SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON JUNE 3, 2023

June 3, we will be experiencing the Full Moon in the sign of Sagittarius at 13°. It is making a wide trine to T Mars which conjuncts this placement ten days later. On the Full Moon, Mars will be at almost 8° Leo, so out by 5°. The Sagittarius Full Moon is the harvest of what was put into place during the New Moon phase in the same sign some six months ago.

 

The trine from Mars suggests that an action plan is likely in place or that you can now push forward and see the results of your efforts since the New Moon phase. Mars suggests that more can be done and that although this is a culmination point, you can still push a little further with what is already in place. Mars is the driving agent and allows for further progress but not without effort.

 

Sagittarius’ energies such as travelling plans, publishing plans, new religious ideals, a new outlook on life from a very positive direction and a feeling that things are going to turn out fine are the focal points. There may be or have been a push for a greater identification with the spiritual side of life. Perhaps more meditation or joining some group with similar interests is in order. Life’s philosophy is going through changes, and you need to adapt.

 

If the motivation has not been in place for these goals (defined by the house placement of the Full Moon), then the planting of seeds, perhaps a goal to reach your objective or a letting go of things altogether, needs to be revisited. The house position defines areas of life that are involved and if this position of the Full Moon contacts any planet or angle in the natal chart especially by conjunction or opposition then this positioning will be relevant for you.

 

Have a look at what the natal chart defines and see how this amplifies what is already in place. After the conjunction and opposition then look at the square, trine and sextile. They must be within 3° of the Full Moon’s positioning to have consequence.

TRANSITING SATURN SEXTILE NATAL VENUS

T Saturn is currently (May 2023) in the sign of Pisces and remains there until February 15, 2026 when it moves into Aries. During its Piscean stay everyone with their N Venus in the signs Taurus or Capricorn will be experiencing a sextile from T Saturn to their N Venus. The time frame will depend on the degree of Venus in the birth chart.

 

T Saturn suggests that the time is ripe for learning and for lessons being taught through obstacles to overcome. Something often stands in the way of progress, and we must move through the challenge that Saturn presents. These are valuable lessons as Saturn is the disciplinarian and teaches us through perseverance and life experiences.

 

Saturn will, however, offer rewards for hard work and if we do not let things slide and work through its lessons, it provides a much richer foundation built to stand the test of time. It teaches us restraint, organization, discipline and patience.

 

Venus is often about love and affection and can also deal with our finances and our need to be social. Venus also has to do with young woman or women in general (Mars has to do with young men). Venus and Saturn often do not work well together and during hard transits it can suggest the breaking of relationships and hard lessons being taught. Sextiles are not considered hard aspects however. They are aspects of harmony and life moving along in a favourable manner. They suggest that an opportunity is at hand.

 

Saturn can solidify a relationship that has had its ups and downs and may promote it to move to the next level. Opportunities are at hand for favourable outcomes when love and affection are part of the life experience. This does not necessarily mean that life will flow smoothly as Saturn always suggests hard work and disciplined effort. It does suggest that the potential for an upturn in love or with the finances is possible. Check if your N Venus is aspected in the natal chart to get a clearer picture. LIFE IS COMPLICATED

Life is a complex series of events and experiences. We move through life and learn from each event. In many cases we must sift through our mind to understand some of these events. The people involved can take us to places we don’t want to go or in contrast show us places we never imagined possible. Life is complicated at times especially when there are hard lessons to learn. We are here to experience, however, and life is the teacher.

 

Regardless of how life unfolds, it is imperative to wrap our arms around it and know that no matter what comes our way we will grow from these experiences. If it was easy all the time, we would stagnate.

 

Some believe that are being here is a choice. Some believe that we picked this life and our life’s circumstances. This can be hard to grasp especially when we go through trauma and stressful experiences.

 

When we recognize that we must take responsibility for, at the bare minimum, our response to life, life can change. This does not mean that when someone harms us we take responsibility for their actions. What it does mean is that on some level it will assist us to grow and hopefully at some point let go and move on.

 

Life can be hard, but it can also be magnificent. Life is full of wonder and a life well lived encompasses both trying and pleasurable experiences.

SUN IN GEMINI TRANSITS

The Sun moved into Gemini (Mutable, Air, sign) on May 21, 2023.

Pluto is currently in Aquarius an Air sign although only for a short period of time when it moves back into Capricorn mid-June. Pluto will be making a trine to anyone with an early Sun sign in Gemini of perhaps up to 3°. Pluto is about transformation and change and can be subtle at first but over time (may take up to two years before the change is complete) Pluto will insist on something being let go so that the new can take its place. There are no halfway measures about Pluto and whatever it touches goes through dynamic change and a rebirth on some level. Much will depend on the houses involved in the chart as these determine the areas of life involved.

 

T Neptune is still in Pisces and will remain in this sign until 2025. Those with their Sun in the later degrees of Gemini will be experiencing the square between the Sun and T Neptune. The square suggests challenges and may blur reality. If this is a relationship, are you seeing it clearly?

Saturn remains in Pisces for about 2 ½ years so it will make a square to all Sun in Gemini at some point over this period.

 

Saturn is also a challenging planetary influence and often suggests that there will be hurdles to overcome, delays in reaching your objectives, potential shortfalls and often concerns about reaching your objectives. Saturn wants you to work diligently towards your goals, not to make them too lofty and to have a steady approach. Over time you may reach these goals or at least solidify your objectives and create stability.

SUN IN GEMINI

The Sun moved from Taurus (Fixed, Earth sign) into Gemini (Mutable, Air, sign) on May 21, 2023. Gemini as mentioned is a Mutable, Air sign suggesting that this is a thinking, conversationalist energy. Geminians enjoys learning and are quite adapt with these qualities. Gemini is adaptable, changeable and enjoys anything that involves education. Whether this be reading, schooling, or teaching, Geminians are open to interaction in these areas.

What is your response when someone speaks aggressively towards you?

 

Do you react or respond?

 

We all respond differently to aggression, both physically and emotionally.

 

Standing up and fighting for your rights is important but this should not come from a reactive state but a thought-out proactive state. Under no circumstance is a physical reaction acceptable.

 

We cannot do anything about someone else’s intension or action, but we can control our response. In any situation ask yourself if a stance is worth pursuing. Someone else’s actions should not be allowed to freely live in your mind or affect your emotions. The choice is yours. Remember, vengeance and violence are not a solution. Walking away is a sign of strength in many cases.

 

What happened in the past should stay in the past. What you do in the moment is a choice – react or respond.

 

Live in the moment.

 

Reaction can rise quickly but with practice and thoughtfulness, it can be controlled.

TRANSITING SATURN CONJUNCT NATAL DC

A conjunction with the natal DC will always include an opposition to the Ascendant. Conjunctions have to do with intensity and the merging of energies, while oppositions have to do with the influence of others and how it may affect us.

 

As transiting Saturn moves across your DC (conjuncts the DC) Saturn often suggests challenging conditions linked to a relationship of significance, often the marriage partner, a business associate or someone you may be in business with.

 

Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, often has to do with business or can be linked to achievement tied to your occupation, but while in conjunction with your DC there is often a strain on the partnership. This can feel like a testing period or a time when you may feel depressed because of the strain on the relationship. It can cause worry about what the future looks like because of the issues you are now experiencing.  It often requires effort to overcome the adversity that Saturn often suggests. Much will depend on other influences affecting life.

 

Saturn in Aquarius may have something to do with personal freedom and the desire to walk your own road. While Saturn in Pisces may have something to do with seeing the relationship in its true colors and knowing that something must be done. The 7th house often describes your partner or the type of individual that you might be attracted to.

 

Because of the conjunction to your DC, Saturn is also in opposition to your ASC suggesting that this can be very personal or affect you in personal ways. Others may know what is going on and in some cases the opposition suggests that it is other people causing the challenge. You may have to make personal changes or adapt to the situation but most likely it will not be easy.

 

If Saturn is well aspected this could speak of a relationship moving into a more solid, structured, and reliable situation. Perhaps the relationship moves to another level, which provides you with a solid foundation. Perhaps you have been single for a long time (Saturn in the 7th often suggests this or it can suggest a relationship with a mature or older individual) and now the relationship looks like it is ready to take the next step.
