Yesterday's Truth

As we delve deeper into our mystical pursuit, we discover new truths as they unravel.  These gradually intensify and deepen with time and commitment.  During meditation, we unlock these channels and perception increases as does are our alignment with source.  It is an ongoing venture.  We gather momentum for change and growth as our knowledge expands, knowledge that at one time was not forefront in our lives.

In the past, we may have been caught up in the crossfire of material living.  We moved from pure innocent spirit at birth into a disfigured form of illusion as we became more aware of our material world around us.  This illusion was also a tool for learning but learning to adjust to this material world.  As we mature, most of us have an inclination that there is more to this existence that our material focus.  Some know that there were other dimensions and alternate realities that are far more significant than the current one we living in, but also understand the relevance of living in this current environment.

Many have belief structures that are simply focused on everyday living and the struggle to survive in the material world.  Some became obsessed with the gathering of material things and financial hoarding.  Once consumed by this reality, it is difficult to see beyond this preoccupation.  The focus on collecting causes a longing for more and more.  We are under the illusion that by gathering things we could facilitate a sense of fulfillment and a longing for happiness that we so needed.

After spending wasted years wrapped up in material gathering, the lack of fulfillment aids us to embark on a new journey.  This is a journey of self-discovery and awareness as we understand that there is something beyond this tedious repetition.  The gathering of material abundance no longer provides happiness, for the happiness and fulfillment, if at all, was short lived.  This is when the search for a deeper meaning to life can begin.  Some explore traditional religion, spirituality, mysticism......our intuition becomes stronger and it pushes us forward into new and exciting realms.

Yesterday’s truths no longer fulfill our internal needs and the material world began to lose its stronghold.  As we slowly realize this new truth and open to its potential, we are enticed to continue.  We somehow appreciate that this line of expression and understanding prevails over anything from our past.  It is new yet comfortable.  It is as though we know this understanding instinctually.  It fits perfectly and we began to sense a new order of things that far outdoes anything of significance previously.  A forgotten truth is emerging and our footprints are imbedded within its framework.

As time passes, we no longer recognize past obsessions as part of our reality.  There is no reason to look back but if we did we would find just how far removed that once encompassing reality is from our present focus. 

Letting go and moving into the unknown can be unsettling.  We can resist initially but the need for peace and fulfillment pushes us to abandon our fears.   We are now forever transformed.

Between the Ages of 38 & 44

We are going to take a look at what is called the beginning mid-life turning point at ages 38-44. This is a turning point when we grow from early adulthood personality into a more evolving personality--reconciling and developing into a personality with which we are more comfortable.  This is a time when we are restructuring ourselves on a more profound level.  A sense of individualization is starting to shine through due to the major influences taking place in our lives. 

We are experiencing transiting Saturn in trine to its natal position and Neptune in square to its natal position.  These signify inner transformations and a realistic approach to who we truly are. 

There may even be a feeling of urgency with our quest at this point in our lives.  Our ego and the ongoing search for “who am I?” are undergoing alterations in our consciousness, for those individuals that feel they need answers. 

There are neither formal guidelines nor a book called “Mid-life Crises 101”.  No one can say they are prepared, particularly because no one knows exactly what to expect.  Each individual goes through their own personal challenges and then an awakening takes place.  This is a time of great soul searching and a desire for inner change which often coincides with outer change, as one seems to affect the other.

The body is also undergoing physical changes during this time in our lives, and those who have placed too much attention on physical appearance may become depressed with what they see in the mirror.  Many will now go deep within to find out what they actually have to offer, as the appearance has been held in an elevated position most of their lives.  The ego is actually in a somewhat delicate state, as the inner self gains supremacy and control, at least for those who are searching for something more.

This is often considered a turning point as we truly begin to question who we are and relentlessly want answers.  Many turn to deeper subjects such as astrology and the mystical side of life, furthering their pursuit and hoping to find answers to some truly profound questions.  This is an awakening stage as many who have been wrapped up in the material world now somehow come up feeling empty and want greater meaning to their lives.

Doors that have been locked are now beginning to open and a deep restlessness is awakening within.  The search continues and those longing for answers begin to question their existence.  They open the channels from within and make more intimate contact with the inner self.  The process has begun.  We raise our consciousness and continue on with our mission.

At age 42, we are also experiencing the Uranus opposition with itself.  This intensifies the search and often we reach for something new to bring to the forefront of life.  Some reach out radical solutions and this is when people become bored with life and want something that is exciting and exhilarating.  There is a bit of an eccentric flavour bursting within our personality.  Many find this newly found personality which is developing within reaching out to find satisfaction beyond the normal material confines of life.  Their outlook becomes a bit erratic and different.

These life expressions are sprung on us and we make untimely changes that will affect those around us.  This is often quite disruptive for family members that are accustom to life being steady, solid and secure.  Some leave their marriage partners and start a new life.  In many cases, the change is sudden and comes without much warning. 

For those that have not yet experienced this life event, you should be ready for change and transformation as this is a very intense period.  Be ready for disruption in all that if normal.  You will welcome change and that which is new.

Fear Factor

As we venture deep within, the mind begins to shift from the reality of physical and material living into the fields of mystical and spiritual insight.  This is known as the awakening phase and creates a clearer connection with source.  It is our birth right to capture this connection and experience it to the fullest; however, there is one small detail that has to be recognized and controlled....and that would be the relentless struggle of the ego. 

The ego can be an unyielding force that has to be put into its appropriate place and used in a positive manner to gain insight and clarity.  The ego’s true purpose is to assist us, not interfere with our journey. 

As we move through our evolving story of spiritual awakening, there are times when fear stands in the way of progress.  Fear holds us back and presents us with obstacles and challenges that distort our true consciousness.  Some of us allow fear to grow as we open up to the forces inherent in our unfolding evolution.  Hollywood has planted the seeds of demons or outside influences that threaten to pierce our armour of light and love.  If allowed to flourish, fear can halt us in our tracks.

Some fear encounters of beings along their path which might threaten their otherwise pure journey.  It is essence to confront this fear head on.  Are you not on a spiritual journey?  Do you have faith?  Are you in the hands of God?  What are your motives for making this journey?  Do you question your own motives? 

If you conclude that your ongoing awakening is pure in spirit and you are working from beyond the ego’s interference, then you need to ask yourself if the powers that be, the God force around us, the pure essence we strive to return to, would permit any dark interference.   Would a spiritual being allow harm to take place?  Would pure essence not protect you from such forces, if they were to exist?

Because you are on this quest for love, enlightenment and joining in oneness with the source of this expression, you are protected.  Nothing can penetrate this barrier and infiltrate your beingness.  You are protected by the greatest source of all. 

The distorted ego understands that it is losing control and fears this.  Because of this instinctual reaction, it uses whatever means it has to get the control back.  Fear is the ultimate weapon.

The controlled ego is actually a wonderful companion.  It can guide you through self-doubt and strengthen your resolve in the face of any adversity once it regains its rightful place.

Ego’s controlling fear has been fed by Hollywood and its man-made fictional characters.  These concepts are foreign to our actual process of finding our alignment with the one within, with the rejoining once again with our source and the light. 

Let go of the fear that holds you back and know that you are protected by your source.  Negative elements in life are not real in the sense that they hold little relevance in our ongoing journey.  They have no stronghold on you and the only thing you need to fear is fear itself.  You are held within the grasp of holiness and love.  Peace is yours if you have conviction in that which you trust.

The Sun Sign vs the Rising Sign

The difference between the Sun sign and the Rising sign is that the rising sign defines how we express ourselves to the outside world and our reaction to life events as seen by others; whereas the sun sign defines our inner most self which those that do not know us would not see. 

An individual may have their Sun sign in Aquarius but may have an extreme influence from another sign.  For example this Sun in Aquarius individual may have a Taurus rising sign with several planets in the second house, which is ruled by Taurus.  This individual would express themselves with strong Taurus tendencies, although the Aquarius overtones would still be present but much more subdued.

An individual with a Sun sign in Aquarius and other links in the same sign or in the eleventh house would be considered somewhat of a bohemian, an eccentric and perhaps even odd in comparison to someone with a strong link to Taurus.  Whereas, the Taurus tendency individual would not be as freedom motivated and would prefer stability in life, such as having a secure foundation to live within.  This person would be more reliable, consistent and would be security oriented.  The Taurus tendency individual would seek a profession that would provide this and would support the need for financial security.

Someone with a strong Aquarius emphasis in their chart would be more inclined to reach out into uncomfortable areas where the need for evolution and knowledge would far outweigh financial security.  They would have their heads in the clouds and would be considered by those that are able to digest their complex nature as being ahead of their time.  Their ideas might seem far-fetched and future oriented.  They would be the bearers of knowledge that might be unattainable for many and difficult to digest.  They would be willing to share their ideologies with anyone willing to listen.

The strong Taurus individual would prefer to be more down to earth and would digest information on a different level and probably keep a lot of what they would have learned contained within.  This information would be only available to the selected few.  The Taurus individual would be quite comfortable within the confines of their home and would be slower at digesting information although they would probably hang on to this knowledge and understand it on a deeper level.

Aquarius individuals are group oriented and enjoy the company of likeminded individuals, while the Taurus individual may be more of a loner, although many Aquarius people are loners as well but in their own way.  The Taurus individual would be a little less comfortable sharing their ideas which would be based on a much more solid foundation and would have more merit to the average individual than the lofty ideals that the Aquarius individual might possess. 

Aquarius individuals know they are unique and do not mind being thought of in this manner.  They are intellectuals and freedom seekers and their wish is to dissect pertinent information and then spread this knowledge to the world around them.  Their astrological symbol of the Man pouring water out of a pitcher, spreading his wisdom to the masses clearly tells this story.  Aquarius wants to shake our foundations and make us look close at our objectives in life, ever reaching for higher ground and establishing ourselves as unique individuals.  The Aquarian wants humanity to climb the mountain of life, released from the burden of material and obstructive living.  They are known as the awakeners and strive to create a new found freedom which will release us from the bounds of habitual thoughts that stagnates growth.

This Aquarius Sun, Taurus Rising individual would have a push and pull conflict on occasion due to the varied qualities of the two signs.

Blockages

Do you find yourself struggling with life matters that just do not seem to want to go away?  Are you feeling ill or unhappy?  Do you tend to worry excessively?  These are all symptoms of mental or emotional blockages.  With these issues in life, we either fail to recognize them or we try to ignore them with the hope that they will go away.

Your external or material world is a mirror image of what is taking place internally.  When you find that life presents you with continual conditions that seem to hinder or challenge you, it is suggested that you have an honest look at what is happening internally.  Most likely you will have to make internal changes that will reverberate into your material world.  Immediately upon making internal changes, your material world will begin to change. 

It can be difficult to accept that the challenges we are facing actually originate from within.  With so many external events that occur out of our control, we fail to take responsibility for our lives. 

Change can be difficult but sometimes it is the only solution that can release us from life’s sometimes challenging conditions.  More often than not, the change required is simply a change of how we are looking at situations.

Remember, that all that we need in this life is at our disposal.  All ingredients needed to promote these changes that are necessary are available.  These changes are often a requirement that will help us move forward in our chosen direction.  These changes will assist us in overcoming or meeting any dilemma head on.  These challenges can be referred to as blockages to our growth if we do not meet them head on. 

With periodic reviews of our journey, we can recognize even the most minute hurdles along our journey.  View them objectively.  If they are left in place, what potential do they create in our future?  These so called blockages if left to grow can eventually manifest as illnesses and physical conditions such as headaches, muscle tightness and even minor or major mental confusion.

Choose whether to leave them in place or to tear them down.   You may decide to continue along the same path, after tearing down the blockage, or you may not appreciate the challenge and choose not to push ahead, venturing off onto a new path.

Sometimes the hurdles seem as though they are there for a reason and in most cases they are.  Acknowledge them and be open.  Many times dialogue or events will magically happen around us that will spark a solution for tearing down our hurdles. 

We have to ask ourselves if there is something that we can do within to facilitate the transformation that needs to come out into the open.  Attitude is often the greatest catalyst for change.  Changes to our attitude or belief structures will often produce a release of tension that has built up over time.  If the challenge seems to resonate from outside in your material world, it means that the issue has had time to build and is now present through manifestation.  We have to look at the issue, whatever it may be, and purposely and honestly look at what we can do to help alleviate the challenge.

Change is often difficult, yet challenges in life need to be addressed.  Our focus sometimes needs to shift from what we do not have to the recognition of what we actually do have.  We may also have to come to terms with conditions in our lives and then take the appropriate action to challenge the conditions in order to eventually remove them from our lives. 

We all deserve to be happy.  Our lives are meant to expand and teach us through its events.  We may have to come to terms with what life is trying to teach us and then do what must be done. 

Never give in to life’s conditions.  Stay strong and understand that we are resilient enough to challenge and conquer any circumstance.  We cannot be too hard on ourselves and accept that we will get over each hurdle if we choose to continue on this given path.  Life will provide us with what is required to get to the next level. 

We must have faith in our life’s course and know that we are where we need to be, always.

You are Ready

Moving forward along our path, we are enlightened along the way often encouraged to follow an untrodden course...at least this is how it feels.  The road looks new and exciting, and we feel as though few have walked this route before us.  This road is well traversed, however.  If you look carefully, you will notice that the path is well worn.

This route was mapped out long ago and we walk it with many others.  Picture this in your mind.  Imagine a flow of people venturing down this path of twists and turns.  Picture it as a path with rolling hills and valleys and bountiful beauty on all sides.  Although it feels new to you, you walk this road with many others, and many more have ventured down it before you.  You are not alone in your journey and you can feel this as you visualize the road.

This road is the path to enlightenment, awakenment...a turning point is life.  Do not fear venturing off and getting sidetracked from time to time as this is normal and the path is easily found again.  Understand that you are not here by chance and that the time is right.  You are ready for this journey or you would not be here.

We seek tranquility and a peace response to life.  The road in front of us leads us there.  This road is the path to unconditional love.   This path has been patiently waiting for us and the time has come that we take that step, that leap of faith and venture forward into personal unknown and uncharted territories.

We can take our time as we wander along the pathway.  We should be open to dialogue with ourselves and stay open to dialogue with others that we meet.  We all have much to learn.  Feel free to question, but be prepared for the honest, frank answers as the truth is not always pleasant.  The reflection we see around us is constantly changing, as it is a reflection of ourselves.  The changes that are taking place within are the changes that we see around us.  Our road is a mirror of where we are in our lives.  If we do not like what we see, we must have a look at what we might need to do with our lives to alter our external vision.  It is not others that create this external viewpoint.  It is generated from within.

There will be key points along the road where there are symbolic benches and individual seats where we can sit and take in the scenery.  These are resting points and these are there so that we can stop and smell the roses.  These are times of solitude as well as times to reflect on who we are and where we have come from, although the past no longer seems important.

We can venture forth with confidence knowing that we are on the path that has been waiting for us.  It is important to feel free to ask for advice from the people we meet and also the silent bystanders that are with us on our venture.  They are our guides and are readily available upon request to offer guidance along the way.  They are our guardian angels, our helpers and they can always be counted on when we need them. 

You are never alone, although you might feel as though you are.  Take that walk.  You are ready!

Astrology Charts and Young Children

We have been asked if it is appropriate to have their children’s natal chart prepared.   Is there an age limit and when is it best to have their transits and progressions done?  Would an Astrology chart be helpful for the parents in assisting their children with utilizing their strengths and weaknesses?

A parent could commission the preparation of their child’s birth chart at any point in their lives.  Some parents prefer to have their child’s chart prepared shortly after their child’s birth and others have it prepared when their children are a bit older. 

A Child Empowerment chart is essentially a birth or natal chart prepare for the parents.  The Child Empowerment chart takes a close look at the child’s temperament, their emotional needs and how their mind will respond to learning material and stimuli.  It speaks about their strengths as well as any challenges that they may have.  This chart offers the parents suggestions on how the child may gather information and the best or most appropriate way to handle their emotional displays and emotional interactions with others according to Astrological insights provided by the birth indicators.

As mentioned, these charts are written for an adult interpret and are not written for the child.  This chart will offer suggestions on how to utilize the potential found in the chart as well as suggestions on how to utilize the child’s primal characteristics based on astrological data reflected in the birth chart.

The chart would be comprehensive and in depth.  If there were deep psychological concerns that would surface within the chart indicators or health related issues, we would recommend seeking professional advice as we are neither a doctors nor a psychiatrist.  There would, however, be suggestions on how to deal with other youth related issues and also suggestions into ways of assisting these young individuals to enhance their skills and god-given talents.  It would read much like an adult chart, except it would be written for the parents concerning their child.

If the child is quite young, it is recommended that only a natal chart be commissioned as transits or progression are completed for individuals who have an understanding of their personal complexities and situations. 

Transits and Progressions are usually recommended for individuals completing high school and entering into college or university.  We would provide these individuals with opportunistic approaches to gaining insight into their ever expanding life circumstances.  We speak about the challenges that they may encounter but will focus on positive reinforcement providing some insight and assistance with the best ways to move forward in their lives.  We would utilize a philosophic approach with mystical inclinations and spiritual insight in these reports

Spiritually Attuned

Ours is a journey of enlightenment and an escalating venture encompassed by many.  Our mission is to absorb all that we can learn, to merge the lessons of this earthy experience to assist our higher selves and return to our pure essence.

Our hurdles along our path are lessoned through meditation and other techniques that enhance our ongoing process.  Through meditation we slowly open channels to the perpetually evolving story.  This practice is essential although in the early stages it can be tedious.  Persistence is the key.  Like any other exercise, it is hard work in the beginning, but with practice, the mind will quieten down to allow our inner self, our guides and our pure essence to share.  The deeper we go, the further we reach and the closer we come to our true awakening.

With practice, we clear out our obstacles and inner fears that hold us back.  Challenging conditions will be faced and the journey is by no means an easy one.  Life unfolds as it should and we are presented with lessons to assist in our learning.  True peace and acceptance resonates from within and in turn is reflected in the world around us, not the other way around.

The process is gradual but steady as long as we stay on course and quieten the ego’s voice. 

Allowing is the most difficult challenge and only comes when we release control and accept that all of our life’s events are placed in our journey simply for our growth in our ongoing evolution.  This is not to say that we simply sit back and let life dictate.  Push forward with enthusiasm and appreciation but do not emotionally fight those things that are.  We have full control of our attitude towards our lessons.

We nurture our own personal growth by listening to the guiding voice within.  It assists us in times of need.  This gentle and persuasive assistance is generated from within although also linked with the higher realms of existence.  Our spiritual guides assist in the on-going process.  Life always offers alternative routes to follow, each leading us through our ongoing evolution.  Our journey will be much easier if we listen to our inner self and our guides.  We are, however, the masters of our own personal journey.  We have the choice of taking the meandering course or the direct route, the easy path or the path filled with obstacles.  The best route is the route we learn the most from.  We always have control over our attitude towards our journey; we can allow it to knock us down and decide to stay down or it can knock us down and we can jump up with even more determination to win each battle as they are faced.  Which do you prefer? 

If you are in search for truth, expansion, enlightenment.....follow your heart.  Listen to the quiet voice of wisdom and seek love.  You cannot go wrong.

Sun in Aquarius in Astrology

The Sun moves into the sign of Aquarius on January 21^st.  This post applies to those individuals with the Sun in the sign of Aquarius.  This is the sign of the water bearer which symbolically represents these individuals spreading their ideas and new thoughts into the world.  They are quite willing to spread their word and are particularly happy when it is well received.  Their intention is to bestow the world with new ideas and also involve others in this progression.

Aquarius individuals are the visionaries of the zodiac and have the ability to see far into the future and find ways to make the world a better place for everyone.  They are humanitarian and are very conscious of the influence they might have on their environment.  If only they could spread the word.  Their mission is a noble one with the general good of all intended.  They are progressive thinkers with excellent reasoning abilities and they truly want to provide something for others to share and incorporate into their lives.

They are sympathetic and compassionate with a genuine concern for those around them.  Their ideas can be radical and even rebellious, and they are against any type of constraint.  Freedom seekers, they reach out beyond the confines of what could be considered normal, extending themselves beyond rational thinking.  They are often thought of as trailblazers with progressive, intuitive ideologies in the forefront of their thinking.   Aquarians want to change the world and make it a better place for everyone to live.  They will patiently try to shake others away from complacency, pushing them into new and unexplored regions of their own minds.

As mentioned, they are progressive thinkers and anything that has become stale and no longer serves a purpose, they insist on changing.  When their views are obstructed or interfered with they can easily become impatient and temperamental.  They are very fixed in their opinions with an intention of providing what others need on a mental level. 

The thinking process is considered quite logical and they have a broad focus.  It is all about evolution and bringing in the new with advancement on their minds.  Aquarians believe they are right and will follow along a planned route towards a given target.  They can be somewhat rebellious but have no problem admitting to this; some are even radical in their ideas and considered quite different.  They actually enjoy this.

If you make a friend with an Aquarian, you will never be bored.  They have an adventurous spirit and love wide open spaces.  There is actually a real need for freedom and a need to roam.  Being tied down does not sit well with the average Aquarian.

The Art of Forgiveness

During times of extreme hurt or disappointment due to our reaction to someone else’s actions or lack of action, are we still able to forgive?  Are we able to separate ourselves from the mind’s and the ego’s reaction?  Are we strong and secure enough not to feel hate and bitterness towards this individual?  Regardless of the action, do you have the strength to forgive?  How can you move forward beyond this hurt or disappointment?

We physically and emotionally hurt ourselves when we allow ourselves to feel hostility, revenge and hate.  Forgiveness is not an easy task, especially when atrocious acts have been carried out.  Letting go and moving forward can be difficult, as the mind and the ego relentlessly wants some type of justice or revenge.  Things may not seem fair and in many cases they are not, but somehow we must learn to forgive even the most dreadful actions.

Hanging on to hate and wanting vengeance actually works against us, causing disease and stress.  Are we not lowering our standards or ideologies by allowing these dark emotions continual life?  Do these emotions not stand in our way of moving forward in our spiritual development? 

How can we learn to forgive when someone takes away something we treasure, like our resilience, our serenity or our hope? 

There are many reasons why others act out in ways that we do not understand and cause at times agonizingly painful experiences.  Some of these individuals come from horrific backgrounds that we would not want to ever dream of.  Does this negate their actions?  No; but perhaps one day they will fully comprehend the results of their actions.

To live your life in pursuit of justice and to be filled with hate and the need for revenge can only provide you with a place of sorrow, anger, resentment and dis-ease.  This place can never offer solace or peace.  Letting go and forgiving is perhaps the hardest thing that you will have to do in your life but one that you have to do for yourself. 

Forgiveness is the ultimate goal and this generates the ability for more inspiring, productive untold stories to surface.......stories, events that are waiting to be released.  Karma will be the judge and the jury, and it does not need your input.  Allow love to grow even from the darkest corners of your being and watch the repercussions of this action.   This is the story waiting to be told.   Inspiration cannot bloom in the darkness of hate and sorrow.

Tearing Down the Old

There are times in life when we should review where we have been, take a look around to confirm where we currently are and to anticipate but not dwell on where we might be going.  We are forever evolving yet holding on to old, outdated habits, actions and people that no longer fit into our progression.  This hoarding only creates difficulties.  If these “things” are holding us back and creating hurdles perhaps it is time to make a shift.  We should always be moving forward in life, evolving on a constant basis, even if only in minute increments. 

Holding on to how life used to be serves little purpose.  What “was” may no longer be relevant to where we are heading and may actually be holding us back.  Letting go can also be challenging, whether this is a long standing relationship where all parties involved are so far apart that they no longer suit one another, an occupation that no longer fits the new self that is emerging, or an old set of philosophies that now stagnate our growth.  Moving forward has its challenges but holding on might be far more detrimental to us in the long haul.

Having a future goal in mind can help us to continue with the growth that is necessary.  We can set our goals to a reachable yet challenging level.  We can strive for something that is attainable yet challenge ourselves for growth.  We might even want to set a date for when we want to materialize something significant into our lives.  Some find it helpful to keep a log of the progression to obtaining what that something might be and then as we maneuver ever closer to that objective, evaluate our progress and log it. 

These logs can be great reflective materials down the road to see just how far we have actually come.  Take little notes on how change has taken place as well as the mirror reflection in our outside environment.  If we do not like what we see, we can then look within and see what we might do to take charge of the condition and make those alterations so that we are happy with what we see.

The future can be a little uncertain but would we rather stand still and stagnate or move forward experiencing the excitement of growth?  Venture forth knowing that evolution is essential, no matter how difficult it may be.  No matter how challenging life becomes, know that we have prepared this route beforehand and acknowledge ownership of all that is and all that will be.

There is nothing wrong with striving for a goal.  It is part of our evolution but the only true moment we have is the current one.  Living in the here and now is essential.  The past is gone, the future is unpredictable but what we see is right there in front of us is.  Life is this very instant and living in the now is all that exists. 

This moment is eternal.  It is inexhaustible.  Live life to its fullest and enjoy each and every moment.

Techniques in Forecasting in Astrology

Once we are familiar with the basics in astrology, such as the signs, houses and aspects, we have a firm foundation for creating an Astrological horoscope.  The birth chart is a precise tool that will delineates the character traits of any individual.  From birth or natal chart to birth or natal chart, there are many variations found within, and this is what defines each of us as unique personalities.

Once we have a good foundation of the principals of the natal chart, we can move on to study upcoming transits and progressions.  These tools are used in Astrology to decipher what potential future events and areas of life that will be affected by the passing of the planetary giants in our solar system.

We have to take into consideration all the planets but pay particular attention to the outer planets, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto as well as any inner planets that are in retrograde motion for a prolonged period of time. 

The inner planets move very quickly through the zodiac and under general conditions do not affect us with any long term effects as their impact on us is a very short periods of time.

The outer planets and retrograde planets passing over sensitive points in our birth chart, particularly the Ascendant and the Midheaven can have profound effects on our lives and these often point towards turning points or significant life events that can alter our perception or instigate action that changes our acuity and sometimes point towards changes to our lives. 

The most powerful transit takes place when a transiting planet conjuncts a natal sensitive point or planetary body.  The energies of the planets merge and become one.  Under many conditions, the energies of these planets intensify as do the indicators of the houses where these planets are located in the birth chart.  The houses are areas of life and the transiting planet will intensify these points and may produce profound life altering effects.  This is especially true when several transiting planets are repeating the same message.

The outer planets can be within an orb of influence for up to two to three years depending on when they go into retrograde motion and when they become direct again.  The first impact when a transiting planet makes an important aspect to another planet or a direct aspect to a natal point will be the strongest. 

An example of this might be Saturn conjunction Mars at 15 degree of Aries.  Both planets become direct when the transiting planet is exactly 15 degrees Aries.  This applies to squares, a 90 degree aspect, the opposition, a 180 degree aspect and other major aspects (the trine, sextile) as well as the minor aspects (the semi-sextile, the semi-square and so forth).  The major aspects are more significant than the minor aspects and the challenging aspects usually promote transitional times in our lives.

There are several progressed aspects that are also important determining factors when deciphering a birth chart and the potential for change in a person’s life. 

We will look at the progressions at a later date.  Suffice to say that the progressions are more internal in their nature.  You will use the progressed Moon, transiting Mars as well as the transiting Sun and transiting Uranus as timers, as they often produce a push that activates the energies of the outer planets and often signifies an event or culmination producing internal insight.

This just touches on how to delineate potential life events as well as the timing as to when these events may unfold.  The area of life affected will be described by the houses involved in the transit or progression, as well as the natal placement of the transiting planets by aspect and house placement.

Seeing Relationships for What They Truly Are

When we enter into a meaningful relationship, it should be understood that it is not by chance that we have come together.  It does not matter whether the relationship is an easy one or a challenging one; there is always something to take from any relationship.  We are not suggesting that we should remain in a relationship that over time has becomes detrimental but their connection had value to our growth.

There are some individuals that seem to suck the life out of others.  There are some individuals that mistreat those that they are in relationship with.  Our relationships with these individuals are put in place to experience some type of growth but as we begin to feel the relationship wavering and it no longer serves to promote something positive in our lives, it may be time to walk away.  Frequently, we are guilty of becoming too familiar or secure within the framework of any relationship and the idea of leaving the union, even when it is a detriment, is very difficult.

We are meant to live together or share in one another’s energies to facilitate growth.  When the time comes that our union is no longer working as it should, as difficult as it may be to leave and move forward, if leaving is warranted then it is imperative that you do just that.  We have come into this life to learn through experience, but we are also meant to enjoy our lives.  This is our birth right and we are not put into this existence to suffer and undergo misery on an ongoing basis.  Life is to be lived with love and compassion and if we choose to share our life in an intimate relationship, this union should assist in our spiritual growth.

When we do find a meaningful relationship, one that offer potential for enlightenment and a shared learning that promotes happiness, we begin to feel a sense of meaning beyond the self and shared love that will move us in directions that harbour moments of sheer joy not misery.  Most relationships experience turbulent times and we are certainly not suggesting that when the going gets tough, you pack up and leave.  There is a difference between abusive relationships and relationships that require a little work.

Life continually changes and to offer different experiences but our reaction to these events is within our full control.  Can we honestly expect that someone will come magically into our lives and change our perception and our attitude?  No one can do this but us.  Outside influences are reflections of what is taking place within.  When you are unhappy with a given situation see what needs to be addressed within before you start laying blame on the outside environment.  Taking conscious control and accepting full responsibility for our lives helps us to understand that it is not someone else that creates our joy or misery.  Our joy and misery stems from belief structure and expectation. 

Recognize the control that we have in our lives and accept our responsibility for the events that take place.  We should move forward in a chosen direction that will help to facilitate the lessons and experience that assist us in uncovering our own life’s mission.  Our appropriate partners, if we chose to have one, will fall into place as our momentum increases.  We will discover those individuals that fit into the current conditions and future potential that resonate with these requirements. 

In any relationship and especially with our intimate relationships, we should not ask what our partners can do for us; instead bring forth what it is that our partners need from us.   Life is a giving process that evolves in direct proportion to what it is that we do and how we live our lives.  In most cases, we are meant to be with those important people and will gain relevant information and growth from that experience.  Nothing is by chance and everything serves a purpose.
