what we need on all levels and even when in challenging aspect to other planets, except for Saturn which offers growth through conscious effort.

 

When Jupiter is in Aries that is the time to move ahead with personal plans especially if in favourable aspect. Aries is about personal objectives and striving towards what is important in your life at that point in time. BRINGING POSITIVITY INTO OUR LIFE

If we concentrate on life’s challenges, we amplify the “challenging conditions”. On some level we need to take responsibility. This is not to say that we created the event, but we decided how we wanted to relate and respond to it.

 

If we try to ignore thoughts or life lesson’s, we are placing more focus there by working on ignoring them. Trying to ignore something is impossible. We need to process the information, then accept and release as this changes the course of the thought process. You will notice that I said, “the course of the thought process”, not “our” thought process. This was intentional because we are not to identify with these difficult and intrusive thoughts. They are not ours to own, even though they stem from the mind.

 

Eg. If you think of yourself as being stupid, this is a detrimental thought and you should not identify with it. Anything that makes you feel bad or unworthy should not be identified with. Why would you make something yours that makes you feel bad or not deserving or not enough?

 

Life is not to reside in these thoughts and experiences. Find the place within that makes you feel loved. Why would you want to be experiencing anything else?

 

Challenging life conditions are a part of life.  They are lessons.  Experience the challenges. They are our greatest teachers. Many of us will through example become teachers for others. They will either learn not repeat our example or they will learn from our example.

 

All life lessons promote growth and expansion. They teach us but again, they are not for us to own.  Experience, learn and release!

FULL MOON JULY 13, 2022 IN CAPRICORN

Today, July 13, 2022, we are experiencing a Capricorn Full Moon at the 21°. This Full Moon will be in trine both Uranus at 18° Taurus and the North Node (NN) 19° Taurus (conjunction Uranus).

 

Those with planets either in conjunction or opposition the Full Moon (18-24 degrees) in Capricorn or Cancer will be affected by this placement of this Full Moon. Squares, Trines and Sextile will have a lesser degree of influence but an influence nonetheless. Remember the tighter the orb to 21° the more intense its influence. The more planets or angles involved in the equation the stronger the influence.

 

A Full Moon in Capricorn often influences earthly matters. This can include our occupation and career, or earthly goals connected to material growth. Perhaps you have been thinking about moving ahead with your career or business objectives and you may have been laying the foundation for about 6 months (since Cap New Moon). Now will be the time to see these ideas come to fruition or move to the next level.

 

The trine (120°) from transiting Uranus and the NN, which is a favourable aspect, will help with what is in place and at times offer smooth sailing towards your objectives. Trines often suggest easy flow and good opportunities if you follow through. In some cases, things just seem to be moving in the right direction, but often with a little push, advancement can be even greater.

 

The NN indicates what we should be pursuing at this time in life. Aligned with Uranus, you can expect the unexpected (in a favourable manner). Uranus will move you in new directions with a change of objectives and often under unpredictable circumstances. Uranus is known as the awakener and pushes you to make changes to your life’s direction especially when in conjunction to the NN. The NN can indicate an important person or life pursuit that assists you.

OUR PRIME OBJECTIVE

We are here living this earthly experience for a short period of time. Time itself passes without concern, and we move along with it. We can slow its movement somewhat by remaining focused in the present, but it marches on regardless.

SOUTH NODE’S INFLUENCE IN ASTROLOGY

The South Node is always in direct opposition with the North Node in a natal chart or through transit. Therefore, it is important to take into consideration both placements in their signs as well as house positions and aspects. The NN has been defined clearly in our past posts and they have included the South Nodes position as well, but we thought we would just discuss the energies of the South Node in this post.

 

The SN is conducive of the energies linked to Saturn so challenges and obstacles are often a part of this nodal expression. Difficulties are associated with the SN when we drift back into the comfortable realms of this nodal placement. We are not meant to follow this position and although it may feel like a comfortable place to reside, we are not to move in its direction (defined by the house and sign position).

 

The SN has been linked with a prior life that some Astrologers suggest can assist us in our current life. We can use some of these energies to assist us in following the NN requirements in the natal chart. We have brought the SN energies with us but they can suggest challenge when activated through transit or progression. A challenging square to the SN will indicate struggles and obstacles and a tendency to resist change and evolve. If Uranus is involved there may be a tendency to resist spiritual evolution and enlightenment; if Neptune is involved a resistance to let go of the past; and a suggestion of ego involvement if Pluto is involved or a need for growth and expansion often through positive reinforcement if Jupiter is involved and so forth.

 

Oppositions often imply that others are involved and their input will impact us. In some cases we may not want to be open to what they have to say or feel as though they are intruding. Because of the NN conjunction we actually need to listen to these people in order to move ahead.

 

Trines and sextile help to facilitate opportunities and easy flow although the connection to the SN often suggest that even though an opportunity is present holding on to old ways and not moving forward can be a challenge.

 

Although the SN is considered to be a challenging position regardless of the difficulties presented by the SN in the natal chart we can use their energies to enable growth and opportunities in our current ventures. They can hold important information that has been taught or learned through experience that can help us move ahead with our NN potential.
