THE DAWN OF AWAKENING

Is this life a manifestation of a dream?  Are we awake and conscious?

I have heard it questions if life could be a dream.  Is it possible to be caught up in a dream and not realize it?  Where do we go when we are in the dream state?  Is that place reality or is this place reality?  It is undoubtedly safe to say that both worlds are reality for the individual experiencing them.  At the very least, our dream state is as real as our awaken state as a learning tool.

Anything is possible.  All we know with certainty is that our conscious state is what we refer to as reality.  If we can alter our life’s course through mental processing and expectations and even forecast futures, what is really going on?  What is the big picture and how much of it do we actually see or comprehend?

Many of us are aware that there is much going on beneath the surface and that there are other energies about us existing in a different state than we are.  It is impossible for us to define as we are only aware of our limited human concepts.  Many speak of spirits or ghosts that live among us........far too many for us to ignore the concept.  There must be some truth in what all these people are experiencing.

Most of us will experience instances that cannot be explained and some experience visions and dreams that warn them of potential dangers.  In dreams some of us have visits from our deceased relatives and sometimes they provide us with insight into coming events or assist us in our quest for understanding.

Many who practice regular meditation have mystical experiences that are not easily defined by “rational” thinking.  Sometimes, things just cannot be explained.  If you were to practice meditate over a long period, you would experience events that might be difficult to understand, but if you look deep for the answers, you can decipher the meanings.

There is more to life than meets the eye.  Our earthly concepts are limiting.  Allow this awakening to unfold in your life simply by believing and accepting that the potential is there.

Allow your higher consciousness to emerge and awaken your latent talents.  Our conscious awakening is forever moving forward.  Our world is awakening to the higher energies that truly exist.  Believe!

MERCURY THE PLANET OF THE MIND - ASTROLOGY

As we are about to enter the sign of Gemini, we thought it only appropriate to discuss its ruling Planet, Mercury.  Mercury is the closest planet in orbit to the Sun and is never more than 28 degrees away from the Sun.  As these planets are in close proximity to one another, many individuals are born with these two planets in conjunction.  A conjunction is defined as two planets being within 8-10 degrees of one another.  There is also an aspect called the Cazimi (17 minutes separation or less) and when this occurs between Mercury and the Sun, the energies of both planets are greatly intensified.

Mercury is the planet of the mind.  It rules our intellectual abilities and the enhancement of the thought process.  Since Mercury brings delineation to whatever it touches in the Horoscope and greatly affects the thinking process, the sign that Mercury is in at the time of birth, the aspects being made to other planets with Mercury and the positions in the Natal chart defines how the mind operates.

Mercury in the Birth chart determines how we make sense of our lives and the world around us.  It controls our speech patterns and the way we communicate on a day-to-day basis.  It is our mental statement to the world and the sense of humor we display.  It also rules quickness of thought.  There is a huge difference between someone with Mercury in Aries (which could be defined as quick responsive thinking) and someone with Mercury in Capricorn (which would be described as slow methodical thinking).

Some are born with Mercury in retrograde motion (Mercury appearing to move backwards in the sky) and when Mercury goes retrograde through transit and touches off the retrograde Mercury in the Natal chart, the mind may slow down and may even become confused depending on the relationship to other planetary forces within the individual’s horoscope.  This is usually a time when these individuals should be careful and perhaps even put off the signing of important documents.

Mercury retrograde at birth is often characterized as an introverted mind when the individual thinks things through relentlessly before making up their mind.  Communication is the key phrase when relating to the planet Mercury and when we discuss the Sun moving into Gemini, which will be our next Astrology post, you will see how the mind has a great influence over this Sun sign.  Mercury is the ruling Planet of Gemini.

A MOMENT IN TIME

Life is but a moment in time.  At times the experience is

ownship of Essahem, h th mental illness.strong and vibrant and at other times, dull and mundane.  In the overall picture, life is brief.  Staying focused and present in the moment helps to make the experience seem more prolongs.  Certainly by living in the moment, you will not live longer but you will be more aware and experience life to its fullest.

Many individuals focus their attention on probabilities and what the future MIGHT bring.  Many others focus their attention on the past.  They dwell on memories and lose the beauty of now.  The past does not have to refer to years ago.  The past could be just yesterday.

We need to focus on the present--the moment and our objectives within that moment.

The passage of time slows when we focus on the now--when we live in the moment with no regard to the possible future or the past.  The past cannot be changed and the future is not here.  Live life for the current moment whether it be a wonderful experience or a difficult lesson.  Process what needs to be and then move on.  Embrace the moments of enlightenment and let go of the moments of anguish, but live them and grasp each concept.

Let go of the hurt, the disappointment and the failure.  Accept that life is full of lessons and the most difficult lessons are the ones that teach us, that motivate us, that strengthen us.  Hard lessons are just that--hard lessons.  They are necessary and promote growth.

When you encounter a difficult lesson, go deep into the situation, do not leave any stone unturned, then move on.  Each day holds promise.  BELIEVE.  Have faith that you are moving forward just as you should.  There are no exceptions.  Life is the ever present now!

“I always keep my weather eye on the opposition of my seventh house Moon to my first house Mars.” President Theodore Roosevelt

The Moon in the seventh house in opposition to Mars in his first house would have indicated emotional confrontations with loved ones and with business partnerships.  President Roosevelt kept his eye on these relationships to understand the emotional weather he was going to experience.  With Mars in the first house, he would have had a driving personality and a willingness to face anything life would throw at him.

SECURING LIFE'S FOUNDATION

In the process of building your “foundation”, make sure that you have solid footings in place.  A solid foundation is essential to withstand life’s sometimes turbulent conditions.

Not only are you building this foundation to preserve your essence but to build further with peace and love.  These ingredients foster rewards that far outweigh any foundation built on material security.  Love will endure any condition that the world can throw your way and withstand any adversity.  Love holds the only true value in life.  All of life’s tranquil conditions stem from this source.

You exist to be the conduit for the electrical current that transmits love.  You can generate love simply by being love.  There is no stronger force in our world than love.  Love is pure essence and can be directly linked with all happiness.  This is our purpose--plain and simple.  We are the agents of love.  It begins with you.  You are the base and this essence resonates with you always.  Open your heart and always believe.

SATURN TRANSITS MIDHEAVEN IN ASTROLOGY

Since Saturn is known as the taskmaster, it defies anything new and looks for structure in life, we thought we would look at the significance of a conjunction of Saturn to the Midheaven.  This is not a “currently” mass aspect.  Please review your chart to see when Saturn is conjunction the Midheaven in your specific Chart.

The Midheaven, along with the Ascendant, is the most significant positions in the Horoscope.  They generally indicate, when transiting planets cross these points, times of revelation and times of viewing one’s life from a perspective that fosters us to begin anew or to strengthen what is already in place.

With the influences of Saturn, the planet of sure-footed structure, those with this aspect may find that they are abruptly faced with new duties or they must become accountable especially within the working environment.  During this influence, there is a need for some fine-tuning of the framework they have been laying over the past 14 years or so.  Saturn takes approximately 28 years to complete its cycle around the Zodiac and as a result, Saturn would have been in opposition to the Midheaven14 years ago.  This is usually a time when these individuals are paying close attention to what they have been doing with your life and may now begin a new chapter that will reach its culmination when Saturn conjuncts the Midheaven.

The older the age of those experiencing these junction points in life, the more relevant the issues pertaining to their occupation, their standing in the community and their status.  They will now view their actions that were put in place some 14 years ago and watch as they come to fruition.  If they have carefully built a solid foundation in these areas of life and prepared for their future, they may feel very ambitious and receive rewards for all of their hard work and planning.  If they have taken short-cuts in order to prepare for this period in life, (they tried to avoid their responsibilities), they may now have to come to terms with these shortfalls and may have to alter the course of these actions.  The odds are that things are not working out as planned, and they will have to assess the damage and rebuild making repairs and making necessary changes to help alleviate some of these issues.

When Saturn crosses the Midheaven, it is usually very apparent as this is the climatic point and although it may happen rather suddenly, each of us when this occurs will feel Saturn’s effect for a few degrees before it makes actual contact with the MC.  Because Saturn delays all matters and often leads to contemplation, its strongest effects are felt 1 to 2 degrees past the actual Midheaven point.

You must face these results of what it is you have been trying to achieve over the past several years head on.  There is no getting away from what has been done thus far and you will either prosper from your previous actions or pay the piper and rebuild so you can create a more solid foundation down the road.

IF IT’S NOT YOURS DON’T OWN IT

It can be very difficult when a close friend is experiencing a difficult experience.  We all have our moments.  It is always reassuring knowing that there are those individuals that are always there to lend a hand when we are in need.

Life at times can seem unfair and it is easy to allow ourselves to be swept away by circumstances that enter our lives.  There are times when answers seem to be unavailable and relief seems very distant.

If you are assisting someone emotionally through some life altering experiences, remember not to allow yourself to get caught up in their emotions.  You cannot be of aid when you take on the emotion of their situation and make it your own.

There are those that are so psychically involved that they make other people’s issues their own, often without knowing it.  They experience depression but do not understanding why.  You can reach out to offer your help, your emotional support and to provide an ear for venting, but do not get caught up in other’s problems and take on the emotional attachment.

Allowing others to unload is probably the greatest assistance you can offer.  Often when we are experiencing stressful situations in life expressing their frustrations is an important release.  It is often difficult to open up and be honest when faced with such situations.

A true friend will neither judge nor take sides.  Regrettably, it is their road to walk and although we feel great compassion and honestly wish to help, change and decisions are theirs to make.  Some people get so caught up in the moment that they truly are not looking for help or advice.  They are just looking for a means of releasing and unwinding.

Be their friend in need, but do not harbour their anxiety.  Love them by showing them you care, but leave the emotion behind when you have done your part.
