This is a time of awakening for many.  We recognize that we are on a specific path of our own choosing.  We know that we create with our thoughts.  We are open to understanding how the ego operates and the hold it tries to maintain on us.  We can recognize ego’s voice, although it can certainly be manipulative. 

Have you ever wondered why you chose to return as the person you are?  Have you ever questioned why you picked this specific time and why it is so significant?

Why now during such uncertainty and turmoil?  Each of us has our part in the process.  Many may feel that their part is minor, yet the overall compounded contributions by each of us can have a profound effect.

 

There will be times that we have to remind ourselves that we have chosen this life with all of its ups and downs.  Each event, somehow, leads to our development and growth.  We must honour ourselves and live up to our own personal standards.   We must be persistent in our efforts yet accept that there will be times that we will sway.  This is okay; we are at this moment in human form.  We will always find our way back on path when we silence our mind and open our hearts.  If we doubt ourselves, we can question, “Is this ego’s voice?” or “Will this assist me?”.  We will always find reliability answers when we confront issues with these questions if we are honest with ourselves and open.

Our reality, which we are constantly creating, is but our focus in this moment, a formulated thought.  Pay close attention to what it is that you are creating.  Remind yourself of who you truly are, a spiritual being residing in a physical body.  You are as powerful as any other creation because you are part of Source energy.  We have a part in assisting with the alleviation of the struggle of those less fortunate, those less understanding, those that are caught up in ego’s battle for control throughout human existence?

TRANSITING JUPITER TRINE THE SUN

When transiting Jupiter makes a trine to your Natal Sun, this can be a most positive experiences.  The trine can last as much as 3 to 4 months if Jupiter goes retrograde during the aspect.  You can give this aspect a fairly wide orb of influence stretching out as much as 5 to 7 degrees approaching and still being in effect as much as 3 to 4 degrees separating.

Jupiter brings with it good luck and opportunities and this could manifest in many areas of life; much depends on which house Jupiter will be transiting through as well as the house in which your Sun is located.  These will be areas of life that will be generating good fortune and important issues into your life.  You may find that you are feeling self-confident during this time and you feel as though you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.  Your optimism helps to make some of these things materialize.

Sometimes goals and objectives that you have been working on come to fruition during this time frame.  It is also a great time when it comes to financial matters, that is unless you have other mitigating factors affecting this area of life.  Unless Saturn is involved in a negative sense, you have a lot of push in your favour but you should make sure that you take advantage of these opportunities, as some will feel so comfortable that you just want to wait for opportunities to come to you.  This is a time to broaden your material horizons and things may fall into place quite nicely.  Just watch for overspending as Jupiter tends to exaggerate and expand anything it touches including spending.

In general, your health should be quite robust during this time as well and if you are not looking after yourself properly now might be the time to push yourself a little and improve conditions.  There are those that put on weight during this time as once again Jupiter expands.  This is particularly true if Jupiter is passing over your ascendant.  Exercise is suggested especially if you can find ways to enjoy the great outdoors.   Jupiter loves expansive and open places and nature is right up its energies’ alley.

Jupiter also has its connections to travel--usually long distance travel.  If you are not able to travel you can do so in your mind.  Jupiter is attached to higher learning and religious doctrines, and anything spiritual may have a greater than normal appeal to you.

At present, Jupiter is in the sign of Libra and will remain in Libra most of this year (2017).  Libra is a balancing sign and is connected to partnership, enjoyment and socializing.  This could be a great year to make things happen in relationships of importance.  You may decide to get married or engaged during this time and in most cases the timing is good. 

Enjoy life.  This is part of our purpose here on earth and this period suggests that you do just that.  Have fun, share your life and seek harmony and peace.  You can’t ask for any more than that.  Enjoy!

NEW MOON IN AQUARIUS JANUARY 27, 2017

With the New Moon falling in Aquarius on January 27, 2017, we will be provided with an opportunity to make a new start with something that will manifest over time and help us move forward in our objectives.  These objectives might focus around humanitarian concerns beginning with your friends and neighbors with the Aquarius influence.  We might as well begin close to home or even in the home.

Aquarius is a forward thinking sign.  Perhaps it is a little ahead of its time, but always thinking in terms of helping others (as well as themselves) move out from places or situations which have stagnated them.  This can touch on various actions but mostly likely will include manoeuvring yourself into a position that might have some impact on the world around you.  Make sure peace and equality are high on the agenda and that whatever you are trying to push forward with is beneficial for all those involved.

Sometimes making changes can be difficult, but they are usually necessary.  Remaining in a difficult and stagnated situation serves little purpose.  Aquarius’ purpose it to make you realize that there is more out there waiting for you and you do not have to be satisfied with anything less than what you rightfully deserve.  This could include a relationship that you have been putting off because you just don’t think that you have what it takes, or a career move that frightens you because of your belief that you have potential shortcomings.  If you have thought these things through and you are only holding back because of ego downplaying your abilities, you might just want to make that decision and take the plunge.

Aquarius wants to break free of restriction and find new avenues of expression.  It dares you to walk away from what feels comfortable, has now gone stale and offers little new potential.  Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius along together with Saturn.  These two planets’ energies do work a little against one another.  Uranus is the trend breaker, the freedom seeker, the creator of the new wave movement, while Saturn is the one that wishes things to remain the same and is uncomfortable with anything new or untested.  Saturn can be rather restrictive and although it does offer stability, it also provides you with reality and something that is firm and has a foundation.  You may have to juggle between these two alternatives during this important decision making which falls under the influence of the New Moon in Aquarius.

Watch for jumping for the sake of jumping.  Always do your homework.  Rash behaviour and impulsive actions have been known to be associated with the energies of Aquarius.  As long as all the “i”s have been dotted and the “t”s have been crossed, you should be in a position to make your move or stay for that matter.  The choice is always yours.  Astrology points the way but you are in the driver’s seat of your life.

This New Moon falls at 8 degrees Aquarius and any planet in your chart along with any angles at this degree (you can go as far back as 5 degrees of any sign and as far forward as 11 degrees of any sign) will be influenced by this New Moon.  By taking into consideration the house position of the New Moon and any angles or planetary aspects that enhance this New Moon, you will get a clearer picture of how these energies might unfold and what areas of life will be involved for you personally.

WILL THIS ALWAYS BE A RAVAGED WORLD?

There might be many who read the title of this post and refuse to read on.  Ravaged implies a world and its occupants that has been severely damaged and devastated.  It and they truly have been by the hands of some of earth’s inhabitants. 

There is always hope in salvaging our world and the quality of our existence here.  Some say that we have gone beyond the tipping point but I refuse to live in hopelessness.

In focusing on the inhabitants, their actions are unpredictable in terms of peace.  There are many that walk this earth that have different viewpoints than we do. 

They say that the optimist or those that are hopeful see the glass as half full; however, the pessimist or those that are doubtful see the glass as half empty.  Our perspective not only manifests in our world but it also creates on a constant basis.

So what can you do to change the course of our world?  Take a look at your personal world.  What is your part to play?  It all begins at home.  How do you treat those close to you, those that you love?  We lead by example, not by mere words.  Action is what unlocks doors.  Action is what other see and ultimately what can motivate them.

Our torn world can certainly recuperate.  There are many workers doing their part.  The higher our vibration, the greater positive impact we will have on this world.  It is not what you can do to change things; it is what you ARE doing right now to create change.  Do not wait for someone else to lead the way.  Be the catalyst.  You are not at the mercy of life.  Anything and everything begins with you.

SUN IN AQUARIUS 2017, PART II

The Sun moved into the sign of Aquarius on the 20^th of January in 2017.    Please see out post from January 23 which we are continuing today. 

Aquarius individuals are broad minded and have a very liberal approach to life.  They believe that there should be no segregation when it comes to ethnicity, race, or cultural background.  They view everyone as equals and their aim is to awaken the masses from their complacency and from the accepted norm.  They can be a little over the top when seeking this in their relationships.  Those individuals that do not wish static in their lives may, from time to time, be a little dismayed by their Aquarius friend’s approach.  These Aquarians will usually back off once their message has been received however.

Many Aquarius appear rather astute in their mannerisms and they appeal to the masses, as everyone matters to them.  They can seem quite cold in their emotional response and this gives them a reputation of being detached and unaffected by life’s emotional dramas.  Much of this will also depend on where the Moon is located in their chart as well as what sign it is in.

There is something unusual and unique about the average Aquarian.  They are their own individual and will not attempt to mix in with the general public by matching their clothing style, mannerisms or belief structures.  They are different and they know this, and they are usually quite comfortable with this.  They also feel that in some way they are special, although this is usually not based on ego.  They believe that everyone has something special and unique to offer and that all answers can be found by looking within.

They are great freedom seekers and do not like to be hemmed in, in any way.  They are ruled by Uranus, known as the awakener and co-ruled by Saturn.  They need to walk their own path and are steadfast in their approach, fixated in their opinions and often quite sure of themselves unless there are other mitigating factors in the birth chart.  They are reliable and a good companion and will bring people into their circle that they hardly even know.  They are likable, friendly, yet distant and often are non-committed unless they have their freedom.

Friendship is very important to the average Aquarian and they will seek out those with like minds and share their stories with those that are willing to listen.  At times, they can be demanding although generally they offer others the same freedom that they seek.  In general as romantics, they may leave a bit to be desired although you will have to look at the overall condition of the natal chart as well as the placement of Venus and Mars and any emphasis of the fifth house to confirm this.

They are drawn to almost anyone although they love communication and open talk.  As a result, they work well with those that have many air signs.  Gemini individuals are very open and dialogue between these two signs can be uplifting and interesting for those that are seeking progressive messages.  Some Aquarians do not do well with those individuals that are strong in their emotional nature, as Aquarians seem to have difficulty understanding emotions.  They depend on the rational mind although many are intuitive and go by instinct.  They are focused on progress and aim to lift themselves out of complacency and will help others to do the same.

RISE & CONNECT WITH SELF

What is your main focus in life? 

What are you future plans in life? 

Will you choose to remain in the shadows of your former self, or will you rise to the occasion and fulfill or meet your own personal dreams?  Your life is a reflection of what you believe is attainable.  It is a reflection of where you place your expectations.

SUN IN AQUARIUS, 2017, PART I

The Sun moved into the sign of Aquarius on January 20, 2017. 

Generally speaking, 2017 will be very good for those born with their Sun in Aquarius between 8 to 29 degrees. 

Those with their Sun between 16 to 29 degrees Aquarius will have a sextile from Transiting Saturn which will be in the sign of Sagittarius for most of 2017, and they will also have a sextile from the planet Uranus which will be in Aries. 

At the same time, those with their Sun sign in Aquarius between 7 to 18 degrees will have a semi-sextile from Transiting Neptune.  There will be a semi-sextile from transiting Pluto for those with their Sun from 12 to 24 degrees Aquarius.  Transiting Jupiter will also be making a trine for those with the Sun between 10 to 29 degrees Aquarius until September/October of 2017. 

As indicated many Aquarius individuals will likely have a great year.  We will take a close look at each of these aspects in upcoming posts for this Sun sign. 

These aspects are not the full picture however.  Make sure when deciphering these aspects that you also take into consideration how your Sun is aspected in your natal chart.  You will also need to look at the planets in mention to the Sun.  You can allow a couple of degrees leeway if you are sensitive to the energies of your Sun sign (many people are).  Some can feel the energies as much as 10 - 12 degrees approaching and 2 - 5 degrees separating.

Aquarius individuals are progressive thinkers often ahead of their time by as much as 30 to 50 years.  This adds to why some Aquarians are misunderstood or seem eccentric and erratic in their behaviour and mannerisms.  Those with powerful influences by Aquarius (several planets in Aquarius) or those with many planets in the eleventh house (which is ruled by this sign) will be able to identify with these qualities.  This also applies to those with their Ascendant in the sign of Aquarius.

Aquarius individuals are humanitarian in their nature and their aim is to sway the masses into conscious behaviour and teach them to pull themselves out of complacency and ridged routines.  This is all in favour of growth in a spiritual and open-minded manner.  Aquarian’s goals are to raise the consciousness of mankind and do it in ways that affect the many rather than the few.

TRANSITING SATURN CONJUNCT VENUS

Saturn will often cause you to withdraw into yourself to evaluate personal relationships and your life on a material basis when it is conjunct Venus.  It is a time when you will have a close look at any existing relationships that are lacking in substance.  These types of relationships will either go through a period of great scrutiny or you may walk away from the individual involved.  It could be considered a time of testing our relationships and examining them in great detail.  Those connections that do make it through this investigative period will be solid and reliable, and you would be wise to recognize this.

You may also find that you must tighten of spending or at the very least, take a good analysis of the budget.  It would be wise decision not to go any further in debt until this transit has passed, at the very least.  If you have been going through a period of budgeting and have taken a conservative approach, this could be a good time to finalize the plan and to structure your life so that you are well prepared in the future.  Setting up a retirement plan and setting aside a certain amount of money weekly or monthly would be a good way to prepare for the future according to this aspect.  Saturn is always looking at the long haul and if you currently follow Saturn’s advice and do not accompany the goals with worry, you could set yourself up for a comfortable future.

It can also be a time of self-study.  Have an honest look at how your relationships may need some adjustments.  This is a good time for reflect on how you interact with others and either loosen up or become more structured in how you deal with them.  Perhaps you are too frivolous when it comes to spending your money on friends and you should become more giving.  On the other hand perhaps you have been giving yourself away and now you will have to pick and choose those that you deem worthy of your generosity.

Saturn and Venus under many conditions are not very well suited for one another, but a lot can be learned during this time.  Spend time on your own.  Take the time to think and reflect but do not stay this way for extended periods of time.  Take note of the changes you might make in order to make things run more smooth.  Never let pessimism rule however.  Always stay optimistic and make changes where and how you see fit.

SAY YES! YOU DESERVE IT

It’s okay to be kind to yourself.  You deserve it. 

Many of us work hard all of our lives and offer assistance to those in need.  When is the time right to do something for ourselves?  If we are exhausted mentally or physically, how can we keep helping others in a positive way?

We can live a life of service without selling ourselves short.  We are worthy of our own help and we are worthy of accepting help from others.  It is not wrong or ego centred to think about our own needs.  Recognize your own self-worth. 

Just as with helping others, love plays out the same way.  You cannot love others if you cannot love yourself. 

If you find that you are unhappy, make changes either to your circumstances or to your attitude.  You cannot wait for someone else to do this for you.  This is impossible.

TRANSITING SATURN CONJUNCT THE SUN IN SAGITTARIUS 2017

For a large portion of 2017, transiting Saturn will be in Sagittarius from 21 to 29 degrees.  In late December, it moves into the sign of Capricorn.  This post will affect those with their Sun in Sagittarius between 17 degrees to the end of the sign and into the early degrees of Capricorn.  Remember to take into consideration the house that your Sun is in as well as the overall condition of your Sun by planetary aspects as you read this post.  The position of your natal Saturn will also be part of the energies.

Saturn generally has its greatest effect when it is two degrees past direct. For example, if your Sun is at 23 degrees Sagittarius, Saturn will have its greatest impact at 25 degrees Sagittarius.  Saturn tends to delay action and often slows down progress.  This could explain why it is strongest at two degrees past direct, unlike any other planet.  Saturn takes its time as it wants to make sure that everything has been competed as perfectly as possible.

Sagittarius addresses higher learning and often deals directly with religion, spirituality, and an advanced philosophy of life that looks at everything from a positive perspective.  Sagittarius truly believes that there is always something better waiting just around the next corner.  Saturn on the other hand can be quite restrictive and challenges you to work hard, even alone and that although hard work can be tedious at times, the efforts are often tied to the end result.  Saturn tests your ambitions and can also affect your health when directly related to the Sun, although a thorough examination of your chart would be required for a clear, accurate evaluation.  If you do feel tired or run down during this period, this is normal, but if you have any major concerns, you should have a physical checkup at least once during Saturn’s stay in Sagittarius.  Checking the natal potential for this however is highly advised.

Saturn can bring to fruition efforts which might have been started some 14 years ago when it was in opposition to the Sun.  Whatever was initiated at that time may now be brought forward and the results of those actions may now be seen.  Often an opposition suggests that others were involved in the outcome and the results can be either very fulfilling or you may be frustrated about the outcome of these actions.  This current period initiates a time of responsibility and difficulties, and although you may feel burdened and over-worked during this time, the more you put into your efforts, the greater the potential outcome.  Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, does bring with it some luck and opportunities, but consistency and hard work is usually an important part of the process.

This period could involve your occupation and any goals you have set for yourself.  As mentioned previously, Saturn can also affect your health, and you should be careful to neither overdo things nor put too much responsibility on yourself.  Sometimes these extra responsibilities that often manifest during this period will stem directly from your superiors.  Do not to take on any more than you are capable of handling and know your limits.  If you have been working on a project and it is near its completion or will find its conclusion at some point during this year, it is advised that you keep working towards the end result and do not start any new projects until this one is completed.

This is often a time when you learn about perseverance and hard work, and patience is often an area that needs some work.  Remember the harder you work at something, the greater the chances for a successful conclusion.  If something does not work out the way you had planned, you can stay on the same path in some way and make whatever alterations are required to make things work.  If you find that the potential is not good for a positive outcome, you can cut your losses and recognize that things are sometimes not meant to be.

You may feel somewhat limited and your normal optimistic approached to life may be thwarted during this time.  You are learning perseverance and the potential for rewards is also in the works.  Do not allow negativity to enter the picture even though a part of you wants to break free of the current restrictions.  Stay true to yourself.  The lessons best learned sometimes teach us that many things in life are not as we anticipate because we cannot see the whole picture.  Once we see the whole picture, we may need to change our focus.

AGENT OF PEACE

In a world where some are torn by adversity, some are lost in misjudgement and some are influenced by those that want to bring forth only fear, what can we do to maintain our own personal peace?  How can we as humane individuals counteract these acts? 

You may ask yourself what is my part in this ongoing, traumatic invasion of peace?

Amongst the turmoil, you can still rise above and allow love.  You can still be the agent of peace.   In your little corner of the world, start the ripple of good.  It will prevail.  You are the factor that can balance the scales but you can only do this in ways that offer kindness to those in need without adding to the opposite influence.  To fight violence with violence only intensifies the reactions.

You are not raising your hand in defeat when you respond in a more gentle manner.  You are not giving in by standing your ground through acts of kindness and love. 

There are some amongst us whose temperament is to fight injustice through acts of aggression.  There are those amongst us that will do what they feel is right to oppose and suppress violence even if that calls for violence, but this is not your part.  You are one of the crusaders of peace, and the only way to truly bring about peace and tranquility is to be an example of it.

You know what your part in this process is!  Be that agent of peace through your own terms and become the agent of change that our bound world so needs.

UNDERSTANDING TRANSITS

Our birth chart or natal chart is a snapshot of the heavens at the moment of birth with the earth in the centre.  The earth is surrounded by all the planets.  This snapshot of the heavens (the birth chart) remains intact as long as you live, nothing changes.  The moment after birth, the planets (although frozen in the natal chart) begin to move again which are call the transiting planets, often indicated by the planetary symbols on the outside of the circle in the birth chart diagram.  Each planet moves at a different speed.  They can also move in different directions (direct – moving forward, stationary – appear to not move and retrograde – appearing to move backwards).

Again, the moving planets after the moment of birth are called Transiting and the deciphering of these placements and the angles they make (aspects) to the natal planets including the MC, the Ascendant, the IC and the DC tell the current and future story of your life.  There are many angles these transiting planets can make with the birth chart planets’ locations (Major and Minor aspects) and some of these aspects are considered challenging while some work in a favourable manner; much depends on what angles and planets are involved.

When a transiting planet for example makes an angle of 0 to 10 degrees separation (moving away) to a natal planet, the energies merge and become one.  0 to 10 degrees is called a conjunction which tells of an emphasis and it elevates the energies of the planets involved (or the angles it touches).  The conjunction is most strong when the two plants are 0 degrees apart.  As they begin to separate they weaken and usually within 2-3 degrees past direct the energies are basically gone.  Saturn, which is the exception, does last longer and is often at its peak 2 degrees past direct.

Another variable with the transits and what they are saying involves the house placement that the planets are found in.  For example, when a planet is moving through the seventh house then seventh house matters will be involved.  You not only look at the transiting planet’s house but also look at the house that the natal planet is located in.  You also have to look at the natal planet that the transiting planet was located in within the birth chart.  In other words if Uranus is transiting the seventh house, the seventh house is enhanced or activated.  If Uranus is aspecting the Sun in the 10^th house, the 10^th house is also highlighted.  If Uranus is natally in the fourth house then you also have to take into consideration what the fourth house signifies.   You would be looking at the 7^th house, the 10^th house and the 4^th house to get a full picture of the aspect between Uranus and the Sun.

When delineating transits, it is important that you understand the duration of the transits.  All the outer planets have a greater impact on your life because they move slowly.  Pluto can have as much as 3-4 years impact on your life.  The most powerful will always be when planets are direct; this could last as long as one to two years.  Faster moving planets have very quick influences and as a result move out of influence quickly.  There is no last impact from the inner planets.

RESOLUTIONS

Many of us make New Year’s resolutions and due to our beliefs, the energies do seem renewed.  In reality, however, there is no change in space or time, just in our focus.  Resolutions are great as long as they are not too elevated and unreachable. We can, however, make resolutions for ourselves at any time.  Each moment is a new beginning.  We never have to wait for a new year.

Make a commitment to yourself to you love who you are regardless of characteristics you do not approve of.  It is very important to love unconditionally.  Recognize that anything that you don’t like can either be altered or your perception about this specific attribute can be altered.  Identifying with or believing in something that brings you anything less than joy, serves no purpose.

Don’t get down on yourself because of something that you have failed to do or something that makes you feel as though you are coming up short.  Just do your best.  How can we ask for more?  You are currently bound to material living at this particular moment even thought what you do, say or own is not a reflection of who you are on a higher level.  It is only part of the experience that is taking place right now.  It takes time to reconnect with the true self even thought this true self is always within you.

Understand ego and its actions (and when I speak in terms of ego I am referring to the voice that shuts you down, the voice that seems to work against you).  If you want, you can call ego “negativity” or that unwanted parts of what you think of as you.  Ego’s intent is to keep you stifled and to limit you in any way it can in order to maintain control.  By identifying with anything that is not pleasing to you, you give ego strength and build on ego’s need to control.

Stay on the positive path or attitude in life and accept that your thoughts create your reality.  Know that it takes time to find ways that work specifically for you and to learn the art of being patient.  Know that you are where you are meant to be for now and be grateful for your progress.  Believe in yourself and give yourself the benefit of the doubt, always. 

We all will falter from our ideal concepts of who we think we should be from time to time, but if we look back, we will see how much we have actually advanced.  To help us acknowledge just how far we grow, it might be an idea to keep notes of what you experience and write down your good qualities.  Also keep tabs on the positive qualities within yourself that you want to enhance.  Read these notes back to yourself occasionally.  You will find that over time they no longer are part of what you wish you could be, they become who you actually are.  Strive to make the qualities real by believing you have them inside within already. 

Give something of value to others when and however you can in your own personal way, but be sure to look after your own needs as well.  You can’t help others until you help yourself.  Accept that you are important and that you have a special mission in life that is perpetually unfolding. 

Love your life.  Share your life and be open.  Know that the path is set and that you are on track.  You are always moving forward in the correct direction, even when it feels like you are not.  Sometimes we need to go down different roads to appreciate who, what and where we are in life. 

Be happy with your life’s circumstances.  Know that there is so much more to come and live in the moment, sharing your wisdom.

FULL MOON IN CANCER, JAN. 12/17

The Full Moon (known as the wolf moon) is in Cancer today, January 12, 2017.  This Full Moon is loaded with energies.  It forms part of a Grand Cardinal Square with Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter. 

The Full Moon falls at 22degrees in the sign of Cancer.  Cancer is a nurturing, feeling sign, the energies of which want to mother and look after others especially those that are considered family.  The Sun (always in opposition to a Full Moon) will be in Capricorn.  Cancer and Capricorn are the natural rulers of the 4^th and 10^th houses and often are indicative of our parents and might suggest a parental theme during this full moon.

The Cardinal Square is not considered a favourable configuration, as squares and oppositions often indicate strife and challenging conditions.  Much will depend on if you have any planets or angles around the 22 degree mark particularly if they happen to be in Cardinal signs.  This particular planet or angle would be activated and subject to intensity, change, and diversity.  Much of what takes place may be unpredictable in its nature.  Check the house locations in your own personal chart to see which areas of life will be connected and activated today.

Although the Grand Square is considered a challenging aspect, much can be accomplished during this cycle.  Often endings are followed by new beginnings.  Endings usually call for new directions in life, usually after some struggle.  You will be required to carefully plan out any actions taken on your part and you may find that what unfolds actually has been in the works for some time.  Conditions may come to fruition and can work out very well.  At other times, conditions can bring surprises and challenging conditions that must be dealt with.  Much depends on what you personal astrology chart is suggesting. The beauty of the squares and oppositions is that they often challenge us to move forward or change directions which from which we eventually reap the rewards.

This will be a time of correcting any miscalculations made or misdirection taken some time ago.  We can either let things go and starting new in a completely different direction or reflecting on what has taken place and make adjustments before moving forward again. 

Saturn is also part of this process.  It is inconjunct the Full Moon at 22 degrees Sagittarius which suggests that any business plans set in motion will now need some fine tuning, and you can move forward, especially now that Mercury is no longer in retrograde.

Allow your feelings to guide you through this cycle and follow through or start anew regardless of hurdles or disturbances.  If you have to begin again, so be it.  Start fresh with an optimistic view.   Jupiter can promise success on some level even if it is in square to the Moon.  Do not forget to check your personal chart to see any other planetary involvement as well as any angles that might play a significant role in the unfolding of this cycle.

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT MARS

Transiting Uranus conjunct Mars is a volatile combination, especially in the sign of Aries.  Both planets want aggressive action and both insist on making things happen rapidly and without little thought of consequence.  Mars is impatient and impulsive as is Uranus and when these energies are tied together in the sign of Aries, it is almost inevitable that something will happen.

These two planets will be tied together in transit towards the end of February and into early March, 2017.  Uranus’ action is all about needed change and breaking free of restrictions.  Although the potential for unexpected events to unfold is likely, these changes are usually because of required action not acted on in the past.  Uranus usually gives a push in the direction of change and pushes us to make changes with things that have been raised into our awareness.

Look to the Astrological house that will be affected by these two planets especially when in conjunction with one another.  This will be the area of life that will call for change and the start of something new.  Often a new direction unfolds although it might require a push on your part or a push by life’s to make it happen.  Remember, if you have the opportunity to make things happen and you do not, often the energies are released in a much more aggressive manner and you are made to make the changes, like it or not.  Also make sure you have a look at where natal Uranus is located in the birth chart as this area of life will also play into the formula.

If, for example, these planets converge in the tenth house, your career will be affected and your status in life might change.  If you have been putting off moving forward in this area, you might be advised to take that step needed but once again much will depend on other planetary influences related to this area of your chart.  If you have a trine from Saturn natally to this position, it would work out well for you as long as you had taken the necessary steps along the way to make sure that nothing was missed and you are well prepared.  If Neptune were involved, you might feel very uncomfortable about the outcome of these actions yet unsure of your direction.  Always look at the natal potential and how the transit is being affected by other mitigating factors.

The energies now activated are very potent and volatile and can be released in rather explosive fashions.  Do not put yourself in danger’s way unnecessarily and remain calm during this aspect as arguments and disruptions are quite common.  You will more than likely feel that you should assert yourself at this time and in some cases it is good to do just that, while in other cases, you would do well to take a back seat, although that could be quite hard to do.  Taking a leading role in some way, you will be pretty much assured of results, and even the more passive individuals will push themselves under these conditions.

You may also be somewhat accident prone during this cycle, so take care in driving your car or operating heavy machinery and working with sharp tools.  There is a more than average danger although there has to be other factors in the chart indicating something similar for this to unfold.  Do not be too worried or get carried away.  It is suggested that driving erratically or putting yourself in potentially dangerous situations is inadvisable.  Just be cautious.

These energies, if properly utilized, can produce some fantastic results especially if you are accustomed to working with such energies.  Pushing yourself forward in positive directions with much vigor can work out quite well in the long haul and even produce some valuable results rather quickly.
