THE WANT FOR MORE

We want to achieve more. We want to acquire more. We want to learn more. We want to be more. We want to be loved more. We want to experience more, and the list goes on and on.

 

Building on something in life is relevant and pushing ahead with our endeavors can be important. We want to achieve independence and experience accomplishments and spirituality. We strive for recognition for our hard work and diligent efforts. We want to be someone special or important or be known for what we have accomplished. It seems to be a part of our DNA.

 

There are exceptions. Some people are content with what is right in front of them. They don’t require any more and are satisfied with very little and do not need recognition.

 

The push to learn more can be strong for those on a learning journey and in most cases we are all on that journey.

 

When do we become satisfied and when does the need to achieve and learn end or is there such a thing?

 

In many cases it is what we leave behind that seems to matter in this earthly life. Wealth can bring material contentment in life, but we leave all that behind when we pass on.

 

Peace and contentment are the main ingredients for security in life and we can have many happy moments when we seek this or better still allow this in our lives.

 

Sharing is also important and what we have to offer can provide happiness, ease of concerns, love and contentment into other people’s lives.

 

There is really nothing wrong with striving for more but is there a potential that wanting more leads to discontented? Do we feel that nothing is ever good enough or we could always just want more for the sake of having more or achieving more?

 

Contentment lies in the moment when we realize that what we need we already have. We can push for more but in this moment, we actually have all we truly need.

THE VERTEX AND JUPITER

We have written a post on the Vertex previously, so we will not go too deep into its explanation. However, it is important to note that it is often referred to as a turning point or position of fate in Astrology. It often speaks of important relationships since it is situated around the Descendant. The Vertex is found between the 5th and 8th houses in our natal chart.

 

In brief, in the 5th house, it suggests that falling in love and romantic adventures are important and fated in your life. In the 6th it is suggested that you are subject to a life of service and giving. In the 7^th, your priority has to do with relationships of significance such as your marriage partnership or in some cases business associates. In the 8^th the Vertex has to do with transformation of love, the sexual experience and shared resources connected to a close and personal relationship.

 

The sign of the Vertex provides a deeper understanding of how this might play out in your personal life.

 

There is a degree of Karma involved and things seem to be very fated and, in many cases, when planets transit your Vertex a turning point of significance happens in important relationships. Connections made or reversals are brought to the forefront. Energy is released and things happen in fated ways.

 

When connected to Jupiter it suggests something fated or a turning point occurs with significant, positive outcomes. Jupiter known as the greater benefic often points towards growth or expansion to the area of life (House/Sign), that is being transited. In conjunction Jupiter bring an important turning point in the relationship which is destined to occur. This is the most powerful of the aspect configurations. Next is the opposition which often involves someone new who is intended to be of assistance or an important influence in your life. If this is already a known person, the relationship can move to the next level or something fortunate takes hold. Someone else may create this and in many cases, you can just be part of what unfolds rather than being the initiator of what happens. The trine and sextile offer even greater influences. The trine suggests easy flow and the sextile often has to do with opportunities. The square is a little more difficult although it should push you into action or after the fact to recognize what unfolded was not only meant to be but what was required at this time.

LIVING WITH GUILT

Many individuals struggle with their past and things that they have done. Many are caught up in these incidents and struggle to move on.

 

The past is behind us and what we have done cannot be changed. Feeling guilty about what we have done or our part in what has taken place is quite common; however, we are likely not that same individual as we continually grow from our experiences. We are always capable of making changes and of learning moving forward.

 

Our past actions do not define us. We have to learn to accept these memories or behaviors but let them go and no longer identifying with them. The NEW YOU has many options. You choose where you go moving forward.

 

If you were providing guidance to someone else ”in your shoes” , what would you say to them?

 

Take your own advice and leave the past behind. Rid yourself of guilt. It serves no viable purpose today. Release yourself from bondage of the past. Yesterday has no place in today!

FULL MOON IN ARIES

On Sunday, October 9, 2022, we will experience a Full Moon in Aries at 16° (second decant). This Full Moon will influence you if you have planets or an angle within 3° either by conjunction or opposition in your chart (to a lesser degree the square, trine, and sextile although I would use a slightly tighter orb).

 

Aries suggests this is a time for action and to move forward. Seek what needs your attention and act. It is a time for releasing or correcting anything that needs alignment or resolution. You should look at anything that you began approximately six months ago when the New Moon was in Aries. Now bring closure or refine what was set in motion then. This is a culmination point. Harvest the fruits of your efforts.

 

Aries wants to take the bull by the horns and push ahead. You will now want to forge ahead with your endeavors, surrender what does not work and make sure that nothing becomes stagnant.

 

Watch for aggressive action and heightened emotion especially when it comes to personal achievement. There can be endings of sorts and you may even be able to rid yourself of habits that have held you back.

 

The houses involved and particularly the placement of the Full Moon at 16° Aries will indicate the areas of life involved. E.g. If the 7^th house, perhaps the relationship or a business associate will be part of the picture. If the MC is involved this can relate to your career or life status. If your NN is part of the profile, your advancement forward and alignment with your path may be influenced.

 

Take advantage of the sextile from Saturn which currently offers some potential opportunity especially when it comes to advancement with your objectives or the probability of solidifying your career. The opposition from Venus suggests that if relationship issues are present then there is a possibility that the other person involved may challenge things. This can be a third person or the partner themselves. Oppositions often imply that there are other people causing some disruption and they are the ones creating the change or realization.

DISENGAGE FROM FEAR

Do you feel as though you are alone with your worries?

 

Should you let go of fear or are your fears well founded?

 

There are often options that you may not have considered or have considered, and you walked away from them. Sometimes a situation demands action. If so, take action.

 

If there is fear, apprehension or concern about the situation at hand, then why would you not make that move?

 

Are there no options or are you stagnating because action and its outcome are unknown?

 

You can separate yourself from fear simply by moving away from the situation. You can undo the bondage and free yourself. It takes courage and resolve to unlock that door to freedom.

 

You are stronger than you think. Our frame of mind and belief structure can be a large hurdle. Most worry is self-made but in other cases is obvious.

 

You have overcome adversity before, so you are capable again.

 

In many cases you are not alone. There are others that can help you facilitate the change that you so need. Do not be afraid to ask for help.

 

You can do anything once you set your mind to do something. Face your problems head on. The initial step is always in your hands. Decide to act and take that step.

BE YOU

Is there something you can do that reflects who you are?

 

How you relate to yourself and what you think of yourself is of utmost importance.

 

Each individual you meet see you differently than the next person. Ask ten people who you are and you will get ten different answers. In reality, the only one that sees the real you is you.

 

We are who we are in this moment and this changes with each passing moment. Throughout life we change and grow. Who we were a year ago is not who we are now.

 

If there is something about your character or actions that you do not like, stop identifying with it. Make a change and it will change. Work from you is a requirement. Life continually changes and so will you with it.

 

Surround yourself with people that make you feel comfortable and good about yourself. These are your friends, and you can grow together being yourself. Never be someone different for the sake of others. You are your own masterpiece!
