SUN IN VIRGO AUGUST 23, 2022

On August 23 the Sun moves from the fixed, fire sign of Leo into the mutable, earth sign of Virgo. Virgo carries with it tendencies where adaptability and change are often part of the personality. Virgo seeks to achieve the closest thing to perfection as opposed to Gemini (also a mutable sign) enjoys variety and does not care to seek out perfection. Virgo wants to create order and seeks to create something that is viable and useful. Virgoans needs to have all their T’s crossed and I’s dotted. They want to do the ideal, flawless job and therefore are often well suited for service. As an office worker, you can rely on them to do a good, thorough job and to be reliable and steadfast.

 

Virgoans see all the little flaws in life and particularly in the occupation or other areas where watching details is critical. They also pay a great amount of attention to their appearance and hygiene. Virgoans will see all their own personal little flaws during their daily routine. Virgoans should not be so hard on themselves and recognize that nothing is flawless. Enjoy life and have some fun and don’t take life so seriously. TRANSITING PLUTO TRINE NATAL MERCURY

While Pluto is in transit it can have profound effects on any planet, angle, and luminaries. The luminaries and angles have the most intense effects often altering our life in significant ways. The houses involved and natal aspects to these positions play a prominent role in the areas of life involved along with the energies associated with the other planets and aspects they make to the natal positions of the planets or angles involved.

 

Pluto is about transformation, regeneration and in many cases absolute change of direction. Pluto can do this in intense ways over time. It often suggests an ending and a new beginning. It should be noted that something often must be finalized before something new begins.

 

Pluto can be powerful in its action and can create intensity and often turmoil and confrontation or power struggles. When in trine with another planets or angle the intensity is still be quite strong and produces desired results even when it may not always look that way initially.

 

Mercury has to do with the mind and is associated with communication, teaching, listening, schooling on some level, but is highly associated with the process of thinking. Mercury needs stimulus to become activated.

 

When Pluto makes a trine (120°), there is often an opening of consciousness where ideas or external stimulus create potential for a change of direction within the conscious or unconscious mind. All outer planets open doors which promote a route to where we are meant to currently travel in life.

 

You may find you can advance yourself with the help of those in positions of authority or those in the know. It will be up to you if you take advantage of this. Sometimes what takes place or begins unfolding seems out of your hands and you may have to let life lead. Under the trine aspect it will be important to pay attention to what is being offered and view this from the proper perspective. Watch for the mind power-tripping or having a know-it-all attitude as others CAN assist in the process.

 

This will be an important period. Take notice where life is taking you or suggesting that you go as time unfolds. T Pluto’s movement is slow and the story will gradually unfold.

YOU ARE MORE DEEP WITHIN

For those that question reincarnation and are open to this potential perhaps this little piece of insight might open the door a little. Ask yourself, “does this feel like the first time around or do you feel as though you have some insight into the workings of life”?

SUN/MERCURY CAZIMI

When Mercury is closely conjunct the Sun but more than 17 minutes in separation, it is considered combust. When the Sun/Mercury conjunction is within 17 minutes or less it is Cazimi. This is considered a fortunate placement.

 

There are few people with Mercury and the Sun Cazimi but those that do have this in their chart are noted to have superior intellectual capabilities than normal. Mercury rules the intellect hence the connection to the intellect and mental abilities. Some Astrologers have linked this to mental abilities of the highest order.

 

Sun/Mercury Cazimi stabilizes the intellect although also making it flexible and easily adaptable to mental stimuli. Logic is often enhanced for those with Mercury and the Sun in the earth signs. This in most individuals strengthen the mind and enhance the capabilities for an informative responses. This does not necessarily mean that they will respond quickly but rather that they are having many different ideologies covering the material and forming an eventual solution or idea to move forward.

 

Mercury which is the natural ruler of Gemini and Virgo (although this Astrologer has some nagging questions if Virgo is ruled by Chiron) will enhance flexibility and creative potential along with the ability to move from one thought to another with ease. The sign and house positions will provide more information and hone in on what potential areas of life are involved and how the mind will operate.

 

For those with a Sun/Mercury Cazimi with their Sun/Mercury in Pisces, Scorpio or the 12^th house or 8^th house (or other indicators in the natal chart) this positioning can indicate illumination, enlightenment and spiritual advancement. There are other indicators in the natal chart that point in this direction but since we are discussing Sun/Mercury Cazimi, we thought we would give some insight to this potential here.

FILTER YOUR SPEECH

There are many sensitive souls amongst us. With some individuals it is obvious but with others it is hidden. A gentle approach can be effective with most anyone.

 

In the heat of a moment, regrettable things can be said and can be misconstrued. Our verbal deliverance can place more meaning to our words that the words actually spoken.

 

It is important to share how you feel but at times, it might be a wise choice to wait and not share during the heat of the moment. It is far better to act than react. Your message will be received much clearer in a calm environment. It is important to share and be open but filtered delivery will promote more understanding and possibly a resolution instead of a reaction.

 

We always get more bees with honey than vinegar. Say what needs to be said but be mindful of your delivery and if the energies at the time are conducive to resolution.

FULL MOON AUGUST 11, 2022

On August 11, 2022 we will experience a Full Moon in Aquarius at 19°.

 

Any planet or angles in your chart that is in aspect particularly conjunct, opposition or square to this degree and with an orb of no more than 3° will affect you. The trine and sextile also impact this degree but not with the same intensity.

 

The Full Moon is a culmination point and often speaks of heightened emotion connected often with closure, endings of cycles and relinquishing stagnant or negative energy. What began at the Aquarius New Moon 6 months ago and whatever energy you have put forth over that time is now reaching its harvest period. The sign and house position holds information in how this is unfolding for you.

 

With the Full Moon in Aquarius the energy may be centered around your friends and associates and the desire is to bring significant change where change is needed. Your ideas may be considered unique even somewhat revolutionary. It is about creating something that is lasting and building towards tranquility and bringing inner balance and peace.

 

Aquarius is a fixed air sign. The Aquarius full moon is conjunct T Saturn suggesting overcoming some struggles. Perhaps there are obstacles holding back progress or perhaps others do not agree with your approach as it is unusual. The purpose of Saturn is to teach lessons and bring about something that has lasting potential and favors growth. No halfway measures are acceptable and the outcome should always have the betterment of humanity or those around you in mind to create peace and lasting contentment.

 

The Full Moon is also square to the North Node which is conjunct Uranus suggesting more challenging conditions and although there will be some difficulties in reaching a viable end the energy is strong enough to push you to finalize your endeavor. Remember Aquarius and its ruling planet Uranus are about change and evolution but this needs to take place in peaceful and compassionate ways. It may be somewhat radical but it is likely needed. Love and peace should be what you are working towards and the assistance of others is always number one.
