UNCOVERING TRUTH

What we perceive to be true is usually simply that.....a perception.  What we view as truth is usually only a perception for that moment in time.  Reaching out beyond our perceptions and connecting with spirit opens the door to real true. 

We are never at the mercy of life.  The truths that we uncover build and change as we grow and we adapt to these recognitions.  Our pure truth lies in the fact that we are spiritual energy and as a result living our life from a human perspective is continually changing.

If we live in the moment we are eternally caught up in the truth which that moment holds. 

Enjoy life’s experiences and accept them as they happen.  Foster an allegiance with the lessons being taught and remain open.  Any concepts currently being learned are of utmost importance in this moment and anything beyond this moment is irrelevant.

Enjoy the moment and live within it.  Stay open to information coming through on all levels of understanding and be available to this information as it serves a purpose within this moment.  Live, share and investigate all that is in this moment.  This is a life of discovery and constant learning based on whatever we are open to.  Whatever we close our minds to, we will never understand.

This is not to say that in learning life’s lessons that we will not be unaccountable for our actions in the future.  As we expand and move forward in life and access more and more truth, we become closer to our connecting with the whole.  When we reach out with open arms and hearts for what lies ahead and truly see ourselves for whom and what we truly are, we obtain a greater spiritual understanding.

Life’s lessons are facts turned right side up and are rooted in knowing.  The more we are open and grasp, the more pure truth is revealed to us. 

We are not our bodies.  We are not our thoughts.  We are not our egos.  We are an ever-expanding spirit or energy moving forward in our understanding of our own true identity.   Allow your inner light to shine.

TRANSITING SATURN CONJUNCT MARS

In general Saturn and Mars are opposing energies.  Mars likes to push forward and energetically moves into life’s adventures with much enthusiasm.  Saturn has a lot to do with restrictions and delays and will always take the tried and tested route.  It will not push forward until all of the “T’s” have been crossed and all the “I’s” have been dotted.  As you can imagine, these two energies work at odds against one another.

The only time they work well together is when you have spent the appropriate amount of time studying a subject or goal and are truly prepared to move ahead.  Unfinished work or untidy conditions due to rushing will never work out under a Saturn/Mars aspect.  Perhaps you will have a greater chance of success with a trine or sextile but even under these conditions, you will still have to do the ground work and can never cut corners.

Saturn is very restrictive in its nature but does provide opportunities for success when the ground work is completed.  Mars is always ready to move ahead, so when these two are combined, there is a great push and pull.  The energy of Mars is thwarted and stagnated but if we were to pursue something that requires deep study and concentrated energy, following Saturn’s requirements, you just might succeed.

Since Mars stimulates the urge for action and is always pushing ahead, the energy of Saturn can cause problems – even confrontations due to frustration.  Arguments and anger are often side shoots of this combination.  Accidents are also associated with this combination as we tend to want to rush even when we should be cautious.  We may feel frustration when attempting to move ahead in our objectives, although if we take our time and realize that in order to achieve what we set out to do it will require steady unobstructed hard work, we can actually achieve a great deal.  We must learn to be patient and recognize that it takes time to achieve positive results when Saturn is involved.

As mentioned we can become quite irritable which in turn creates arguments and disruptions in the flow of things.  Aggressive action will lead to troublesome times.  It might not take much to make us angry as progress is often hindered in some way and at times seemingly by others.  Everything seems to be moving at a snail’s pace and we just want to get on with things.  I suppose Saturn, the task maker, is teaching us patience.  We will have to persevere if we want to make any progress at all.

If we focus and stay with our task at hand regardless of intrusion and delays, we have the opportunity to accomplish big things, but not without some challenge that we will have to endure and rise above with this aspect.

If Mars is located on our Ascendant or in the sixth house, we may experience frustrations around our working conditions.  Because of these feelings of stagnation, we can begin to feel sick and our health can be affected in adverse ways.  The best thing to do is to accept whatever life conditions seem to come our way with this aspect and realize that it will take longer to complete tasks even if they are important.  Sometimes we just need to accept that life does not always go the way we would like it to go, although with a persistent effort and concentrated energy, we will accomplish quite a lot.

INTUITIVE INSIGHT

We always have available to us insight into what is transpiring on an intuitive level.  If we open ourselves up to the information that is available to us, we would be able to move more readily in directions that are the most appropriate.  If there is a time when we are questioning what we should be doing with our life, it is important to understand that what we are in search of is always readily available to us in one form or another.  We simply need to recognize the information available and then follow the nudges being offered.  We always have the ability to consciously choose what we see fit and usually intuitively we know what it is that you need to do.  Our intuition is our guide even though it may seem quite subtle.  It is the quiet voice within that offers gentle suggestions.

Under most conditions these subtle suggestions provide us with the route of least resistance even though this route may not be the one that we had previously planned to take.  The little voice inside can be so quiet that we fluff it off as insignificant and in hindsight we remember thinking we should have done things differently but the message had been quickly forgotten only to be recalled after the fact. 

Unfortunately, all too often we do not listened as we are not familiar with the voice or its advice.  On occasion, however, we allow its gentle advice to move us in a specific direction.  More often than not, we allow ego to interference with this guide.

Ego seldom, if ever, offers advice that will permanently assist us in overcoming issues and when the challenge returns once again, it usually surfaces with greater intensity and is much more restrictive in its nature.  Inner guidance, although subtle, provides us with lasting solutions and can be relied on.

If we look back on situations where we have listened to and acted on the gentle nudges and heads up from our intuition, we will note positive outcomes.  We will not have to look back in hindsight to realize what we should have done.

Intuition is not uncommon.  Everyone on one level or another, if we care to listen, has that perceptive little voice that offers advice.  When we followed that subtle advice we are usually spared heartache and lessons from the school of hard knocks.

When we listen to the message from our intuition on a regular basis, its messages become much easier to acknowledge.  Following its advice will assist us in avoiding harsher lessons.  It provides an added measure of calm and an easier road to follow.  Recognizing our intuition’s validity is as though we have a wise partner that walks this journey with us.  What a wonderful reality to acknowledge.

TRANSITING URANUS IN ASPECT TO MERCURY

This post applies to not only natal Mercury but also progressed Mercury. 

Mercury is the planet of the mind and communication.  There are times when it indicates travel although there would have to be other aspects that point to travel for this to happen.  It also deals with everyday life and our mental reaction to these events and people.  As mentioned, Mercury is all about communication and this could go as far as telephone conversations and communication through electronic devices such as computers especially when linked to Uranus as Uranus is often linked to electronics and modern technology.

Mercury on its own does very little and unless it is in aspect with others planets, it is considered neutral.  Mercury takes on the energies of any planet it aspects or is aspected by.  When it is aspected by Uranus, communication and mental processing becomes unique, different and far-sighted.  Uranus is very impulsive in its action and when joined with Mercury, this could result in intellectual conversation and actions that would be decided on in the moment.  You could say that Uranus and Mercury could be considered impulsive in their actions and their thinking energies.

Uranus is all about pushing us out of passé thinking and activities and assists us in seeking freedom on some level.  When these planets are linked by aspect, thinking is stimulated and erratic ideas may flood the mind.  Ideas that you have never entertained before suddenly seem quite appropriate and you are likely to act on them too.  Communication has more depth and has greater meaning.  New insights will be entertained and you would probably share these ideas with others.  Many would consider these ideas erratic and unconventional but certainly engaging and thought provoking to say the least.

You may find that the occult (supernatural, mystical, psychic) may interest you, particularly astrology.  Anything scientific also carries more weight than normal especially if you are already inclined to think in these terms.  Abstract thinking and the study of subjects that are linked to occult teachings would not only interest you but you would be advised to undertake their study.  You may find them mentally stimulating and they may awaken latent abilities linked to the supernatural that lie dormant. 

Taking advantage of anything new is highly suggested but you should also understand that this whole process may be short lived.  Sometimes the energies of Uranus bring things into our lives that are very stimulating and exciting but they can also vanish just as quickly as they entered.

Try to keep your mind as focused as possible as Uranus will tend to scatter your thoughts off into different fields of activities and watch for making impulsive decisions.  Always think things through before jumping in with both feet.

As mentioned earlier, Mercury sometimes indicates travel and with the influence of Uranus there is the small potential for accidents or mishaps along the way due to being impulsive.  You can anticipate the unexpected when you are making plans for excursions and new adventures, as quite often things do not turn out as you first expect.

Whatever takes place it will be an enlightening experience.  You will complete this experience wiser than you were prior to this transit.  Expect the unexpected for only by doing so will you have an inkling of what Uranus can bring.

PERSPECTIVE AND GRATITUDE

If you take a quick glance at the difficulties facing our world, many issues come down to our financial system.  It is clear that it does not work.  To make it worse, in one way or another, we are all at the mercy of our attitude towards our financial situation.  There are many ways that money can affect our lives and regardless of our financial state there always seem to be some problem associated to our own personal world of finances. 

The rich seldom seem to be satisfied with their situation and in many cases, greed has led to difficulties at the expense of those at the lower end of the economic scale.  There are those that barely survive in our so called civilized world and there are those that are rich beyond belief. 

If we stop for a moment and truly analyse our financial situation, we could put our financial wealth into perspective.  Compared your financial standing to those in third world countries.  These people struggle just to find meal.  There are resources available that could provide much needed assistance and agricultural help that could alleviate or at the very least assist with these struggles.

Pay heed to the family squabbles that erupt due to financial matters.  Many families experience separation due to finances.  Sit in on a mediation session with a separating couple to experience a distorted attitudes towards money. 

The master of these matters is our attitude towards money.  These attitudes are the creators of many disruptions, family heartaches, and world hunger. 

It is clear that our attitudes toward money do not work. 

How do you allow your finances to control you? 

How will you allow your financial state to affect you, your family and the world around you? 

Is it not time that we put money in its proper place?  True happiness is found within.  True happiness is experience when we truly love ourselves and then can share this love with others.

We do live in a material world but that does not mean that we are measured by what we own and our status in life.  With our distorted value system, over time, we have more respect towards those that own more.  If money were so significant, why is it that when we die we have to leave our material possessions behind? 

Does it not seem reasonable that anything of true value has its place and would still have significance even at the end of life and even more important after life? 

Let us share and spread our wealth – our true wealth that comes from deep within.  The most valuable gift we can give to others is our selves.....our love..... our attention.  We can also share our material wealth with those that need it.  Start with the ones that matter, the ones close to your heart.  Make sure that they do not go without – emotionally or physically. 

In this material world, we do need to look after ourselves and our family, but there is usually a little left over.  Why is it that the food banks are always short, and what can you do to change this?  Together we can make this world a better place for everyone and in our own small way, we can start that ripple effect. 

To be on the giving end, we also are on the receiving end of our gifts.  The feeling of knowing that we have truly helped someone in need is immeasurable. 

We have to be thankful for all that we have in life.  By giving to those in need, we also afford them opportunity to experience the same thankfulness and to know that they too are important and worthy.

ADDRESSING OUR DAILY ROUTINE

No matter how mundane our day-to-day life seems to be, whether this be a repetitive day at work, a stay at home parent, a student in class or a senior struggling to stay occupied, we are responsible for the content of our lives. 

Working for a living, as it is called, has its perks.  Without an income we could not have a home or could we put food on the table for ourselves or our families and these are just basic necessities.

Nothing in life is insignificant.  Each role that we play is important whether we consider them mundane or quite significant.  Unfortunately, however many of us lose interest in routine.

Why are we forced to deal with these mundane matters when there are other much more important issues to deal with?  Are we here just to work away our lives or work to service our children or other individuals and clean?  Is this the purpose of our earthly existence?  If not, why do these routines consume so much of our time?

If we were to become absorbed in all that we do, experiencing the moment to its fullest (which few of us do) would life change?  Would it seem to have more meaning?  Many of us are caught up in resisting routine and feeling as though we are prisoners of life and its chores.  Perhaps if we were to alter our perspective on what it is that we are doing with our lives and appreciate each and every opportunity life presents, we would realize the blessings that we take for granted in the developed world.  We no longer have to tend the fields to harvest our food nor do we have to hunt to ensure we have protein on the table.

It is easy to get caught up in the “woe is me” mentality and then we forget what luxuries and blessings we are afforded each day.  It is easy to overlook the plight of our fellow brothers and sisters that do not know the luxuries we take for granted.  It is essential to appreciate each moment we experience, as life could be so very different.

Through focusing on what we feel is lacking and what we consider as “negative aspects” in our daily lives, we fail to notice all the good that exists.  We abandon our appreciation for life and all of its blessings, big and small. 

Be thankful that we can carry out our daily activities with the tools at hand. 

Doing the best job possible at our work can bring about financial reward but can also bring about personal satisfaction and appreciation of a job well done. 

Our lives are only as mundane as our attitudes are towards them.  How do you perceive your life?  Where do you channel your thoughts and expectations?
