We are continually awakening to the various mysteries that this magnificent journey holds.  Life is a magical experience, and it is not out of the ordinary to be in awe as this venture exposes its wonders.  Some people feel the oncoming energies and others lie in wait of what is next, but either way, it is always a blessing to learn the lessons, even the more stressful ones.

The experience gained through what we may define as adversity and through which we might define as serene, both enlightenment us.  For many, we actually learn more from the more challenging lessons.

We can venture forth with little expectation or knowledge of what will unfold.  We live our lives in the moment hopefully aware and appreciative of its splendor and filled with excitement. 

Does this sound a little over-the-top to you?  Not at all!

When we refocus our attention on the experience without judgement, we see the magic unfold.  These moments that we share with those we love and with those we sometimes find less than desirable to be with are valuable experiences. 

As we move ever closer to our own full awakening, we know that nothing is by chance.  Coincidence is a word only for those who are indifferent and who have failed to see the value in an experience.   Nothing is by coincidence. 

We can recognizing our own uniqueness yet accept that we share our lives and our connection with the whole.

PROGRESSED MOON CONJUNCT NATAL NEPTUNE

The Progressed Moon moves through a sign in approximately 2 ½ years and its cycled return, therefore, matches up with our Saturn return (both having a 28 to 29 year cycle). 

As you can imagine, this return period can be quite eventful.  If you happen to be experiencing this return period now and the Moon is also in conjunction with your Neptune, this period can be enlightening and at the same time somewhat confusing.  It will also be a very significant time due to an often challenging lesson period linked to the Saturn return cycle.

In this post, we will focus primarily on the Progressed Moon in conjunction to Natal Neptune.  The Progressed Moon aspecting a planet or angle is often an eventful time in our lives.  Changes are often in store and family matters and deep rooted family concerns could be part of the process.  Much depends on the house that your Neptune is in within the birth chart.  Home and family are tied into the equation, if for example, Neptune is in the fourth house.  Occupation and life status might be part of the picture if, for example, your Neptune is in the tenth house or to a lesser degree especially associated with relationships matter with the seventh house.

The progressed Moon has an impact on our lives for approximately three months; one month approaching, one month direct and one month separating.  It is often used as a timing device, along with the transiting Sun, Mars and Transiting Uranus.  The strongest month will be as the Moon becomes direct, (so the middle month).

Neptune in our natal chart can be an area of confusion or an area of enlightenment; much depends on the energies in place defined by aspects and how we assimilate these energies into our lives.  Neptune can be quite mystical in its expression and insightful sometimes through visual effects or through meditation techniques. 

Neptune can also be quite illusive and vague in its expression tends to make things rather unclear or life can be viewed through rose-coloured glasses.  It is wise to ask for clarification during these periods when Neptune is being transited by another planet or when Neptune is transiting another planet or angle in our chart.

If, for example, Neptune was located in the fifth house then this period could be tied into romantic liaisons and affairs.  It could also deal with your children or creative endeavors.  Changes may take place in a spiritual sense and, if for example, you are in a love affair, make sure that you are not putting that person on a pedestal or viewing them inappropriately.  Your view may be somewhat blurred and what you think is there may not be the case. 

If, for example, the tenth house is involved, it may relate to your occupation or goals in life and you may not be too sure on where you are heading.  Intuition is usually strong at this time, but the mind tends to get in the way, so you will have to carefully weigh out all your options.

One thing is for sure, this will likely be an interesting time in your life and doors may open, light may come into your life and your perception may be clear and insightful or quite the contrary.  It will be important to have a look at the rest of the chart and see what it speaks of.  We always have to review the chart as well as the natal potential to get the full picture. 

Let your intuition guide you through this entertaining and potentially spiritual time in your life.  Always take advantage of what life offers and be open to new energies and new experiences.

JUPITER RETROGRADE

Transiting Jupiter went retrograde on April 10, 2019, and you may have felt its energies slowing, up to a few days prior to that date.  It will remain retrograde until August 11, 2019 when it goes direct again.  At that time, its energies will flow freely once again. 

If you have planets or an angle that falls between 14-24 degrees of Sagittarius, you will feel these energies more strongly than those without a planet in these degrees. 

Jupiter turned “stationary” retrograde on April 10 at 24 degrees Sagittarius and will go stationary “direct” on August 11 at 14 degrees Sagittarius.  During the retrograde motion and especially when it is stationary retrograde for a few days, Jupiter’s energies are harnessed and they cannot flow with full expression. 

We have noted that people do not feel as optimistic and eager to move ahead under this influence and in many cases the traditional good fortune of Jupiter is stifled until it goes direct again. 

Most planets in retrograde suggest that this is a time of review and contemplation.  A time of inner reflection as physical progress is difficult. 

Since Jupiter has to do with spirituality and religion and life philosophies, this will be a time for inner contemplation particularly in relation to the house position of transiting Jupiter connected in some way to spirituality and philosophy and religious inclinations.  Any planet or angle that it touches under this influence will be stifled and potentially have challenging conditions linked to it. 

For example, if Venus were part of the equation then perhaps there might be some challenges linked to finances or your love life.  Feelings of sensitivity towards those you care for may not be allowed full expression or may be challenged in some way.  Once it passes, the degree of the planet in question moving direct in motion, there may be a renewed sense of happiness and the finances (in this example)may flow more freely.  Of course, other transits will also have to be calculated for a full evaluation of what might take place.

The retrograde movement usually lasts about 4 months and in August when Jupiter returns to the original position it was at on the onset of its retrograde cycle on April 10, it will be “peddle to the meddle and full steam ahead”. 

If you have a planet or angle on the stationary degree, it is most influential.  Those that have nothing at these degrees (the strongest is the conjunction and then the opposition) may not feel much of the energy stifling effects while Jupiter is in retrograde.

As Jupiter goes into retrograde motion there is a sense that things are slowing down and as it approaches its direct motion again there is a sense that a path might be taken and an eagerness of what might come next. 

Once direct again, the brakes are released and the engine begins to power up.  During its retrograde cycle, the normal generosity and optimistic approach that Jupiter often suggests may even stop working or at the very least, will have slowed down.  During the retrograde energies, it is time to delve deep and find optimism internally, although you may feel somewhat limited. 

When Jupiter stations (appears not to be moving between the direct and retrograde motions), it will exaggerate anything that it touches within the natal chart.  You can allow about a 2-3 degree orb of influence when in relationship to a planet or angle, but again, these energies will be much stronger for those with planets between the 14 to 24 degree of Sagittarius.

As you venture forward uncovering life’s mysteries along your journey, have you ever thought about your contribution to this unfolding story?

You are unique and there is no one like you!  Do you understand that it is not by chance that you are here in this moment in time?  

What is YOUR purpose?

Could we be looking far too deep for this purpose? 

Do you expect something earthmoving to take place that will open your eyes (and your mind) to some unknown truth?

What is the truth and how do we uncover it?

We are always on track and life is unfolding just as it should.   We must take responsibility for our part in this moment.  Do you recognize this moment without moving out of it?  Experience this instant as it is..... right now!   Focus, see and experience this immediate space in time.

Experiencing the moment is a great part of awareness. It is tuning into the now without any intention or thought about what tomorrow will bring and what has slipped away in the past.

Awareness is understanding the moment and all its intricacies.  It is knowing that you are an intricate part of this process. Through your belief structure, you have slowly formulated this moment in time, and with your expectations, you are slowly molding your future one moment at a time. It has been said that we should be careful of what we ask for.  With this understanding, pay heed to what you want to bring into fruition.

Be clear with what you want to manifest into your life and focus your energies in that direction. Make sure that your intentions are worthy as these pursuits will not only affect you but they will also have an impact on others. Go beyond material manifestations for what you need will be provided, although it may not be what you think you need.

Life is energy; we are energy.  We can transcend our immediate (off the cuff) response to life’s experience simply by focusing our attention in any direction we choose.

There is much that goes on beneath the surface. In altered states of consciousness, such as the dream state and within meditative experiences, we link up with higher energy that assists us in our journey. Be open to the suggestions along the way that assist us in achieving what it is we are working towards. Many times, life’s challenging conditions are our greatest teachers yet we try to avoid these challenges.  Be open to all that life offers.  Be thankful for all that is.

Often the more difficult the experience, the greater the growth and understanding we obtain. These provide us with internal strength and guide us forward on our planned route.  Remove the expectations and frustrations from your experience. 

Never be too hard on yourself.  It is okay, too, to allow yourself to be human.  That is why we are here. 

Take life by the reigns and move along your journey always being open to the truth.  Open your heart and include love in your focus.  When you come to a fork in the road, be open to what might be lying just beyond either route for there are no wrong turns.

A MINI FORECAST FOR SUN IN TAURUS, 2019 - (Part II)

We continue our mini forecast for the Sun in Taurus from April 22, 2019.

Today’s post will focus on transiting Saturn trine Sun in Taurus.  Saturn is between 13 and 21 degrees in Capricorn throughout 2019.

Transiting Saturn will be in trine to those with their Sun in Taurus in the degrees that correlate with Saturn’s position through 2019.  Once again, as mentioned with Uranus in our post on April 22 and as with any aspect in Astrology, the closer to direct (exact degree) an aspect is, the stronger the influence of the aspect.  However, Saturn has been known to become even stronger when it is two degrees past direct.  This is because of its delaying effects.

Saturn has a tendency to create roadblocks, offer some resistance, suggests challenges and periods of testing.  Eventual, however, we learn what Saturn’s is teaching from its lessons and a solid foundation will be built over time.  Hard work is usually indicated, even with a trine when Saturn is involved.  The rewards for hard work and perseverance, however, are well worth the effort. 

Saturn will push you to think things over especially if it is somehow connected to Mercury.  Saturn’s energies want you to rationalize what is taking place and wants you to question where you want to go in life. 

Since the Sun’s energies represent our goals and objectives, as well as our inner being and life path, Saturn will help with the decision making and offer viable solutions over time, but not without work on your part.

The trine usually suggests easy flow with little obstruction but remember with Saturn, there are always lessons to be learned and sometimes, we can experience delays (but is this teaching patience?).  When Saturn is direct, these obstructions may be more evident than when it is in retrograde.  Saturn is the only planet that operates better in retrograde motion. 

Listen to what is being suggested under this influence. 

In summary of our two posts covering the mini forecast for Taurus, it is advisable to take your time as Uranus (See our post on April 22, 2018) will want action and may even just make things happen.  If you have the time or are offered some options which is often the case, think things over and be reflective.  Think about the outcome but do not focus on where this change might take you, because honestly you really will not be able to figure that out.  With Uranus, expect the unexpected.  This makes what might be unfolding rather unsettling for many (particularly if we feel we need to be in control).  Just remember life always takes us where we are meant to go. 

Over time, Saturn offers structure and stability.  Uranus offers change and new adventures.  If these aspects tie in together, this will most certainly be an interesting time for those with Uranus or Saturn active in their charts.  They overlap somewhat in the fall of 2019 for those with their Sun connected to these degrees. 

Otherwise these two aspects (Uranus conjunct Sun and Saturn trine Sun) should not be applied in conjunction with the placement of the Sun and not used in correlation with each other.  You need to check the degrees of Taurus (in your birth chart) and of transiting Uranus and Saturn through 2019.

Uniquely You

How do others see you?  Is this important?

How do you see yourself?  This opinion is very important.

Are you outspoken? 

Do you stand behind your ideals and allow them to motivate you? 

Are you an independent thinker or are you influenced by what others say or think? 

In the face of adversity do you believe that the tough get going or do you check out when the going gets tough?

Much of who we are and how we define ourselves comes from our own concept of what we believe we are capable of doing (and of being for that matter).  We either believe in ourselves, or we are at the mercy of what others or we think we are. 

We CAN find buried strength to stay true to who we are and then to accept this person and become comfortable with that recognition.  It does not matter what others think, unless of course, we are struggling to see the real person inside and other can offer us a proverbial mirror of their opinion. 

We have the ability to become anything we wish, if we have the willingness to work towards that wish with the attitude of success.  If no one else sees this potential, it does not matter.  The faith and strength must come from within.  You can move in any direction and are capable of anything that you believe you can do.  It is all a state of mental attitude and the belief structures that you have aligned yourself with.

If you feel strongly about something, then stand up for what you believe.  If you are unsure in the objective you currently seek, then change your attitude or change your direction.  Be who you are and be proud of this. 

If the real you is in a constant state of flux bending with life circumstance and adjusting to others’ opinions, perhaps you need to refocus and set a course of action that will foster growth in a positive direction that not only benefits others but with particular benefit for you.

You are important and have a special place and purpose in life.  Not all accomplishments are meant to be hung under bright lights for all to see.  Some of us do our best work behind the scenes.  Whatever you choose, be sure it is perfect for you. 

No matter how you utilize your gifts, they will allow you to be.  Always be open to your true self and allow the beauty of you to find true expression.   

You are unique.  Not utilizing the gifts you have, simply hides your true beauty deep within the blur of the crowd.  You will never see the tree for the forest.

A MINI FORECAST FOR SUN IN TAURUS, 2019 - Part I

Here is Holm Astrology’s Part I of our mini forecast for those individuals with their sun in Taurus.  On April 24 we will post Part II

This post focuses on transiting Uranus Conjunct Sun in Taurus.  It will influence Sun in Taurus for about seven years.  You will have to confirm what degree your natal sun is to know when this will be influencing your chart.

Allowing an orb of 7-10 degrees, (the closer to the exact degree to your Taurus Sun the stronger the influence), Uranus, the awakener, will make a powerful conjunction to Sun in Taurus.  The house where your Sun is located and the house where natal Uranus is found in your natal chart will be the primary indicators of what areas of life will be involved with the energies of this aspect.

Uranus brings change and often disruption although the change, which is often sudden or unexpected, is a requirement of life and needs to take place.  Uranus is all about moving away from restriction and continued routine and can force change in areas of life that now need a new direction.  These areas of life have become dormant or no longer suit our evolutionary course. 

Quite often, we get little hints along the way suggesting that we need to find a new direction.  Sometimes that direction suggests uprooting.  Sometimes that change may suggest a simple change of attitude or a new way of looking at things.  Sometimes that change suggests taking a direction that we never thought we would take. 

We may get hints along the way and we may get a little kick to help us move ahead.  It is always a movement ahead even when it feels like a setback.  If we choose not to move under this influence, then Uranus will eventually, at least in most cases, bring the change to us and often under less than desirable conditions.

The Sun has to do with our goals in life, also our inner evolution and life path.  Sometimes it speaks of our fathers and in many cases has to do with our internal processing connected to a chosen course of action.  When Uranus is part of the picture, we will make changes potentially to our occupation or goals in life, and/or our inner selves sometimes after careful observation and this may especially hold true because transiting Pluto is also making a trine to the Taurus Sun (if within degree of influence to your chart).

In short, there may be some upheaval, some change of direction, a new road to follow and a personal change that will bring us closer to where we need to be in the future (although we are always exactly where we need to be at any given moment in time).

SUN IN TAURUS APRIL 20, 2019

The Sun, with all its reflective character traits, moves from the outgoing, forward sign of Aries into the steadfast and inner dimensional sign of Taurus later in the day on April 20, 2019 EDT. 

Taurus is a fixed earth sign, while Aries is a Cardinal fire sign.  These are two completely different energies and if we were to do a comparison, we could say that the one thing that both signs have in common is that they both wish to succeed and are not afraid of hard work to achieve what they set out to do.

Taurus, being an earth sign, enjoys the luxurious things in life, such as a nice car, a beautiful home with lavish furniture or at the very least well-built, long-lasting furniture.  Taurus knows what it is to struggle and has often learned the fine art of patience and perseverance throughout their life’s experience.  They enjoy building a secure foundation and if this includes financial security, they will slowly build up their nest egg over time and often prepare for retirement early in life.  Taurus individuals are generally “prepared” and work hard to get what they are looking for.  In many cases, material life is important, and they go for the tried and tested route.  They do not like taking chances or rushing things.

Taurus is a fixed sign and like most fixed signs once they make up their minds they are hard to alter.  They believe in what they believe in, and you will have to have definite proof before you could approach them to let them know that your way is better than their way is.  They may listen to recommendations but in the back of their minds they often know what is best and will adhere to their own advice and rarely falter from their original path or objectives as it took much study and contemplation to get there.

Those with a Taurus Sun or a strong Taurus Ascendant or even several planets in the second house are often kind individuals, somewhat quiet and reserved unless the chart suggests something else is more powerfully influential.  They are slow to anger and tend to brood over matters.  They tend to keep things inside and if they are subject to challenging conditions brought on by others, it may take some time for them to react but once angered, they can have a violent temper.  If you get a Taurus quite angry, get out of their way.  By the way, they won’t forget what you did.

Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of affection and love, and many Taurus individuals are said to be sensual in their nature.  Many have a pleasing personality which of course is also determined by the Ascendant sign and the placement and condition of Mercury in the natal chart.  

Taurians are friendly although somewhat reserved; and although they may appear complacent, they do not lack analytical abilities.  They study situations and people and draw their own conclusions. 

In most cases, Taurians are loyal to those they love.  Some can be lavish with the ones they love but much depends on their financial condition.  Many Taurus individuals have a hard time recognizing when they are actually financially stable.

In the near future, we will highlight the influences of transits to the placement of those with their Sun in Taurus.  For many, especially those with an early degree Sun sign of Taurus, this might be a year of change and disruption often associated with Uranus which is now in Taurus.  Stay tuned.

AGENT OF PEACE

In a world where we can be torn by adversity, crushed by misjudgement and overwhelmed by those that create fear, what can we do to maintain our own personal peace? 

How can we, as humane individuals, counteract these acts? 

What is our personal part in this ongoing, apparent traumatic invasion of peace?

Amongst the turmoil, you can still rise above and allow love.  You can still certainly be the agent of peace.   In your little personal corner of the world, start the ripple of good.  It will prevail.  You are the factor that can balance the scales, but you can only do this in ways that offer kindness to those in need without adding to the opposite influence.  To fight violence with violence only intensifies the reactions.

You are not throwing up your arms in defeat when you respond in a more gentle manner.  You are not giving in by standing your ground through acts of kindness and love. 

There are some among us whose natural temperament is to fight injustice through acts of aggression.  There are those among us that will do what they feel is right to oppose and suppress violence even if that calls for violence, but this does not have to be your choice. 

You are one of the crusaders of peace, and the only way to truly bring about peace and tranquility is to be an example of it.

You know what your part in this process is!  Be that agent of peace in your own terms and become the agent of change that our world can enjoy.

FULL MOON, APRIL 19, 2019

We will be experiencing the energies of a Full Moon in the sign of Libra on April 19, 2019 at 7:19 a.m. EST. 

This Full Moon is in the last degree of Libra.  If you have anything in your chart at 29 degrees especially by conjunction or opposition to the Full Moon’s placement, this aspect will have an effect on any type of coordinated efforts focused on harmony and balance, possibly with relationships.  Libra is the sign of fairness and justice and if this is related to partnerships, it could include business partnerships especially if the Full Moon falls in the seventh or tenth house in your natal chart.

You will have to pay particular attention to those planets that are making aspects to this position.  You can use up to a five degree orb.  It is important to recognize that the energies of a Full Moon’s deal with the culmination of efforts and events that have been put in place and are now ripe for expression or fruition.  

As mentioned many times previously, the energies of New Moon’s work with planting in our garden of life and its energies are conducive to new beginning particularly associated with the sign and house position the New Moon is located in within your chart.

The Full Moon’s energy on the other hand reflects the time of harvest.  If you have tended to your crops and nurtured them, the Full Moon will offer the tools needed for harvest.  If, for example, you are not ready to move forward on these objectives, you may have to make some alterations and protect your harvest.  If the crop has not been nurtured as needed, it may be time to till in the garden and plan to start anew. 

Libra’s energies focus on the need for balance and harmony and this is where you should be placing your attention.  It is always best to look for solutions that are favourable for those involved although justice may also play into things.  It has been said that any planet in the natal chart at the 29^th degree carries with it a certain degree of urgency to deal with the specific energies of the planet (and the sign and house position as well).  If you happen to have a natal planet in this degree and it fits the criteria, this may be suggesting that you feel or know that this focus or issue is important and needs completion now or in the near future.

Those individuals that do not have any aspects but have a strong lunar position in their chart will still be affected by this Full Moon, while those with no aspects to this position and no lunar connections or no strong lunar placement may not feel these energies to any a great degree. 

It should be noted that those individuals with their Sun or rising sign or Moon in Cancer in particular may often feel the energies of the Moon as it makes its way through the Zodiac.

What is your definition of a “Life of Quality”? 

Our values do help to define us, as these values are normally incorporated into the areas of life that we focus our energy on. 

Although the opinions of others should be insignificant to our values, we may ask others what their perceptions are and this might influence our choices.  Do other people’s opinions have an influence on how you are living your life?

Are your priorities set in stone?  Are you flexible according to what you feel is important in life right now, at this moment? 

Most people agree that their priorities do seem to change as we mature, but the core focus often does not fluctuate...much.  If we depend on others to provide us with feedback as to how we are living our lives, then perhaps we need to have a closer and more personal look at what we are doing with our lives and why we need this reinforcement.

There is no right or wrong focus, but a change of direction in our attitude and our belief structure can filter into daily living.  We are not here to judge nor are we here to have to defend our way of living.  As a matter of fact if we have to defend our way of living, are we truly living according to our beliefs? 

A set course of action based on love and compassion does not need to be defended.

We are creatures of habit and although we can become set in these habits, we can also alter them if we so choose.  As soon as we identify an attitude or way of living that does not feel right for our objectives, we can make alterations to that condition so that it more suites our ever maturing goals in life. 

We are never at the mercy of others and we do not have to live our lives to suit others’ opinions.  The only opinion that matters is our own.  We are solely responsible for our actions and our journey. 

If our choices do not match our objectives, are we truly living an authentic life? 

What are your own personal goals?

Although we might be veering off of our own set course now and then, it is important to recognize where we are placing our intentions and these intentions will dictate our steps.  If we do not like the path we are walking, we simply need to adjust accordingly.  Set your vibrations to a higher frequency. 

How do we do this? 

We can devote more time to service to others in need and have gratitude for what life has brought to us thus far.  These are a very good start.

We certainly do manifest our lives according to our focus and efforts.  We also hold the key to any decision making while in that process.

PSYCHIC POTENTIAL UNLEASHED THROUGH THE NATAL CHART

We are repeatedly asked if there is any links found in the birth chart indicating a potential for psychic abilities as well as any indicators for intuition.

It is believed by this Astrologer that all people have the potential to unlock psychic abilities but it is imperative to believe that these are talents dormant within.  The birth chart does, however, indicate those individuals that may be able to utilize these abilities easier than most other individuals.

The following traits are normally found in birth chart of those with developed psychic abilities or potential.  We have also found that those not blessed with the following traits in their natal chart may have indicators through the progression of the planets at some point in their lives. 

Remember, however, the birth chart is a lifelong blue print of your journey, forever unfolding.  You can overcome any challenging aspect found within the natal chart by promote positive energies into your life through your focus and by utilizing the energies and trends offered during specific times in your life from energies available through such as transits and progressions.

It is more common for women to have more psychic characteristics than men.  This is due to the fact that in order to bring these abilities to the surface, we have to utilize our instincts and sensitivities.  Most women have, through their nurturing nature, developed these traits early in life.  This is not to say that men do not have these qualities, as today’s men are learning to develop their compassionate and sensitive side.  As a result, we are seeing more men enjoy their psychic abilities.

Quite often people with Grand Water Trines have psychic or intuitive abilities as their sensitivities are often not hindered.  Many people with a strong element of water in their charts, particularly Pisces and Scorpio, have links to psychic potential.  Sometimes those with the signs Aquarius and Sagittarius and the planets Uranus and Jupiter being strongly aspected especially by Neptune, the Sun or the Moon in their charts have these qualities.  Strong planetary links to the water houses (4, 8, 12) have the same potentials.

Ties to Neptune especially with Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, the Sun and the Moon often produce these qualities.  Pluto and Neptune in close sextile also often points in this direction.  Those with a North or South Node connected to Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer have these abilities.  The North Node suggests talents that have yet to develop but will be pushed to the surface in this life, while the South Node suggests that these psychic potentials were cultivated in a past life and are carried forward and are usable in this life.

Saturn to Neptune may steady the psychic abilities and keep the individual grounded.  Alternatively, it may suggest a hindrance or blockages in developing this potential.

Rising signs often carry potential for psychic abilities especially Pisces or close ties to Neptune of a positive nature (sextile, trine or perhaps the conjunction) to the Ascendant (Rising Sign).  Cancer rising can also suggest psychic abilities, often suggesting strong mothering instincts and a nurturing personality.  The same potential exists with Scorpio rising (although the mothering is not as innate as those with Cancer) and those individuals having a strong tie to the planet Pluto.  As a result, they must watch for wanting to dominate this God-given talent, as misuse can create blockages.

As you can see, there are many links associated with the easy flow of psychic potential and intuition. The more these characteristics are found in your birth chart, the stronger the potential for easy development.  The greatest enemy to building psychic abilities is fear or those that seek power and dominance through their potential.

This potential is a gift that should be used for the greater good.

TRANSITING URANUS TRINE NATAL MARS

The placement of natal Mars in your Astrology chart defines the area of life where you are either applying your energy or what area of life you wish to move forward with.  Much will depend on whether or not Mars’ energies are suppressed in some way or if its energies are allowed their full expression. 

Mars represents our drive and our ambitions to push ahead in life, our ability to move through adversity and our ability to achieve what we set out to do.  If you are naturally a relaxed individual, when Uranus trines your Mars, you may feel an invigorating push to speak your mind, to move ahead with your objectives and perhaps start something new.

Uranus will assist you if your objectives are to start something new or to assist you to moving in a different direction.  A trine between your natal Mars and transiting Uranus would be the time to advance, and you undoubtedly under this influence can do this with more confidence than normally could.  Because of this confident attitude, you have a greater chance of achieving what you set out to do.  Mars will supply the necessary push and Uranus will offer up opportunities for you to take advantage of.  Perhaps the timing seems appropriate to push ahead and contrary to your normal shy exterior, you feel that you are more capable of achievement.

We are not suggesting that introverted individuals are unable to achieve easily in life as these individuals move ahead with less notice by others.  What they achieve can be just as profound as with anyone else but they are quiet about it.   Most extroverts will probably share their ideas with others and perhaps demand more attention.  Much will depend, of course, on the overall implications contained in the birth chart.

This transit we are focusing on today can also be related to freedom of expression and the need to be heard.  Those experiencing this aspect may also take interest in what others have to say and try to help them move beyond any type of complacency that they may be experiencing.  It is, however, important to recognize that some individuals do not take kindly to what might be considered interference.  This, however, should not stop anyone from offering their help if this is what is wanted. Reaching out may be just what the doctor ordered and advice or push may be what is needed.  

Often Uranus will act in unusual ways and in an unexpected manner.  This push may not be expected and this will be as a result of Uranus’ energies.  If we take the time to review what has been taking place in life or if we analyse the area of life we are considering changing, we may find that it has been calling for a change of direction or a new approach for some time now.  Quite often what needs change has been letting us know for some time in some subtle form or another.  If we are not making the appropriate change then Uranus often acts more impulsively and perhaps a little more aggressively.  The trine usually suggests that the transition is easy or more gentle than let’s say the energies of a square or conjunction. 

It might just be time to take steps under the influence of this aspect.  Open the door and maybe, just maybe, an opportunity awaits those that dare to go beyond traditional habits.  Sometimes something new comes from an action taken that in the beginning may not look overly promising but under the influence of the trine, it is usually what is required.
