TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE THE MIDHEAVEN

Neptune deals primarily with energies of “other-world” understanding, such as the mystical side of life, spiritual realizations, truths that are found within and uncovering your own spiritual alignment.  Neptune suggests that we have a deep profound look at life and come to an understanding based on the awakening of spiritual insight.  Neptune can work on subliminal channels and will use the unconscious to evaluate our lives from a higher perspective based on intuitive understanding.  It can open the channels to what our dreams are communicating and allows hidden channels of exchange with other realms of existence.

When Neptune is connected to the MC (Midheaven or Medium Coeli ) by trine (MC deals with occupation, status and goals in life), your desires can put you in a place of service where you can work behind the scenes, perhaps in an institution or in a social service position.  This type of positions will help you reach these objectives in your life.  There is a need and desire to assist those less fortunate, the poor and disenfranchised or those that are sick and need assistance.  This could also be linked to charity work where ego or the feelings of superiority do not play a part in the process.  You would work exclusively to help those who need your assistance in some way and during this transit you may be drawn to organizations that will put your ego to rest at least for the time being.

Your own ego drive will not be too strong during this trine and your own personal needs may be thwarted by the needs of others.  Because of this, you will have to make sure that you service your own needs as well as the needs of others.  Personal relationships could suffer because of this or people recognizing this desire to help others may push their needs on to you and use you knowing that you are susceptible to these influences.  It is extremely important that you also focus some attention on your own personal needs.

In general, trines are considered favourable aspects and will usually assist you and work with you in achieving or maneuvering yourself in directions that are more favourable.  In rare instances particularly when we have been travelling a less than desirable paths, a trine can speed up the process and provide the thrust to propel you further into directions that are not so pleasing.  In general however trines and sextiles are what we wait for in Astrology.  They often provide good luck, easy flow and advantageous circumstances that are favourable for us.

Remember to take into consideration which house is being transited by Neptune and which planet rules your MC.  This information will provide you with insight into how the energies will work themselves out and in which area of life these energies will manifest themselves.  Also take a look at the overall condition of Neptune in your birth chart.  If it is well aspected, expect better than anticipated results and if it is poorly aspected, things will usually work out well in the long haul, but it may take some work from you to get to where you want to go.

NEPTUNE TURNING RETROGRADE – PART II

We are continuing with our Neptune retrograde post from June 8, 2016.  We will define how this Neptune retrograde positioning can affect your chart.

For example, if you have Neptune in the first house in your birth chart, and transiting Neptune is in the sixth house, this could reveal an awakening of sorts to the workings of spirituality in your life.  This energy will assist you in seeing things more clearly and realizing the mystical qualities in your life.  This could also present itself as a change in health conditions, a change in the working environment and an overall attitude adjustment to the nature of life and how it affects you in physical terms. 

Neptune in the first house suggests a spiritual life.  It suggests an awakening and enlightenment unfolding over time.  Much depends on the state of Neptune in its natal position as to how this plays itself out.  We all have Neptune sextile to Pluto in our birth charts (the tighter the aspect the stronger the energies) which suggests that inner reflection and dynamic changes in our perceptions which will lean towards spiritual matters.  For those with artistic abilities, the development of this potential will be part of life’s unfolding story.

If for example you have natal Neptune in the second house and transiting Neptune in the seventh house, the experience may deal with financial matters or security from an inner perspective associated with business matters or relationships.  During this time, you may end up getting married or the relationship could become somehow more real, as you will see past any illusive thoughts or visions you may have held about your potential partner.  This may also be represented through a contact or an associate with ties to your business.

Transiting Neptune is moving through its own sign of Pisces.  Neptune takes 14 years to move through a sign.  This planet has been in Pisces since the spring of 2011 and will remain in Pisces until 2025.  Neptune in Pisces will be related to the mystical unfolding which will last several generations, due to the length of time Neptune and Pluto will be in sextile with one another.  This sextile may be tied to the awakening that is currently taking place.  It will bring to the forefront greater awareness of our own mystical pursuits and awaken latent talents associated with spirituality and the psychic connection we all share.  This is a glorious time for mankind.  This is part of the dynamics of the shift that is taking hold in our world.  This is a transitional stage and as Neptune deals with fact and fiction, illusive periods will lead the way to the awakening stages of evolution. 

Much of what takes hold over the next six months will have to be delineated with respect to the overall condition of Neptune in your birth chart, other aspects to Neptune through its transit, as well as any other planet that will be affected through transit during this period.  The natal chart should be deciphered, as well as the progressed and solar charts for the period in question in order to get an overall picture of what will be unfolding.

THE LION WITHIN

Every day is special, if we decide to look at it that way.

On this special day, take a moment to look in the mirror and make a conscious effort to acknowledge who you are, with all of your positive attributes.  On this special day, take a moment to remind yourself that you will meet your expectations and reach your goals.  Not only will you reach them but you will exceed them.  Remind yourself that not only are you on target and in perfect alignment, but you can make anything happen.  With these reminders, you will have the ability to climb any mountain, to reach any summit and quiet any storm.  When you look at yourself and your abilities with a positive attitude, your abilities are enhanced, your vision is clear and your direction is obvious.

Move towards your goals while extending a helping hand to those that need assistance.  This will make your goals that much more rewarding.

Stand your ground in the face of adversity for truly they are only lessons.  Have the audacity to know when to be self sufficient and when to accept guidance from higher forces. 

Stand tall, know your place and be free.  Be the king of your jungle and have faith in yourself and the process.  There is always a way!  Allow you, the king of your jungle, to reign.

NEPTUNE TURNING RETROGRADE PART I

Neptune turns retrograde on June 13, 2016 beginning at 12 degrees Pisces.  It will remain stationary for three days (June 13-16, 2016).  A reminder that stationary positions are, by far, the more powerful energy. 

The outer planets remain in retrograde for longer periods of time and this retrograde cycle of Neptune will last until November, 2016.  It will barely move 3 degrees in the horoscope (12-9degrees) over a 150 day period.

Those that have Neptune in retrograde in their birth charts will certainly be affected.  Those that have Neptune stationary in their birth chart will be even more powerfully affected.  “Powerfully” may not be the appropriate word as Neptune’s energies are very subtle ways.  Its influences are felt often through intuitive channels and the unconscious minds. 

In direct motion, Neptune often suggests cloudiness with our reasoning, potential deception or we may not be facing facts.  In its higher representation is suggests idealism.  It also could suggest a romantic involvement often associated with an idealistic view of the partner or situation.  It is also linked to artistic abilities coming to the surface.  Neptune is linked with fantasy and visions while in direct motion but its energies turn to reality and dealing with facts when in retrograde.  Openheartedness and level-headedness linked to common sense are terms that could also be associated with Neptune’s retrograde cycles.

Since Neptune deals primarily with the mystical and spiritual side of our consciousness, during this time you may find that you realize more concrete solutions or answers to questions pertaining to these pursuits.  This applies particularly to those with Neptune retrograde in their birth charts.  Look to see which house Neptune is transiting through during this cycle and also look where Neptune is located in your birth chart. 

Remember if you have moved to a new area at least two hundred kilometres from where you were born, it is important to have your chart relocated.  This could change your chart drastically or in a minor way depending on the distance you have moved from your birth location.  A relocated chart should always be used when working with transits if you have moved from your birth position.

LOVE OPENS DOORS

Seek not from outside that can only truly be found within. 

Open the doors to true perception through visualization and awareness.  Love can only be found within.  It is ever present within and is begging to be recognized and shared.  Allow this emotion to flow freely not only on an emotion level but also on an instinctual level.

Love cannot develop through our intellect although we must recognize its presence.  Love is a living breathing energy that radiates outward once recognized and released.  It is ever-expansive and always seeks expansion.  It can never be lost, although if the mind is allowed to wonder off in different directions or on a different focus, it may appear as though it has been lost.

Love is available to everyone regardless of their characters and can be found at any level of understanding.  Even those that practice the most intrusive behaviours are loved.  Unfortunately many individuals misplace their love in material things.  Better still they mistake other emotions for love.  At times loves appears to be blemished by life events; however true love is pure and is forgiving.

To reconnect to love we must turn within.  If your world appears to be lacking in love, you have hidden it away deep within.  You cannot save love or lock it away.  It only flourishes when it is allows to flow freely.  Believe that you are worthy of love, especially self love, even if your mind says that you are not. 

Open your heart and allow its energy to shines bright.  It is calling you!  Love is your inner light, your core and it radiates warmth to the furthest reaches of life’s experiences.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT NATAL MOON

In Astrology when the Moon is involved, changes are common.  When Neptune is part of the equation these changes can become quite tedious and troublesome, unless you are quite accurate in determining exactly how to handle them.  Neptune tends to cloud things and when conjoined with the Moon not only can you expect change, although sometimes quite subtle, you can also expect these changes to be emotional in nature.

This transit can be considered psychic in nature and has the potential to inspire psychic abilities that may have been dormant for some time.  Now may be the time for them to surface unless the Moon or transiting Neptune is in the twelfth house, as sometimes the twelfth suggests hidden matters.  The twelfth can also suggest psychic abilities coming to the surface and you may be fighting to keep these abilities buried.  Watch for becoming confused or disoriented during this phase, as much that occurs may stem from the unconscious.

Watch for confusion with the emotions, as you may interpret feelings in one manner when it fact they are actually coming from a completely different direction.  Seeing things clearly is a challenge when it comes to Neptune although insight is also quite possible, as well as the potential to find solutions in the dream state.  You could actually program your dreams now and analyse them with more precision than you could at other times.

Since Neptune also relates to your ideals and the things that might fascinate you, it is important especially if the fifth or seventh houses are involved to make sure you are not falling in love with an ideal rather than seeing a potential romantic partner as they truly are.  You could fall deeply in love at this time and your emotions might run away with you.  It is advised that once the fog clears that you have another look (when the conjunction has passed).

Sometimes people can become hesitant, even unwilling to deal with cold hard facts during this conjunction.  They may be so caught up in the emotion of it energies that they push passed any adversity that might otherwise be a warning signal.  On the other hand, you might just have found your prince or princess charming.  Do not be afraid to ask others for their opinions, before you jump in head over heels.  An unemotional opinion may be helpful.  Keep one foot in the real world during this transit and this can be difficult. 

Make sure you check the house position of this connection to decipher which area of life will be involved and also have a look at the natal position of Neptune in your chart as this will provide additional details about what energies are available.  You should also look at how the Moon and Neptune are aspected in your birth chart, by other planets and positions and especially if they contact each other and what the contact is.  This plays a big part in defining how things might materialize during this aspect.
