WHAT IS OUR ORIGIN?

In many cultures, reincarnation is widely accepted.  One concept suggests that we are physically here temporarily from spirit form.  It has been said that there are concepts and truths that we can only understand and spiritually evolve from through the physical, earthy experience.  Due to our learning abilities and varying lessons, we come back over and over again.

It is believed that we can return as male or female.  It is also believed that we can live at any point in time, either in the future or in the past.  Time is man-made.  The past, the present and the future are here now.  With the concept that all time runs simultaneously.  Our current life does not have to be followed by a life that would be considered in our future.  The soul ascertains what lessons are required for its growth and will pick a life that is suitable for its required experience.

What and where is our origin?  As humans, we can only speculate but there are those that believe we are a part God, our source, the whole.  We all form as one in unity with God or whatever term you are comfortable using.  We are joined on some base level with everything that exists--here on earth, beyond our universe and beyond the physical realm. 

If reincarnation is a reality, what we experience in our ever-day lives should not be ignored as it is significant.  Each moment of this life is important.  If not, we would not be here now.  There are many lessons that we have and will partake in throughout this life.  Perhaps we are here to ingest each experience with the intent of learning something that will not only assist us in this life, but will also provide us with valuable information in furthering our evolution on other levels of existence.

Most of us have preconceived notions of what the afterlife is like.  In reality, we do not truly know.  Those with psychic connections get a better picture of what lies ahead, but this is undoubtedly just a glimpse of a small portion of the whole.   

Soon enough we will have our answers to all of our life long questions.  But we can let that go for now and live our lives for today....for the moment,  filtering through each experience, gathering knowledge and information as we enjoy what this life has to offer. 

It is a beautiful life filled with mystery and wonder.  Live, learn, experience and enjoy!

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT NATAL VENUS - PART II

As promised, here is Part II of our post from July 21.

We previously suggested that Uranus instigates and promotes change, as under most circumstances, the current conditions in life no longer fit the criteria that our lives now require for growth.

If Venus in your chart speaks of monetary influences (Venus in the second house, eighth house or perhaps the fifth) an unexpected financial turn of events may be suggested.  This could be on a positive note or on a note that you would not consider quite so positive.  Once again you have to check the natal promise to see how this energy might be revealed.  The natal house placement of Venus and Uranus along with the house transiting Uranus is moving through will provide details as to how this transit might unfold, but it is very hard to figure out exactly how it will manifest.  Uranus in the fifth might suggest winning money through gambling or in the lottery.  Uranus in the second might suggest monetary fluctuations and in the eighth might mean shared resources could be part of the overall picture.

You may also find yourself suddenly in groups of individual with humanitarian principles linked to the meeting.  Your social life is subject to change and alterations, and you may meet some very unique, even eccentric, individuals during this conjunction that will alter the course of your life, or at the very least, attempt to do so. 

It is important that you do not try to disrupt the influence of Uranus as it makes its way past Venus.  Uranus calls for change and will move quite swiftly and without too much intrusion if you allow its energies to flow.  If you put up great resistance to what requires change in your life, however, the flow of change may not be too enjoyable and its action might be very disruptive.

As mentioned in Part I, Uranus is the awakener and Venus is all about the energy of love, so be open to whatever takes place in your life and accept it with open arms as best you can.  Love is a beautiful thing and can be expressed on many different levels.  Uranus is sure to open doors that have been closed previously and you may now need a new start with a new direction.  Enjoy the new and exciting experiences that unfold in the process.

The action of Uranus is often quite evident and is used as a timing device.  Often the actions are very obvious on the exact day that it becomes direct, unless there are other mitigating factors in the chart.  Uranus is especially strong when it conjuncts particular angles in the chart such as the Ascendant and the Midheaven.  You can expect personal changes including partnership shifts when it conjuncts the Ascendant which is somewhat similar to its aspect to Venus.  You can anticipate career fluctuations and status changes when it conjuncts the Mid-heaven.

Expect the unexpected and be ready for new and unique experiences in your life as Uranus nears its conjunction point.  Place no limits on possibilities entering your life and expect change to take place.  As disruptive as Uranus might be, these transformations (and new found freedom which is often part of what takes place) are all necessary and vital to your overall mental growth and evolutionary acceleration.

Enjoy the ride as you are about to enter uncharted territory.

THE DEPARTED

Have you recently lost someone dear to you?  It is hard not to be saddened by the loss. 

Are you having trouble letting go and moving forward in your life?  Many of us spend countless hours denying, questioning, blaming, angry and depressed before we come to the acceptance stage of grief.  There are so many unanswered questions.

It is especially difficult to understand untimely deaths and sometimes it does not matter how much we ponder the potential “why”, we seldom fine the answer we are looking for.  With our earthly abilities, we cannot fully grasp the greater meaning of our existence.

As humans we cannot help but ask if these events were intended parts of the process.  Was this death meant to be?  These are questions from the human mind, not the higher self. 

Our concept of life is very limited and our understanding is just as limited.   As humans we look for answers that neatly fit into our box of understanding.  Remember these are our self made concepts and life’s events are always as planned, with or without our acceptance.  We can live our lives kicking and screaming against each event as it happens or we can accept the events with faith that all things are exactly as they should be.  Which sounds like the easier life?

Life is to be lived to the best of our abilities.  It is to be enjoyed and experienced to the fullest but with full regard for those that share this life’s road with us.

When a life comes to its human end, we must remind ourselves that this is simply the turning of a page or the beginning of a new chapter.  It is a fresh start for the soul that has moved on.  Their chapter is complete and what needs to happen did, even if we “believe” that a life has been cut short.  That life has served the purpose that it was meant to.  All requirements have been met and the lessons learned.

Energy is perpetual.  In spirit or soul form, we are energy.  In soul form, we continue our evolutionary journey.  Our deceased loved ones are always near--never too far away and always hearing and experiencing our words and love.  Our deceased love ones are never too far away to answer our questions, although the answer may not be in verbal form. 

Love, allow and continue to live for earthly life is for the earthly living.  It is what our loved ones want.

ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS

Do relationships last forever?  They certainly can but there has to be boundaries that are put in place.  Healthy relationships accentuate our inner self.  They stimulate gratitude.  They push us to be the best loving person we can be.  They join us as one in the most positive ways.  When there is turmoil within a healthy relationship, we fight for the cause with love, understanding and compromise. 

If you find yourself in a relationship that is emotionally draining and/or physically abusive, but feel you must keep on giving because it is the right thing to do, you need to examine why you feel this way.  Be honest with yourself.  Is the relationship worth the continuous emotional drain?  Are you often pushed around mentally or physically? Are there other red flags in your relationship?

Some relationships unfortunately are harmful.  Unwanted conditions must be dealt with, for if left unchecked, they can affect your inner most core.  In many cases, the individuals being emotionally or physically abused or controlled are insecure and resist walking away.  The ideas of being alone to face life’s challenges, mentally, physically and financially, produce insecurities and fears. 

For those of you in these types of relationships, ask yourself, “Am I happy?  Am I healthy?”  Once again, be honest with yourself.  Truly evaluate the circumstances you are living under. 

Are there children also experiencing these events?

Are your children witness to abuse, animosity and even hatred?

As parents, do we want to teach our children that the norm in life is to be unhappy?  The example before them IS their normal. 

If the relationship is beyond repair or abusive, or if you feel that you have to keep giving it all you have for the children but the effort is not reciprocated, perhaps you will need to review your priorities. 

If you or your children are being verbally or physically assaulted, love yourself enough to move towards change, whatever change is necessary. There are many agencies available to assist you in your decision.    We all deserve to be happy and safe.

Find the strength and the self-love required to take the first step, whatever that first step may be.  You can overcome your insecurities and fears.  Stand tall with your resolve.  There is a future that is waiting for you.....one that you truly deserve, but before you can move forward, you must let go of the past.

Each and every one of us is equipped with great strength.  There is a full reservoir of love and happiness in “your name”.  Believe in yourself and not in the abusive, degrading labels place on you by someone else. 

No one else can provide you with happiness.  This is something that is only attainable by you.  Happiness comes from within.  Allow you “self” loving light to shine!

The Sun in Leo

Shortly, the Sun will be in the sign of Leo.  Those born within the first few degrees of Leo, or the last couple of degrees of Cancer are known as cusp personalities and carry both the signature of Leo as well as Cancer (inner self).  The Sun’s orb of influence is 16 degrees.  As a result, anyone born at let’s say 2 degrees Leo will have 10 degrees of influence in Leo and 6 degrees influence of Cancer.  This explains how there are some blended character traits in the preceding and proceeding signs depending on your date of birth.  There are also many other mitigating factors that determine personality traits, although the Sun sign dominates the “inner” persona.

The Sun sign of Leo is a very noble position as its ruling planet is the Sun and its symbolic representation is the Lion, the king of the jungle.  This is what strong Leo personalities express in their character.  They want to be noticed and in most cases they stand out in the crowd.  Leo’s are rather regal in their demeanour.  They like to be the centre of attention and when they enter a room, you will know that they have just walked in.

In most cases they are very likable personalities and will bend over backwards for anyone, as long as they are recognized for their efforts.  Some could be considered a little egotistical, although their concern and caring is genuine.  They are usually very loving and considerate people.  They will go out of their way to assist you and help you in whatever way is required.  This comes from the heart and they are genuine in their caring nature.  There is nothing pretentious about them, but a pat on the back for their diligent efforts is greatly appreciated.  When they go out of their way to assist another and their efforts are not recognized, they can easily be hurt.  They mean what they say but may promise a little more than they are able to deliver.

In general people with strong Leo characteristics in their birth chart, and this would include those with many planets in the sign of Leo, a Leo Ascendant or several planets in the fifth house, are loving, well-meaning and generous with their time and energy almost to a fault.  They are gracious and easily open their hearts to anyone that may come along.  They are affectionate people with big hearts who genuinely want to make others happy.

Many of these whole-hearted individuals have lofty dreams and they are hard workers.  They enjoy the good life and with persistent efforts can make some of their dreams come true.  They have a good idea of what it is they want and will go after it and make things happen, not only in their life but also in others’ lives.  Life does not always come easy for them, but regardless, they are willing to work diligently towards any goal.  Once on course, it is hard to shift their focus.  They are determined individuals once they are set in motion, although they do have a retiring side when it comes to relaxation and can easily shift themselves into a relaxed mode. 

Leo is a fire sign and a fixed sign suggesting that they are determined when striving for their objectives and will not easily be swayed by others, especially once their mind is made up.  However they are willing to listen to advice even if they do not take it, but they will adapt if necessary.  Their intentions are always on the up and up, and if others do not take their advice or appreciate their good natured intentions, they will have committed a great injustice and the Leo individual can easily be hurt.  They want to be appreciated!

Confidence runs high with the typical Leo and yet they can be quite humble when others show their appreciation.  If they were to make a mistake, and they will accept responsibility for mistakes that they make, they will do what they can to repair the situation.  Sometimes they will blame themselves when in fact it is someone else who deserves the blame.  Much depends on what their perspective is on that person.

If you are looking for a true friend and companion for life, one who accepts you for who you are and accepting all of the little flaws that you may have, Leo is the one you are searching for.  They will be loyal to the end, stand by your side in times of trouble, and always offer help when you are in need.

YESTERDAY'S MEMORIES AND TODAY'S CHALLENGES

We all have fond memories of yesterday.  Some are so pleasant that we have great difficulty letting go of what used to be and moving forward with today.  Holding on to memories can be tantalizingly enjoyable.  It can also be tumultuous and even incredibly sad, but remember these are just that, a memory. 

Some might say that today is based on our yesterdays and it is hard not to agree with this concept, but the past is the past.  We can neither return there nor change the past.  We must allow the past to remain there and move in new directions that are no longer relevant or significant to our past.

It can be challenging for some to come to terms with events of the past and to realize that the past is no longer.  Change is difficult for most of us.  Some of us will fight tooth and nail to keep things as they were, but in so doing, we can be delaying wonderful experiences waiting to happen.  It can be very difficult to take that next step or turn that next corner for the unknown can be intimidating.  All change, good, difficult or indifferent, can create anxiety if we fight against it.  Opening up to growth and having faith that we are always moving in our intended direction allows life to flow so much easier.

Some people have expressed that life is relentless and so exasperating.  They feel as though they are at the mercy of life events.  There are even those that take drastic steps to try to alleviate change or to moving forward, to the point that they have stopped living productive lives. 

We can never give up regardless of the situation.  We are here to live, learn and love.  Why would we anticipate the worse for tomorrow?  Does it not feel encouraging and lighter to anticipate something wonderful for tomorrow?  Taking a step back and leaving tomorrow to tomorrow, do we not feel contentment living in this very moment (right here, right now) and realizing that ALL of our needs are being met in this very moment. 

Most of our struggles come from not receiving what we anticipate or feel that we SHOULD have.  Sometimes we are simply fighting with ourselves.  Sometimes we just want that easy route out.  In most cases, there is no easy route for growth, but rest assured, life perpetually changes. 

If you choose to, you will find your way.

Never give up on life.  Stay strong in the face of adversity and find that little glimmer of light that is always there (but sometimes not seen).  If you look hard enough, you will see it.  You will find a new and more productive route to follow. 

The most challenging of life’s circumstances often produce the most magnificent outcomes.  We are on our chosen paths.  Nothing in life is too challenging if we decide to charge forward, no matter how great the challenge may feel at this moment.

Stay strong and learn from these stepping stones.  You will find the strength you need and you will overcome.  Challenges are put in place for you to grow from.  When we find the courage to confront these issues, we blossom in so many ways.  Believe in yourself, acknowledge the moment and have faith in tomorrow.
