Uranus’ energies relate to upheaval, unexpected
change, drastic action and awakening. Its
action is sudden, and is dramatic but it often leading towards a required development
and inspiration that can develop over time.
Sometimes the forces lead to catastrophic change in life, brought about
through outside forces but they will lead to a much more evolved understanding
in life. Uranus often provides us with
insight into what it is in life that needs change and suggests a new direction
is a requirement of the soul.
If you follow through on Uranus’s
suggestions, the disruption, although often dynamic, will not be as shattering
and aw-inspiring as it would be if you were not to move forward into these new
directions. If you are hesitant or
refuse to budge, the result is often much more forceful and it can sometimes
disrupt your life.
The Midheaven or MC deals with your
occupation and your profession. It has
to do your status in life and public recognition. It is a very powerful when transits stimulate
this position. Your aspirations and
dreams are also associated with the MC as well as the way you represent yourself
to other. The MC depicts how you are regarded
by others because of what you have or have not accomplished usually through
your profession. It can also depict how
others see you with regard to where you stand because of your life’s influence
on others. Your individuality is often a
reflection of what you do for a living and the standards you set for
yourself.
Again these traits and opinions are linked
to the Midheaven but also the Ascendant, although the Ascendant is more of an
outward expression of who you are, as seen by the public.
When Uranus makes a conjunction (conjunctions
emphasis whatever they are transiting), the area of your Career is subject to
change. If you have been reasonably content
or actually thrilled about how life is moving along with respect to your career,
this conjunction may provide you with even more opportunities and also recognition
for your efforts. If your work and
career opportunities have been stifled and you need a change of scenery, this
will probably be the time when these changes are most likely to happen.
Uranus wants to break free of anything that
has been restricting growth and limiting you.
It seeks out new things and pushes you in a direction (although not
often by choice) and moves you towards a new path. Uranus (although often disruptive) is known
as the awakener and forces you to open your eyes and see things as they are. It often makes you realize that a new
direction is inevitable. Why then would
we not move toward it now and make the transition as easy as possible?
The midheaven is also related to the parents. Some Astrologers feel that it is the Mother. Others believe it is the Father. This Astrologer has noted that often it is
the parent that has the greatest impact in your life. When Uranus conjuncts, squares or makes any major
aspect to the MC, it is quite possible that you will see changes coming to your
parents. The harder aspects (square,
opposition and conjunction) often suggest changes of an unsettling nature. The easier aspects such as the trine and
sextile and sometimes the conjunction may offer opportunities and pleasant
changes. This could relate to either of
your parents although the most forceful or aggressive one is usually the one
that will be impacted by this aspect.
With all this information in mind and when
you are about to go into a transit of importance affecting the MC, you may be
more ready for change and you can use these energies appropriately to help you
move in the intended direction.
Remember Astrology points the way but in
most cases you are in the driver’s seat.
You have opportunities to make these changes for yourself or at the very
least have the potential to direct your thoughts and attitude towards changes
that happen in your life.
